You need to authorize the app: https://api.imgur.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=09727b421c2303e&response_type=tokenCopy the #access_token that the page will return (look at the URL bar) and use it as a Bearer token on the authorization field. Example: headers: { authorization: 'Bearer ef0da923dcd3c61bb4b5faa2c5418cfaef7ff340' },

really? I would think they would just make new coins. I stand corrected.
as for US currency - I thought it was illegal to "deface" it even?
edit - just re-read the law concerning defacing and it states that the crime is if you render the currency "unfit to be re-issued" so it has to be usable as US currency still. would these coins classify as "usable" still?
I believe if it is valid us tender, it must be acceptable, so I don't see why not - I know if I were a clerk and someone tried to pay with one of those I'd gladly accept it and buy it right back out of the register.  Edit - When I was much younger, I used to find all sorts of weird coins in the register that had been "defaced", or like those cheap gold-looking half dollars they made one year etc etc .... Lots of silver halves and dimes were floating about for a long time! Not so much anymore, but sometimes in a roll I get lucky. 🤷♂️ |

all the timers shown in this thread no longer seem to work right - the one in OP starts off ok but after a while it gets stuck in a one minute loop and stops working correctly.
does https://www.timeanddate.com/ still work? I've also sent SatsLife a PM asking him to add a line about the EDITING of auction bids to head these off at the pass. I'm actually a bit surprised it's been so long since we've run into this in this fashion. In the "Old days" auctions were run in the "Auctions" subthread, where editing of posts is disallowed. Unfortunately, they can't do this with the collectibles section, as I remember it being requested long ago if the title had [AUCTION] in it, but nobody/theymos would make the change/mod... 🤷♂️ |
