1121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 15, 2023, 08:54:49 PM
If you can win money even without putting money at first then I think yes it can qualify as gambling
Depends on the game too
Poker as an example can be played to make money and won’t be qualified as gambling but as a skill game

On the other hand I wouldn’t be so sure to define something as gambling if you can’t lose money

1123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 15, 2023, 08:24:23 PM
from her in the process of the gambling.

My thoughts, is this how we often feel when we lose out on a bet??
Do you wish the site can refund your money??
Generally  no body loves losing at anything, I mean not just gambling alone but at anything or aspect of life nobody would want to be at bliss losing out. But  it's a normal thing that should be expect in gambling that the odds of losing is very much higher to winning. And in the very way any person would feel when they win they should in same manner coordinate feel too when they lose.

Quote
Gambling should be your choice, you shouldn't let anyone compel or persuade you into it.
It's very bad forcing or persuading anyone to get into gambling, for such a person you will always be a nightmare to them whenever they think of how much they have loss in their journey into gambling. You will always be blamed for persuading them into it  and that's why it's good to allow people get into gambling out of their own volition so that come what may, they're saddle with the responsibility.themselve's.

Usually I’d say that persuading somebody into doing anything is not good
Each person has their way and their choices and of course we influence each other but there are more subtle influences and hard ones

When it comes to an habit that can be harmful it’s better to approach it in a way where each person knows its pros and cons to be alert and decide for themselves
1124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling addiction causes ear deafness? on: June 15, 2023, 06:09:27 PM
It's easier to get addicted to online gambling, but I recently met someone who said that he isn't even aware that he was an addict until his blood brother told him that he is going too deep into gambling.

He said that he screamed to him to wake up scarily, he said his brother is his savior, but I replied to him that he is someone who listened, most gambling addicts that I have came across have closed ears, they won't listen to you when you try to warn them or advice them.

Have you meet gamblers that are going way too deep into addiction and you try to stop them and they listen? I've never accomplished that before.

They always behaved deaf, like some spiritual power is in control.

Each person relates to addiction in a different way
But yes most people won’t listen or react angry when they’re presented with a negative aspect of their personality
It’s rare to find people who look at themselves and try to understand their behavior, from my experience most are just running on automatic

1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: June 13, 2023, 09:14:10 PM
Slot machines are currently meant to offer gamblers more troubles; before one can find out how to win, it will undoubtedly be a long and continuous grind. Everything in the space progresses to the next stage, so we followed the time and tried to adapt to a more comfortable approach, but we scarcely generate profits from gambling any longer, because the entire system is fixed and elited above our standards. Meanwhile, there's no need to panic because there are always ways to start winning from these slots, I'm referring to the smart gamblers, they know what to do.
The only way to win from this slot is to have luck because slots are luck based. Without luck, we will not win even for a small amount. If you can control yourself, the slot machine will not give you many problems instead of being just a tool for having fun. But many have lost from this slot machine, including me, and that is the consequence of playing gambling. We must be prepared for whatever results we will receive so that we will not be too disappointed and think that it is a risk of playing gambling. We have to manage when we play gambling and don't follow our passion to win because that's difficult.

yes, in this terms the best strategy is probably to simply play some times with money that you can affort to loose, dettached from the outcome and stopping after the first win IF it happens

otherwise you'll have a sure way to lose money in the long run.

Hhampuz always stands there when needed and actually even if we are not calling Him about issues and cases ? as long as He is the one involved in advertising ? surely he will act accordingly because His reputation is also at stakes not unless he did not come towards that topic then yes lets call Him in PM.
for how many times that we have seen him directly contacting the team for whatever needed for response , and sometimes? the case is resolved without answering in the said thread because of fast action from the team and manager.
No, there's no relation between the project he managed with his reputation, but surely he will care and contact the support of the project in order to sustain the project for long term. There's no way a good project will avoid to answer and resolve the accusation or complaint toward them.

When there's an accusation created about a big casino by newbie, most of them are only fake accusation because the gambler broke the casino rules or he lose all of his money that he have gambled.
They respond to those who have some claim and showing some evidence otherwise there are many fake accusations against casino without any base just crying because they have lost the money so they won't respond to them and ignoring them is best option.

I don't doubt that owners of other casinos that want to try to make duelbits public image worse would create fake accounts to make fake accusations
something to have an eye on
always best to accuse with proof, otherwise it makes no sense...

