He is obsessed with the minute details of financial transactions and not so much interested in the details of the technology that is being created. 3-5 months is when the Safe Network will go live and the tech, in theory, is solid. He beats a dead horse (after admitting to a modest profit) and fails to allow the conversation to evolve to the point of what is coming. He's either the biggest bagholder trying to drive prices down to capitalize on the 'second IPO=Safe Network launch' or just an asshole. Personal Experience suggests he is the former; Concessions made for the latter...though he might be a delight to be friends with in person...much like the esteem I hold with my far right conservative friends. Assholes but earnest and good for a debate every once in awhile. Still...I follow this thread for news and am increasingly disappointed every time he posts...because he never posts news. |

I just want you to start thinking about it: What will happen if you give this Guy more money for "development" ?
That concern has already been approached by me. Escrow payable on third party confirmation after implementation...if the community finds it a worthwhile endeavour which has yet to happen. There is no use continuing down negativity. I like this community and feel that if we had something to rally around we could definitely rally...but no one is suggesting we do it blind anymore. |

alpha version: 10days.
final version: 3days.
He is saying after the alpha version though, he will need a lot more in payments...So if you guys want Dreamcoin to turn into something even more beautiful and have zerocoin integration, then we will need to start another funding. I know I have lost a lot of trust with the community, but what are your guys thoughts on this?
Also for those talking about me and my personal life: If you continue to troll me and my personal life, I will leave....I didn't come here to be flamed about my self, where I work, etc. I work as an independent contractor with AT&T via Talk2Rep, It is a lame job, yes, but I was working at a graphic design firm in downtown boise last summer, the guy was a sociopath, and treated me like shit so I left. I have been doing freelance for a local creative company as well, most of my jobs end up being freelance as that is where the quickest, easiest, and best method of making money is, $100 an hour compared to $14 an hour haha....I do want to see Dreamcoin succeed, but things can't happen right away a lot of the time, I do have C++ experience, but Zerocoin integration (more so the completion of libzerocoin is a little out of my field), hence the freelancer, he can get it done and has assured me, I am waiting for him to make a few commits before proceeding further or finding a new dev Wink

People should at least give the 2nd Dev a chance to show the Alpha version. We've already paid for it, might as well see how it is. Why throw away money? If it seems like it's good progress, we can open up an escrow or have one of the DRM whales get in touch with the 2nd Dev directly to make payment if you no longer trust Carsen.
This seems like where we are at. Patience. I'm down with that. Would appreciate some more consistent interaction from Carsen if he is cool with that...even if it is to just interact so that we know that he really does want his coin to succeed. A lot of this thread is comprised of speculation whereas the threads of coins that are doing well are posts from people who are proactive. There is still opportunity here and the community is still pretty stout. Regrouping time, guys...let's not get carried away and let a pretty cool coin dissipate away so quickly. And let's keep Carsen's personal life out of this....it's not fair since we aren't giving out our information. Would still be cool if you came through and gave this group something to rally around though...we're kind of itching to do things. My two cents... |

If people decide to do this then I think it should be escrowed and released only after there is a final product and integration is provable/confirmed by third parties. |

It's a good question, NoirShares is a new project, but we have just released NoirPool.com, the first DAC-style multipool that pays out revenues to shareholders. Regardless, I pointed a miner at the new pool yesterday and purchased some coins/shares which I am currently showing a loss on. I intend to hold them for the long term, obviously, and was just wondering what future plans were for DAC's as I am interested to learn more. I can be patient though and will just keep watching your thread and silently berate myself for not taking this thread more seriously when I saw it pop up at its inception...  |

I'm kind of a noob at this and am unsure how to set this up for mining. I went through the "Getting started" link but it seems that some of the info for Windows is missing? Do I just download all of the links in the ANN or is the proces in the "Getting started link" sufficient?

i used to work 13-14hrs a day 7 days a week and get paid 900pw, these coders get more money then brain surgents..ridicules..sry but is...there coding..not performing miracles, sure it's hard work but so are many things that don't pay like that
Agreed. And the possible exponentiation is the driving point. Not money up front. By the way...Monero is now live on Polo. Probably relevant info even if indirectly so. |

I think one month would negate the reason why he is doing this if he is trying to gauge his DRK investment...I could be wrong but I think that his offer is incredible considering the projected appreciation of BTC. Just saying... |

I panic bought at 20k and went to bed hoping it would fall so I could buy a little bit more...I didn't actually expect it to happen...
I hope someone takes up MyFarm on his offer...reading his posts from the immediate and more distant past, he doesn't mess around when trying to get things going.
