Reminder: Adesanya - Vettori first fight was one of the toughest fight for Israel. Interesting to see how he is prepared right now. Nate Diaz is back after 2 year holiday Smiley
Israel Adesanya is coming into this fight after his first loss in MMA, in the past he has returned well after a loss in kickboxing but we are yet to see how he is going to overcome that and Marvin Vettori was his toughest fight to date and Marvin Vettori will be prepared for his best version as his last few fights were incredible, but what i noticed is that his face changed a lot and i am not sure whether it is a plastic surgery mishap, did anyone notice that or my eyes are playing games Undecided.

Leon Edwards will win against Nate Diaz and hopefully he will get a title shot after that as he really deserves the title shot.

1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 07, 2021, 09:59:11 PM
Once a tournament is stopped in between the momentum is gone. PSL and IPL both got interrupted because of the pandemic and now both do not interest me. I am only waiting for the T20 WorldCup hopefully it finishes smoothly without any issue.
If the matches are interesting i do not mind watching them especially if i am placing a bet on the matches. Having a long break kills the momentum, as i was following both PSL and IPL this time and i was predicting things quite successfully but now it will take a long time to get to that phase to understand the tournament once again.

West Indians are dominating the T20 format you are absolutely correct, they are hard hitter of the ball. This WorldCup these guys will be players to watch out for.
Almost all of the players are dominating T20 franchise cricket globally and if they are able to play as a team then there is no way any other team is going to challenge them. They have a really solid team if all the players come together but we do not usually see that happen and that is their problem they are really behind in the rankings.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EURO 2020: Do you ready with your bet? on: June 07, 2021, 06:23:35 PM
Portugal, France and Germany are in one group and it is going to be the difficult group while the rest of the teams have an easy pass to the next round. If i am looking at the present form i should pick France but they are in a tough group and i am yet to look at the team strength of Portugal and Germany as well. In the finals i am expecting France and Italy but i would like to see Portugal because of CR7 as well but it is a daunting task.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 07, 2021, 05:00:46 PM
Anyway I would love to watch Tyron again in the boxing ring. He was   known to have a  striking footwork and  I wander how much of it left  to him after his  lost fights.  Regarding the odds, I would bet on  Paul if it were not exhibition fight. 15 years difference  and advantage in the reach makes him  superior of  Tyron.
Tyron Woodley is on a loosing streak in MMA and he is trying to make the maximum amount before retiring and hence you cannot complain him. Tyron Woodley was known for his knockout power but now it looks like he is not in the best physical condition whenever he fights because he is not having the same explosive power he had.
1085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 07, 2021, 12:43:35 PM
any idea why stake didnt support Logan Paul vs Mayweather ?
It was exhibition match , no winner declared.
I was searching for the event for 15 minutes think it was listed in Stake as some of the sites had the betting lines open for the event and the fight itself was a joke but still thought about checking the odds to make my decision.

~
That's actually quite rare for gambling, that people are being prioritized by the business before their interests. Which is why there's not much to dislike about Stake, because they care for their players.
Since the priority is giving back to the end user they are having good business.

~
Stake has been in the business for many years now and those taking advantage of the situation will surely get caught one time or another.
So lets just enjoy the event Stake is giving us and let them take down one by one those cheater .
They are countering that with some limitations in terms of give away for non verified users.

~
@zanezane it’s a sensitive issue and many sites will think twice before they make this option available, because then people will start complaining that verified users get more advantages, and if we roughly count not many users like getting verified.
It not that complicated as they wanted to counter anyone who is exploiting the giveaways by giving more perks to verified users and you always have the option if you really wanted to take full advantage of it.

However Stake has a started a nice initiative, and it’ll be interesting if they share some numbers as to how many users chose to get verified for the added benefits, because those numbers may encourage others to get verified too.
It would be great to know how many users choose to verify if we are giving them the option to verify the account.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 07, 2021, 07:27:42 AM
Man, the fight is a classic trash lol.
They're like hugging or clinching as a term in boxing thanking themselves for the easy money.
I feel sorry for those people who paid to see those drama in the ring.
Logan's face was obviously scared and gassed out easily. If he didn't keep hugging Floyd he might've kissed the canvass in the early rounds, and we all knew that.
I had my doubts whether Floyd Mayweather can knock him out and that is what happened, i did not watch the fight, i might be watching the highlights and yet again another exhibition fight going for a draw and there is no point in betting if there is an option to bet for a draw.

