1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: May 22, 2023, 11:32:33 AM
I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

No, I'm not getting any on the videos I watched on my active Youtube account linked to my Gmail, my preferences are all about music, movies, and current events so these preferences are what you might be called PG, I never search or watch anything related to gambling on the account and browser which I normally use, but if I want to watch gambling videos I use my other email accounts and my other browsers.

If there are many gambling ads that's because there are many streamers who are actively promoting their streams and many casinos are now active on social media platforms like TikTok, Youtube, and Facebook so it's not really Youtube.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Operator Court Case on: May 21, 2023, 03:07:24 PM
A gambler made 163 bets in a day and the the casino said it acceptable. Because for some high-rolling gamblers, losing around one-third of a bankroll is considered acceptable.  This gambler is in court. He accuses the operator of failing to stop him, which led to a substantial loss. He said that, "the betting activity didn’t raise any red flags at Bet365, and if it did, it didn’t raise them high enough. It took the operator two months to step in after the massive deposit to verify the source of funds, at which time he was already down £46,907 (US$58,657)."

Everything will rely on the casino's terms, players, when they sign up, agree to the terms, and if on the terms there's no limit and it's up to the gambler to control his bets then it's going to be a loss case, he doesn't have a good lawyer his lawyer knows that this is a lost case and like another complaint in the scam section his lawyer is just going to milk him, he should get a second opinion to enlighten him if he should continue the case, anyway I look at this case its a loss case and many will agree that it is.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 21, 2023, 12:24:27 PM
I voted yes this is to protect their platform from players who are good at looking for loopholes just like the two links by asking even selected users to undergo surveys to check that they are still in control of their addiction or they still understand the forum rules and they are following them, casinos can be assured that players will not ask for a refund which is ridiculous or ask why they are allowed to play with huge amounts of money past beyond the normal betting limit.
There are irresponsible gamblers that don't want to accept their losses even if they lose it fair and square and they become imaginative in getting their money back, even threatening to file a case in court.
1124  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ethmine.xyz FAKE CLOUD MINING on: May 20, 2023, 11:10:21 PM
Almost all forms of cloud mining are considered scam, so members should keep away from anything that talks about cloud mining as a source of passive income. It's simply Ponzi schemes that have rebranded and are lying to people that they are actually doing cloud mining

It's an established fact that cloud mining is a new form of Ponzi scheme and you can also buy cloud mining scripts online including fake videos of machines, so people should stop hoping that they really make passive income on gambling.
The last cloud mining I invested in was five years ago and after that, all the platforms that claim that they are real cloud mining were exposed as Ponzi schemes, so people should stop hoping there are legit cloud mining platforms.
1125  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 19, 2023, 02:24:59 PM
What happened:: The user (Shan85) wearing both signatures of Duelbits signature as well as signature of BetterCallRaul (each before receiving the payment.

I did not know this happened mistakenly Sorry. I accept my mistake and I’m ready to refund last week payment to both of you Roysee and Hhampuz. SORRY

Just do it don't just say you are ready because you don't deserve that money, the nerve that you're still holding that money that comes from cheating if you are not caught you will continue to do this and you will not stop, I read your long alibi, and it doesn't go well with the community because it's hard to support who intentionally cheat.
You have to repent, return all the money, and change your way.
1126  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 19, 2023, 01:51:36 PM
Admin stopped responding, there are too many loopholes and there's false information, they cannot claim to be the leading casino, no way its a false claim and you cannot provide stats or data to prove your claim, but the biggest issue here is the refund, it's impossible for a casino to issue a refund, gamblers are not that idiot to try to play and be comfortable to play thousands of dollars because of refund.

I believe you are trying to entice them to play so you can scam them, there's no way for you to make a profit by offering refunds.

[li]Casino di Venezia - Venice, Italy[/li][/list]
Quote
Opened in 1638, it is considered the oldest casino in the world. People still gamble here today. The casino changed its management several times and it is currently owned by the Casino di Venezia Gioco S.p.A. Even though the stately gaming house is almost 400 years old, it is one of the most technically modern casinos in the world. Over 5,000 m² of floor space await players with a large selection of slot machines and table games.

