1081  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Warning: Bons.com - Disturbing Practices, Unfair Fees & Manipulated Reviews on: September 17, 2023, 10:14:38 PM
This is the first time I have heard of this platform. And Trustpilot hasn't been reliable for years as platforms can easily buy reviews and delete the negative ones that are popping on their review page. It's an unfair practice but it happens, and that's how scam sites make their platform look legitimate. I haven't seen this platform in this forum as a regular poster here, so that's already one reason for me to avoid the site.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 17, 2023, 08:52:07 PM
The Philippines doesn't have an entirely laid out framework for taxing gambling activities. All I know is that the government is not actively seeking for gamblers to file their winnings, losses, or whatever expenditures related to gambling for tax purposes. I myself have been gambling using crypto for more than 6 years and haven't been reprimanded by the tax office to file the necessary documents and get cleared from tax. I know they will just categorize gambling winnings to capital gains, and I do hope that they do not because it is extremely high.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 17, 2023, 08:23:43 PM
The thing is, in free spins you are actually getting the stats and are contributing it towards your wagers for the next tier up or for rewards. Demo is entirely different - you are just playing the game without it affecting your account nor its stats. It's a way of the casino to let you experience their platform without having to risk something or gain something, just purely testing the platform.

That had saved you time but it's not a 3-0 but a 3-1 ending. Still, we've got some idea on how the finals will go. I guess that GG is now full buffed and there's one more tournament that they need to play with before the TI.

I still personally think that its going to be GG to win the whole tournament again. Well they might flop abit on the group stage but eventually I think they are still going to be atleast top 2.

I normally would skip most of the BO2 group stage because things always goes south on this type of match but the main highlight would be Tundra though. Topson is playing and Nine is on 4th position which means that things would be way different then they normally is so Im betting on Tundra to win against Talon tomorrow, odds are pretty high obviously because this screams draw for sure

I always skip BO2s, for the same reason you have re: draws. But with the composition and team setup Tundra is going to go with, I guess this bet of yours have a pretty good chance of hitting. Nine is not really a good position 4, although between him and Topson, I'd pick him to fill the role and Topson going for mid/core. Topson is just horrible in support roles, even though he's a very flexible core player as we have seen over the years.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 17, 2023, 06:45:31 PM
Wow, that Red Bull car looked slow today. It could have been the ruling made by the FIA that somewhat sent them back. Well, it's about damn time for F1 to be interesting again and not utter "another Red Bull win" whenever a race is happening.

Anyway, Sainz looked clean on taking the win today, and I feel like Ferrari is slowly favoring him to be the main driver with Leclerc being the supporting one. Understandable given the circumstances on this particular race, though not sure in the next races to come. And for Russel, I feel for the guy. Last lap and everything went to shambles for them.

1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of introverts against successful investments on: September 17, 2023, 01:50:25 PM
But the question is, now that OP has 0.2 BTC how is he going to gain massive profits out of it.
Just holding it won't get him huge profits.
There's no way you can gain massive profits if you just have little amount of wealth, I believe 0.2 BTC in every country are still not enough to reach financial freedom. Obviously the @OP need to work or create a business and then the unused money must be invested, repeat. You might not gain massive profits in Bitcoin, but I'm sure it's the best investment choice among the other safe and good investment asset.
Everyone has their own perspective in understanding that they have achieved financial freedom, some people need a lot of income so they can meet their needs and they can do anything with what they have and there are also some people who feel that they are enough with what they have they have. For now, investing in Bitcoin will indeed be very good for those who understand it because they can benefit from it and if we don't understand it, we need to learn it first from those who have experience in this field so that if we invest later we don't immediately experience losses.
You are right. We all have a different understanding or image in mind when we say financial freedom, and it is affected by our different unique situations and mindsets. We cannot compare each other's interpretation or understanding of the term as we will always look to prefer out own because it caters to what we want and need. For example, an individual may see financial freedom as being able to quit their job and rely on their investments and business while living a luxurious lifestyle while a different individual will frown at such image because they believe financial freedom is being able to save up and have various sources of income like investments, businesses and a good paying job.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: September 17, 2023, 01:27:59 PM
Many people enter into crypto because they hear they can get rich fast, but they don't understand shit. It's smart to study Bitcoin's fundamentals before "hodling". You don't just start driving without studying the road regulations and how the car operates.

