Yup that BTC Bull Signet R in 18K gold  Shocked

I did a little search around on the site but still cant find the info - Any idea how much this ring weighs?
Just curious how much of the $800 is actually gold...

Would it be possible to do a custom finish?
I'm thinking a brushed but with the BTC backdrop being polished - to make that BTC symbol pop out nicely.

I'd be willing to pay extra for my perfect ring  Wink

Love the design though. Great job!

Thanks for the comments!  Unfortunately I don't have any control on manufacturing I am tied what the manufacture has on offer.  I have full control on design but no customizing control on manufacturing.

I was looking for a weight on the rings as well and I couldn't find any information on the back end shop page and the ordering page I have access too.  There is obviously margin for me and the manufacture but I can't say specifically what percentage of the retail cost is raw gold cost.

Looking forward to the pictures of produced rings. In the meantime, I need to figure out how to convert paw circumference into ring size.
* Lauda is computing.
Hmm I was looking for a paw circumference ring tool for you but google let me down again and didn't provide any solid hits, you're on your own for that one  Wink

On a side note, for the Viacoin fans I have a signet with the Viacoin logo on it almost done.  I hope to have it uploaded in the shop and renders here tonight.

Also I am thinking an Etherium signet is coming soon.

Does anyone else have a favourite popular alt they would like to see on a ring?

Thanks for the feedback and support. We are a small family owned business. Any sale that comes in helps us stay in business.

Yes please post pictures for everyone to see.

We are still optimizing our shipping rates to be the most affordable possible. The rate we had for your country was slightly high and has been changed today. We added something in there for you so you'll come out ahead.

We are working on video tutorials so anyone can safely make a cold storage coin. Currently our tutorials are in text form on the site.

Thanks again!

Happy to support a crypto business, it was just a little order I know but I'm just getting my feet wet in collectible and coin world (so much for me to learn and so exciting LOL).

Got my tracking number today, thanks!  Really looking forward to getting them!  You really didn't need to add anything I was happy with my purchase (I do appreciate it though!).

I am glad you had a look at the shipping rates and adjusted it a bit!  A high rate like that would have definitely affected my decision on future purchases, so thanks (I'd like to be a repeat customer!), I'm glad the comments were helpful!

I will post pics as soon as I get them!

1069  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The State of Cryptocurrency Mining by David Vorick (Sia) on: May 14, 2018, 03:32:48 AM
Yes it's a good article and it's accurate. What's frustrating for those of us that lived through the conversion of bitcoin from CPU to ASIC is that the rules and issues have never changed, and we see the same mistakes being made over and over by both new manufacturers and newcomers into the game trying to capitalise on a market they think they understand. Bitmain have got the mining world by the balls and that is not going to change by anyone trying to take them on by the same rules they play by. I've been warning people since the first ASICs got announced but alas no one listened, and then I just gave up trying to warn them... No one seemed to want to believe me and for whatever reason very few every considered consulting me despite my obvious position in the mining world.

Ya I never understood it.  Since ASIC's day 1 people have LINED up to give interest free loans to their competitors months in advance for a completely unproven product.  I have mentioned quite a number of times the simple math of buying a unit from Bitmain (or anyone really) and it gives them the ability to put multiple units of their own on line.  I was even basically called a nut job conspiracy theorist for suggesting such a ridiculous idea.  I asked a million times why the fuck is everyone so horny to become an investomer?  Why take ALL the risk of an investor but never be able to reap the rewards of an investor instead your BEST CASE reward is being a fulfilled order? Why are you funding your competition with interest free capital??  But it really wasn't a popular opinion (probably still isn't LOL) and I took my far share of heat for it!

Your're so right it's not a new concept. Some folks over the years have commented on the "near zero sum game" design of the system.  We all know that those with the lowest capital and operational expenses will always make the most money.  Again as obvious is that a company manufacturing miners will have the lowest possible capital cost's to start a mine.  Add to that some of the lowest operational cost's (manpower and electricity) are in the manufacture's backyard and you can see that in time they will be the only ones left mining (if nothing changes and coins retain fiat value).

And even after all the outright scams, the borderline scams, the failed business attempts, delay after delay, 10's of millions of dollars "lost" and every other excuse the wild west here had to offer it's still amazing to me how many people come here with a get rich quick attitude or a complete lack of basic understanding of how POW mining works.  But such is the capitalist way I guess and a new batch a wide eyed awe struck newbs will roll in here every time coin price spikes and BTC is in the news.

I like your coins guys I went ahead and bought a Holo coins collectors pack!

These are the first coins I've ever bought (crypto or otherwise) and I'm excited to get them!!!

Lastly I felt like shipping was kind of expensive but at the end of the day I bought it anyways cause they're cool looking I have a little "spare" coin burning a hole in my hard drive and I'd like to support BTC entrepreneurs!

I'll post some pictures if that's OK with the OP (I assume it will be) once I receive my first coins EVER!

Good luck guys!!!!!!!!

Edit: Forgot to mention I also like your site, pretty slick looking!

