1141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 25, 2021, 12:02:23 AM
Very exciting to see this. I am also happy that Stake decreased the amount of btc withdrawal to BTC0.0005 and I hope the fees will be lowered soon. I am excited to join the blackjack mania as well and hope that I win something out of it as races aren't my cup of tea.  Grin
The minimum amount you could withdraw was BTC0.0005 for months and this is not a new change and the transaction charges were 0.0002 and they did not change that recently as i am seeing that for months when the price was rallying and because of that high withdrawal charge in Bitcoin i usually convert it to other coins or use the help of other members to withdraw the coins.

I don't quite believe this, I have seen you overcharging customers for bitcoin withdrawals and I am not speaking about one transaction. It has happened to me multiple times. I have put all the details in the "Withdrawal Comparison" thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5333602.msg56949184#msg56949184 . I am willing to share the transactions over DM if needed.

I would appreciate if you can make it right for me as I have been your customer for over 7 years and still play daily.
They might have charged according to the network congestion in the Bitcoin network and i assume this because there were times in the past several months that the transaction charges jumped multiple times and when you are trying to withdraw during those times you are bound to pay more.
If you could compare with the average charges during that period in the mempool with the charges cloudbet charged then i hope you will have the clarity.

Freebitcoin never really needed marketing like that, they are already one of the most known crypto websites, I still can't believe that they still have the same design after 500 years but this website may look like a small time niche website but reality is that they are bigger than most million dollars worth of websites.
I would like to see the website getting a different user interface overall and resume as a good gambling site as well. I started with the site a long time ago and i enjoyed playing until other sites popped up with different games and i really hope we will see a complete revamp of the site and continue the legacy even with a sister site with new games and keeping this as a nostalgia is fine with me.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 just achieved a big milestone. on: May 24, 2021, 07:58:17 PM
We were well aware of the fact how pandemic did change the whole society. How people instead of going outside had to find ways to entertain themselves at the comfort of their own homes. The casinos closed down and at the same time online casinos were making a move. New casinos joined in and most of them started gaining immense profits.
Bet 365 is in the online gambling space for over a decade and they have a really cool sports betting platform and if they start accepting Bitcoin i would use them instead of the present deposit of third party application and then converting that to fiat. I played in the platform well before we had any decent sports book in the cryptocurrency space and now there are decent sports book in this space which accepts multiple cryptocurrencies and hence i stick on to cryptocurrency based sports sites.

The advantage they always had is the highest odds and the live gaming options are diverse than we see in cryptocurrency based sportsbook with live coverage and now i only use them to watch the event and bet on cryptocurrency based sportsbook.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: May 24, 2021, 05:56:53 PM
I was expecting Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury and now we are forced to see another fight against Oleksandr Usyk who is another high profile fight but they will not get the same hype as Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury and since i want to see that fight happen i hope Anthony Joshua could somehow win the fight against Oleksandr Usyk even though it is a huge task.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: May 24, 2021, 03:48:41 PM
Do you think that Wilder's team is so dumb as not to make any adjustments after the second fight and let the opponent play in a winning scenario for them?  Undecided
The problem is that Wilder is not a technical boxer and he was able to go through everyone with his power, if he was technically strong then he could have made some changes in his technique or change his style but i doubt Wilder could do that until he proves everyone wrong.

I think Wilder in the third fight will "sit on the bike" in the first rounds and will only act with a jab and from a distance, and after Fury gets tired (I think he gets tired earlier than Wilder) in the last rounds he will finish him off.
Fury is not going to get tried as he is a master of the distance and his big frame and his movements are extraordinary for his size, in the first two fights we saw how Fury was able to overcome the odds and he was returning after a long break in the first fight.

All this could be prevented with a piece of tape on your camera.
Looks like you are moving around while covering all the camera in your household  Cheesy. Just make sure that you are not clicking any malware links and visit any shady websites and that will be more than helpful rather than covering with tape and if anyone is able to spend a few hours to lean how to make your digital devices secure and how to check your root about new installation then you are good to go Cheesy.