I agree with your security remarks. The decentralisation of Bitcoin makes it different from banks. And with great power (of controlling your own money) comes great responsibility (to safeguard it).

You have a positive outlook; the group has helped you understand. Share your knowledge and assist novices navigate these perilous seas. As you noted, being aware can protect you from scammers and give you true opportunities.
I agree with you. Although there is nothing wrong to share how much crypto has helped individuals to attain financial stability and get rich it has a negative part wherein people who often hear/read/find out about this have no idea how much effort, time and knowledge it takes to reach that kind of success in crypto. Hence, when they get blinded my these stories and they do not reach heights of success others did they will complain and blame those who shared their story.
1090  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Crisis - Improved, Worsen or still the same in your country (No Change)? on: September 17, 2023, 01:06:10 PM
If the food crisis has something to do with the inflation of its price then all I can say is that the situation is worsening.  With the agricultural land being converted to housing, industrial, and commercial land, the food supply is getting thinner.  As a result, their price in the market is almost doubled.  This problem is enhanced by these people who hoard the food supply even making the price skyrocket.
Apart from that, what the government and farmers need to do is good and productive agricultural management. Where I live there is still a lot of empty land and the land is very fertile but because it is not managed well and is not able to absorb technological advances to increase existing agricultural output. So food yields where I live do not increase every year, while the need for food has increased the most. And in my opinion, the government's participation in dealing with things like this is also very necessary because there are still many people in my area who, when they want to farm, only rely on rainwater, while when the dry season arrives they cannot plant crops because there is a lack of sufficient water supply to wet the agricultural land.

That's the reason why the farmers in your area don't want to plant crops because there is no proper water irrigation for the plants, and that is why those farmers won't take the risk unless the government builds a water irrigation system in that feasible area.

I am not sure where you live but in our country government built irrigation that was temporary and built by farmers before government just funded it to make it concrete so that it would be permanent and the flow of water would be distributed evenly. It might be one of the reasons why government won't fund that area because farmers don't take initiative and also because government thinks that no one will make that empty land into a farm.
Although you have a point here, we cannot ignore that there are countries wherein the government are the ones that lacks actions and concern for the agricultural sector of the country they are governing. For example, in my country there have been various call to action and protest of farmers and majority of society for our government to listen to the needs of agriculture as it has been obvious that this sector of the country is having a major downfall yet to proper action has still been taken.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: It ain't meant to be easy on: September 17, 2023, 12:46:54 PM
well, actually it will look easy if we do it even if it looks difficult. Actually what makes us difficult is only our thoughts. if we try to do it, even if it is really difficult we have tried our best. it is better than not doing it at all

Difficulty and ease always go hand in hand in all things, so that the assessment of the ease and difficulty of a job is only known when we have done it in our own way. Because sometimes the method taken by other people can also be easier than the method we do in a job that is no different, so difficulties are not only formed from our thoughts. But it is also formed from the way we take things in order to get maximum results without shifting from the basic goals that we have previously thought about for ourselves.

