1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: December 28, 2023, 09:22:39 PM
In my opinion, it is the players who will lose a lot, not the host. Of course the host will always win in this case, because I personally think that in gambling there are bookies who have arranged everything well, and they will not let just anyone win, because when they hold gambling the aim is to generate their own profits, lots of the person who gambles and loses is an advantage for the host. and even if someone gets a big win, maybe it's also because luck is on their side.
Of course, it is impossible to get profits continuously, especially in gambling, in my opinion this is very rare. because if it's like that, it's possible that the host who owns the gambling casino will go bankrupt and for example, if there is a person like this in a physical casino, he always gets profitable winnings. In my opinion, the casino will not remain silent, they will suspect that person why he can always win. profitable victory, and this will be an oddity for the hosts. gamblers who always get profitable wins from gambling in my opinion is impossible.
The thought of making a steady profits from gambling is the road to possible addiction or even grave loses at the end,  this is because,  alot of time many of those who have chosen to chase that direction have ended up losing,  and for sure if care is not taken the run into debt and that will take away every sense of success from them, gambling both to the gambler and the casino is a win some and lose some game,  as long as you have the ability to control what you chose to gamble with is enough to stay that way,  and since gambling is filled with unpredictably,  it's now a fact that we may not see anyone gambler who can be referred to as successful.

But to say who between the player vs the casino lose the most,  then I will say the player but also casinos lose as well but it's a business, any ways and gamblers know that the house edge is always there to favour the casino on the long run.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Deposit Bonus List on: December 28, 2023, 09:12:32 PM
Really are you in any way part of the team that runs that casino, from the look of things,  you only mentioned just one casino in your messages and you mentioned I was thinking and looking forward to seeing a list of casinos that offer those no-deposit bonuses.

If you are part of the team then you should create an ANN thread if you think your casino is worth taking a look at by forum members,  and also you forgot to mention,  what are the conditions of these bonuses,  as in how many wagering will one have to do before being able to withdraw from the casino.
1063  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 28, 2023, 09:03:11 PM

Even if the same strategy is used, no matter the casino/betting/Forex/crypto, by two or more different people the result will always be different. When you lose, when you find out why you lost, the FoMO effect always arises, this is what makes the player return to the game again and again.

Yes this is right because a gambler always have the believe that that factor that made him lose will revert back and if he is not there to wait and take back his own share, then he would have missed it by the time it gives back. So the gambler is always in such mistake by prempting his games especially in soccer where a team has serially lost a match back to back and some people will bet them to win where they are even seeing that the team has not been put to other but they are betting and guessing instead of looking at the performance of previous matches, head to head etc.
That has happened to me some time ago,  I think that was in the Saudi pro leagues,  where I thought that due to a team recent failure their will win a match and even though the team was up against another smaller team who's the defeated easily in the last season,  but in this round,  I was surprise that the club lost and worst still the conceded multiple goals in the match.

This thought me a great lesson and never to trust or speculate too much on a club,  because their can disappoint at any point in time,  so any gambler that make the mistake to think in that line of thought will also lose and at multiple time until he decides to have the right mentality towards the whole gambling thing and how best to handle it.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest Low Cap altcoins for next bull run on: December 28, 2023, 08:40:09 PM
During every bullrun one or two coins show 100x or more hype. But not all the same coins show hype during bullruns. So it is almost impossible to predict which one will turn into a gem during the next bullrun. Many low marketcap altcoins can turn into shitcoins.
But if you want you can target MATIC, LINK, LTC, XMR for next bull run.
Nice outline there,  even though it is impossible to predict which coin will 100x in the bull run,  we have some of them that we can still easily see the tendency of a market rise when and if the bull run happens,  just as you pointed out several good altcoins Matic and dogecoin are the only two coins in my collection right now,  and there is nothing for now that can change my mind about them.

Your list is so convincing that it's trying to give me a second thought and to give one of those coins you listed a chance but due to my past experience and the decision not to hold too many coins in my portfolio I will look away for now,  but I have to commend you that you have a great list as preferred coins.
1065  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Christmas Bonuses - Suggestions Anyone? on: December 28, 2023, 08:31:12 PM
Sure at Newcryptocasinos.com we have bonuses all year around

What a nice offer to see you have to your humble customers in this seasonal period of festive celebrations, many gamblers are looking for opportunities in this regard to serve them right and earn bonuses to keep up with the season, but you could do yourself more good to represent your gambling casino well by obtaining a copper membership rank, create your announcement thread and possibly engage in a signature campaign to make people here and the entire world know about your service.
Nice to see a casino coming in to announce their special bonuses in the festive season,  this is indeed a remarkable action that other casinos should copy from and indeed we are going to give them a try since its requirements are not so tit for us to beer with,  anyways my friend Dunamisx merry Xmas to you and happy holidays.