If i am in that situation i am not going to spend a dime to save my ass from embarrassment  Grin
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are backed by Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2021, 08:41:15 AM
So I am a newbie and I always had this question in my mind why all altcoins are backed with BTC because at times like these altcoins are the most affected one there are some really great altcoins out there but due to this correction we can see a massive drop in those coins and I don't think it is fair to other coins that because of only one single coin they also see a massive drop
I cannot understand why you think think that the alts are backed by Bitcoin, if you are talking about trading pair, then some of the coins have other trading pairs as well including ETH and other fiat currency trading pairs and whenever there is a correction in Bitcoin it does not mean that correction is pulling the entire market down, everyone else holding those alts are selling off their coins as well.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has become the rich man's playground... on: May 24, 2021, 06:50:41 AM
For the users who have been into the cryptospace during the initial days of cryptocurrency existence have turned successful. Right now it has got turned to be the rich man's playground, pure example for the same is the Elon Musk. Now he's shattering the market and making money out of it.
The expectation in the beginning was we need adoption and investors will flock in and that is what we are seeing and huge investors will look for profit and they do not care about the underlying technology or care about anything else, all they look for is to make a huge profit and that is what they are making in this market and there is nothing any one of us can do about it.

Elon Musk is not the sole reason for the market crashing there are several other institutional funds in the market and they will book their profit as well and since their investment is in the billions and if they are selling in the open market it will affect the valuation.
1150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for a active trading companion on: May 23, 2021, 09:25:53 PM
But what I have observed is that most of the time even though I predict and calculate the movement I was not able to take up the trade due to emotions coming in between or just ignoring it not sure, I just can't say why but I just don't do those trades.
The difference between anyone holding hundreds of Bitcoin now and anyone having a few Bitcoin is that they former were able to take that leap to experiment and test their luck and hence they are reaping the profits for the risk they took. Whenever you invest there is a risk involved in the short term but if you are for the long term then there is nothing much to worry.

these are just a 2 and technically many.
What are the technical things you look, the above examples you mentioned are expected reactions from the market and there is nothing unusual about it especially when SEC files a lawsuit and when someone popular who have a huge fan base promotes a coin you should expect the market to rally simply because the entire market is in a bull run.

so with all these, i am looking for a companion who is interested in trading, tech, news and would like to share contact number or some platform where we can message and discuss on regular basis so that on every oppurtunity i have someone to talk and take up decisions if not atleast make my head stright Smiley
There are many exchange related groups where you can share your ideas and so on and then we have the speculation thread.
Follow the news updates and act accordingly if you are expecting to make a good profit.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 23, 2021, 08:18:36 PM
Team BAN are so much dependent on Shakib Al Hasan, they could barely put any significant effort on the field. BAN suppose one of the most improved cricket team over last 4-5 yeas, but BAN only could perform well under the presence those 3-4 senior players in the team. All the time seniors are become lead performer in Bangladesh. Our concern is when will the juniors take the lead role?
Shakib Al Hasan is a world class all rounder and if a pitch is helping the spinners then he will create pressure at one end and then they have other spinners to tighten the other end as well and then there is Mustafizur Rahman who troubles the batman with his line and length and his slower balls and they need to discover bowlers and all rounders like them to strengthen the team.

I think that settles the Font VS Garbrandt event and moving on to the next event which I think both Rozenstruik and Sakai came to a loss from Gane and Overeem.
For the fighters i checked this card is about resurrection as most of the fighters in this card are coming back after a loss in their previous fight and i am yet to check all the fighters in the Preliminary card but in the main event i think Jairzinho Rozenstruik can win the fight and in the co main event i am going with Marcin Tybura because he is riding a winning streak and Walt Harris had two losses in a row and he is not the same fighter after the demise of his stepdaughter.

Right now Sri Lanka stands on the ninth position on the table, whereas Bangladesh is on the seventh position. As said in the above post, each loss will cost big for Sri Lanka. Now it's time for Sri Lanka to take immediate measures to make the team stronger. We can't say just a single player is affected, because we don't know from that particular person who and all have got infected.
What is that Sri Lanka can do to produce talents like they used to have, they need to start hunting from the grass roots level and strengthen domestic cricket like India is doing. In the past they had a few talents in the team that could make an impact but they are now producing more talents like Australia used to have in the past and they can follow the same route and groom them to represent the team and it is going to be a long process.

We don't know whether all of the foreign players will be available once the IPL resumes. Many of the important players have already made it quite clear that they will not be taking part in the resumed tournament. And this can have a major impact on some of the teams such as RCB, SRH and CSK which are overdependent on the overseas contingent.
All the teams will suffer if the overseas players refuse to play the game not just RCB, SRH and CSK but i highly doubt that because the amount of money they will be missing out if they are not participating is huge and none of the members will be willing to spare that.

Two important news coming in from the T20 sphere. First, in the news related to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) a mini draft has been completed to replace the unavailable players. Shimron Hetmyer has been signed by Multan and Zahir Khan by Quetta. Rashid Khan will be available for the Lahore Qalandars. Singapore batsmen Tim David will also be playing for Lahore.
There will be a complete overhaul in the team when they started the tournament and when they resume the tournament and it will be strange for anyone who placed a bet on tournament winners.

