11161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: February 06, 2016, 09:47:25 PM
Moreover next version will also allow commenting of blogposts to make the social network even better Wink.
Next version will also most likely contain a hardfork, because we want to extend the arbitrary transactions to contain optional multiple receiver, which allows to transfer funds while modifying namestorage.
This could be used to send e.g. 10 qora to the postowner if you like his blogpost.

That is great news for Qora. It will make it all even more interesting than usual. Prices are dirt cheap so I'd better grab some Qora before it goes all the way up to the moon!

By the way, can anyone tell me what is the PoS rate % for Qora staking? Just asking becuase I have checked the site recently, but it doesn't seem to provide in depth specs of Qora's PoS.  Smiley

There's not really any PoS rate %. The supply is fixed, so the only way you get a reward for staking (I believe it's properly called forging, a la NXT), are the tx fees you get.

If that is so, then I think it makes it fair for staking (unlike other PoS coins). Pretty cool. I'll try this out with a bunch of Qora that I am going to transfer into to my wallet. The next thing that I am going to try out is the Asset Exchange.  Grin
11162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different ---- VPN & SYNC ---- YoBit & SafeCEX ---- on: February 06, 2016, 07:31:35 PM

Yobit
24High: 0.00009868 BTC
Last: 0.00006622 BTC
24Low: 0.00006622 BTC

Safecex
24High: 0.00009995 BTC
Last: 0.00005982 BTC
24Low: 0.00005390 BTC

Things are moving on  Cool

Looks like it is going pretty well for Warp if you tell me. And this is only the beginning. I think that once Warp's features like the VPN are complete, there will be much more interest into it and price will go all the way up to the moon. I'd better grab some cheap Warp now and put them to stake.  Grin
11163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: February 06, 2016, 06:34:30 PM
Time to dump tek

Price keeps going downward for TEKcoin. You can check Coinmarketcap to verify this. Can anyone tell me why is this happening? Is this a result of dumps or what happened with Cryptsy? Each time the price goes down, I keep loosing money but I don't dump all my coins yet, because I have hope that the price might recover sometime.  Undecided
11164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2016, 06:31:55 PM

I admit i lost alot too because of my inexperience. Well, now i only can go after them in the hope to get at least something back, whose chances are pretty slim and i try to prevent scams from happening as being an escrow. Actually that works pretty good since i already stopped a lot of scams by simply existing and by seeing the problems and stopping a trade. Smiley

That also happened to me when I first started with Bitcoin. I was always depending on so called cloud mining services but it turned out that most of then turned scam and I have lost a huge amount of Bitcoins. Now I only use my Bitcoins mostly with escrow and try to avoid cloud mining at all costs. Sometimes I wish I could get my BTC back, especially from cloudminr.io but I think that is far to become a reality.  Sad

Now I am growing my BTC by signature campaigns, and trading alts.

11166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] Quark based, CPU mining, faucet, explorer, pool, wallet on: February 06, 2016, 06:16:27 PM
We now own the domain and control the content of www.QuarkCoins.com

This website will be edited to help direct the 2000+ unique visitors per month towards the MUE project (being a quark based coin).

You will see if you Google things like "quark coin" "quarkcoins" "quark based coins" etc etc this website is listed 1 in Google for these and other keywords.

It will hopefully be a worthwhile investment, and a good addition to our portfolio.

Excellent move you did there. Now this will definitely bring those new people or investors into MUE and move this project forward. Having more than 2000 visitors per month, means that the MUE project might be getting more exposure and increase awareness.  Grin

What up with that silver amber coin DEV?

Hey about the silver Ambercoin, what do I need to do to get one? Is it only for shareholders only or can it be bought separately? Sorry for asking, but I haven't had the time to go to the thread and read about it since there are a lot of replies here.  Smiley
11168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: February 06, 2016, 06:07:40 PM
If you guys want TEKcoin on YOBIT, it is 0.1 BTC to get it added on there.

We can raise the 0.1BTC pretty quick and get it added in few days, Yobit is way better than cryptopia volume wize and from there we can get it added on C-cex and Bittrex faster because on yobit it will generate better volume.