Current: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Metaverse" | $5000 up for grabs! ~ Ends July 10th! - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5455662.0
I am surprised to see how many art contest were organised in the year 2021 alone and after that they have limited it and happy also that team has constantly organised them from then. Thanks for sharing the latest contest as was not aware about it as they have dropped it preety soon after declaration of the previous contest winners and congratulations to you as well man Cheesy

well, 2021 was a different year for crypto overall than 2018 or 2022 and 23
bull markets usually have higher marketing spending Cheesy

right?
makes sense for me
1131  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Estados Unidos e sua luta contra as criptos on: June 11, 2023, 02:02:17 PM

1132  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Estados Unidos e sua luta contra as criptos on: June 10, 2023, 12:34:05 PM

1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 10, 2023, 12:11:07 PM
-snip

And just the same, even it's 99% the remaining percentage can still bring you to lose your bet, remember it's gambling and there are many things that will influence the potential outcome, I see the point where it can be developed and it can find more information but the accuracy especially when dealing in gambling, it's something that only luck can accurately dictate your winning chance.
in the end, from 99% there is still 1% luck left. as we saw when Barcelona played against Celta but Barcelona ended up losing, right?
well, this is an obvious case and maybe if using AI to predict the match AI will favor Barcelona because it is clear that the top team already has the perfect strength to beat Celta but luck of surprise and luck is always present in every sporting match.
so everything still depends on luck just like you said.

the best odds are usually against all probabilities too, even in the future with the development of more sophisticated AIs we'll probably won't have AIs predicting black swan events
I can be wrong, of course, it's just what I feel about it right now

We are not going to bring back the guess the slot promotion.
Oops , there it is guys a clarity from the great manager , this answers some of the event questions and maybe the team is planning for another one that will attract gamblers with intensity .
as we knew roobet for years now that they are not just here for business , but also for Partnership in their players and supporters by bringing events after events to give everyone a chance getting their piece of cake.
thanks Boss for this clear answer.

This is the confirmation already and better for us to stop talking about this promotions and just focus on the current events with Roobet. There’s another art contest and probably the team is focusing more on this. Though Roobet always have their promotions online, and on their platform itself if you’re a player you can maximize that one and make your playing experience more fun with Roobet.

about the art contests
just stay tuned here in the forum and in this thread
they usually let people know in advance and there's often a long period to register like 1 month or so

usually they go with no hurry
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 09, 2023, 09:25:12 PM
wishing that team and our manager will consider bringing i back.
The team has its own marketing plans and plan such events according to that but it was good guessing game for all of us but the Roobet team has organised many events like art contest and promotion on twitter alongside it.But maybe they can again launch it if they find it suitable again.
Those are great contest before with Roobet but I think they stopped it because they already achieve their goal and they focus on other marketing option to continue promote the site, and yes Roobet have the best marketing team that knows what to do. Right now, they are focusing here for their signature campaign and the art contest, these two are still doing great. Let’s just hope for more marketing campaign here in the forum or if you missed a lot, try to follow their twitter account as they are posting more options there.

I agree with you in that they are truly doing their best with the marketing with the help of this forum. They have a successful signature campaign on this forum and they run their Art contests in each season. I love their art contests because they give equal rights to all the users of the forum.

I'm sure that they will invest more in promotions in coming days and there will be more art contests from Roobet team. I have joined their site because of an Art contest on this forum, but once I reached their site, I just loved it and I started using the site as a fun activity. The version of crash is truly innovative and it's very addictive at the same time.

yes, it's amazing they're running the signature campaign for more than 100 weeks now
same with duelbits
so cool
I hope they stay around

any idea of how many roobet art contests there are each year? like 7?
One thing that we are sure is that the Art contest coming from all the occasions each year so I guess 6  or 7 is it.
and about the signature campaign ? yeah it is actually more than 150 weeks as per Hhampuz last payment it is 167 weeks to be exact

Round 167 Payments have been sent out[/url]!

and surely will run for more than that in the coming years. as it is running for more than 3 years now and counting .

oh that's amazing
longer than what I expected
much longer in reality

duelbits is a bit shorter going to the week 141

are there any other campaigns going for so long?
1138  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Estados Unidos e sua luta contra as criptos on: June 09, 2023, 09:14:26 PM

2. profit
1139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 09, 2023, 09:06:39 PM
But these bots will partake in anything that they can as long as the requirements are too easy for them to join.
That's why I said that these bot accounts take part in normal giveaways which have no requirements like simple like and retweet for small amounts but there are promotions from the team with wagering requirements also like get bonus codes or freespins with 1x wagering or more and big events see how much you deposit etc which these bots account avoid. But yes we see lot of them participating in Twitter giveaways about which we can't do anything.

having a mix of easy promotions where there'll be bots and more complex one (art contest, gleam stuff with many stages, etc...) may be the way for them
thinking as a company too it's what I mentioned before
a mix of having enough engagement without undermining trust.

One thing we want to mention is that we notice many users enjoying the site without having a verified email. We truly value our community and frequently hold public promotions and giveaways (as you may have seen). However, we also believe in rewarding our users individually (On top of our crazy 37.5% Rakeback Scheme and daily public promos Grin). If your email is not verified, we are unable to contact you. There are a significant number of users who are eligible for personalized bonuses, but we cannot reach out to them due to their unverified emails. Therefore, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR EMAIL IS VERIFIED. If you need assistance, our support team is available 24/7. Smiley

Additionally, we will soon introduce the option to associate an email with Steam and Metamask accounts.

Lastly, we have introduced the My Rewards area - https://duelbits.com/my-rewards. When a user becomes eligible for a personalized bonus, they will be able to claim it from there! Make sure to check out that area frequently in case you have a bonus.

for those who want to bet on duelbits the best way to go is probably verifying email and identity since is a casino that asks for KYC
news users don't sleep on that or let it to last minute.