However, some people actually don't want to try doing something that they consider difficult, but maybe they don't know where to start, so up to now there are still many people who prefer to look for other, easier paths because maybe they know where to start. Even though difficulties are only visible when someone has not tried it, but when they have tried it and let's say they still haven't succeeded, someone will definitely look for solutions to solve the problems they face in order to overcome the obstacles that are in front of them.
Different people, different ways, and different perspectives. Some individuals would rather find the easiest way to perform a task that will lead them closer or directly to their goal while others will grit through the difficult task to reach the same thing. Whichever we clasify as we all share the same drive to reach a goal we have set for ourselves, we just have different takes on various things that leads to different decisions and actions.
1092  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: September 17, 2023, 12:28:30 PM
All of this comes back to price competition and when traders are not ready for that, there is a high possibility that they will go bankrupt.
I think here there is no role for anyone except the trader himself who can understand and comprehend the market situation.
Nowadays, every trader or businessman can no longer play with prices like before the emergence of online media such as online shops and the like. So price competition is currently very tight. And yes, traders who are able to compete on price are the traders who will survive. Currently, to become a successful trader, we even have to have the courage to charge cheaper prices than other traders. Even a small difference will be enough to attract consumer attention towards us. There is no need to make a sharp price difference. But yeah, make the price difference a little cheaper while still maintaining the quality that we offer. If we make a price difference that is too large, it will also be detrimental to ourselves.
I agree with you. The competition in the market skyrocketed due to the sudden boom of online shopping, especially amidst and after the COVID-19 lockdown. A big percentage of consumers started to be reliant on online merchants for their needs, not only does it provide a convinient door-to-door shipping service, online shopping also (for most of the time) posts lower product price compared to brick and mortar merchants.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: It's good that financial instutions Understood that they need to use crypto on: September 17, 2023, 12:01:03 PM
Many financial institutions are indeed aware of the need to use crypto, because after all, it is individuals who run these institutions. The question is which kind of Crypto would be of uttermost benefit both in terms of stabiliy, demand, future potential? The answer of if it is allowed in the region is also important because where a financial institution violates the countries code of financial practices, such an institution would face lawsuit and charges against it.
Also the need to dedicate some funds to maintain and upgrade security around the crypto investment will be of concern mostly with the recent cases of hackers tempering with assets on exchanges and anywhere they find crumbs of careless crypto left unattended to.
I agree with you regarding on the actual question that should be raised. As we all know some institutions prefer one over the other due to various reasons, including how beneficial it will be for them and if it is legally allowed and accepted in their region. After all, no institution would wish to adapt a system that will put them against the law, risking legal charges.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: No choice but to use the unavoidable middle man, the exchange companies. on: September 17, 2023, 11:31:04 AM
I believe that most business owners will prefer to transact money transfers with their customers directly without using an exchange, that will be a third party, and you'll have to pay this third party or middle man money for his services, whether you like it or not. I also believe that nothing beats transacting money directly with your clients or customers, no third party whatsoever. One of the reasons why I like bitcoin is that it's decentralized, and you can do a P2P transaction with another bitcoin holder without any exchange being involved. But for convenience, transparency and scams that are associated with P2P, you don't have much choice but to patronize the services of these exchanges.

You can not eliminate the middle man in businesses, especially in this digital age, be it fiat or cryptocurrencies, because they have come to stay. Big exchanges like Binance, are cashing in on being the middle man in businesses, an unavoidable indirect business associates, in your face, waiting for you to go through them.

Indeed, you cannot deny the middleman's importance when dealing with an anonymous person on the internet. Reputation is a key factor there. If you can build a solid online reputation, you will likely get the payment or product first. This applies only to public forums like BitcoinTalk and hack forums. Still, this forum has middleman services to eliminate the possibility of scams.

The fact is, forum middlemen do not ask for your private information like your Real name, Identity or your electricity bills. But when you deal with some specific platforms like Binance and other centralized platforms, you compromise your private information.
I agree with you. Moreover, though, it is best to remember that there are different system that different middlemen use. I remember when I hired a middleman for a quick transaction and they never asked me to provide any personal information, everything was strictly about the transaction and anonymity that both the seller and I wants to maintain. On the other hand, I have heard some stories wherein their middleman asked for some private information that made me reluctant to proceed with the transaction but it turns out it was not a scam and the middleman was only following a system they've been practicing for long.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: September 16, 2023, 10:26:50 PM
These tips are obviously valid but when you try out different types of rather new and expanding casinos you will see that all of them will ask many detailed information about you because of law enforcement. Everyone knows typical methods like not writing your credit card numbers anywhere but other than that you don't have much leverage against fraud casino. They ask information first! They can use that information any way they like (if they are fraud of course). This is why I always suggest to use known online casinos like stake com only where you will be safe.
This is the trend now and most crypto casinos are being regulated and KYC is a thing there.
Choosing the reputable site can at least give you the peace of mind that your personal data will be safe from them and of course you’ll get to experience the best gambling site. Security is a big thing that you must not ignore, if there’s a 2fA option do it, that is for your own benefit and for your own security.

