[banned mixer] Mixer Review Program #2
Bitcointalk username: examplens

I looked at your reports about the changes you implemented and possibly those you don't want to change, which were suggested in the previous review campaign. So I won't go back much on the already mentioned problems here.
I also understood that you give priority to suggestions, so I won't deal with much, we praise what I am satisfied with. And there are a lot of good things here  Wink

Website design and usability

- I noticed that you do not have a custom error 404 page created, as part of an SEO strategy it is desirable to have that.
- I won't dwell too much on this, but I would like to see a bit more contrast in the dark mode
- Is there a possibility to add a paste from the clipboard button in this address box? I think it would make it easier to use, especially for users with mobile devices. (you already have a copy from the clipboard button in the deposit address field)

- A similar option copy transaction ID in clipboard would be welcome in order review if someone still wants to check their transaction further

- I would add a fee calculator on the fee page. The calculator is available only after starting the mixing process and solving the captcha, so why not make it available to new visitors who want to first research all about your service.
- Hint clouds are a bit complicated, actually their closure. If you open two or more, they must be closed only in the reverse order, and only by clicking on the question mark icon. I tried this on a mobile device as well, it could have become almost frustrating.

- I would add in the FAQ that the mixing time starts from the moment of the first confirmation. It seems banal, but for example, the fee varied quite a bit during my process, so the first confirmation came with a lot of delay. Even though your timer works almost perfectly, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone complaining about the delay of your service, while sending Bitcoin at 2 satoshis per byte.
- I am surprised that you maintain the position that a thread on Bitcointalk is sufficient for support. This is one of the good solutions, but if a potential new user gets stuck with a problem, he has to go through registration on the forum (which he may not have wanted). But what if he encounters an additional problem with registration on the forum, he will feel cheated. It is a very realistic scenario, you can find out more here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5350381.0
- Support chat looks fun, I like it, but as a solution, it seems slow. For example, I sent a request and received a uniform response that I might have to wait 12 hours. If I have a problem and my funds are stuck with you, I might start to panic. Of course, I won't sit next to the chat for 12 hours, but what if someone calls while I'm away, I'll wait for 12 hours again.
- So, one more support channel is probably mandatory.
- Set up a Twitter account or remove it from the page.

Mixing

- For the first mixing, I used the Opera One(version: 103.0.4928.34) browser
- I used Basic security level, and P2SH as the final destination address
- I think I already suggested this. Without downloading the letter of guarantee, it should not be possible to continue the whole process. I'm sure some don't understand the importance of that.
- In the whole process, I did not come across any unclear steps and everything went without any ambiguities.

- Although it's not a big deal, Blockchair found a privacy issue (I saw that you already shared their report)

Quote
Matched addresses identified
Using several indicators we were able to link the similar types of addresses involved in this transaction. We identified which of the recipient addresses possibly belong to one or more senders. Such matching significantly reduces the anonymity of addresses.

- Of course, I did the second mixing using the TOR site
- Now, I use the PREMIUM security level, using two deposit addresses, one bech32 and one taproot.
- I used the mixing code obtained in the previous review campaign and after checking, I did not manage to find a connection with my previous coins, nor in the other transaction.
- Although it is a premium level, I still expected a higher level of anonymity. It is very easy to connect that I received bitcoins from the same source at both addresses. This needs to be improved.

- I'm not sure if it's because I put too short a time gap between the two addresses for the deposit delay. Maybe I should try again, the first transaction to be after 30 minutes and the second after 70 hours. Would that change the matter? If this has an impact, you should mention it during mixing or at least in the FAQ section.
- I think I saw your statement somewhere that you will use all types of addresses to increase the level of anonymity, but on your side, I didn't notice you using any other than bech32. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

I can't resist the feeling that I forgot to write something.  Embarrassed When I remember, I will probably continue in the ANN thread