Hope you also will give that casino a try since their already come up with such offers in this celebration season also now that we all have free time with family it be nice to spare some time to try out new casinos such as this one.
1066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the only currency that has grown the most!! on: December 28, 2023, 06:39:56 PM
Present, there are many altcoins in the crypto market and they have grown a lot. But it has gone down and gone again, but Bitcoin is the only currency that hasn't gone down yet, instead it's going up. I've noticed that Bitcoin has grown the most over the past couple of days, but altcoins haven't grown as much in comparison. Currently, we see Bitcoin market above $44000, I think it will bring $45000 very soon. Will Bitcoin Touch $50,000 By This December?  What do you think about the way the Bitcoin market is currently growing?
Yeah Bitcoin has been able to sustain a steady movement and without exhibiting any sign of crash like the altcoins are doing and have done over time,  but then also we have to look at some factors that have also made Bitcoin investment not to be a palatable one for investors in some time of the year such as in the present time in the network.

We have experienced a lot of network crises in Bitcoin compared to other altcoins,  although some of the altcoins have insane network congestion and high fees,  but then since Bitcoin is the major focus of the industry, its network crises used to hit investors the most since they use it as the basis for analyzing other coins.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 28, 2023, 06:28:23 PM
This question triggered up my reflections ability to check what and how much I have been able to win since the year 2023 began and about to end now,  in all what I realize is that,  my loses is higher than my winning in total and that is because of the fact that I was gambling for the fun and not the profits any ways and that the reason I only gamble with what I can afford to forget easily.

But on record,  my highest winning was in sport bets,  when I won a total of $250 in Bitcoin with a stake of $10 this was my highest biggest win amount for the year and I can't forget that night that I was that lucky to have hit that jackpot.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 06:18:51 PM
Is it possible one can dodge KYC verification request after winning a big amount of money and decides not to withdraw a lump sum but bit by bit in smaller amounts. I have read many posts talking about how they wanted to withdraw the money they won but due to the amount they wanted to withdraw was big, they were asked  pass kyc verification because they never did when they first registered.
It's imaginary possible to withdraw bit by bit without haven't to reach the maximum threshold for kyc demands,  but then just know something and have peace,  be for you decide to play big on any casino,  just try as much as possible to read some of the reviews about the casino to see how stick their are with their kyc compliance and what are the manner of they operation when a gambler win big amount.

Because most of the casinos that we have around today are very active and once it mentioned on the terms and condition that there os a kyc demand,  once you win any tangible amount,  they automatically trigger you for kyc verifications,  this way it possible you get trap and won't be able to withdraw your winnings on the long run.
1069  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Christmas Bonuses - Suggestions Anyone? on: December 28, 2023, 05:34:11 PM
if you want to find out which casinos are having Christmas bonuses/promotions try checking the gambling site's ANN thread here in the forum, they usually post if they are having Christmas bonuses/promotions. also, I remember reading on crypto.games ANN thread that they are having daily challenges and giveaways as part of this month's Christmas bonuses/promotions.

That's true, the announcement discussion thread of all the available gambling platforms available on this forum could also be put into consideration, but I must make this in addition that OP should try as much as possible in reading through the conditions that comprise some of these offers before applying, bonus sometimes is nothing free because you will have to work your way out for it before being eligible.
Exactly because bonuses usually come with strong terms and conditions which make it almost impossible to profit from them,  and sometimes,  due to that condition,  many gamblers do not want to get involved with bonuses and will prefer to just deposit and play their own money.

But since Christmas is something that is widely celebrated and a lot of holidays are planned around that time,  it becomes good for some casinos to give their clients a condition-free bonus as a gift for the season.
1070  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: NAIJA BOARD 2023 ART CONTEST 24th DEC --- 31st on: December 28, 2023, 03:27:03 PM
My fellow judges
@Charles-Tim
@Mpamaegbu
@SatoPrincess
@wiwo
@Majestic-milf

Please let every commentary be done in the judge's private group and not in the comment session,  and also for the judges sure we have tools to check the authenticity of the artwork even though there is no submission of the (wip) which should have been a requirement but not a dead sentence.

The holidays are gradually winding up and we are back to work,  let see what we can come out with,  but to this point,  I haven't seen enough submissions yet,  is it that the members of our local board are not aware of the total equivalent value of the prize for the winner?

