1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction was confirmed, then unconfirmed on blockchain.info on: July 17, 2014, 02:05:29 PM
I don't know about orphaned/UN-orphaned blocks too much, can you explain in simpler terms, or just tell me after how many confirmations a transaction cannot be unconfirmed?

On the simpler side, you should wait for a minimum of one. If it is of larger value accordingly, then wait up to 6.
To answer your question, we must get technical, and there is no valid answer, as an attacker can have an alternative unbroadcasted blockchain as long as he wants.

what is a agorithm i dont understand i new i ocnfused what is sha 265 and i dont know write scripts careful spelling

Please use google. An algorithm is an algorithm. Try reading the series of basic guides on CoinDesk. SHA-256 and scrypt (Yes, it's spelt with a Y) are coin algorithms, although there are many others. GPUs can mine all of them, while ASICs can only mine one.
so what i mine can? so my r9 280x is gpu, mine all, what block erupter, fury

Your Gridseed can mine both SHA-256 and scrypt, your block erupter USBs SHA-256, Your fury scrypt, your GPU anything.
Use sgminer, cgminer and bfgminer. Read tutorials.

ok thanks
should i buy butterfly labs they have good hardware 600

NO. Butterfly Labs is the worst ASIC manufacturer, they never ship on time and they mine with your hardware. They even bought a site for a 5 figure amount just to delete negative reviews.

1044  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: July 17, 2014, 01:47:26 PM
***Dear miners, we are approaching 39.99% of the Bitcoin hashrate. Please, move your mining hardware to other pools. Thank you for understanding!***

Dear Ghash.io and Cex.io, please stop being a huge retard, or maybe you're doing it on purpose, I don't know.
If you actually want to take an effort in bringing your hashrate below 39.99%, you can simply refuse connection for new miners. That's it. It isn't even that difficult to implement. Constantly posting messages and making announcements doesn't help at all.
1045  Economy / Lending / Re: 5.3 BTC Loan on: July 17, 2014, 01:44:49 PM
I just found this item on cryptothrift and it is only 5.3 bitcoins right now! I was wondring if I could have a loan to get it. I googled it and it said that it is worth 6500 dollars but right now the price is at 3250 so i could resell it and pay back the loan.

You. Are. Such. A. Genius.

Thanks. Why should someone even give you a loan even if this product is real and worth it? If I had 5.3 BTC, I can simply buy it with my own money and resell it to make a profit, why should I trust some random guy that has scammed another for 1 BTC?

1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov't + Bitcoin Foundation = 25% of all Bitcoins confiscated? on: July 17, 2014, 01:40:31 PM
There are already a couple of alt clients, no one would adopt this new client, especially considering that less than 50% of the nodes are actually from the U.S.

All I see are centralized clients. Is there any Bitcoin-QT alternative local client as of yet ?

You can build it from source yourself if you have the know-how. It's basically Bitcoin Core and QT right now, although many exchanges use modified versions of them.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: fury gpu asic on: July 17, 2014, 01:14:17 PM
i have a fury a gridseed a r9 280x and some bolck eupters. how i get them work good together

Depending on what algorithms you want them to run on, you would do it differently. I don't know how to use a gridseed on SHA-256 though, maybe someone else can help.
You would install the drivers, plug in the gridseed to your computer, and run a cgminer (3.7.2 is the latest that supports scrypt) and run another instance of cgminer/bfgminer to mine with the block erupters on SHA-256. (I'm assuming they are Block Erupter USBs?)
Cheesy

I'm actually a newbie and I spent six hours on your forum and I believe that I will become a hero member soon. Hope that I will change this sweet BTC community.

I really don't think so, lol. If I did the calculation correctly, it will take you more than a year, 476-480 days.
And if you're not active every week, then even more time.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov't + Bitcoin Foundation = 25% of all Bitcoins confiscated? on: July 17, 2014, 01:06:48 PM
OP just no. So you're saying if me and a few corrupt devs implant some doomsday code for Bitcoin it would be accepted?  Cheesy
TBF doesn't control the code, how would they?

Even if all the devs become corrupt and make some code, it wouldn't work. Once it is discovered by someone reading the source code, miners and nodes would revert back to an earlier version, therefore making the new version with the doomsday code useless.
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you only buy with bitcoin? on: July 17, 2014, 01:03:51 PM
I don't know, probably you should head off to Silk Road Smiley
But the cool think about buying with Bitcoin is the p2p experience without any taxes or middle involved. Of course, most people don't want to buy shit with BTC because they are scared to spend it now as it may go higher in the future. This is a problem. The only people doing steady BTC buys are I think, people that is rich on BTC.

It's also quite easy to buy products that Silk Road sells with cash, mainly because it's untraceable and anonymous.
However, there are some things that you can buy exclusively with Bitcoin, such as WoodWallets or Keychains from woodwallets.io. I believe that there are also other homemade products that can only be bought with Bitcoin.

waiting for my first payout Smiley

after that, do i have to Enrolling again right now or i should have to wait the payout?

You can continue posting and it will count for the next month, and you don't need to re-enroll.
1053  Other / Meta / Re: How do you Hero members of this forum feel when you look newbies! on: July 17, 2014, 12:51:55 PM
I like it when they get it. I help when they don't. I dislike it when they think Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme. I can't stand it when they are rude, demanding, or entitled. I hate it when they think Bitcoin requires no work.

I agree. There's just too many people coming here and screaming to know how they can mine to get rich, and it isn't. It is an amazing concept and technology, destined to replace fiat, and not to get rich quickly and easily. Too many newbies are coming and asking how to mine, thinking that by leaving their crappy PC on they will get rich.
1054  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX launches world's first Bitcoin Debit Card powered by an exchange on: July 17, 2014, 12:47:08 PM

1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Groceries PLEASE!!! on: July 17, 2014, 12:44:19 PM
ANXPRO has a debit card that will allow you to pay for your groceries with bitcoins, I'd assume that you'd like to know more.
No bank accounts involved, so you should really check it out. You can pay for literally everything that accepts VISA.

1057  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rbox Fan failure on: July 17, 2014, 12:28:12 PM
If it doesn't overheat, then it's fine. If needed, get a cheap fan and stick it on top or at the side.
1058  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: request for payment on: July 17, 2014, 12:26:27 PM
please make new ability -
request for payment - it's transaction with negative amount
for example:

addr_from = my addr, for request payment
amo = -0.033
addr_to = addr of my client

this transaction not included in blockhain but rertranslated to p2p network

my client receive this transaction and see that in table "requested payments"

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=114712.msg7887450#msg7887450

It isn't that easy. People can get spammed, the network can get DoSed, and the person that receives such a request has no obligation to pay. You can simply contact him/her through another way and ask him/her to pay.
