1041  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 22, 2023, 12:50:39 PM
Honestly i don't know when it has always been good for the smooth runnings of the economy everywhere, there must always be some challenges factors and moments things may not really work out as expected, yet through this some still find an opportunity investing in bitcoin because they realized the future found in doing so, instead of things getting more worse, you have the better results in your financial economy if investments in bitcoin is made over the years, you can't have same experience with how others do when they are more concentrated on fiat economy.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 22, 2023, 12:25:24 PM
If you want to start a business from these cheap coins then you must know about their advertising.

Both the advertisement and every other efforts rendered in doing this kind of business resulted to wasted efforts, in most cases it doesn't work any longer as before as a means of making money online, maybe you could get yourself more technical skills in other aspects because faucets now is just a recommendation for those coming newly to the technology of cryptocurrency to learn from doing something by starting somewhere.

First of all you need to be well versed with the coin and know in detail when it will be profitable to invest in it.

What else do you want to research or make enquiry on when it's all about scam in most of the cases from the ones existing, presently, faucet should be treated as a learning ground and not a means to make business and make money because it isn't working as before as people have lost trust in them.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Revolution with Bitcoin and Feasibilities on: August 22, 2023, 10:49:23 AM
No need for any revolution OP.

I hope you're not getting me wrong, am not saying that i support revolution neither am i saying it's coming in place or some people are in plan over it tgat i know, from the topic, it says, financial revolution with bitcoin and feasibilities, we are only engaging in it discussion comparing how possible, what meane, and the way forward to go over it, there have been also several opinions on what revolution means from political and economical perspectives respectively.

What BTC stands for is as clear for everyone to see, just as fiat currency stands to serve the need of a means of exchange for goods or services in a region.

Now i think you're getting it right, business success is already a revolution itself to the current financial and centralized economy controlled by governments.

1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 12:06:08 PM
I don't know where some gamblers are getting their confidence from, do you know that online casinos can keep rejecting your ID after you made some high amount of money? Some people cares about winning first before passing KYC, it's cool you believe that you won't always win but the luck comes when we least expected.

You can provide your KYC requirements before or after you've won while gambling and doesn't stop the casino recognizing your information provided except they are not trusted gambling platform, submission for KYC also does not make a gambler win or loose, it's the luck for winning that matters.

Imagine winning and you find it hard to pass KYC, trapping your money on the casino for like ever.

A reputable casino will not do that, maybe some are not providing adequate ad required documents needed for the casino tobe satisfied with.
1045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Important to know: Difference Coin / Token and shady marketing practices on: August 21, 2023, 10:52:48 AM
Most people don't have the understanding of the difference between coin and tokens, they feels they are all under cryptocurrency and should be treated thesame way, maybe those that have invested long time ago in tokens make the chance in having the opportunity to earn from it while after then, many other people were creating their own tokens as to compete with others to make money and there increasing the rate of scam among them, same applies to digital coins, after bitcoin was introduced, many other have joined in making a copy of same and we begin to have unlimited offers thereby increasing it scam also, if you think you need rest around your crypto investment, then go decentralized and privately own bitcoin as your digital currency, researching about altcoins is not enough to stay safe, they are unpredictable atimes.
1046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to smell fraud in projects and detect Ponzi schemes from far as a Newbie on: August 21, 2023, 10:19:57 AM
Under pressure to rush things:

That's true, most of the scam projects tends to make offers in haste to people who will jump into their investment without making a proper research also, they will be so quick and fast about it in convincing you to rush in your decision knowing that we are desperate in making an investment that is profitable, it they take it slow or give you enough breathing space, you might have been hint about them to be a scam and have a change of mind.

Unregistered company and short time website duration:

When looking out on this, we need to be very careful because some scam projects will also take the commitment to register their website to convince you the more, most of the passed experience on scam aren't only from the unregistered platforms alone, what they tend to steal from their illicit means from investors is far better than the cost they will render in getting their registration approval.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Revolution with Bitcoin and Feasibilities on: August 21, 2023, 09:41:11 AM

Although bitcoin is a store if hold in a long term but people are not looking to that direction.

Change is what the people want and if you look at the whole picture of how bitcoin was introduced from the start, the people were the main target in giving them financial alternative the government couldn't.

I saw this reference online and have been hearing some people's conversations lately for likely possibilities whereby a time will come bitcoin will need a revolution, I don't support such neither do i think there's a need for such to ever happen, but bringing it here also to hear other's view and contributions towards it.