It was really fun for me to participate in your campaigns, I hope you got useful suggestions.
Good luck with your business.
1102  Economy / Service Discussion / Transaction fee in chart expressed in Bitcoin not USD, any tool? on: October 25, 2023, 04:21:48 PM
In some analyses, I need to know the TX fee for each block from the previous period. Of course, expressed in sat/vB.
Is there a tracking tool like this? Manually can be tiring
Everything I've found is in US dollars, which isn't very helpful to me, especially when there's huge volatility in the value of Bitcoin like the last few days. Plus, all known charts (at least to me) only have an average value for a specific day, and that's not very helpful to me.
1103  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov is deleting self-moderated topics. He now goes onto my Ignore list. on: October 25, 2023, 01:05:27 PM
There were several criticisms here for the too-frequent opening of new threads to celebrate his achievements on the forum, plus plagiarism charges. He obviously wants to remove all references, at least those under his control.
It doesn't bother me personally that he deleted a few of my posts. Still, with everything from GazetaBitcoin's thread a bit disappointing from someone who is really trying to build a reputation here.

So basically he moves his topics to archive, deletes his own posts from the topic, then the replies for those posts by others become irrelevant, and finally he reports the entire topic to the moderator to delete the whole topic.

In doing so, he moved some of them to the Russian local board.  Undecided For example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379199
1104  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: October 25, 2023, 11:25:33 AM
I wouldn't participate in any voting or elections if I know that results won't significantly change anything.
First improve DT system, than ask people to join or leave.

LoyceV is right, what you claim is completely contradictory. If we're talking about improving the forum, it's completely wrong to say, do something, and if I think it's good, I'll be a part of it. If all those who have the capacity to improve something are excluded, who can be expected to do it?

1106  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2023 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: October 25, 2023, 09:48:27 AM
For 99.999% of mixer users, these commissions are not available, since such transactions are rare.

But there is still a possibility to get a discount on the basic 0.4%, so this information is correct.
Maybe LeGaulois can add some kind of footnote for such cases. Just enough for users to be informed that it is necessary to fulfil certain criteria for the lowest fee.

This reminds me of the ads on TV that show prices and then find out that in order to get that value, the buyer has to meet a lot of conditions.

I totally agree with you on this, I'm not a fan of "up to" offers.
1107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2023 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: October 25, 2023, 08:25:59 AM
0.2% can only go to those who were given a tumbler-code with a 50% discount, that is, the winners of various competitions that were held on this forum. For all, the minimum level is 0.4%.

Low fees, i.e. discounts up to 50%, not exclusively as a reward for forum users it is available to everyone under certain conditions. Additional discounts can be obtained depending on the total amount you mix through the service.

Here are the tables https://[banned mixer]/fee

Growing Together I Decided to Put the System into Operation

I assume that it is not a paid position, but you are expecting someone on a volunteer basis.
Have you done any analysis at all, how much is needed for another cryptocurrency talk forum? What is the goal you want to achieve with it?

Just a few days ago, you were selling this domain, what are the guarantees that you won't sell it in a few months, so someone who volunteered with you just wasted his time.

Let's read some neutral feedback.
I've said it before: when I read such feedback, filled with name calling, I don't take it seriously. And it tells me a lot about the user who left that feedback.

The same feedback left by different users can have a completely different weight, regardless of the personal trust list. One of the reasons why more experienced forum members do not participate in large numbers in such discussions is whether someone should be a DT member or not.
Perhaps this makes it difficult for newcomers to understand the entire DT system.
1111  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List Of Scam websites by Learn Bitcoin on: October 24, 2023, 02:15:44 PM
If you noticed, most of those who created such lists stopped, either because they needed daily updating or because their search was not in-depth with all scam services and sites.

A daily update is not necessary, it would then be at the level of a regular job. Once per week or even a month is enough.

I am not sure if such threads are useful or not. But someone encouraged me to post about scam sites in the forum if I find any.

Of course, it's useful. If your list saves money for at least one user, it is a successful result. Even if a scam service stops working, you have left a warning on a specific domain. At some point, someone might want to buy such a domain for regular business, but there are still references that the domain is "dirty".

