Quão falsos estes tipos conseguem ser. "to support their safe adoption"...

exato!

1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 04, 2023, 01:00:24 PM
~snip~
I don't think Messi will just leave football... The World Cup is three years away, that's not much time... Although it would probably be nice for him to retire from football after his team won the cup last year... If Messi stays in the national team, it's not certain they can win in 2026... And this championship will definitely be his last... I can't assume anything about Ronaldo... He was going to leave a long time ago... But he still plays every time...

Messi currently has a contract with Inter Miami until December 2025... that sounds like he will retire by then, and not play the world cup in 2026.

Basically it looks like he's just getting as much money as he can right now and then ride into the sunset.

Maybe he will just continue doing ads, but I reckon he won't be playing professional football in 2026.

If Lionel Messi wanted to get as much money as he can while he is still active in the sport then I he could've joined the team where CR7 is with because that contract was worth a staggering $450 Million compared to what Inter Miami gave to him which is only $60 Million per year and that will only last for two years.

So, that's not really the case and while searching for the answer of that question, it seems that Messi just wanted a calmer life and a lot of time with his family.

I think Messi has a lot of money without these contracts... I think you are right that he just needs a quiet life... Lots of players have gone to America at the end of their careers... Maybe after that Messi will start a coaching career... But still I don't think Messi will be able to help Argentina at the next World Cup...

what we see in Brazil is that the best players usually go play in teams of europe
of course
because there are better salaries (better earning in euro than in brazilian reais)
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: July 04, 2023, 12:51:03 PM
I always failed when I tried, which is why I prefer dice over slots. I followed this guy called "That's Profit" on TikTok, and most of his uploads are a loss. Even when Eddie is playing on Saturday. The majority of his plays are likewise negative. The only good thing about slots is that it is entertaining to watch while others play. I tried Pragmatic slots a few months ago since I saw someone mention their slots are good, and the outcomes were the same, negative.
If you experience a loss at one provider, you can try another provider because our luck will come to another provider. I often switch slot game providers, especially if I have lost from one provider, even though I have tried other games on the same provider. We also don't need to stick around and play slots at only one provider because each casino has many providers, and we are free to choose. Apart from that, by playing at various providers, we can find other interesting gambling games so that this can be even more fun. But be careful. This can get you addicted because you want to try slot games one by one from various providers.

I don't think slots are supposed to be about winning... I tried playing slots once, but I ended up losing more than winning... I guess it's just entertainment for those who want to spend some money... Most likely it doesn't depend on the provider, because the casino will always be with the profits and not you... It's rare that someone has managed to win a good amount at slots...

what are the odds of winning in slots? 0.5%? maybe less
probably really small, you'll have to roll lots of times or be really lucky to make bank playing it

have you ever won any slot game?

What kind of esports you bet on? Around 15 years ago I was a counter-strike fan, but things are more different now. Previously it was like 2-3 top teams and the rest. It wasnt hard to make predictions during preliminary stage. Current esports is completely different. I mean how can I even make a prediction, despite trusting bookie? With strategies it is more or less clear, Asians are like gods there. But how to tell who is stronger in CS:GO or Dota2 ?
I mostly bet on Dota 2 matches, but I'm also considering Valorant and CS:GO. Nowadays, esports has become more competitive compared to the last 5 or 10 years. Underdog teams are winning more frequently, which complicates the betting process as there are now more factors to consider. I'm not an expert at determining which team is stronger, but I usually rely on individual talent and how teams maneuver around the map based on their previous games.

I should probably explore more the duelbits website
until this day I had no idea they had esports betting
that's good to know

interesting

are there any things and games you miss in their website?

Podes orientar, guiar, sugerir, aconselhar.