If I am an ardent casino goer I'll definitely want to visit this place and have a bet here and pride myself as one of the casino players that played in the oldest casino and have my picture taken in front of the oldest casino and will even take a deck card for souvenir coming from the oldest casino in the world, they have to keep up modernizing it and upgrading the facilities and they have to still retain the atmosphere of being the oldest casino in the world.
1128  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com not paying out my money on: May 18, 2023, 12:05:58 PM

Take them to court and get your money. If you have legal advice, then pursue. What is stopping you?

I don't think this guy is serious he just wants to create FUD he keeps posting about getting a lawyer and charging Stake in court, his action betrays him if he is serious he will post proof that he is serious like proofs of documents charging Stake.com.
He is just all talks and no action he can go on like this for months and we will not see a single document that will prove that he really charges Stake in court.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 18, 2023, 10:58:11 AM
Yes there are like that in offline casinos, and its called loan shark or accredited lending by casinos, offline casinos are like that as long as you want to play they will let you give you a credit line they made you sign a contract or a promissory note, they are willing to do that because casinos know you personally and they know your financial capability.
It's better to play online than offline casinos because on offline casinos even if you don't have funds anymore, casinos are open to give you a credit line, as long as you you will sign the contract.
I have seen and read about people who go bankrupt because of their loans from casinos.
1130  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com stole hundreds of thousands from me ilegally on: May 18, 2023, 03:26:34 AM
today i contacted my lawyer who thinks i have a strong case to retrieve the money who will be filing a motion in court.

Of course, he will tell you that, all lawyers will say that you have a case even if you don't have a chance you'll be paying him for every representation in court and the case could drag on for years and that means money flowing in his pocket, you are an easy cash cow for any lawyer.
Good luck with your case and next time before you play in a casino be sure you read their terms of service and be a responsible gambler who can take his losses.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.4% People from Bangladesh Hold Cryptocurrency on: May 17, 2023, 02:35:45 PM
Good luck to them, Bangladesh isn’t a very wealthy country so I totally applaud anybody who is trying to make a better life for themselves. 1 Bangladeshi Taka is 0.0093 United States Dollar (I Googled) so these people who are buying & holding bitcoin have my absolute respect.

Not to mention that Bitcoin is illegal in Bangladesh they run the risk of getting charged in court and prosecuted and ending up in jail, this is the power of the internet these holders know the potential of Bitcoin because they can follow what's happening around the world and how Bitcoin create an impact so they prefer to take the risk and hope that when there's a shift in the government or there is a new administrator, that new administration is open for adoption of Bitcoin.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 17, 2023, 12:40:41 PM

And because of that, it's important to seize this opportunity and bet on him with those attractive odds. Loma is going to make sure it's not going to be easy for Haney. We understand that Haney is a smart boxer, but I believe he hasn't faced a boxer as intelligent as Loma. Despite Loma's age, which some may consider him an older boxer, we might be surprised on fight night. Let's watch, see, and enjoy this highly anticipated big fight.
They are both smart in the ring and highly technical boxers, honestly, this could be the first time we'll be seeing two boxers with the same skill although Loma is the most experienced one.

These two boxers are the kind of boxers that always capitalize on their opponent's mistakes and this match will be decided on who will make the most mistake.

I'm excited to see the face-off and I hope we'll see two healthy fighters Loma lose the title because of an injury we don't want to see this happen again.

1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion about sweepstakes and gambling on: May 17, 2023, 10:44:06 AM

2. Is Sweepstakes gambling or not?

I thought that sweepstake is gambling because its a game of luck and you are hoping to win but by definition, it's not gambling, this is why some countries that restrict gambling allow companies to launch sweepstakes because it does not involve betting your own money.

Quote
Sweepstakes are technically not gambling, although they are still based on chance and have the fairly same premise where you will trade something in – be that your time, do something for free, or sign up somewhere, in order to win something.

Are Sweepstakes Considered Gambling?

Quote
What is a Sweepstakes?
By defnition, a sweepstakes is an advertising
or promotional device by which items of value
(prizes) are awarded to participating consumers
by chance, with no purchase or entry fee
required to win.

