1001  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nachius tries to scam me . on: May 29, 2017, 03:06:59 PM
Half of this is a lie, half is the truth.

ViaBTC does work, what I was telling him is that the odds of getting the transaction confirmed soon was low. We made an exchange:
My job was to confirm his transaction within a short period of time. His job was to pay up the 0.292 BTC. The transaction was confirmed via pushtx.btc.com, and shortly thereafter, Zaizoun went offline. A few hours after that, still without a response, Zaizoun removed me and blocked me. This is without knowing anything about how it was confirmed. This is how I know Zaizoun had no intentions of paying.

After leaving a negative for me, Zaizoun began making excuses. He tried to make up some lies about how he should not pay, etc. To get to the point, I left a negative because Zaizoun is clearly not to be trusted.

As for my side, I did my part. I confirmed the transaction, whether it cost me $10,000 to do so, or $0.01, Zaizoun was to pay me 0.292 BTC to confirm it. I did in fact use pushtx.btc.com, however Zaizoun should have no issue with this if he stuck to his word.

Since then, Zaizoun has repeatedly blocked communications with me, made up lies, and is trying to make me look like the "scammer" to try and get his red trust removed. His actions are completely untrustworthy, and although from my side I have not dealt with him in the best way, this user has been so extremely hard to deal with that I have no other options but to act aggressively in return. Until the 0.292 is repaid, the trust sticks. Making up more lies will not help. Whether I played a trick on you or not, a deal is a deal.

Playing tricks on people is not what DT members should be doing, IMO. People are supposed to trust you because you're supposed to be trustworthy. If someone played tricks on me, I would not trust them.... would you?

I guess I might expect this behavior from some traders out there, just not another DT member. You mark red for ponzi schemes, which is essentially mathematical trickery, but you are ok tricking people yourself  Huh

I'll just ask, are you the original nachius account holder?

Update: Account was removed from DT.

Yes. I used when I was trading with Cryptorios DBIX coins. But it's in the PM olib account.
In PM I wrote Cryptorious send me BTC at my Poloniex address Bitcoin : 2017-04-02 19:36:40,BTC,0.10200000,1PHkuj4DrnkwtZpaAbdn2eUdvcQ5ZT2Ycx,COMPLETE

All this address are in PMīs olib.

I also do not understand why there is such an obstruction here to prove an account. On my bistamp it happened that I was updating my phone and the Google verification code was deleted. I figured out. Bittrex is also sure to be equipped.

The only signed message I see from you is from 15K5BdxDm6ETSreU4Uc64Aq1zxAp2ZSRr4  ... which you did not list in your addresses above.

If you can sign a message the way you did the first time, but with an address that was posted in your PMs on this forum, Cyrus or theymos might be able to help but you would need to PM them the correct signed message from an address that was posted in your PMs.
1003  Other / Meta / Re: I canīt log in to account. on: May 25, 2017, 07:09:28 PM
I'm sorry to answer late, but I was not home. In my account I did not have a BTC address through which I could prove that the account is mine.
CYRUS wrote to me that he only found: "Where did you post that address?
I just found one address posted by that account here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1771221.msg18566315#msg18566315 "
Address: 34W7YYTuVFgQS6ofHX1JoALzUhKEbshBfL This is the olib address for Picoin.
I have the evidence that it's my kind of address.

See:
https://www.imageupload.co.uk/image/BImq
https://www.imageupload.co.uk/image/BIm1

If I tried to publish even the entire Roaming folder for Picoin (put on eg .sendspace as a zip file)
I have no other proof. It's me that I'm already a MEMBER position. And now start with 9 activity as a Newbie neosone.
I do not know what evidence to deliver when this is not enough. So I would be curious or able to prove at least one email that is his account. Or he can prove Picoins address. I have in my mail countless emails from Bitcointalk eg. PM send. Also  Cyrus see how I traded DBIX coins with Cryptorios. How PM is for 0.0068 sales. I sold him 270 DBIX ( once 150 DBIX a than 120 DBIX ). This is only in the PM account olib.

