1081  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 07, 2021, 11:07:51 AM

@zanezane it’s a sensitive issue and many sites will think twice before they make this option available, because then people will start complaining that verified users get more advantages, and if we roughly count not many users like getting verified. However Stake has a started a nice initiative, and it’ll be interesting if they share some numbers as to how many users chose to get verified for the added benefits, because those numbers may encourage others to get verified too.
It won't because business should know for themselves where to set the boundary for their customers and still protect their interests. I don't think that it's unfair for non-verified users, they have a choice to verify but they didn't do it.
1082  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lunarwin.com Slots&Casino - Get a non depositor freebie! on: June 07, 2021, 07:58:43 AM
Do this company serious about this business? or just trying to open for possible players but won't give a damn about any concerns?

Posting this thread and then gone away for a week even that there are already some questions towards their operation.
Check their discord, they seem to be active in there, I agree that it raises a red flag when they are inactive in this thread but I don't think that it is going to be the biggest worry that we have, they can go take a break from time to time.
1083  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 07, 2021, 06:54:10 AM
I like the way in which they do things, yes there are people who will take advantage of these giveaways and the team needs to overcome these situation and i like the team giving options for anyone who wanted to win more freebies to verify their identity and they have given the end users the choice and that is what every other sites should follow as well.
That's actually quite rare for gambling, that people are being prioritized by the business before their interests. Which is why there's not much to dislike about Stake, because they care for their players.
1084  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: June 07, 2021, 05:24:44 AM
There is no exact date for it but I believe we can trade it this month, I think betfury team is renewing the contract for BFG because most likely the BFG will be on the BSC network and they have to adapt it to the old contract. today BSW Price $1.3 seems to be growing.
Advance congratulations to those who have a BFG token because once the new contract is done, the prices are definitely going to go up in value. I don't have any BFG and I regret not getting any.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to start a crypto project, gimme advice on: June 07, 2021, 04:36:22 AM
Basically finding other people and marketing are two different things. But I'm sure that you needed most first finding the right people that will work for you that will share the same value and goal with what you're working at.
And then the marketing would come next, good luck for building your project and team.
Agree, you need to find the right ones that will stick to you for better or worse of the business venture, this will be hard though as you can't find it easily on friends or acquaintance, let alone a stranger. Focus on finding the people that you will work with first because it will be detrimental to the potential of your company.
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: June 07, 2021, 04:04:06 AM

Are you sure about this? Because I just read a journal article which claims that the Pfizer vaccine produces 5 times less antibodies while coming in to contact with the Delta (B.1.617.2) strain. That doesn't mean that the Pfizer vaccine will be ineffective against the mutant strain, but there is a strong chance that it will be "less effective". And in due course of time, we will see more mutant strains, against which the efficacy of the vaccines will be even lower. Vaccine manufacturers need to deal with this issue.

Full text here: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(21)01290-3/fulltext
That's because Pfizer vaccine is an mRNA vaccine that works differently with other vaccines. They instruct the cells to create a spike immune response to prevent the virus from latching on the cells. Antibodies aren't produced by vaccines, they are produced by the host and they will only be produced for a specific one if a specific virus have been introduced to the body albeit in a weak state.
1087  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: June 07, 2021, 03:17:28 AM
The most problem of using cryptocurrency as cashless payment processor in daily life is the country really afraid of their fiat become useless and loss its value. The another problem is the transaction hard to be tracked by them for tax issue. The one that i thing possible is digitalize the fiat like USDT and make it for cashless transaction.
It won't be useless if it is still the currency being used online and they want to coexist more than annihilate the other form of payment. The tax bureau can probably make up for the difference of lost tax if they raise it on commodities and such or they can proactively hunt for potential and active tax evaders.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for a capital gains tax increase (US) on: June 05, 2021, 05:32:33 PM