Talvez ele esteja certo.

it's definitely better to stay with websites that have some reputation like roobet and duelbits
even with the KYC, if you don't mind sending your documents you know that this will be a website that will respect your wins and is unlikely to scam you

lower risk
Yes that's true, but sometimes there are people who still object to sending their documents and doing KYC, I won't say they are wrong, because maybe we have different views on this matter, and it is their right whether they want to or not to submit their documents.
But now we can find KYC requirements on almost all trusted casino sites, maybe there are some who still don't treat it, but I think that over time maybe it will become the thing we encounter most often, and conversely sites that haven't treated KYC will rarely be ours. meet, that is my view for now.

well, if you enter someone's else house you have to abide by their rules
roobet has KYC and can require it at any time so users should be aware of it before anything else if yhey want to use the website.
@bitmover

outro fator nessa equação é a velocidade joker

interesting
having prizes for certain progress reached (like 1000 slots games played let's say) can be a good incentive for users to keep playing
but as you mentioned, it's tricky, this can help trigger addiction
You always need to remember that chasing victory will only make you suffer losses and of course you need a large capital if you have to play 1000 slots in a certain period of time.
Even though the prize is attractive, you also have to take everything into account, is it worth it and is it worth the risk that you can accept at any time.
But actually it's not difficult if you have more money and are able to accept all the risks.

I once entered a slot game contest to get a prize but in reality I lost more than my set amount and in the end got nothing because I lost to those who could play longer to have the biggest multiplier.

that's true
sometimes it's better to simply stop after some wins and taking a break, chilling, doing other things

you know one thing that help me a lot to take a break from the dopamine sinks (like social media and videogames)?
exercising

this is the point!
I believe the same, it's much better to use your energy constructively in the world than to employ it in a destructive way
after all, some say that there is no bad marketing... even if you bad mouth your competitor this may have the opposite effect of what you expected and blow up in your face, by making their name more available in people's memories, as an example.
Sometimes, some methods of marketing are actually bad strategy most especially in this type of marketing where a competitor tries to discredit the effort of their fellow business colleague all to adopt the clients if their weak devices of bad-mouthing kill their opponent's business.

I have seen a few scenarios play out that way I several times, but I am sure this method can not work on an established platform like Duelbits since the casino already build a good and loyal community for the business over the years and anything negative will take time before it can work and most time they don't work anyway so this marketing strategy is a failed attempt already.

in the long run those who are focused and keep building simply... win!
this is what we see with duelbits and roobet here in the forum
they provide a good service and are running campaigns for more than 100 weeks each now

this is more than 2 years with frequent presence.
it's good

1072  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 30, 2023, 12:15:13 PM
well , that is completely correct , just play in legit and best casinos like roobet and you will face nothing but happiness and enjoying and even if you lose? at least there is a smile in your face going home because you are contented with the result win or lose.
The main concern is not loss but win because if you lost any bet the funds are gone for you but if you win then only legit casinos will let you withdraw them to your address without any restrictions after you comply with regulations if they have any like KYC but if you choose any scam casino then your funds are completely lost even if you win so choose wisely.
Roobet is exceptional, aside from being one of the best crypto casino today they are also generous when it comes to their marketing strategy and yeah playing with them can be rewarding too. I don't know why many are still dealing with the scam site and trust them with all their funds, again its better to play on a more established site than to try any site especially the new one.
Indeed, how can we possibly gamble in gambling when we try to play on casino sites that don't have a good reputation. What I mean by gambling within gambling is, we hope for something certain with gambling sites, isn't that the same as gambling?
It would be nice if we still avoid something that does not have very high trust. Now there are many gambling sites that have proven to have a good reputation, including one of them, Roobet. And we just have where we will play, rather than trying something new that is very likely to deceive us.

it's definitely better to stay with websites that have some reputation like roobet and duelbits
even with the KYC, if you don't mind sending your documents you know that this will be a website that will respect your wins and is unlikely to scam you

exactly, specially here in the forum duelbits has so much track record and so many comments of users who are happy with their services that it makes no sense to try to burn their image without proof

I don't know why they keep trying
Most of the casinos face these types of issues where people try to put fake allegations against the team just because they have lost money and then think they can ruin their reputation with these such accusations but forget the casino will have all the vaild proofs against them and they end up gaining nothing out of it at last.
But with Duelbits answering legit issues? addressing if they find it has a valid point? but those fake claims ? there is no need for answer because that is only a waste of time . and also regular players of this site is answering and proving those fake allegations are not true , because who can truly prove the legitimacy of this site? those are the people that already experienced the quality of Duelbits service over the years.
They respond to only those claims which have some evidence to backup not to those each fake claims because if they do so then there would be spam rush with lot of threads from those players who are unable to handle themselves and lost money but would start blaming duelbits or any casino for the same so they don't waste time for these.
At this point, most casino doesn't waste time of claims that are made out of irrelevancy and misinformation this is because on multiple occasions this user have made multiple attackers on reputable casinos and we know some of them are sponsored by competitors which this is a bad marketing strategy.
Because instead employing accounts to attack competitors why not concentrate on building a reputation that can sustainable strategy voids of attacks to competitors, the thing is that casinos will only resolve issues with valid proofs and not just baseless statements.

