1121  Economy / Economics / Re: When Was the Last Time you Came Across a Positive Economic News? on: November 19, 2023, 07:16:23 AM
It sounds a bit heavy, I think we encounter positive things every day. For example, I just bought fruit and received a full refund. It may seem like things are going on that are bringing stress to the economy, but instead of dwelling on the negative atmosphere, choose to look at things with positive eyes. Perhaps partly due to people choosing a quiet life, I feel that even though it's sad that many people are having difficulty in the current social context, it would be better for them that we each individually pay attention. Likes to do positive things to share with those around me.

I often remind my friends that the news we encounter every day is very important, it unintentionally directly affects our emotions of the day. So to easily read news anywhere, you need to be proactive first, choose new and useful things other than information about the main field that people are doing to diversify their lives.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt is important on: November 19, 2023, 07:07:58 AM
So, from my last topic, I talked about alts even those that are for short term and how exchanges (like the one I mentioned Binance and Bitget) listing some alts could give you 60% and above chances in earning than getting rugged or getting a better chance to avoid shitcoins.
If you read below, you would understand this topic better and how talked about TIA as a reference and how well it did when it got listed.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5472568.msg63092909#msg63092909

Another alts that did well this week, if you check your CMC you see that most of them were listed and if you go over Twitter you see the happiness of those who did earlier or traded them earlier

SATS (Token) - Currently the most actively traded BRC-20 token, with a 24-hour on-chain trading volume of approximately US$5.2 million.

GROK (Token) - GROK is a memecoin named after the artificial intelligence model GROK, developed by Elon Musk's company XAI. It currently enjoys significant hype on-chain. Despite recent instances of FUD, the project confidently burned tokens worth nearly US$3 million. Over the past two days, its price experienced a significant rebound, at one point surging by 60%, reaching a market cap of US$66 million.

RATS (Token) - A BSC replica of the BRC-20 token, rats. Token trading began in the early hours of today and the contract shows no apparent risks. Its 24-hour trading volume reached US$29.3 million, with significant price fluctuations.

Some could be a meme coin By now we should all know what to do, Know the alts to trade for the short term, and long term and hold for the long term. We are here for Profits

BTC is always the king.

Hence I forget, one good Alts that has been doing well is SOL. They will be airdropping some wallets by next week. You can read more and make good use of this information
I don't understand its importance here.As we all understand, the truth is that the market is mainly influenced by bitcoin, so altcoins fluctuate at this stage also due to the impact of news related to bitcoin. Many people have been hotly discussing BRC20, I think there have been some topics that have emerged, but to me, the current hype is still related to some low quality content about memes, and they are not the basis. The investment base to me simply sees it as a fomo event. Actually, altcoins are always important, they bring directions to solve problems, but if you are too fomo to follow trends and are not aware of the things that are built like infrastructure, then altcoins are a potentially risky place.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solona Airdrop Season on: November 19, 2023, 06:59:26 AM
Basically, after a long time when we witnessed doubts or fomo returning to the SOL ecosystem, I also encountered many projects that have plans to distribute airdrops in the near future. But a few in my opinion will receive joy, while the majority of the airdrop space still has useless sh*tcoin, the event related to Jupiter Exchange is a big event for the ecosystem. And I think it's not too surprising to see that JUP is listed in most CEXs and has a large liquid volume.
But you also need to be careful. Recently, there have been many projects taking advantage of the rally from some altcoins to create attractive hype, so always make sure every decision has been calculated from the beginning.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you bet on when your league is in break? on: November 19, 2023, 06:51:13 AM
I'm not too big on the issue of constant betting because, from the beginning, I'm aware that it's just a small form of entertainment every week, and even if it doesn't work, there will still be other forms of replacement. It is true that every year we have a lot of betting options , but I think spending time focusing on a few tournaments that we are familiar with increases the entertainment more than the results. It also depends on the style of play, but in general, I find that most people who are able to bet on sports around them are usually quite comfortable  choosing, and the majority like to choose their favorite team.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: November 19, 2023, 06:45:22 AM
In fact, we still see a few in life mentioned as winners, so any game needs elements such as knowing, understanding, applying, creating,... And gambling also requires learning to become a professional player as well as having a high winning rate. I remember when I was in high school, my teacher once told us the odds of winning on coins, but we tend to lose more than we win, so understanding the game helps we eliminate the odds of losing a lot.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2023, 07:04:10 AM
I'm skeptical about the statistics on this issue. Although I can accept that this ratio is different, and not just in the cryptocurrency environment but in most different areas of life. Maybe the problem is due to society's prejudices about the male/female factor, but it can be seen that if we don't consider it a problem, it's no longer complicated. And I think there are many cases of women who have succeeded in this field, when they also have people who have important positions in the field. So I think gender equality appears in every field although it has its own problems, but in the crypto environment we are completely confident that the issue of equality is always present.
1127  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 18, 2023, 06:56:02 AM
Do you ever feel like that being after saving or investing for future you forget to live in the present? You don't buy the things you want to or don't go after experiences you want because you'd rather save/invest for future instead.
Yep, this is an obvious truth. If not separated, I believe there will be a distinction between timelines, but it has clearly been programmed since we were born. But the preparation that we envision for a future scenario and maybe a more economical spending plan has been discussed, and we have accepted it to achieve the goal of the plan. But imo, most of us are confused about the present and then confused about future life, so there are many things that are not started or missed.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Also faces Congestion? on: November 18, 2023, 06:50:11 AM
The OP was talking about transaction speed, which is probably understandable given the increase in activity on any network. And especially in the Ethereum environment, this becomes complicated because if you are not willing to pay a large fee, your transaction will not be prioritized. So a number of L2 solutions, EVM,... were exploited and received a lot of positive reception.