Both merits and funds reward may total up to #70,000 that a lot of money and I believe it will take a back-breaking task to earn it,  let see what you get fellows.
1071  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Mempool is congested, use ViaBTC free accelerator. on: December 27, 2023, 11:38:05 PM
ViaBTC free accelerator has exceeded it limits and not longer accepting new orders. Noticed it since this week, what other alternatives do we have left?
I have noticed this recently as well, you are not wrong. I have been unable to submit my txid since some days ago. As far as I know, there are  not alternatives for now. All alternatives are either fake or scam, while some will only keep rebroadcasting your transaction.

I may lock this thread soon.
Well before you look the thread let me input my best regards I have been following the thread since it started even though I haven't made any comments in this discussion but then it has been helpful for enlightenment purposes even though I haven't used a Bitcoin transactions accelerator since while now,  but still remains a pain in the ass knowing fully well that there is no other alternative to best this high transactions fees.

Since the only available free accelerator has stopped working,  are we now left at the mercy of those who are spamming the network to create the artificial connections that we are witnessing?

We have to remain positive in all things,  but the situation right now is no longer funny for Bitcoin users. E
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have we overlooked the many potentials of altcoins? on: December 27, 2023, 11:22:56 PM
that the fact the thing is that,  when it comes to scalability of the industry,  altcoins have done more in that directions more than bitcoin and the reason is that bitcoin is structured in such a way that it is hard to develop or implement a change without passing through all the procedures for that to happened,  which is why altcoin becomes best for an alternative.

You know some of these Alticoins were actually created or developed to solve some of the problems associated many devs feel bitcoin protocol hasn’t addressed. The number one thing is the scalability issue which tends to be a major problem on bitcoin network. One of the reasons why I think bitcoin Devs are reluctant on solving this problem like having to increase the block size is because it will temper with the decentralized protocol on which the bitcoin network is built upon, that’s why we see most Alticoins still been centralized. Not diminishing the importance of Altcoins been a very good alternative for payment but I feel they still do not have much transaction volume like bitcoin and that’s why we see them still very less congested and we thought they had solved scalability problems
I quite align with you on the low volume being the reason some of the altcoins networks are less congested at this moment,  because if you have taken steps back to when even other altcoins who are still experiencing high network congestion like Ethereum and other coins reason being that those ones already have some level of high volume and we can see the result of that on there network level of connections,  this have been the result of many of them,  but for now,  as low gem and a perfect alternatives,  those altcoins will continue to be used as an alternatives.

As at this time,  bitcoin is now best for an investment,  which can take a long term to get the best out of it,  but if being so then we can say that altcoins can best be used for daily transactions if they meet that requirement and are readily available at the point.

Of course,  decentralization vs centralization will meet at some point and find a balanced ground to co-exist for the betterment of all.
1073  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 27, 2023, 11:13:46 PM

For those games which are luck based then i would say that it is really that hard on beating up against the house, but if we do speak about strategic based then players could really be having that kind of chance. To those people who are really that able to win huge in luck based ones then they are really that considered to be extremely lucky on which it would really be just that normal that there would be those people who would be able to get out despite of those con's on dealing up too much with luck based ones. Going into the topic, when it comes to reviews and guides then it would be alwayds preferrable that information given where precise and correct and simply being honest. We have a couple of review and guide sites as of this moment on which i could say that its enough
and we dont really need even more.
I agree with that any luck base games have to rely heavily on the house and at most times,  the house always have the edge in those games and that the reasons why some times you record early winning in a roll,  it shows you that the house is in control of the out come of the results of the game,  and you can only win smaller amount and your loses ratio is always higher than your winning ratio,  and fhat how you will know the level at which the casino controls the games and it outcomes.

But in other games that require skills,  you have to battle the result out with the casino,  such as in football bets the results of the games are out of the control of the casinos and at that,  luck could play a little role in the winning and skills will have the major place at that point.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 27, 2023, 11:03:05 PM
I am not agreed about this if Al Ittihad had not red card match can end into draw because currently Al Ittihad is having serious decline in performance and their players moral is also down which is bringing them down after every defeat their defense is also not good which is already conceded 11 goals in last three games top players are also not able to perform as they were doing in early rounds all things are going against them with they needed to bring some fresh players for next half if they want to have better end of this season otherwise they can suffer badly for their this performance and inconsistency.
Now difference of quality is also having big difference which is keeping Al Hilal at the top and Al Nassr at the second spot Al Ittihad needs to be very competitive for the second half of the season for the better result.
You may be right is some ways on the ability or recent performance of AI Littihad because from their current standing you will already know that the club have hard a decline position if been compared to what it used to be,  but then also we can out rightly write off the impact of the red card on the teams in the last match,  because if you have been following up with the match you will see how both clubs struggle all through the first half to protect and guide the goals position,  up until the red card came in,  and it seems that breaks the camels back and then the flood gate was opens and at the end the where able to add more extra 3 goals making the match to end in a 2:5 goals.