this is the point!
I believe the same, it's much better to use your energy constructively in the world then to employ it in a destructive way

1075  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 29, 2023, 03:24:31 PM

I disagree
if you're aiming to a higher number of crypto users twitter is still probably a better option than bitcointalk
though as mentioned here there's a more technical user base and so many OGs.

It will vary depending on the company strategy and user profile

Twitter has a lot more users and will have more users that are interested in crypto but how many are active in crypto gambling, that is a specific niche? The benefit that this forum has, allthough the userbase is a lot less than Twitter, Facebook,... is that there are here a lot more people with an interest in gambling already, which is also the public that you want to target. Everybody that is active on the gambling threads is always interested in new casinos to try it out so it makes sense to promote on the forum.

when we're talking about specific niches marketing will always work as a funnel
there are much more users interested in crypto than users interested in crypto gambling
from the former bigger user base some may not be interested YET but get interested after seeing ads and learning more about it

there's an useful model for advertising called AIDA

attention
intention
desire
action

I still haven't found anyone using AI like this but I'm sure people must be doing it.  Is anyone aware of any reddit posts or other places that people may be discussing different prompts they are using to try and do this sort of gambling?  I'm very tempted to do some sort of thread documenting the success of AI in gambling decisions, but so far I haven't found a good method to do so.  Hopefully I get it figured out before the NBA season starts again.  It would be cool to start doing some fun stuff with AI when that time rolls around again.

you can find some stuff doing a quick twitter search

but you are right, there's not much content online yet
maybe in a couple months the trend will get more crowded

you know what they say too, less people, more opportunities, possibly.

https://www.deco.proteste.pt/investe/investimentos/criptomoedas/analises/2023/06/regulamento-mica-o-que-muda-nas-criptomoedas-a-partir-de-2024

Higuita was one of the few players that understood that this is not only a sport but also a spectacle that people watch, and if the players do not make it exciting then people will find other things to do with their time, some may argue that his antics risked scores against his team, but the fans loved him precisely because he was willing to take some crazy risks just for them to be entertained, unfortunately there are not many players like him anymore on the world of soccer these days.

Yeah, it is an spectacle basically.

The players that are most entertaining are usually the ones that are most respected and loved by the people, even if their skills are not that great.

The same is true in reverse. It doesn't matter if a player skill is incredible if there's not charisma from the player. People won't like that player as much.

What do you understand as charisma? Wink

Ronaldo hasn't been charismatic. Zidane has been charismatic (except for his head kick against Italy). They can also be polarizing and still contribute to the spectacle.

But in reverse a player that is burdened with high expectations can also create a lot of disappointment. What would people have said if Messi didn't win the World Cup? He would be called a loser, incomplete star. There are very fine lines when it comes to how people treat the players.

Argentina is a very special country where everyone is crazy about football and nothing is recognized as success except winning the world cup. Any other result is a disaster and a failure, and so it is in Brazil. It is very difficult to play under such enormous pressure from the public, and this can be seen in the example of Brazil and Argentina. Brazil has not been able to become the world champion for 20 years, and Argentina managed to become the world champion after a long 36-year wait.
Messi was also constantly compared to Maradona and it was said that he could not be the greatest Argentinian footballer in history if he failed to lead the national team to the world title. That was a huge pressure even for a football player like Messi. I think that winning the South American cup title before the world cup in Qatar helped him a lot and that he played in Qatar with less pressure.
Messi is a charismatic footballer and one of the best footballers in the history of football, but for me personally Maradona was still better. He practically single-handedly led Argentina to the title of world champion in 1986 and no one has ever been able to repeat that, such individual dominance in such a team sport.

about Brazil, there's a point too that in 2002 Brazil's team was much better than the teams that came afterwards
of course this counts too

since them we had 5 cups...
yes, it's been a while.

let's see what happens in the next one

pergunta bem interessante