1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blackrock Ethereum ETF Filing on: November 14, 2023, 02:05:05 AM
Do you think Ethereum will be approved first before  Bitcoin?
Or Bitcoin first then Ethereum?

And do you think after Ethereum is approved on their ETF, any other altcoins will follow too?
It will still be the beginning of acceptance for BTC, and this is almost the main news that has caused the market to fluctuate recently, it is also possible that they will not be accepted soon but at the end of the day, I believe in Bitcoin spot ETF will be approved.

And once the above happens, large funds will continue to pay more attention to crypto, obviously those that stand out in this market will receive proposals. As in today we just had a rumor related to XRP (confirmed to be fake news), but I think this will be quite familiar in the future.
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you work toward hodling bitcoin? on: November 14, 2023, 01:50:39 AM
I remember another topic that asked how customers could directly pay bitcoin for their products. This issue is a business activity, so please follow the law in the country you live in that accepts Bitcoin and compile quarterly asset statistics for tax reporting. But in my opinion, for large businesses, it will not be feasible when Bitcoin is not always accepted.
But in the case of small-scale businesses, I think it still depends on the needs of the customer, as long as payment is convenient for the customer, and using crypto is just one method among many payment methods. Present. However, if you still aim to use crypto more, you must educate your customers about it, as well as promote your service that accepts crypto as a payment method.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to generate bitcoin address with face share barcode ? on: November 14, 2023, 01:38:08 AM

I'm not sure if this is what the OP wants, but I really don't think it's necessary. A few little tricks in photoshop is how I got this image.
But actually listening to the OP's proposed idea, I can only think about the meme, maybe you're talking about something more terrible that I haven't figured out how to use yet, but I wonder what its application is here?
1132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israel's Netanyahu broke the record kept by ISIS al-Baghdadi in child killing on: November 14, 2023, 01:24:34 AM
But what the parties argue in defense of their position is complete nonsense when we all know the truth about murdered children.
I have heard that since the beginning of the massive conflict, the majority of the people have been the main victims, and those victims have also been considered terrorists. Quite literally, this argument lacks humanity. War is wrong, its origin will lead to a war that will never end. I once read somewhere about people who are said to be on the Hamas side of the young generation, people born in 1995 - 2000, witnessed their relatives being killed, and that is the main reason why hatred creates the current conflict. And similarly, we will witness another war with the current surviving children, who in 15 -20 years will become avengers again. In fact, their conflict of love and hatred will probably never be resolved.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: November 14, 2023, 01:15:51 AM
They (addicts) will leave it if they find new joy, but that is really difficult to do when those subjects tend to get worse in terms of their quality of life once addicted. . Solutions such as reading, painting, volunteering,... can all be considered meaningless in the eyes of gamblers. Sometimes we really want to help them, but it's hard to chase after people who don't have any stopping points, so when addicts' lives have to pay the price, it is also when they have ruined their own lives. Depending on the level of gambling addiction, in my opinion, the issue of greed needs to be clearly understood from a young age, so that when exposed to the social environment, people will realize what is the right thing to do. In a few small cases where I have seen addicts who are conscious of the fact that they do not want to owe money, or maybe they cannot borrow money to continue playing, some free play platforms are also an option to help them relieve their stress.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts eyeing $3,000 as the next milestone for Ethereum (ETH) on: November 14, 2023, 01:07:27 AM
Ethereum's position in this market is second only to bitcoin, so when the price increase approaches, people will immediately look for it, and usually sharks like it more than following other trending cryptocurrencies. Its ability to be applied to many different fields, as well as the fact that many developers try to exploit Ethereum's limitations, is also an indirect part of what drives many people to it. Anyway, investing also needs to balance the risk/return factor, so it's not too surprising to choose the top things.
Currently, there is a lot of positive news being spread, as well as the fact that bitcoin is gaining impressive momentum from news related to ETF spot. Perhaps from now until Jan 11, 2024 we will still fluctuate strongly in the market.