If they hugged for 8 rounds then it was a hugging contest than a boxing exhibition and i am curious to know how much they really made for this exhibition fight and if they still made millions then i have no idea what else to say.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Federer, he is actually my favorite member of big 3 but he is also realistic and it is not coincidence he was skipping clay season last couple of years. I believe he decided to play this time around just to get some actual match time. Mission accomplished, time to get ready for grass.
Even i am having the same thought process now, before he tournament i was thinking why he returned to play here which is not even his forte but now i think he wanted to have some real match practice and for the past one year everyone was not getting the actual sessions that they actually get and he wanted to get out and play free and he very well did that and i am hoping injury will not hurt his mission to win another championship most probably this year.
1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 06, 2021, 11:11:32 PM
I don't love the idea of verification at crypto-based casinos but I do understand and recognize why stake wants to do it and reward users doing it, because they run too many giveaways and people always find a way to cheat these by making multiple accounts and some even use bots to claim the coupons they offer.
I like the way in which they do things, yes there are people who will take advantage of these giveaways and the team needs to overcome these situation and i like the team giving options for anyone who wanted to win more freebies to verify their identity and they have given the end users the choice and that is what every other sites should follow as well.
1089  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now tell me if you still believe on Elon Musk. on: June 06, 2021, 09:48:46 PM
Who in the right mind that who'd believed Elon Musk tweet or reason why they pull out in bitcoin. That is obviously just some shits, Talking about fossils fuels? Seriously? I mean who would believe that, that is just some big market manipulation right there.
Elon Musk turned out to be the troll of the year and he is taking care of the void created by John McAfee after his arrest i presume  Cheesy. If you look at his overall position he does not need to do anything as he is already in a good position and there is no point in creating this big constraints which means he is doing all these on purpose and i have no idea behind his motivation.

Fossil fuels and heat is something that Elon Musk already knows, Before even getting or investing in bitcoin, that is just obvious, Tesla accepting bitcoin as payment? The number one company? And then they suddenly tell us that they were concerned about fossil fuel? Buts it's obviously unbelievable.
These are bullshit reason to manipulate the market valuation and he knew exactly how to make money during a pandemic and when his company is suffering from chip manufacturing issues because of the lack of availability and he just found a market to make a quick profit for him and his company.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sextortion - more than 4000 BTC cashed on: June 06, 2021, 09:27:29 PM
I went off the subject a bit but what I started to ask is why doesn't FINCEN play wack-a-mole with every exchange accepting bitcoin ransoms or extortions if they can't provide individual identification of the perps.  Or is it a case that Russia won't comply with FINCEN requirements?
The reason majority of the exchanges are complying with mandatory KYC is simply because they do not want to get into trouble as the authorities will mark them as aiding money laundering if they are not able to provide the necessary documents of individual wallet holders.

What's the answer?  Maybe break up the internet the way the EU is banning flights to Russia and Belarus while they support Alexander Lukashenko?  Heck many of my missing ~11.8 btc might be in Russia if reports Vinnik had a boss there who may now have much of the MtGox stolen btc as well as btc stolen from other exchanges over the years.
So you did loose your coins during the MtGox hack and it was a disaster for everyone involved in Bitcoin during that time period and hopefully we will be able to track them down even if it takes another decade  Grin.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: June 06, 2021, 01:39:37 PM
If you are not smart with your investment then you will end up loosing money, always be smart with your investment and the idea behind investing in risky markets which are highly volatile is to get in and get out at the right moment and if you are able to do that you are going to make a fortune, if not you will end up burning everything you have as well.
If you are not having the skills to monitor that then do not take the risk and invest in pump and dump coins.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 06, 2021, 12:33:26 PM
~
The intervention from the Olympic Association will be once in 4 years but it will be an intervention on the independence of the cricket boards. Which no cricket board would want. But if the Cricket will be included in the Olympics, the boards will benefit a lot by financially. They can make a lot of money from sponsors and TV broadcasters.
They will get the sponsors if the people gravitate towards cricket and including cricket in the Olympics is the first step and then it might take over a decade for it to attract the fans, so it is going to be a long process. The reason Indian cricket is rich with huge sponsors is because they have a huge population who follow the matches and it is a huge marketing opportunity for the sponsors and when other countries reach that level that they can also reap the same benefits.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: June 06, 2021, 10:04:34 AM
Countries where bitcoin transactions take place are being recognized as superior countries.
So I think all the countries that have been banned, those countries, if the ban on bitcoin or virtual coins is lifted, then those countries will move forward.
I think you are confusing things here, the countries that banned Bitcoin are usually dictatorial in nature and the people usually does not have a say and you can check out the countries that banned them and once you are under that rule who wants total domination you cannot expect those countries to be superior to developed countries. In my opinion there is no way any government can come out with any blanket ban as there are always other options to make the transaction.

