11221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Market OPEN on: February 01, 2016, 12:23:39 AM

This is great. Warp keeps getting added to more exchanges which will mean more trading activity. There is one more thing though...is it possible for Warp to get listed on Coinmarketcap? I will try to recommend them to add Warp to their list. This is very exciting. If all goes well, I will promote Warp to my friends and family.  Grin

WARP has been added to our POS market ready for trading @ https://btcpool.exchange/Market?pair=WARP/BTC

So register @ https://btcpool.exchange and get trading !!

This is fantastic. Now there is at least one exchange to begin trading Warp. Let's see how trading activity would go when days pass by. I hope to see an increase in price, although it is better how it is right now to buy more cheap Warp. Maybe we could get it to be added to Chinese exchanges as well.  Roll Eyes
11223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Hybrid PoW/PoS | btcsuite Devs | Tons of New Features | Go on: January 31, 2016, 12:14:22 AM
Hey everyone, mainnet launch date is 12:00 PM CST February 8th, 2016. Some extra information here. This will mean extra work completed on PoW pools and a simple PoS pool on launch. Hopefully now everyone can make their arrangements for the big day!

One of the very few exciting crypto currencies out there. Decred is both exciting an innovative with features never before seen on an alt coin. My favorite thing about it is its governance feature. Can't wait for the release of the mainnet. Smiley
11224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Emercoin's price is all about hype? on: January 30, 2016, 08:58:57 PM
What is the differential of this coin? I mean, what improvements have been made to justify the purchase?

The only real improvement I see is the reduction of block size inflation. Other than that, it is pure hype I guess. Something that concerns me, is that why Microsoft chose Emercoin to make partnership while there are better coins like NXT?  Huh
11225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding Ended - 29.94BTC Raised on: January 30, 2016, 08:56:19 PM

I am trying to vote for Warp to get added on the most exchanges possible to begin trading activity. Say, how is it possible for Coinmarketcap to list Warp in their cryptos list? I guess it hasn't yet because there are no exchanges, but this is about to change soon.  Grin
11226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTA] VirtaCoin|Launched July 1st|1.6 Mil. users|Formerly VirtaPay| on: January 30, 2016, 08:53:39 PM
Vote For VirtaCoin on new exchange. SafeCex is yet another anonymous cryptocoin exchange.

You need sign up. After click on this link https://safecex.com/coin/add?q=VTA and vote!

You can count on my vote. Virtacoin hasn't had any new development or updates, but still I can see that the price is maintained stable over the past days. Sometimes, price goes a little up but then goes back to the way it was. I wonder what happened with the dev. Is this coin still maintained by someone else?  Sad

I just see some serious discussions with my account relating to other accounts, initiated by Lutpin here.
I decided to withdraw my campaign participating request.
You purchased this account in June 2015, you wouldn't be allowed to enroll anyways.

Thanks for another successful payment. It was really great. Received quickly into my wallet.  Smiley

The more people sending requests to the exchanges, the higher the chances to be added.
I already send an extra request to Poloniex, I sugest you all do the same... Polo is the the top (non-chinese) exchange atm!

Regards

Goldmaxx

Completely agree with you, mate. Warp is an exciting crypto currency with its main focus in usability. It is no doubt that exchanges might add Warp sooner than later. We definitely need solid exchanges, mostly chinese because they are usually the ones who move the market. In the meantime, I guess it is just off to buying Warp from members of the forum.  Cheesy

P.S I have voted for Warp to get listed on Poloniex.  Roll Eyes
11229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: January 30, 2016, 08:29:24 PM
Tek really needs to get on another exchange, now that cryptsy is done is the only exchange cryptopia ??

Maybe that explains why the price has gone lower during these last days. I just wish it was back at $0.001210 per TEK. Just lost a certain amount of money because of this, but still I am patient and waiting for the next pump. Chinese could definitely move Tekcoin trading activity.  Sad
11230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - Community coin | No premine | Very fast | New thread on: January 30, 2016, 02:22:34 AM
Being that China is buying any and every coin, can we get on one of their exchanges? Jubi?

Actually, I was thinking about this as well and thought that I would be beneficial to the coin itself. If we could get bitebi9 exchange to add LDOGE then it could definitely increase trading activity.  Grin

For those looking for a Warp buyer, I have already found a better offer from a member of this forum. Thanks for submitting your offers via PM. If I will buy more, I will make a request again in this thread. Now that I have some Warp, time to stack them for the future.