My question is how do this people intend to carryout this revolution? It is through force or constitutional means. Do they intend to take up arms and overthrow the government and install a more Bitcoin-friendly government? Or they want to use democratic means like peaceful protest, legislative lobbying, and other constitutional means. Going through democratic means to promote Bitcoin awareness and adoption should be the path of every true Bitcoiner. But using other means that will involve violence or conflict to force the government to change its negative view toward Bitcoin is not necessary now. If the people know the importance of bitcoin, they will embrace it and when the government knows that Bitcoin can contribute positively to the economy of the nation, they will willingly adopt it.

If you consider the kind of government rule we are into the century, it's all about democracy and everyone has their right on public opinion in which birth to the choice we make in deciding for the yse of bitcoin even when fiat is only recognized by the government, if people should wage war against the government on this by physical means through the kind of political revolution, the government will fight back against the people with soldiers and there will be casualties, bitcoin is already making its revolution by itself as people continue with it adoption or use as a financial economy digital currency, protest or any form of violent should be avoided.

Op, I agree with you that Bitcoin isn't waging a revolution against anyone, but is merely something that provides a financial alternative to traditional means of payment. People who use Bitcoin come from all sorts of backgrounds and with various attitudes. Some are pro-government, some are anarchist, some are Bitcoin maximalists, some just view it as a promising asset. Bitcoin can be many things and can be used for the purposes of revolutions, but it doesn't make a person committed to revolution.
That being said, something can be revolutionary in a sense of scientific revolutions, life-changing inventions. And Bitcoin can be called revolutionary in that sense, without requiring an actual revolution.

Thank you for this information and contribution, i think the reality to picture out here is that bitcoin itself being in existence is a revolutionary threats to the government itself and needs no longer any form of political action to revolutionize the system in avoiding them to use force against every bitcoin holders or users, a time is coming whereby the use of bitcoin would have revolutionized the entire economy and governments themselves will have i further option than to either support what the people want or watch it going unaffected.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCountry - A Hybrid of Traditional and Digital Nations Decentralized State Ex on: August 21, 2023, 09:09:49 AM
Nice move but I don't think you're hitting the exact point here with morr emphasis, are you actually suggesting a country that go will support a digital decentralized currency and in which regards here, bitcoin or another form of newly introduced digital currency aside bitcoin? All i know for now is that bitcoin is the only decentralized solution to digital currency in cryptocurrency, countries were already adoption it, what your bitcountry is here to offer which is different from bitcoin is what is not clear here, but i know that bitcoin remains the best offer the people needs today.

How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

Anyone can have a dream on gambling regardless of what the situation is, some believed that we are more liable to dream about what we taught about overnight because such often occur in our conscious and subconsciousness which make us to dream about them while sleeping also because our mind is on them, on the contrary, some also believed that when they had a dream about gambling, it's an indication for them to win or have a better experience with gambling within that same period, we should just be aware that dream will always be and are sometimes far from the reality.

Moreover, second-hand mining machines might currently alleviate the significant financial budget I have in mind for my future plans.

Wisdom is profitable, before one should begin any project for a start, it's very important to have sat down analyzing the cost of running it and check on the other conditions attached to it as well as before starting, running a mining rig requires alot of set-ups requirements and one have to consider the cost to having these machines and equipment with their availability for startups, your decision on this is not bad anyway for now.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Revolution with Bitcoin and Feasibilities on: August 19, 2023, 08:57:02 AM
People know how bitcoin is very volatile and they will not want to go for it.

Isn't the volatility part of the reason they should rather go for bitcoin because it renders opportunities for investors to come in, also come to think of it this way how we have bitcoin global adoption this far with it market cap where it is today, people know that bitcoin is volatile and want it like that because in so doing lies their own opportunity for making profits if invested, you can also see from how everyone had target on bullrun coming soon next year, yet bitcoin adoption keep increasing globally.

Although bitcoin is a store if hold in a long term but people are not looking to that direction.

Change is what the people want and if you look at the whole picture of how bitcoin was introduced from the start, the people were the main target in giving them financial alternative the government couldn't.

Financial Revolution with Bitcoin and Feasibilities

•     What is Revolution?

This is an act whereby the people massively go against the rule of government policies through agitation, parading all over the nation for a change over the economy and financial way of administration whereby the people kicked against and fight for a change, you can further research more on revolution from this https://www.dictionary.com/browse/revolution

•     Do we need Revolution for Bitcoin?

I've heard about some people saying that very soon they are going to lead a massive protests against fiat for bitcoin adoption, this is aimed to fight against the government for bitcoin financial adoption and some are retereiting this same fact that they want to go on revolution, but why need for that?

We should know that Bitcoin is not a contender of any currency or the government because engaging financial revolution was not the aim or reason why Satoshi created a decentralized network, bitcoin is meant to serve as an alternative means of making payments by the people who think using fiat is not fare enough for their privacy and trust, bitcoin is not waging war against the government or pursuing after revolution.