Now the participation of women in gambling has increased. Earlier this was seen on real casinos. Now women have begun to move into online gambling. To keep everyone on the same scale and to give them the importance of being a part of the community stake has taken the right decision with the new ambassador.
How do we even identify whether these data are even valid. How do you even evaluate more Woman are more involved in online gambling, either a betting site has to release those data and i have not seen any site doing that and majority of the users will avoid sites that enforces mandatory KYC. I like the equality angle but you cannot determine that online and you cannot expect to enforce that and make a detailed analyses.

Martingale strategy brings in win for the luckiest and for the one who has the ability to spend big money. Continuous losing streaks happen often, and myself too experienced it. By that time mind wavers that the roll isn't provably fair.
It is all about luck as you said. I have won many bets in the past when the price of Bitcoin was below $500 and in the past few years i never had that kind of luck with martingale as i always end up busting everything even if i win some for a while.

Recently week ago I lost more than $600 using this strategy. Same time I came across few videos in which gamblers making a win through this strategy. Particularly I saw a person making 0.5 btc with 0.01 btc as capital.
In social media you will see many videos where they are making huge wins and i am always skeptical in those videos always and they always promote their reference links and the video views and until they are transparent about these win and the users can verify those rolls then i will believe and i have not seen anyone providing that.

Here you go, the full results. More or less expected, especially in the case of Font and Esparza. I always thought Garbrandt was a one-trick pony that was good at beating Dom Cruz because that is all that his team focused on, but when that was gone, he just faded quicker than almost any champ I have seen (or can remember at this point)
I did not watch the event because i had no balance to bet on the event as i busted everything on the Golden State Warriors loss which i did not expect and i was not too confident in placing a bet either.

I would have gone with Cody Garbrandt if i was placing a bet and i would have lost again and i will never expect Carla Esparza to win by TKO and another loss for Edmen Shahbazyan and he needs to find another trainer because as long as he is training under Edmond Tarverdyan it is not going to make him a better fighter .
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO when a coin is pumping on: May 23, 2021, 07:13:28 AM
~
These questions may seem simple but they carry an immense weight. Because newbies dont take these questions and use a comment "someone told me about it" - they make the mistake of FOMO. What happens is that as long as it is going up they dont bother, but when it starts coming down then they are panicking into information as to whether or not they have been scammed/sold a shitcoin. Something that should have been done before buying.
When the market is rallying you will see many investors jumping in to make the profit and they might have seen the hype in social media or other platforms and they enter the market thinking they could make a quick profit and that is what happened with the Dogecoin rally as well. Elon Tweeted and everyone jumped into it even without knowing what they are investing and since the market was rallying everything aligned with these investors to make a good profit and anyone missing out on these rallies will start their campaign as well.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sextortion - more than 4000 BTC cashed on: May 22, 2021, 08:30:24 PM
He is not the brightest but also not the dumbest because the Binance limit with only email verification is 2 Bitcoin per day withdraw. The address has not received more than one bitcoin but even if it did,the guy using a fake email address can withdraw 2 Bitcoins every day and I think with today price 2 Bitcoin everyday is enough even for the hungriest money criminal in the world.
I do have a verified account but i forgot the fact that there was a twoBTC daily limit and with the increased valuation it is a fairly huge advantage for the scammers to get through but if Binance wanted they can simply provide the log details and the transaction request details as well transaction ID can be provided to the authorities and it is possible we could track those movements.

We all know that is difficult to track Bitcoin transactions and this is already been discussed here with 0 people being arrested from the cloud mining scams that we all know about.
We might not hear about the scammers getting caught right now but in the future they i am still expecting these scammers to be behind the bars in the near future.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans Bitcoin again in 2021 on: May 22, 2021, 07:22:52 PM
China has never taken a favorable view of Bitcoin. The first time they attempted a ban was in 2013, which sent Bitcoin prices crashing back then. And then from time to time, the Chinese government has caused corrections in the cryptocurrency market with their policy changes.
The problem is the community is giving too much priority for the news coming out from China in the past and i thought we are well over those period but once again it is said that the Chinese government stance against Bitcoin crashed the market, i am not sure whether those are facts but one thing is certain many liquidated their Bitcoin.

But all that said, it is important to note that China hasn't explicitly banned Bitcoin. The ban only covers conversion of Bitcoin to fiat (and vice versa). Chinese nationals are free to do Bitcoin trading using stablecoins.
So does that mean they can purchase stablecoins with Fiat, if that is the case then there is literally no issue in purchasing any other cryptocurrency as well.
