1101  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: When you start bfgminer not find USB device. on: August 26, 2014, 11:15:34 AM

What is your libusb version?
1102  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Miners connected to A RPI on: August 26, 2014, 11:10:22 AM

Yeah, no problem. IIRC the RPi won't go to the max USB connections as per USB spec (256?), but you can connect many. I'm sure you are aware that some models only support 150mA on the USB ports. The official USB spec is for the USB unit to wait for a 5V signal from the host, which then draws some power as well. It depends how your miner or hub implements that (or not). In my experience it works better using a powered hub, even it the miner is "powered".
1103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Something wrong with the blockchain? on: August 25, 2014, 09:07:50 AM
Which wallet are you using? It seems ticking over just nicely as it should: http://btc.blockr.io/

There was a very long block at 317380 / 317381. It took one and a half hours.

Edit: Interesting block: 317381
Transactions: 2358
Total Sent: 102,594.37 BTC
Size: 731.58
1104  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: When you start bfgminer not find USB device. on: August 24, 2014, 11:00:23 PM
I have not installed these drivers.
You can write me how to download these drivers in Linux?
I am a beginner.

I build on Lubuntu not too long ago and don't recall having to install any drivers. You need to use the appropriate flag when building though.

I don't see you mentioning which USB mining hardware you are using?
1105  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: No work being done AVALON 2 220GH/s on: August 24, 2014, 10:49:42 PM

How did you compile cgminer? Your title says "AVALON 2", but the log says "ID=AVA" which is for Avalon 1. Avalon 2 should show as AV2. Compile with --enable-avalon2

1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.9.2.1 has been released on: August 24, 2014, 08:09:28 PM
Why are the two core versions not compatible with the same database?

Because things change in beta software.

Anything in the debug log?

This can get you started quicker, might not solve your problem though: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145386.0
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: "Error opening block database. Do you want to rebuild the block database now?" on: August 24, 2014, 10:12:13 AM

If you worked with computers for many years, surely you have a backup.

The file you are looking for is called wallet.dat; the default location is here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory

1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Mixing Services: Linking Inputs to Outputs? on: August 20, 2014, 09:37:35 AM

Not a mixing user myself, but one of the recommendations I heard (with relation to coinjoin though) is to use two or more exact same output amounts.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problem with Bitcoin-Qt , please help on: August 18, 2014, 08:06:58 AM

If I'm not mistaken, there is only one node that you will get block data from, called syncnode. If that one is a slow one, you're waiting. You can see which one it is in the debug window using " getpeerinfo ". You could try deleting the file peers.dat (when QT is closed), although you might get (very) unlucky and it connects to the same syncnode again.