This I sent Cyrus:

----- BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE -----
HI admin. 24 May 2017 someone changed my password to my account olib. My address is olib@centrum.sk
You can send me to that email reset email or resolve it pls. Thanks.

The screenshots combined with the email and password change have me convinced it was hacked or stolen but Cyrus may need more than that to actually recover the account. In a perfect world, you would have posted a Bitcoin address somewhere on your account and be able to sign a message from that Bitcoin address.... this is usually what the admins want to recover an account. Did you use any bitcoin addresses in your PMs here on bitcointalk?

1005  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: May 25, 2017, 06:13:12 PM
Most people trade based off of the fiat value, which is why someone would want to look at this donation amount and convert it.

theymos isn't starting off his bids for advertising on this forum at .5BTC like he did in the past... he lowered it to .25 and now .1, as would be expected because people aren't going to start bidding at .5 with prices the way they are. I, too, would love for everyone to trade BTC as BTC... it just isn't reality right now.

There is no desire to change the donation amount, the forum doesn't care about donations anymore because they apparently do not need it, so as of now it has been decided that it will not change. If they want or need donations again in the future, I would guess this will be changed to bring in a higher quantity of donations, but nobody knows if or when that would ever happen.
1006  Other / Meta / Re: I canīt log in to account. on: May 24, 2017, 09:41:25 PM
Sure. I sent PM  theymos. But no answer yet.
To ibminer: Do you know help me ?

If you give me your account name I can take a look at the account to see if it is being used or had its password reset? You can also look at https://www.bitcointalk.org/seclog.php and see if your account name appears.  theymos is the only one who can recover accounts, you could also try Cyrus.

1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 23, 2017, 01:39:24 PM
Their response was simple... "it IS integrated with Tor", and then they reference some specific branch on github. However, none of the clients being used as primary downloads for the client integrate with Tor, and I really have not yet seen conclusive proof that the tor branch integrates either. I also have good reason to believe they do not currently have the development support to do this type of integration. Long story short, CarsenK is involved (Carsen, carsenk, kingcarsen), who has created plenty of shit coins in the past.

I've left feedback. He has another thread going as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1927424.0
The account may have changed hands. The recent green trust is likely from gift cards purchased through fraudulent means. I'm sure he wants to sell more cards, so there is a chance you might get your money back when he has more cards to sell.  Undecided

Update:
To try and keep the record straight, "carsenk" apparently left the development of TorCoin near the end of April because Tor didn't want them using the trademark & logo. I still wouldn't trust a coin started by him. He is still the only sole contributor to the TorCoin GitHub, so at this point I see him as being the primary developer.

1013  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TorCoin Is A Scam on: May 22, 2017, 03:35:18 PM
As I understand it:

Mac version == Not integrated with Tor
Windows version == Not integrated with Tor
Linux version == Not integrated with Tor
Github version (tor branch only) == integrated
Not developed yet - but I'll assume the iOS and Android versions will also not be integrated with Tor.

The majority of TorCoin releases, and all main branch releases, are not integrated and it is extremely misleading reading the OP or the website because everything revolves around its integration with Tor.

If the website and OP get changed to reflect the truth more clearly and I hear back from some of the companies I've contacted regarding possible false-positives on the windows version being detected as a trojan, I will consider modifying my feedback.

Comment above still stands. TorCoin is not integrated with Tor and I'm almost positive now that it is a scam. I'm at least confident enough to say nobody should trust this person or this coin.

Don't worry though, the "creator" posted it will be integrated in 2 weeks. < This is sarcasm.

A good portion of the code is copied from "Nightmare" coin, also a SCAM:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740936.0
and linked to Shadowcoin:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741234.0
These were also linked to "Carsenk", same developer listed for the Torcoin github.