Here is the BTC address:15BQZTPsPk32nYDTXRx8kKW2B56irERJgD

Let's come as a community and help the coin.

Thank you.

Have you donated anything? It s strange you require other people to donate on you re no in???!!!

I am sure he will ! what about you ?

I deal only with coin where there s active dev team. Havent seen anyone even close to dev here for a long time. So, thx but I ll pass. Good luck.

Maybe the day will come when another dev could make Tekcoin better. Then it would have been worth it to hold Tekcoins all this time. It is sad to see that there isn't any new improvements at all, but still it is a great PoS coin. I am patient and will keep buying Tekcoins at cheap prices to increase my stakes.

Let's hope and see if Tekcoin could get added to Yobit and other exchanges as well.  Smiley

Last year we voted for adding VirtaCoin at C-Cex and won the voting but VirtaCoin still don't listed because this [ANN] thread not updated with actual information. Official Site, Downloads, Links to wallet downloads, Block Explorer, Pools, Exchanges, Services etc.

Well, maybe a new ann thread could be made with updated links to exchanges, block explorer, etc right? Perhaps, even VTA could get a fresh new look with a new logo (if that is ok) and a new wallet too. I don't know if that is possible but if so, it would really change things to VTA and gain the attention of new investors as well.  Smiley
11171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: February 06, 2016, 01:19:59 AM
EXP chart look very good, this will be strong month for EXP!

I hope so because I am holding plenty of EXP just in case the next price surge comes by. Seeing how ETH is getting pumped hard these days, makes me wonder when will the same happen for EXP?  Sad

I am just patient because I know it could be very rewarding in the long term.

I suggest you to dump all EXP you have and buy ETH.
Or.
Trust yourself....

Thanks for reply but I already hold some Ether of my own, safely secured on a paper wallet. I was lucky to buy a few of them when prices were really cheap (at $0.85 per ETH) and now all has been nothing but pure profits to me.  Cheesy

In the case of EXP, even though price has not been moving upwards, I am confident that it will someday. I have faith in EXP and I am holding them for the future.  Grin

Doesn't work!

Always stops at High Score 1

 Grin

Lol. Try playing again since I think that you are crashing into the first pipe, each time you start the game. Same thing happens to me with Flappy Birds game, but I will get there. I just got lucky once in a Flappy Bird game and my highest score was 3, but other than that I'm still stuck in 1.

This Flappy Magi game is interesting. I have been playing it for a few minutes and got a highscore of 4!  Grin

http://klyemax.com/ accepts XMG as payment option. It's an adult xxx webcam site, only accepting coins for payment.  Wink

Thanks for sharing this. Things like these makes me want to spend more XMG in it. I would definitely take a look into it. Say, any chance of getting a game where you could spend and earn XMG at the same time? That would certainly be fun, but it is just a suggestion.  Grin
Hope Magi will receive more info about a game. Think Goldlabel is working on that. Smiley

That is wonderful, because I have many great ideas of a game that would sure be fun. I may not be a game designer but I do have some great creativity. How about making a mini game of Magi which would look similar to Flappy Birds? It would be called Flappy Magi and every time you make your coin fly over the pipes or obstacles, you get points just like Flappy Birds, but the difference is that you would be earning XMG by doing that. Earnings would be paid in satoshis or should I say Magoshi.  Roll Eyes
Oke Flappy Magi is done  Tongue

Awesome! It looks fantastic. And it would be a lot better if you could earn some satoshis (or magoshis) if you beat up a high score! I imagine this also as an Android app, but still this one is very fun and addicting. Glad you came up with it.  Grin
11174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD... on: February 05, 2016, 02:23:31 AM

Bitcoin is dead should be translated to i want to buy bitcoin. Its funny how people even waste the time bothering to post about how dead it is.  Probably got buy orders in below i should imagine.

