A variation of the current logo.

10642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: signature campaign on: May 01, 2015, 01:59:15 PM
When you reached a forum rank of at least Junior Member you can apply for a signature ad campaign and add their banner into your signature. Then you will get paid for every post you write.
10643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love altcoins. What's your favorite? The shill thread. on: May 01, 2015, 01:56:53 PM
PayCon?? Really?? Is it another Paycoin copy scam coin? The advertising banner looks not professional at all.
10644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gridcoin (GRC) - first coin utilizing BOINC - Official Thread on: May 01, 2015, 01:55:01 PM
Cool! Thanks for sharing! It is a good opportunity for newbies to test Gridcoin without installing the client.

>> http://Cointopay.com:
Hi, just want to mention that Cointopay is now supporting Gridcoin! Yay! Cointopay is not just a payment provider, it seeks to become a fully decentralized payment provider and supporting SCIENCE while at it. So what does this mean?
1) It means Merchants can accept Gridcoin via WooCommerce, Shopify, ECWID, API's Apps and websites.
2) Payout in currency of choice
3) Anyone can open up a wallet and buy some Gridcoin<<

10647  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: OpenSource PHP Faucet for bitcoin and altcoins on: May 01, 2015, 10:48:25 AM
I downloaded the script and gonna install it on my server. I'll implement a API to an exchange with low fees in order to pay the BTC from there.

Thanks, I uploaded the new files. My admin area works fine.

When I try to register from the index.php page, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '"header.php"' (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING) in /home/firstbuk/public_html/faucet-master/register.php on line 1

any ideas?
10648  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Erfahrungen mit Anycoindirect.eu? on: May 01, 2015, 10:46:54 AM

10649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NFDv2] - NFD Coin - Current version NFD-1.3.7 - NEW NFD-AT testnet on: May 01, 2015, 10:43:45 AM
Okay, and where can I apply for HZ hallmarked nodes bounty? Is there a thread on bitcointalk somewhere?

i want to use some of my remaining server capacity to run another Nxt-based coin node. Are there any community rewards for running a NFDv2 node?

There is a forger reward but no node reward.
HZ distributes bounties to public hallmarked nodes.
(NFD is merging with HZ.)
10650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Clones on: May 01, 2015, 10:39:38 AM
By the way, Nxt is not a Bitcoin clone. It has been developed from scratch. They have nothing in common except the concept of crypto currencies.

There are so many bitcoin clones since it is open source. I also saw cryptonote. And nxt. What do they get by creating a clone? Why not focus all the efforts to bitcoin?
10651  Economy / Economics / Re: New rebublic Liberland to accept BTC as currency on: May 01, 2015, 10:38:01 AM
My question have not been answered so far. Still interesting in why the offcial language is Czech? Thanks!

Ahmm...why is the official language of this "country" Czech although it is located between Croatia and Serbia, hundreds of kilometers away from the Czech Republic?  Grin

Everytime the price falls, people are telling to buy cheap. Prices usually dumps more on a constantly upswing trend and then you bought expensive  Cool

Buying cheap now
10653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: denationalisation of money on: May 01, 2015, 10:33:15 AM
I voted for no! Actually it is recommend to regionalize currencies instead of globalize or denationalize them more.

10655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union: 'Too Early' to Discuss Ripple Labs Pilot Project on: May 01, 2015, 10:29:03 AM
No matter whether it is the wrong subforum or not. The news is interesting. WU is going to undermine its core business when they focus on crypto. I think it is a rumor and keeps a rumor.
10656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: News sites and blogs about crypto coins on: May 01, 2015, 10:20:16 AM
Yes, but coindesk is very Bitcoin-focused and it addresses to less topics about other coin concepts in my opinion.
That's one reason why I am looking for alternatives.

I am looking for a list of good news sites and blogs which only address crypto coin related topics.

I know
cointelegraph.com
coindesk.com

Some more?

In my opinion coindesk is one of the best.  They always seem to be up to date, and very nice writing.  I would say on par with newspaper quality.

I would love to know if there is one of coindesk quality that focuses more on the mining side.

Just start a thread where people running a Bitcoin node can apply for a little tip.
10658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem i see with bitcoin. on: May 01, 2015, 10:15:27 AM
I don't agree. Bitcoin's problem is not fiat but the lack of mass adaption. This however results from too few useful real life applications which using Bitcoin. It is too hard to get into all this Bitcoin stuff when you don't have a technical background or interest.

tldr version?

Bitcoin's problem is fiat. And people don't care because they want higher fiat prices.

I also recommend this thread to you

Explains the things behind Bitcoin pretty good and from the view of a newbie.
10660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a colored coin? on: May 01, 2015, 10:10:37 AM
Colored coins are coins or tokens which are maintained within a already existing blockchain. One of the best examples is the NXT Monetary System that lets you create new coins which are maintained and secured by the NXT blockchain and baked by Nxt coins.