OP, maybe you should formulate the thread name differently. "List Of Scam websites by Learn Bitcoin" can be interpreted as if this is a list of your fraud sites, where you are their owner. I would rather write something like "List Of Scam websites exposed by Learn Bitcoin".
1112  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Mining Software Development To Earn Bitcoin on: October 24, 2023, 12:10:43 PM
Your post is just a bunch of neural network -generated word salad, so if you have an actual bitcoin mining product or service which you have already developed, you should share that here if you want to get any contact or business over it. These kind of topics are a waste of time for topic starter and for the people reading it.

Bitcoin stands as a pioneer, captivating the world with its decentralized nature and the promise of financial revolution. At the heart of this groundbreaking innovation lies the intricate process of Bitcoin mining, supported by robust software that makes it all possible. Today, let's unravel the mystery behind Bitcoin mining software development and understand how it plays a pivotal role in the functioning of the cryptocurrency.

The Basics of Bitcoin Mining:

Bitcoin mining is the backbone of the cryptocurrency network, ensuring the security and legitimacy of transactions. Miners, equipped with powerful computers, compete to solve complex mathematical puzzles. The first miner to successfully solve the puzzle gets the opportunity to add a new block to the blockchain and is rewarded with newly minted bitcoins.

The Need for Specialized Software:

Mining Bitcoin isn't as simple as it sounds. It requires specialized software that facilitates communication between the miner's hardware and the Bitcoin network. This software is designed to efficiently handle the complex computations involved in solving cryptographic puzzles, ensuring a seamless mining experience.

Key Components of Mining Software:

1. Stratum Protocol:
Mining software uses the Stratum protocol to connect to the mining pool. A mining pool is a collective of miners who combine their computational power to increase the chances of solving a block. Stratum protocol ensures efficient communication between individual miners and the pool.

2. Mining Algorithm:
Bitcoin uses a specific hashing algorithm called SHA-256. Mining software must implement this algorithm to perform the necessary calculations for solving cryptographic puzzles. The efficiency of the algorithm directly impacts the mining speed and success rate.

3. Graphical User Interface (GUI):
Many mining software packages come with a user-friendly interface, allowing even those with limited technical knowledge to engage in Bitcoin mining. The GUI provides a dashboard that displays vital information such as hash rate, temperature, and earnings.

The Evolution of Mining Software:

Bitcoin mining software has undergone significant evolution since the early days of the cryptocurrency. Initially, miners could use simple CPUs, but as the network grew, more computational power was required. This led to the development of GPU and ASIC mining, and corresponding software had to adapt to these changes.

Challenges and Innovations:

The world of Bitcoin mining software development is not without its challenges. Continuous innovations are required to keep up with the evolving landscape of cryptocurrencies and ensure the security and efficiency of the mining process. Developers must navigate issues such as scalability, security vulnerabilities, and adapting to changes in the Bitcoin protocol.

Conclusion:

In the grand scheme of Bitcoin, mining software development is the unsung hero, enabling individuals and groups to participate in the creation and validation of the cryptocurrency. As technology advances and the crypto space continues to evolve, so too will the software that underpins the intricate dance of Bitcoin mining, ensuring the ongoing success and decentralization of this groundbreaking financial system.

Can you provide an overview of real transactions?

I will suggest you do your own research (as for any service). Nothing can sufficiently explain a service to you like personal experience.
In the end, you are part of a promotional campaign. It is to be expected that you test the service you are advertising, at least once.

For example, I want to mix 0.002 btc, what is the total cost I have to pay for network fees and simbad service fees? Do network costs also depend on network density?