From the torcoin github commit history:  (a bunch of replacements renaming "Nightmare" to "Torcoin")

I've updated my feedback.
1014  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TorCoin Is A Scam on: May 21, 2017, 10:32:12 AM
But hey don't listen to me or the OP who did REAL research.. listen to the snotty little shit spouting off for random shitcoin ROI's.. because he's a sig campaign moderator !
Ooooh la la look out mother fuckers we got a fucking big shot in here ROFL

@OP
Random tidbit of info for you Wink
2013 i did some poking around with some wallets and i found an interesting bit of info..
A lot of the wallets were all calling home to a specific IRC channel to allegedly a dev said to get nodes.
And it also made it easier to track some of them to the same dev.. because he used the same IRC channel etc.. pointing the finger at him for a crap load of clone coins on Cryptsy back then.
Who were all of course tied in closely with almost all the staff..
Made by the same scammy cunt who made CENT and shitloads of others.

I know about the IRC deal. It's the first thing I noticed when I inspected the TorCoin traffic. I caught it in the Wireshark packet capture. I also found the IRC Username and Password for the channel too. I logged in and watched all the nodes joining and leaving. I wrote down several IP addresses and even ran NMAP on a few of them. So, yeah. The TorCoin OP says you are untraceable. I found a central location where I can track all the connected nodes.  Shocked

You can see the IRC room with all the connected nodes here:

Honestly, that's all I need to say. Every claim they make about anonymity is completely fake.

https://i.imgur.com/Qjbz9ZT.jpg

Looks like the old DDoS botnets that would join IRC to receive commands from its operator. They were not really "bots" but infected machines that would join IRC and wait for commands on what IP to attack...
1015  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: May 18, 2017, 07:01:12 PM
Sorry for the severely delayed response.

It looks like you agreed that Lauda did in fact extort zeroaxl below, however I would point out that findlaw.com describes extortion as "[...]gaining of [...]money[...] by [...] threat of [...] harm to reputation, or 4) unfavorable government action[...]" and also "[...]threat to expose the details of someone's private lives to the public unless money is exchanged[...]"

I would say that it is clear that Lauda's and TMAN's action meet the above criteria.

In regards to this potentially being a "bluff for entrapment" I would strongly disagree that is the case. I would point out that paying an extortion payment is not an admission of guilt. For example, if Lauda were to tell you that you needed to send him 2 BTC or he will tell your wife that you recently cheated on her, the fact that you (hypothetically) paid this extortion payment does not necessarily mean that you recently cheated on your wife. I presume that most people would not want their significant other receiving this kind of message -- the chances of you paying might be higher if you had cheated on her many years ago that she found out about (possibly in a similar manor), but remain loyal since then, or if your wife has trust issues, or if you are having marital problems, but remain loyal to her.

I also remember a few years ago that Roger Ver posted a video of him receiving a skype call in which someone threatened to "SWAT" his mother if he did not sent 20 BTC to a specific address. I suspect that there was no reason for a SWAT team to visit Ver's mother's house, however Ver might have paid if he didn't want his mother getting 'swated' -- IIRC Ver actually ended up offering a 20 BTC bounty for the guy's arrest.

This is not a case of extortion strictly speaking, rather it is a case of attempted extortion, which is just as much of a crime, and is just as bad.

In regards to your comments about my motives, I would say that I have a history of not being friendly to extortionists. I would refer you to my public interactions regarding puzzle.me and and candystripes/thoughtful to see my long history of my strong negative opinions regarding attempted extortion.

Before I fully respond to this, I have a question relating to motive. In this situation, should the good things that Lauda has done for the forum & community be a factor when determining reasonable doubt over whether or not this was an extortion attempt to bring someone supposedly shady out into the open -or- an extortion attempt for some sort of financial gain?  Again, I don't really agree with either, but the latter is much worse IMO.