We don't need to fight for bitcoin, it's self defensive because it provides the people with the satisfaction they needed in finances, time will make significance on preference made by the people over their financial economy, the more we move the better the chances for government to join in support for bitcoin adoption and not by revolution.

1055  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcointalk is censoring my topics on: August 18, 2023, 05:03:54 PM
My previous post got deleted, it seems bitcointalk is protecting these big scammers.

I don't know how you get this impression from but i think you're totally having a misconception somewhere else, deleted posts is mostly hadled by moderators, what else do you want to know other than this.

I am looking for more information about the scammer Sara Leppänen, I have exported all her Facebook friends, what do would be the next step? Hiring somebody who contacts every one of them and ask about the whereabouts of her?

Looking at your topic and the first paragraph of your post, it creates an impression that you are on an attack mission against the forum for your deleted post, but to my surprise is seing that this has swindles back to the main target for the creation of this content over the scam related issues, maybe you should follow the required procedures as you've been advised to get this right on your accusation
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling discussion effect on: August 18, 2023, 04:37:08 PM
What’s the effect of gambling discussion here to you? I’m thinking to quit participating on signature campaign that involves gambling discussion in an event that my gambling activities is increasing above my normal habit.

It brings in more exposure for us as gamblers, we learn through bthe process, we have experience in difference occasions of what happened to others in gambling, we learn to take risk, have gambling tips, advise and suggestions related to what we do while gambling, we also receives recommendations on reputable gambling organizations, this brings us more closer to having more understanding about gambling, signature campaign participation does not have anything to do with increasing your gambling addiction or have a negative effect since the organizations you're promoting aren't forcing you to participate in bettings on their website.
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 18, 2023, 04:12:44 PM
The idea is not new; casinos like these exist nowadays. It is popular, but I believe that it could become even more popular in the coming years. Anonymity and privacy are among the most sought-after features for some gamblers, especially within the crypto space. Personally, I would appreciate having this feature, as it offers seamless transactions in and out. However, this would pose another challenge for governments to address. If they do not agree with this idea, we can expect them making announcements to ban these web3 sites.

The government has no decision in making their choice here since they are going to go decentralized, most of the cases whereby government make much interfering to their decision is when they are centralized and being regulated by government, with how things are going today with the digital development in cryptocurrency, gambling is not what the government should have much say in making decisions on how the casinos should operate.
1058  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: USDT better pass domiciliary account on: August 18, 2023, 03:13:47 PM
As we dey see our naira dey drop the symbol of our currency just dey dey worthless every day many people won turn to foreign currency at all cost and the way to do so for this country na to have domiciliary account if you one leave your money for bank or you fit use your niara go buy US dollar keep which I no advice, it's risky keeping money especially if the money dey huge.

Any consciouss minded businessman will always avoid having his money on local currency because of devaluation over time, if you also have them in USDT it's somehow fair in the sense that it will appreciate over time on your local currency being devaluated while the worth is also affected by inflation with that same USD, but the best way to store or hold your finances today is with bitcoin in cryptocurrency.

I never trust our banking system for one dey but the urge to get my money out of niara propelled me to going to get domiciliary account but the shege I see during the process no be here. The demands come they tire me and this na my money we dey talk about here, I still got it but I come reason say it's not worth the struggle and time and effort, and e just be like say I don give my money to the government and them fit freeze am anytime they want.

Having a domiciliary account is not the final solution to financial economy and it's challenges in dealing with centralized financial institutions, first is that they require a high maintenance fee for account, ATM card and transaction fees, bitcoin wallet does not have any of this issues as a problem, the more a decentralized network is needed while banks in any form aren't the solution to this by any chance.
1059  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: WHICH WAY NIGERIA? on: August 18, 2023, 02:46:10 PM
Do we really have any business with being a poor nation? How did we become the poverty capital of the world?

Have you taken your time in considering other countries around the world or maybe you shouldn't go too far and maintain within the scope of Africa alone and see how people are really suffering than you think your country is, for how long are we going to keep blaming the government for their failures when we have the two bare hands to work and till the ground to source out for what we need and even have others benefits from it, can the country make everyone rich at the same time? even if everyone should be given millions of naira it does not end people's problem, they will still be in lack, it's more of we changing our mentality for dependency and work things out for our sustainability.

The Nigerian system is prone to manipulation as the foundation is flawed. This is the reason external forces do interfere with the elections processes to ensure that the worst of the people are installed into power. So, how do we change the narrative? Does it mean there is no hope?

There's hope, but are are we sure that even you yourself is not leaving your own role vacant for others to derive benefits from, or if you're there, wouldn't you worse? enough of complaining and let's start doing something.