1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: May 17, 2023, 06:37:17 AM
I will stay away from gambling for a while now that mempool is starting to suck once again.

DON'T GAMBLE IF THE INSTANT WITHDRAWAL IS NOT AVAILABLE!

The network congestion is really a big burden for players I understand your concern I also experienced this way back, and my mindset is like yours while waiting for the network to be OK it's very tempting to try if can add more what we intended to withdraw, it's very risky you don't even notice that you already lose half of what you intended to withdraw so you'll try to win it back until you lose everything.

I hate it when I realize that the network decongests and you lose it all, so whenever there is congestion and I feel like I try my luck I'm using altcoins like Tron or BNB while waiting for the network to be ok.
1135  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 16, 2023, 08:57:56 PM
This is the first time I've seen a member wearing a double signature, it's unethical and this is abuse good that he is caught this early with so many participants attended by bounty managers it's hard to catch this type of person it's good that one of the members caught him.
Now we should be aware of this type of cheater, and we as members should help our managers by checking some of the participants if he is swapping signatures.

Supported both flags.
1136  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A Mail I Received Today.. on: May 16, 2023, 01:58:07 PM
There's a lot of expert advice and warning that people should not open attachments from unknown sources, these scammers and hackers will send you compelling emails so you'll be tempted to open the file.
Control yourself and just believe scammers sent you to hack your system, even the best AV cannot control what will go to your system if you open the file.

Since you have no idea what they are sending it's better to ignore and not respond they will bait you again if you respond.
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 16, 2023, 12:50:24 PM
Is it safe or dumb to use your Credit card for online gambling because of free bonus rewards on signup and initial 3 months purchase? Will you take such risks with your card for such rewards? A friend informed me that some casinos gives better reward if you have a credit card with high credit score at around 800, he mentioned how he make 200$ from Freedom Flex after using over 600$. He also mentioned other like capital one

What are the disadvantages of using a credit card on online casinos? Any? Would you dare do such to earn more money?

Money on credit cards is not money you own, its money that you are borrowing, and the first rule of responsible gambling is to only play with money that can you can afford to lose or just excess money from your basic needs, there's a big risk playing with your credit card and besides not all credit issuer allow using their card on gambling platform, they don't encourage gambling because they know the repercussion of supporting gamblers using their card.
1138  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 16, 2023, 09:34:20 AM

My thoughts, is this how we often feel when we lose out on a bet??
Do you wish the site can refund your money??
No casino will refund your money under any circumstances when you bet and you lose, you lose, it's your choice that you bet and lose your money your being irresponsible causes you to lose your money a casino will just offer you to play

Quote
Gambling should be your choice, you shouldn't let anyone compel or persuade you into it.
You should be responsible enough to think for yourself, even if you are persuaded or asked to play whatever outcome you should accept, what if you hit the jackpot and won a lot of money you will be thankful that they persuade or asked you to play.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 15, 2023, 08:51:25 PM
I support those points OP laid out but it restricts both the players and the casino from achieving what they want, casinos are profit driven if they implement these points they will lose a big portion of their profit, they support responsible gambling but not to the point of them being restrictive to their players, players don't want them to be limited they are looking for profit and entertainment if a casino have these features they can simply transfer to casinos that understand what they want, profit and to be entertain.
Casinos cannot define players' level of happiness playing in casinos, it's at the sole discretion of the players.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on potential portfolio on: May 15, 2023, 12:33:53 PM
Thanks for your inputs, I agree this may be too many in one portfolio and will look to reduce down to 5 or 6.
In terms of keeping ETH in, its simply about trying to manage some risk as I know any alt can go down the drain, with ETH there is less likelihood of this.
I will look more into Arb, Aptos and SUI as a replacement for ADA/DOT.
Ethereum is a must on every portfolio we are different when it comes to perspective about investing in altcoins because there are so many coins to choose from, from our limited funds but those who have proven themselves over the years deserve to be on top, coins or tokens that has usability, platform to back it should be on top of priority, on my part I invest a lot on Ethereum, Binance, and XRP, there are risk on XRP and BSC but I'm sure these two tokens can overcome it.