Big companies can transact with Bitcoin very easily and securely. It will also increase their time and will be safe.
For this reason, the transactions of Bitcoin will increase a lot by 2025.
If you are looking at the graph on adoption it is possible that we will see a much bigger adoption in the next 5 years.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 05, 2021, 11:52:43 PM
I am glad as a bitcoin enthusiast if the news is true that a country is considering it as a legal tender which is a huge thing but i was more surprised by the fact that 70% of the population does not have a bank account which means either they are really poor or not earning enough to create a bank account or making any trade to create an account and if that is the situation what will be the advantage even if they make Bitcoin a legal tender.

Let them allow and in due time we will see how many people adopted Bitcoin in El Salvador and whether there will be an increase in Bitcoin users simply because the government wanted it to be a legal tender.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 05, 2021, 10:59:00 PM
Paulo Costa is on the road to get kicked out of UFC after he refused to fight against Jared Cannonier saying that he never signed a fight and tha he wants to get paid more to fight.
Kevin Gastelum will replaced him and he will fight against Cannonier on August 21, and after this refusal and Israel Adesanya kicking his ass for title fight he will have hard time finding someone to fight withhim.
I have seen this update in social media where Paulo Costa himself said that he is not willing to fight Jared Cannonier and he thinks he deserves a title shot next  Cheesy.

I am not placing a lot of bets in the event but still since the main event is a Heavyweight bout Augusto Sakai and Jairzinho Rozenstruik i am not expecting the fight to go the distance and my other pick will be Marcin Tybura and Miguel Baeza .
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Run from Bitcoin. Ethereum will flip it on: June 05, 2021, 10:09:24 PM
I'm sure that Ethereum has more potential than this, and even we don't see their full potential yet. but bitcoins are quite different, in that they become the center of all crypto. maybe not from a market cap or a technology point of view, but from a public point of view and also the public's familiarity with crypto will always go towards bitcoin
Looks like you are not following the upgrades that is proposed in Bitcoin, Ethereum is upgrading and it has its own issues on scaling and they are moving the network to POS and i do think it is going to be more centralized than what it is now as the decisions will be taken by the people with more coins and we all know who have those kind of coins to make decisions.

The potential of Ethereum is that it is a programming language and anyone who has the basic programming skills can develop decentralized application on top of it and it has its own merits and demerits and that is not going to flip Bitcoin as a currency Tongue.

1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 05, 2021, 01:48:52 PM
~If the final ends as a draw then both team will share the trophy. The final match will be played on June 18th to 22nd. There is also a reserve day. Read this article to know how and when the reserve day will be used (What happens if World Test Championship Final ends in a draw)
I was not aware of the reserve day but it is a good proposition if they have any delays during the 5 days they can use the reserve day to complete the match but i do not like to see these teams sharing the WTC trophy even if it is a draw, playing throughout the year to reach this position and then sharing the trophy does not create interest. They need to come up with something like two match finals and in the current scenario it is highly unlikely we will see two matches going for a draw.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dot, Next Ethereum on: June 05, 2021, 11:23:00 AM
There was an opportunity for any similar project to take advantage of the higher transaction fees of Ethereum and we all knows that Binance took that opportunity and run away with it with its BSC chain even though they were copied from Ethereum they have taken care of the situation and so is the reason they were successful and they have the platform to provide the publicity while the rest of the projects lacked to take that opportunity.

I have no idea about the projects in DOT and i am waiting to see how long it can go in order to take that mantle.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 05, 2021, 10:12:02 AM
Today there has been an official announcement from the Oman Cricket Association. They have expressed their willingness to co-host the ICC T20 World Cup. OCA want the matches to be played in Al Amerat ground, Muscat. If approved, this will be the first time that Oman is hosting a global ICC championship. ICC is going to take the decision only on 28th June, so it is going to be a 4 weeks wait for everyone.
How many international standard cricket stadiums Oman have. From searching they do have only one stadium for cricket and it is impossible to conduct the entire World Cup in a single stadium and only a few International matches were conducted in that stadium and that too associate team matches.

Today also India reported close to 3,400 deaths from COVID, and there is hardly any improvement.
Even if the situation gets better in a few months the risk is really high to conduct the tournament in India as i heard about a virus variant from India and it is good to move the tournament to other country for the smooth running for the tournament.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 05, 2021, 06:41:10 AM
The only purpose to divide the final in best of 3 is to find the absolute winner. A team may win by luck in a single match but usually the best team  comes out as a winner in the best of three format. However, this should be done for the one days and T20 where element of luck is more. In a test match, usually the best team comes out as a winner.
I would agree with that as one match final could end up in a draw and then they will be sharing the WTC cup and i do not want to see that happening and i am hoping that we will see a result but we will hear more about the tournament format changing if there is a boring draw  Cheesy. Both New Zealand and India is playing in neutral ground and there is no home advantage and hence there is no undue advantage for any team.