Although AI Nassr is a big name in the pro leagues this season and besting them or even playing a draw game with them means a lot for many clubs in this season.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post Your Favorite Altcoin Post of 2023! on: December 27, 2023, 10:44:09 PM
I immediately saw this topic. I went through the altcoin discussion and found this topic very interesting. we should start looking into Altcoin. So sad the OP has been banned, but he shared insight on how liquidities have been moving from Bitcoin to other altcoins. And currently, this is what we are experiencing. Bitcoin fees are high, and transactions are slow. Altcoins is the only solution to this. And the OP took his time to mention a few altcoins that could be an alternative to Bitcoin while advising us to look into one or more.
So if the ops are banned why then do you submit the topics for the thread that started since he specifically said he wanted to award them and at the same time get a reflection on what has been discussed over the time he was away from the forum,  but then I can still agree that the thread shared a lot of insight which can be worth the reading but we have to avoid sharing such thread to someone who has been away for some time now to avoid mistakenly awarding banned user merit.

But all the same with the current situation in the network with the problem of network congestion, altcoins have become the latest focus point and at that, we are going to be seeing a lot of new discussions focused on altcoins and which one best serves our needs as alternatives to Bitcoin at some point.

Pain to see

How much odds you got from 10 parlay game ? First time to see members who are from bitcointalk share 10 games parlay and only one missed. It's really rare because most of these pain mosthly I see on twitter.

The odds for that 10 parlay game were 12.78

and I lost it, sadly. But look what a bet I won later

The odds were over 50.00! OMG, I'm so happy! I forgot to submit it for the Perfect 10 | Week 114 promo, but, honestly, my win is enough, innit? Smiley

Anyway, I'm going to participate in this one, [$2,500] Perfect 10 | Week 115| Sports, and I hope I won't forget to submit it, if I win.
Yeah you had a good time there with your high-risk multiple-game selections, you are still lucky to have won the bets with an amount of $1 staking to win such an amount.

I was not that lucky in my last night bet,  although my staked amount was bigger than yours which is the reason why I am so unhappy with the outcome of the bet since it didn't go in my favour after all the trials and risk,   but in your own case goi won your bet so congratulations for that and also looking forward to my lucky day again anytime soon.
1077  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The mental strength of Nigerian youths in the face of Hardship and pressure. on: December 27, 2023, 10:18:53 PM
Nigeria is blessed with all the resources in the world,  and the most important resources which is the human resources God also blessed Nigeria with it,  the problem now is bad leadership and this have been imposed on us by external factors and actors who have formulated a faulty structure for Nigeria,  this have made it hard for the efforts of the Nigeria resources be it human resource of any other material resources to show of proves to be a developmental tool that enhances the Nigeria economy.

The economy have failed which is one of the pointer to poor management and lack of capacity to managed or operates the economy,  this have made it hard for the ordinary Nigerain to fine things easy or to cope up with their reality, but still in still we strive for the best in any sector that we fine yourself and that become our motivation in the struggles.
1078  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 27, 2023, 10:10:07 PM
I am usually interested in the following points in reviews - whether you need to pass KYC, the speed of processing deposits and withdrawals, the retention rate, how fast cryptocurrency transactions, the set and features of games, how often the same players win, and how quickly the casino solves the problems of players
How often do the players win? Come on buddy we both know the house will always win once the casino is transparent with their game result. That's if there's a seed to provide for all games for verification about the casino's honesty with their game result there's no need to check the time players win when everything is about luck.
About the KYC, we are on the verge where 98% of all casinos have a tier for KYC based on user deposit and withdrawal amount.
The thing is that,  if a player is skilled more than the house,  there is possibility that he beat the has as often as possible and that can be say to be a basis for the mate statement on what he wants to see,  as winning as often as possible this is why we have we look out for casinos with higher probability ratios.

Most times,  those casinos that have verifiable games tend to have low or none house edge and at that,  gamblers tend to make more winning depending on their skills and expertise.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 27, 2023, 10:00:17 PM
Everyone go into gambling with different motives and there are people who don't care about the money they lose in gambling, because they are making more money from other sources of their investments. There are things you do in life not because of the profitability rather you want to satisfy an inward desire.
. Yes and that is where the fun part of it comes into play,  because while some believes that gambling is solely for the profits which makes them to think and believe that there is no one gambling for the fun and everyone gambling os for the money,  this kind of thought have affected alot of them in the past and we have always advice that,  as a gambler you should take our the time to properly outline what you really want and at the same time be able to come up whether you gambling for the fun or for the profits,  your answer to that determine your standing on the matter.
