Is there a XMG/magi mining calculator around? I just want to know how much XMG I could mine with an eight core CPU.  Roll Eyes
No Magi does not have mining calculator yet. Maybe you can test it with the eight core CPU and post results here.

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to build a custom rig with two 8 core CPUs to see how many XMG I would mine. I hope to earn some profits, otherwise I'll just do it for fun!  Grin

what cpus are going to mine in your machine?
with that you can estimate their hashrate and then look in pool stats for users with average hashrate.

I'm going to use 2 AMD FX Eight Core CPUs (one on each motherboard) to mine XMG. I'll try to mine with them as soon as I have time to build my rig. If everything goes well, I'll try invest in more CPUs to expand my hashrate.  Grin

Same Error:WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers.

Maybe it's because the wallet has a bug. I can still receive coins, though.  Smiley

No GUI wallet for Expanse? I'm sorry to say this but I'm completely lost and I don't know where to start.  Undecided
12226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2015, 04:56:03 PM
What would be the easiest and fastest way to grow your Bitcoins? I know that signature campaign is one of them but it takes time and constructive posts to earn a good amount of Bitcoins. Just want to multiply my BTC fast  Grin

Well, in that case, you need to try www.CloudMining.website. According to third part cloud mining monitor CMmonitor.com, this service is known to give ROI in ~114 days...

They publish their payment proof of last 10 months: www.cloudmining.website/payments.php

With only 8 BTC, you'll get 10 Ths of hash power. Then, calculate your profit here: www.cloudmining.website/calculator.php

This site looks just like cloudminr.io (considering the rates per GH/s (like 0.0014 BTC per GH/s) and reinvestment option) Since I was scammed by many cloud mining services, I gave up investing in such sites. I might have the feeling that this one will run away with my money sooner or later. The cloud mining website you provided really does give proof of payment but it lacks pictures of their mining farm, staff members, etc.  Grin

I'm not really sure about this one, if I'm ever going to invest, I'll just deposit the minimum amount of BTC possible just to be safe  Wink
12227  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: September 14, 2015, 04:42:37 PM
What is that thread? i didn't really know what is the meaning of ROI and i am still the owner. can you give the link my post about ROI.

Never mind doesn't matter. Like I said "as far as my memory is concerned". Apology.

Anyways back to main topic , how come that is the only reply you post.

You said someone can earn $150/week through signature campaign and you use the term "only in signature campaign" that is possible to earn that amount in a week lol. Even with Bit-X unlimited posting it is hard and insane. 1000 post a week? Who is your friend? Sorry but Im just amazed for his type of doing. And one thing you pointed on Coinut , how come it can give $150/week as a Full Member?

$150 a week?! That's insane. Shocked  I don't think you could earn that much as a Full Member (unless you are active 24/7 and make around 900 to posts a week) Still, it's a good profit, the only thing is that you have to spend too much time.

I bet Garza is planning to make another coin...guess what? It would probably be named ScamCoin...lol  Grin

It makes me wonder on what exchanges will Expanse be? I'm just going to buy some instead of mining them. I think it is much easier for me now that I don't have good hashrate. Would like to see Expanse on Cryptsy exchange  Grin

Is there a GUI wallet for Expanse? (you know beginner like) Because it is somewhat complicated to set up everything via commands  Smiley
12232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: September 14, 2015, 12:26:20 AM
Is the main launch ready yet? I've found out that the countdown timer is set to zero but I haven't seen any updates yet. Is Expanse stable enough to use now  Huh

Yes. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173722.msg12412842#msg12412842

I followed the steps mentioned to start expanse, but when I start the genesis block/server I get this message on the cmd. It says synchronization failed. Am I doing something wrong?  Huh

12234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative to Ripple Trade? on: September 13, 2015, 11:21:06 PM

That's a very good alternative to Ripple Trade. There's only one thing that I don't see in their XRP wallet, and that is the ability to send/withdraw my XRP to another wallet. But other than that, it makes it a very good Ripple wallet. I love the eye catching interface  Grin

You can send and withdraw. You just need to look harder  Wink

I browsed through the main page and there was the Send and Withdraw button. (didn't see it at first glance) This wallet is great! I'm going to move all my XRP to the new wallet. Thanks mate!
12235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative to Ripple Trade? on: September 13, 2015, 10:07:55 PM

This looks like a lightweight Ripple wallet. It’s great considering the fact that it has a simple interface but yet efficient. I’ll try it out. If there is any other alternative, let me know.
12236  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: September 13, 2015, 10:04:33 PM
I think that if cloudminr.io really cared about their customers, they should have done something by now. Even if they claimed to be hacked (which I doubt) they should’ve found other ways to communicate with their customers (probably through BCT). All of this was just excuses to steal people’s money. They all come up with the same thing. Remember Hashprofit when they allegedly claimed they were hacked?  Roll Eyes

I need help with the Magi wallet. I've been syncing the wallet for a few hours but after sync is complete, I get this warning message:

WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers.

I tried deleting block chain data and re syncing again but I still get this message. Is there something that I'm doing wrong  Huh  Please help!

What wallet version are you using?
Check this post for latest wallets:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg12251234#msg12251234

I think I’m using the latest version. Is is 1.2.2.1 How do I fix this issue? I tried resyncing the wallet but still no luck. Any ideas?

Maybe Litecoin will emerge as Litecoin 2.0 Who knows? All we have to do is wait until it happens so. I would love to see new features on it  Roll Eyes