Does anybody know what is the minimum Warp needed for staking? And also, when does Warp become mature for stakes?  Huh

Selling warp at 0.0005 btc each, 1074 warp available  Cool

Hey I am interested in your offer. I would like to buy some Warp. Please contact me via PM, and we could make a deal.  Smiley

Looking into Warp lately, I have became interested in its features. It has everything that makes a cryptocurrency an essential means of payment. I will be watching this thread closely for updates. As soon as Warp hits the exchanges, I will buy a stack of it. Looks very promising.  Cool
11234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: January 29, 2016, 10:38:14 PM
Tekcoin is my most favorite PoS alt coin. I have been a long time investor and like its concept. The ability to get a stake every 30 days, and its cheap price is one of the things that I love the most. I sometimes wonder why price has gone lower these days, but still makes it a great way to buy more. I miss when the prices were at 0.00000398 BTC per TEK. Due to the price that has fallen, I had many losses but I am very positive that it will rise back up again.  Smiley
11235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2016, 10:31:28 PM
A lot of people here say trading is good to grow bitcoins.
How you do that? Buy an altcoin and wait that its worth grows? That sounds very much like gamblin. Or do you have a strategy in which to invest?

Altcoin trading needs deeper research than doing an exchange trading from BTC -> USD or USD -> BTC.

In altcoin trading, some of the factors that you need to know is the status of the coin you would like to invest. Checking it's developrs, main thread here, volume etc. More tips can be given by the community in Altcoin Discussion Section if you are really interested.

That is certainly true. When you consider into investing in an alt coin, don't just spend money on it because it has better features or technology, but instead look for those who have a solid market cap, a great community and development. Those that are worth the try, might be alt coins whose supply is very limited like Diamond (DMD) and Crypto Bullion (CBX) They will usually rise in price due to the fact that they are very rare, and thus it could be the possibility of having more demand for limited supply. It might not always work, but it is a method to grow your BTC. Just my opinion.  Grin
11236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: January 29, 2016, 01:55:14 AM
One day, I hope for Qora to become the most popular cryptocurrency ever used besides Bitcoin. It has great features which makes it indispensable. Still, price is extremely cheap but it could gain traction once people realize the true potential of this amazing coin. This is my first time using Qora, and I will stay in it for long term.  Smiley
11237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HTMLCOIN (HTML5) NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC on: January 28, 2016, 07:19:23 PM
someone tell me why there is no movement on the stock exchange YoBit coin and whether it will at all? that the developers say about this? what to expect from the coin in the near future?

Honestly, I think that this coin is dead. Dev hasn't been active since 2015 (you can check is profile from OP) and this coin has very low trading volume. Too bad for a promising coin. I liked the fact that it was a multi algo crypto currency, but the lack of development and updates makes me think that it is none other than a dead coin. Hopefully, someday another dev could take on the project and make the coin even better.  Sad
11238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Affordable motherboard for GPU mining? on: January 28, 2016, 06:37:06 PM
You can ROI on an ethereum rig in 3.5 months right now if you don't go out and buy all new parts. My rig just cost me $900 and will ROI in 110 days. Even less if the price stays like it is now(it will correct itself soon i'm sure). I'm hashing at around 80 MH/s at 950 Watts thats with an underclocked 7990 and two 7950s on an old ass AMD athlon 2 processor+ motherboard I had left over.

Building a second rig almost the same and will have roughly 6 months of profit. Even if PoS comes when they say it will I will have already made $750 in profit per rig. And I can sell those cards on ebay to make back more.

Mining Ethereum may only last 10 months but it's still very much worth it and may provide you the extra cash you need to buy the next gen 16nm ASICs or something else...

Great! Thanks for sharing your experiences mining Ethereum. It certainly looks like a fun task (besides the profit) and will be building my very first ETH mining rig soon. I could also try buying ETH at cheap prices and wait for the price to go back up to profit. That could also work, but I think that it is more risky than mining itself. Since I don't have to worry about electricity costs (for now, until the chance is over) I will definitely make more profit with ETH mining. Also, I wouldn't mind investing in Genesis Mining ETH mining hashrate.  Cheesy
11239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 28, 2016, 04:56:01 PM

Every investment has its risk factors, but the point is that Ethereum unlike Bitcoin is not only a currency, it is a whole platform that you can build anything on, it was created with its own language to make smart contracts, ETH the currency is the "fuel" you need for anything to do on the netwrok, in the other hand Bitcoin for now can do only one thing, it has only one application which is "digital cash".

That is exactly one of the points that makes Ethereum so much useful than Bitcoin. You can make your own dapps, and even issue your own assets all done with the power of smart contracts. Another good thing about ETH is that it is ASIC resistant, which makes it an even better choice of mining than Bitcoin. Maybe someday, Ethereum will replace Bitcoin.  Roll Eyes

where exchange ??  Huh

I am looking for an exchange too for buying Animecoins. I went to the OP but links to the exchanges listed there seem to be dead. Also, I tried clicking the link to the official site, but it is dead as well. Can somebody update me with the latest exchanges, please?  Smiley