The calculator on the site, which lucifur also mentioned, is quite adequate and will give you a precise calculation of the cost of the entire transaction. You can use it even without finishing the whole mixing process.
The only thing that affects the current state of the network is the transaction fee you will pay when depositing on Sinbad.io

So, for your example, if you send 0.002 BTC, using a 1% service fee, the math looks like this
0.002 - 0.00002 1% mixing fee - 0.0002 service fee per each address = 0.00178 BTC

note: Sinbad, not simbad  Wink
1115  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: October 23, 2023, 11:31:03 PM
First of all, you made a mistake in the very beginning. It is always wrong to directly transfer funds between exchanges and other services like gambling, mining pools etc...

Why did it have to be sent there too?

The company that used this address can verify that no money was stolen or anything either, I assume that they are willing to do a meeting with Razer as well to verify this.

Man, @holydarkness gave you the most likely explanation, of why the money was sent to the address from which the last deposit came. Obviously, there was a reason why they insisted on KYC and all checks, and their decision was not to risk further with AML.
Will repost again

IIRC, many casinos established a rule when someone was suspected to do an AML and prove their source of income [which are not from ML activities], they can only withdraw to their deposit address, let's call it a second layer of prevention against AML.

Dude bitcoin is literally raising so much right now I feel so fucking sad about this. I beg for this situation to be fixed man Sad

I would say that as far as Rolbit is concerned, your case is closed. The money was returned from their side, and it is certain that they will not send money again. Sorry for your loss, but you must accept that.  Sad

3 months ago, I have decided to permanently delete my Binance account. Meanwhile, I havent used binance since 2022.

The majority of my actions and decisions are based upon this forum.

Just one more note to anyone like me having coins from KYC exchanges. It is ok to have them, just don't mix them with the non-kyc ones. Privacy is everything. If you want to get rid of your KYC coins, that's even better and you will find many ideas in the forum.

I don't know if you know, but the Mixtum which you promote in your signature, enter Bitcoins into their service that originate from exchanges Binance, OKEx, DigiFinex, Cryptonex etc...
It is highly likely that some payments came to you from one of those KYC exchanges.

So, simple-swap.net is scam.

This is further complicated by the fact that you all use universal word swap. Yes, it is completely suitable for this purpose, but it is therefore also widely used by all exchangers.

btw. what is happening with your site swaplab.cc ?

1118  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: October 23, 2023, 09:26:11 PM
What I wanted to ask is whether the user can send two transactions with a value lower than the minimum, which in total is higher. In this case, the mixing is done in the same way.

I think we all understood you well. One transaction, where the minimum is 0.001btc is correct. Everything else is considered a donation to the mixer.
This is very clearly emphasized in the mixing process, so there really shouldn't be any confusion

Quote
The address is valid for 24 hours. Minimum possible amount for this address: 0.001 BTC, maximum amount: 983.15215706 BTC. Use the address only once.

For example, in case you have an amount of 0.0009BTC in two different wallets, the best(only) option is to first consolidate and combine them into one wallet and after that send as much as you want to the mixer.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering with bitcoin in countries ? on: October 23, 2023, 04:59:25 PM
How do you think this idea would be to provide Bitcoin traffic for money laundering by 2.3 trusted people at certain points in the world?

If we ignore for a moment the illegality of what you propose, this is a great idea.  Shocked
Then, after a year or two, you begin to harmonize your platform with legal regulations you start asking all your users for mandatory KYC, otherwise, they won't be able to access their funds.
1120  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: October 23, 2023, 04:31:48 PM
Nowadays, we are seeing campaigns where there is a merit-rank, enabling those with 3k or 4k of earned merits better pay rates than the rest of the participants. If you earn 2k and start thinking, now I don't care anymore and can relax, your position may be filled by someone who didn't relax. So, they have their uses. Let's call it that.

You are absolutely right here, although I see it differently. In terms of merit, it should not be normal for the user to "relax" and not earn more merits. I want to say, does it have to be a battle for every merit or should it still be possible to get them with a relaxed attitude towards it?
Should Legendary users submit their posts in various prize "unmerited post to be merited" contests, or create an endless "overview of XYZ" threads, which was able to help in getting merit?