Though sometimes, 2FA is not the indicator if a casino is legitimate or not. There are casinos out there that impose 2FA all the while being a scam in reality. They get two birds in one stone with you submitting your personal info plus giving them some money should you wish to deposit on them. The key is looking for authentic reviews for the site and see if it has established user base already. A rule of thumb I'd like to follow is if there isn't a thread for the casino already existing here in bitcointalk, it could be a possible scam - at least for me.

You really can see that Singapore is really Max's bane. I wouldn't say struggling, but he's having some issues in terms of utilizing his car's full potential on this track. Perhaps there are some hesitations coming from him or he's just really not that confident in pushing the limits of the car in this track. Even with the change of wings if they complied with the FIA's ruling, RB19 is still the fastest and most efficient car in the season, so if it doesn't get the next wins, we know that it's Max still not getting the hang of this track.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 16, 2023, 08:39:15 PM

This is a very normal condition and we all feel the same thing when we feel tired but want to entertain ourselves by gambling but the results are bad when our focus is too bad when we feel our body is tired so our mind cant think of a strategy to win the bet and things are worse When someone starts to get tired of forcing themselves to gamble, they will only be provoked by emotions and spend all their existing funds on gambling.
In contrast to a healthy state of mind and not feeling tired, it is more comfortable and we can think of any strategy that can give us a greater chance of winning if we are lucky and other positive things, when our minds are cool, we can always control our emotions so as not to continue betting.

The ultimate aim of the creation of the gambling was to entertain the gamblers and to earn some small money for it.Because the gambling site owner spending some money to build the site and spending huge money for the marketing. The gambler may win the big money,if they had enough luck. The win or loss based on the good time of the gamblers, the healthy mind will enable you to make the quick decision in the gambling. The important factor in the gambling was taking the quick decision on the betting. The strategy will play the next role in the winning of the betting at the time of playing gambling.

Ultimately, it's the decision of the gambler to not give in to the temptation of being addicted to gambling. It feels good to win while you gamble, and it certainly feels great to have some money in your pocket after entertaining yourself, but you can't always have it all and at one point, you have to decide on whether or not you'll continue or not. There are tons of gamblers out there that do not think twice in going after the big jackpot even if it affects their financial state badly, and it's certainly something that one must avoid if they don't want to compound their burden to themselves.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 16, 2023, 08:16:30 PM
I've been following a few gambling channels on Twitter and Telegram, and whenever they share a screenshot of a bet slip or winning ticket, they occasionally also include the balance of their wallet. I've seen this happen several times, which made me wonder why they don't choose to withdraw their winnings instead of storing them in their gambling site wallet. Why do they leave that much in there, or is it simply for show off? A gambling expert should know better than to save their money on casino websites.

I always withdraw all my winnings and only deposit the right amount i want to use to gamble whenever i want to play a game. I’d like to know everyone’s opinion on which way is better and which one do you practice in managing your funds on gambling sites.

That's most probably a subtle form of advertising that the site is safe and that they can entrust it with that amount. I've seen lots of gamblers that are directly affiliated with the gambling platforms post their bet slips with huge amounts, too. I don't think a sane person would leave big sums in their gambling accounts unless they know that those funds are insured in some way, or that they have a way of getting it back in the event of hacks.

Heck, even small accounts with relatively small amounts still get targeted by hacks, so it doesn't make sense that these guys are leaving huge money in the 'open' in a platform that is almost always targeted by hacks.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 16, 2023, 07:17:57 PM
As someone who has a fast internet connection, I dislike the games that still take a long time to load their content properly. It's not the platform per se, but more on the provider's end. I've experienced this with slots more frequently, and I don't know why they don't cache these games into the platform or whatever tech they need to do, but it would help the end user get to the game quicker. Another thing is some of the UI/UX elements that just doesn't work properly. It gets fixed after a day or two, especially the dropdowns if raised to the proper channels. But when you need them to work, they sometimes don't, and you'll have to find a work around (e.g. for withdrawals tab or deposits tab) else you're going to waste your money or you'll never have access to those funds.

Sana magkaroon tayo ng update ragarding this para at least alam natin if may malaking effect ba ito satin o sadyang political aspect lang ng Binance ito.