Generally, if you're donating money to charity, you don't have the money in your possession anymore, so you're not evading taxes by using the donation to lower your tax burden.  This isn't a loophole, that's literally the intended purpose of charity tax write offs.  Also, you can't buy art to dodge taxes.  There's no tax write off for buying art.
It can be used, I just felt like never talking about it. You know how in fine arts world, they sell some works of some artist that doesn't have any talent? They sell it to rich people and the rich people have a connection with some famous art appraiser and they will appraise the work at an exorbitant amount to cover the bribe for the appraiser and then the rich guy donates it for the overly appraised price and he will be able to do a write since it was counted as a donation.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 05, 2021, 04:31:24 PM
~
a lot of people expect btc to go down at 10k is there a good thing for us as investors or is the decline in btc at the lowest price a threat to future crypto developments?
now we are in a dangerous environment for the survival of crypto itself.
That bitcoin survival is on a thread is a bullshit created to create a general anxiety among the market to doubt bitcoin which slows down the growth of bitcoin. Even if bitcoin were to go down as low as 10k USD, it doesn't matter because in the long-term, bitcoin is going to grow even bigger than what it is right now.
1090  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: June 05, 2021, 02:10:31 PM
The added complexity with virus, compared to other pathogens is that it mutates very quickly. So the vaccines which are effective against the original strain may not work against the mutated strains. The good news is that so far none of the mutated strains have shown a very high level of resistance against any of the vaccines. But there is no guarantee that it will remain the same in the future. The only real solution is to vaccinate as many people as possible, as the virus can mutate only inside the human body.
That's Sci-fi BS, WHO already said that even if it mutates, the vaccines will still be effective because in the core, the virus is still the same. I do agree with you that more people should be vaccinated as fast as possible because it can help for a faster recovery of the economy.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: June 05, 2021, 11:39:23 AM
It's hard to see bitcoin's price holding its high any longer due to its volatility. The bullish trend will very quickly affect the market capitalization and the bearish trend will also do the same. But the achievement that bitcoin has made are impressive even if they don't last long. So, if bitcoin can reach 1 trillion marketcap in 12 years, then it is still possible to see it reach 2 trillion in 24 years due to its future potential.
That's the good thing about the market, it's sort of fair for everyone because they might win or lose their investment due to volatility with winning being so rewarding. It is indeed and impressive achievement but it is also an indicator that bitcoin can go much higher than 1 trillion in the long-term.
1092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: June 05, 2021, 10:11:31 AM
don't be greedy if already profit  Grin
Wise words, if the profit is good or decent and you have a feeling that it's going to go down, might as well sell it before you regret not selling. This is actually what Warren Buffett said so I think that it is a true thing to do, doing what's opposite of the crowd.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can't break out anymore. it's done. on: June 05, 2021, 09:32:03 AM
You are one clueless person. Do you still have Bitcoin with you? Sell it right now and see you when Bitcoin hits $100,000. And that's going to happen within the year.
These kind of people will be regretting what they're saying during the down times of bitcoin because they will get left behind and have their opportunity to make a really good or even considerable profit.
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon musk, Jeff bezos and Bill gates manipulating the market on: June 05, 2021, 07:16:11 AM
Well, we might as well add all the other bitcoin millionaires selling their bitcoin at high price making the prices go down and buying at a low price again. The market is susceptible to manipulation, I think we should get used to that, instead of being mad about it, why not just find a way to benefit from this manipulation.
1095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 05, 2021, 04:47:45 AM
It is possible for the bitcoin price to reach $10k, actually anything is possible to happen to cryptocurrencies. But if you look on the stats of bitcoin price i think that it will never reach $10k this year because of the pump that happens in its value, gradually its price drops down but it will surely goes up again.
We can't really be sure that it won't reach this year, remember that bitcoin is a volatile and really susceptible to market manipulation so there is a likely chance that bitcoin might go down there, we just have to wait for it to happen and if it never does then thank the market.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 05, 2021, 04:07:43 AM
Well, it's summer in my country right now but bitcoin is still very much alive so I don't think that bitcoin will probably die any time soon, people are still using it right?
1097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 04, 2021, 12:17:48 PM
No one knows what will happen again in bitcoin price, but it is only normal that a cryptocurrency will go dip in value. Just like what happened before that the bitcoin price significantly goes low and crash followed by most of the cryptocurrencies. And it seems that it will surely go back to normal state where they can recover again.
That's the beauty and ugliness of living in this world and doing things, you never what's going to happen next or what's in store for you. 30k is still normal in my opinion, we just got to accustomed to the high prices and big pumps that we thought that a dump in 30k is a bad thing, of course it will go back up again but we have to wait for it to happen.
1098  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: June 04, 2021, 09:17:44 AM
They could've probably done it but I think they bought around this price point so I don't think that there is a possibility that they have already sold their bitcoins. Plus, we would feel it in the market when they have sold everything that they currently hodl, I am sure of that because we also felt the increase when they bought those bitcoins.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not be able to stay above $35k for 10 consecutive days ever again on: June 04, 2021, 08:32:26 AM
Don't get carried away.
This is just Musk's wet dream. It's nothing to worry about.
That's right, with you selling and making the prices go down even more, you are only making the FUD become a real deal. You people panicking will only make @proudhon happy because he/she will buy bitcoin at a lower price in your expense.
1100  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: June 04, 2021, 07:50:05 AM
Nowadays many people know cryptocurrencies and want to invest in them, if we have unused money to save it is good to invest in crypto, but if the money to fulfill daily life is used for cryptocurrency investment then it will be very risky, because considering highly volatile cryptocurrency investment
You might want to take a little bit of caution with this advice of putting the spare money in investment, don't put everything in an investment, especially with a volatile one like bitcoin. Take it easy in investing because there is a lot of unforeseen events that may need a lot of money and you put it all in investment which is going to leave you with no choice but to get it out prematurely. For me, crypto is a really good investment and fiat is a useful tool that I can use to buy services and products.