1073  Economy / Goods / UPDATE 🔥🛒💍 Crypto Rings In Precious Metals - PROTOTYPES COMPLETE PICS INSIDE! on: May 13, 2018, 12:32:58 AM
FINALLY ARRIVED, THE PROTOTYPES ARE COMPLETE OP UPDATED

I am happy to introduce The Hellf1sh C0llect10n a line of crypto inspired rings.  They are available in a variety of precious metals.  18k Gold plated rings start at just $49.95 USD and orders over $200 USD have a 100% money back guarantee*.

I am a hobby designer, these are my first designs and I do them in my spare time.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them!  While I do the designs personally I do not manufacture the rings myself. Shapeways is set up for designers to be able to use their platform to retail products.  I thought this was smart so I can focus on designing and not manufacturing.  It also opens up additional payment options.

USD payments are handled through Shapeways I have a shop set up on their site and you can see my designs, available material options, sizes and prices.  Crypto payments can be negotiated through me.

Above pictures are the first physical Prototypes of high polished silver (.925) and are NOT digital renders!!!  Smiley  Cool
Photos courtesy of Mrs. Flying Hellfish

Materials Currently Available from the store:
14k Gold Plated (Yellow and Rose)
18k Gold Plated (Yellow)
14k Gold (Yellow, White and Rose)
18k Gold (Yellow)
Platinum
Stainless Steel (not all rings are available in SS, check specific designs for SS availability)
Silver (.925 - Polished and Premium Polished finishes)
Rhodium Plated
Shapeways offers approx 60 materials PM me if you want a different material than what is listed.

Rings Sizes are 4 to 10 (US Size).  If you want a different size PM me and I will add it to the store!
Ring Sizing information:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_size

BTC payment orders will be made through me (I will place the order personally with Shapeways and ship it to you, shipping is at your expense).  USD orders can be made with Credit Card or Pay Pal (check Shapeways site for additional USD options).
USD orders at Shapeways shipping world wide (except Russia sorry guys I can't do anything about this) but Crypto payments made to me should be able to ship world wide (unless I have shipping restrictions from my home country of Canada).

All USD sales are governed by the manufacture's (Shapeways inc) terms and conditions
* - On USD orders over $200 placed directly with the manufacture, redeemable only through Shapeways.

Some of the topics covered in the comprehensive FAQ from Shapeways:
https://www.shapeways.com/support/faq
Full terms and conditions.
How the products are made.
Shipping time estimates.

The material section gives a lot of detail:
https://www.shapeways.com/materials
Metal assurance and quality testing of precious metals.
What you can expect from the finished quality (ie will i see print lines etc).
What goes into making and post processing precious metal "parts".

I am planning to add more designs as time permits so please check back in for updates!

Custom designs are available, PM if you have a custom project in mind!

Happy to answer any questions so fire away!

1074  Economy / Reputation / Re: Calling out Vod for his trusted input! on: May 12, 2018, 06:02:59 PM
And where the fuck is the conflict of interest?

If I understood digaran's nonsense correctly he did what all butthurts do and invent a wild, tenuous conspiracy theory to try justify himself. I added Darkstar to my trust list and Flying Hellfish applied to Chipmixer and will quite possibly (in my opinion) be the next person to get a slot. Of course, I am Staff and so is Flying Hellfish. So according to digaran that means me adding Darkstar is a bribe/conflict of interest to get Flying Hellfish a spot on the campaign. Of course! Makes perfect sense  Roll Eyes.

Holy shit is this what he was trying to say all along?  I swear I had no idea what he was getting at but reading this I think your right...
All I can say is wow just fucking wow.

@Digaran
I stand by my earlier post that this cat needs medical assistance.

For the record even though it is no ones business,

I have been here for 5 years and as of the time of this writing I have never once worn a paid signature.  I think this might prove something to a normal person.  I did apply to one and will join if I am ever accepted for a couple of reasons.

As I said I am not here for the sig campaign money and I had not (and still to date technically have not) worn a paid signature.  By joining any signature campaign it would not render my previous statements false in any way shape or form.

Now if I do finally or eventually get into a campaign I will be looking for one that does not have a minimum post count.  I do not want to be forced to post anything, I generally do read more here than I post and I like to use the forum at my own pace.  I will be looking for a reputable one as well.  The campaign I applied to met those criteria for me so I investigated the option.

If you notice a little closer you can see that I only applied for that one so far.  Could it be because I am being selective in applying, maybe I don't care or need signature campaign money?  But that doesn't mean if the option for me to participate in a really good campaign existed that I won't take it.  It's my decision to apply or not and if you don't like that than a big old fuck you bro is all I can say!

I know this will fall on deaf ears and you will continue to make shit up about people but for anyone else with at least half a fucking brain in there head I will present my side of it.
1075  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Charity Auction] Save the Bees TWO SILVER PANDAS on: May 11, 2018, 06:03:23 PM
Hey Krog, is the auction for two lots of 1 piece each or a single lot of 2 pieces?  I'd like to bid on 1 if that is what you have going!  I'm sure it's clear to everyone who's not a newb to this section like me but I just want to be clear before I bid!!

Auction is for two coins so when you bid you will be bidding for the two of them together..only one lot

Thanks man appreciate you clearing that up for me!