Also, I'm not sure your example is very compelling for me. Personally, I would first tell Lauda I unfortunately don't own 2BTC - as sad as that is - so attempting to extort me is pointless as I couldn't send it anyway (donations are accepted! Cool). Even if I did have it, I'm too strong minded (or maybe hard headed?) that I would never pay anything for something I didn't do. There are other things I would do in this situation, but I'm not going to give away how I would defend myself. Besides, my wife trusts me and would certainly believe my word over some damn online cat!  Grin
1016  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TorCoin Is A Scam on: May 17, 2017, 07:03:27 PM
I agree it was wrong from TheTorcoin not to state this in the OP
Torcoin is however indeed TOR integrated:
https://github.com/TorCoinProject/torcoin/tree/tor

However, I agree it was completely wrong not to state this in the OP
I also think it's a bit of an exaggeration to leave a red tag on him

Torcoin IS being developed and will implement more features

As I understand it:

Mac version == Not integrated with Tor
Windows version == Not integrated with Tor
Linux version == Not integrated with Tor

Anyone has been hacked after download the TorCoin Wallet?
Here is everything ok, and the campaign manager is so dedicated with the proposal.
There is nothing wrong with wallet but to be on a safer side, use some good antivirus to scan the wallet.I am sure you will get positive results.

To be on the safe side? Don't even run this garbage. Virus or not it's a scam.
Why are younsaying it is a scam? You said you ran test and proved it doesn't connect to the tor network and that this coin is not anonymous at all. Than show us that proof and I am happy to believe you, but as it looks now it just looks like you are an FUDDER.

The Windows and MACOS wallets don't integrate with TOR yet - but they will soon.  For now, it's just the linux version.  We have active devs working to create a switch that will enable users to turn Tor on/off when using the Windows and MacOS wallets, which enables them to comply with laws in their country or bypass Tor blockages (ie, in China)

Windows and MacOS are a nightmare for compatibility and development, as anyone in the industry knows. Getting them to integrate with TOR has not been easy, but it's under active development, along with an Android wallet.

The linux version does indeed create a Tor node, despite the FUD >> https://github.com/TorCoinProject/torcoin/tree/tor

I believe these attacks are exaggerated

Obviously no one has been hacked
ESET team and Bitfender team have replied that the results were indeed false falgs

Why did some users intentionally post an older scan  rather then the new one they would get scanning now (relatively new, a week old, still needs updates) I fail to understand

Also I currently have a lot of messeges,  note that I have an exam in a couple of hours so I'll reply to my messeges in the evening Smiley

Do NOT download or run torcoin-qt.exe - the executable is confirmed to contain a wallet.dat stealing trojan.

Why are you sending the older link?
The newer one has some virus signature updates and therfore registered false positives
However this one is a week old too as you can see Bitdefender hasn't yet been updated!

The link you posted is based on the URL, which is a different analysis using the website address itself, not the actual executable that is downloaded.
You posting this link seems odd to me.

As of today, when I download the Windows version directly from TorCoin's website and run it through virustotal, this is what it shows:

Torcoin: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/40387019beef2eb50cec3fe0ced82f81eec44140a17e9b1dfd3c895bba9af0b0/analysis/1495027828/
22/60

Some of these could potentially be false positives because they are generic detections of a trojan but this is very alarming when you do the same thing to other altcoins out there and see the differences. These were all fresh downloads and directly uploaded to virustotal.

Litecoin: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/7b6a0c05d4f393840f2e11afee615ddf11a54e65146225cb395311ee0ce9c394/analysis/1495030629/

In addition, everything describing TorCoin on the OP of this thread and on the TorCoin website makes it seem like it is acting as a Tor node and is not sharing any IP information, but the primary downloads that are released do not appear to do any of this. And nowhere does it state this or inform people. This seems like an extreme misrepresentation of what TorCoin is actually doing.

There seems to be some confusion about Tor integration.

Yes, TorCoin DOES create a full TOR node.  You simply need to download from the TOR branch on our github, not the main branch >>

The main branch does not create a full TOR node.  I could of course change that, and maybe I should, but running Tor nodes is illegal in some countries, so I wanted to allow users the option.

In future releases, there will simply be a check-box in the Windows and MACOS wallets giving you the option to run a TOR node or not, in order to comply with local laws.

All of the people spreading FUD about Tor simply didn't read our docs at all, and were too lazy to look through the github - because TorCoin most definitely DOES CREATE TOR NODES.  Simply download from >>

So which version gets downloaded when you click "Download for Windows" or "Download for Mac" on the website?