2,000 Years of Economic History in One Chart
Thinking about it a bit, there are many points that I find extremely absurd, and I also very much agree with @pooya87

I'm not sure where they got these statistics from, but they certainly don't represent the entire economy over a period of 2000 years.

But maybe we should just look at it from the period 1700 to the present in terms of this statistic.

(...)Looking at the chart, I don't think USA gdp will lose significant power in our lifetime, and consequently the USD. However,  other currencies,  specially bitcoin, might play a significant role in the future.
This seems more plausible, but I would also like to speculate that the future will have a common currency, and of course I advocate that bitcoin may be one of those influences.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your parent disinherit you eventhough you have not proven to be chronic gambler on: November 13, 2023, 10:24:10 PM
As a child, I think we have no right to ask for anything from our parents. Even if life is rich/poor, we should always be grateful to those who gave birth to us. I can understand that many people express their views on the law, but it's funny to talk about this, I think the father has the complete right to decide how the property will be inherited. Wealth is not to be accumulated and given to the next generation, but it is like a loop to support everyone, including children, a few billionaires in the world that I know have a very worthy way of raising their children. Instead of giving away all the money they earn, parents should instruct their children how to make money with their own hands without depending on wealth.
In this case, I think there is not enough data to conclude who is right and who is wrong, but there are a few views that I have expressed before. However, it seems the parents are doing it legally.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin's Price Surges and Drops Unexpectedly on: November 13, 2023, 10:15:04 PM
Such strong fluctuations further show that the current crypto market is still very small. I believe that those who have been exposed to this market will recognize that problem, which is considered medium. is an opportunity as well as a risk in investment.
Positive news causes prices to suddenly increase and vice versa, which brings excitement to this space, when it is clear that we will not want to invest in something without volatility.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your thoughts about potential newly borned coins during the bear market? on: November 13, 2023, 06:57:51 PM
Each person will have their own assessment of how they understand any crypto, and for new cryptos I also have some criteria to evaluate them.

- ARB, to me it is absolutely a longterm development crypto because the solution it is solving as well as building the infrastructure is helping quite a lot in the crypto market. Actually, if you look at every aspect of quality, team, marketing strategy,... this is a project with many beneficial factors. And I personally speculate that it will make a big splash in the next bull market cycle.

- PEPE, simply a hype crypto and long-term investors will not like it because most of the form in which it develops lacks sustainable value, the development is built on the way it is hyped and the house phase Investing really doesn't have many options in the short term. There is a lot of risk involved but the trade-off is the ability to make a quick profit. I often express that it is more like a gambling game than having to analyze too much.

Besides, testing and shaping the next trends leads to investment capital flows into new areas, or further development of old areas that have not been properly evaluated. Each stage has new things appearing and the filtering only retains projects that are capable of operating and retaining the trust of investors.

1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 12, 2023, 03:34:48 AM
It was quite unexpected to see both Tottenham and Newcastle United losing to their opponents yesterday, I think Liverpool should be wary of Brentford when they play against them at the stadium of Anfield as Brentford does produce great result against big teams sometimes. Liverpool will have a chance to overtake Tottenham on the table if they could beat Brentford today and I guess Liverpool should be able to take the 3 points into their bag.
It's true that football is exciting, I didn't follow the entire match between Tottenham vs Wolves as I only watched the last 20 minutes of the match, but perhaps those were all the important developments.
It's a pity that Tot's performance in their recent matches has had poor results, perhaps partly due to the absence of important players due to penalties, but this is also the first match that Wolves played very well and the winning result, I think was a worthy reward for their efforts in conceding an early goal and things really exploded in the final minutes of the match.