It was all just a scheme for Hearn to buy up some cheap BTC while the price recovers back up and get huge profits. While the news was spread among different media (with the purpose to destroy Bitcoin) it has in part been a good thing for it in order to lower prices a little more and buy cheap Bitcoins. Some of my profits from part time job goes to Bitcoin, so I am buying cheap BTC as well and storing it on paper wallets for the next price increase. The halving would bring pretty interesting results to the price, I guess. Bitcoin is far from being dead. It is much more alive than what you can think of. (probably even most than other alts)  Smiley

Nice Java GUI wallet beta released by SG-O, for those that don't like to work in command line Smiley
https://forum.decred.org/threads/java-gui-wallet.382/

Some of features implemented are:
- Show balance
- Show a certain number of transactions
- Lock and unlock wallet
- Sending Decreds to an address

This version has only been tested on Windows 7
Tanks to SG-O for the effort, users community rocks and i'm already loving this coin  Wink

Pretty cool effort. I like the idea, especially when I could use it on any operating system that supports Java (which makes it kinda like portable) Decred just keeps on giving and giving. I can't wait for the mainnet launch.  Cheesy

Vote For VirtaCoin on new exchange. SafeCex is yet another anonymous cryptocoin exchange.

You need sign up. After click on this link https://safecex.com/coin/add?q=VTA and vote!

You can count on my vote. Virtacoin hasn't had any new development or updates, but still I can see that the price is maintained stable over the past days. Sometimes, price goes a little up but then goes back to the way it was. I wonder what happened with the dev. Is this coin still maintained by someone else?  Sad

VirtaCoin maintained by VirtaCoin community.

Thank's for your vote  Smiley  Last developments:

Block explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vta/

VirtaLocal Project:
http://www.virtalocal.com/

Now you can send SMS from online wallet: https://virtacoinwallet.eu/

The SMS feature is the most recent addition to VirtacoinWallet. The beauty of VTA2SMS is that it works the same all over the planet.
Just put in the mobile number you want to send your message to, enter your message and pay the calculated price in VTA. It's really that simple.
The price depends on the country the mobile number was registered in.

VirtaCoin Online Wallet now offer bulk SMS services at competitive price levels. VTA2SMS also offers an easy to use API which
will make it possible for everyone to integrate SMS services into their website or business.

We are waiting for new development VirtaCoin Kiva Fund  where you can get 2% interest from your VirtaCoin holdings:

Keep your finger on VirtaCoin pulse: https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtaCoin/

I guess I have been a little away from VTA and didn't realize its true potential. Those are some pretty good improvements if you tell me, but sometimes I wonder why VTA is so undervalued? My favorite feature is the VirtaCash.  Grin
11179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: February 04, 2016, 08:29:01 PM
Poloniex has been disabled Qora deposit and withdrawal. Any information why they disabled the function?

I've been noticing a lot of work has been going on in Github (I get the updates sent to my email.)  Maybe some bugs are being fixed.  I have a fair chunk of Qora sitting on Polo.  I'd rather not see it go.

Qora is improving everyday and will eventually become the greatest alt coin ever. By me, I think it is one of the best, due to its features but sometimes it needs more promoting to gain the attraction of new investors. I am just patient waiting for the perfect time to strike.  Smiley

Thank you for the donations yesterday on slack (litebit, allien), I'm still little bit short for my bills this month. So far i raised  [0.27226128 of the 1.1BTC] and [1399 SDC] my BTC: 1o4nzUUXTDEGXCtEJomoyM1irn8Uxfg1D and SDC: SbMvzNDrYJLWTYMMBeozZWfiv9QPUjGSWm

I finished this month:

  • Market (overview page with thumbnail listing/tables view, listings page, add item in shopping basket, user/id profile page for market)
  • Restyled almost all sections in the wallet
  • Made better key management section (more logic)
  • Better send page (split in send payment/balance transfer)
  • More user-friendly/helpers (?) in all sections
  • Tweaks / bug-fixes and more..

I'm now very close with GUIv2, still on my to-do-list, 2 sections on market + tweaks, shadowchat tweaks, key management tweaks, modals, bugs and minor tweaks + code clean-up.

Screenshot of SDC latest send section:

I'll keep you all posted,

-crz

Lots of exciting features are coming in for SDC,  and that is a good sign because it can overcome most anon coins out there like Dash. Adopting Zcash would be a splendid idea, especially in the ShadowMarket which might become a better alternative than OpenBazaar. I am keeping an eye on this one, buying ans staking SDC as much as I can.  Grin
