^  Yup.  The line on Esparza open around 2.5 and went close to a pickem right before the match started.  By the second round she made it look her line should be 1.5.  Lol.  Her wrestling is top notch.  And I was surprised with the improvement of her ground and pound tho.

I think that settles the Font VS Garbrandt event and moving on to the next event which I think both Rozenstruik and Sakai came to a loss from Gane and Overeem.

For the fighters i checked this card is about resurrection as most of the fighters in this card are coming back after a loss in their previous fight and i am yet to check all the fighters in the Preliminary card but in the main event i think Jairzinho Rozenstruik can win the fight and in the co main event i am going with Marcin Tybura because he is riding a winning streak and Walt Harris had two losses in a row and he is not the same fighter after the demise of his stepdaughter.

Yup! as you have said that all fighters were from a loss I have check all fighters under the main and Preliminary events because I know for sure that Jairzinho Rozenstruik had lost to Cyril Gane and Augusto Sakai to Overeem, and I have listed all fighters and what I have research.

Main Card

Walt Harris to Alexander Volkov
Marcin Tybura to Augusto Sakai (but have won 4 Consecutive wins)
Roman Dolidze to Trevin Giles
Laureano Staropoli to Tim Means
Santiago Ponzinibbio to Li Jingliang
Miguel Baeza (Undefeated)
Tom Breese to Omari Akhmedov
Antonio Arroyo to Deron Winn

Preliminary Card

Makwan Amirkhani to Edson Barboza
Nate Landwehr to Julian Erosa
Tanner Boser to Andrei Arlovski
Ilir Latifi to Derrick Lewis
Francisco Trinaldo to Alexander Hernandez (But have won 3 Consecutive wins)
Muslim Salikhov to Alex Garcia (But have won 3 Consecutive wins)
Alan Patrick to Bobby Green
Mason Jones to Mike Davis
Manon Fiorot to Leah McCourt (But have won 6 consecutive wins)
Maryna Moroz to Angela Hill (But have won 2 consecutive wins)

Well, most of the fighters have come to a loss, and as you see that there are fighters that have won consecutive fights and only Miguel Baeza was the only Undefeated and you are right most fighters from this event will now show to UFC that they can still do this and needs to prove themselves that they have overcome their experience in losing a fight.

I've noticed that UFC has returned to "behind closed doors" event format. What do you think about it? They have some issues with covid cases during event, or they run "open doors" only for a huge events, like Oliveira - Chandler?

Seems that all the future events are like filler, as UFC are already offering UFC 264 VIP TICKET PACKAGES for POIRIER VS MCGREGOR trilogy Cheesy

I mean, that's actually not a bad model to work on from now on (until covid gets settled). So on one hand you get full-blown events, but on the other, you kinda keep the general opinion good as you are still implementing the safety protocols on smaller events. A better option than to go all out right away. Smart move on UFCs part. First in a long time XD

Maybe the prevention to keep people at minimal only, and they are following the safety protocols on covid-19 prevention, I really think that is the only purpose for that, Safety measures for the fans and the fighters as well, they can not let their athletes get sick from the certain virus,  Although I like the fight island venue the amount of financial needs in holding such event in a place like that is surely tremendous for Dana White and he would like to really have tickets on sale a minimum to take even a small amount of profit.

^  Not all states in the US have opened up for live sporting events in big stadiums yet.  So whenever they’re in Las Vegas the event goes on in the Apex.  But it’s slowly opening up.  Prolly by 264, Nevada has opened up.  264 will be at the T-Mobile Arena.

Edit:  I just noticed the next event is a week after this weekend.  Sucks...

This story keep rolling out and I just listened to latest podcast Behind the Scenes with Joshua Fabia ex guru coach of Diego Sanchez made by with Summer Helene.
He accused Diego off being being a broke drug and alcohol addict, and that Sanchez was taking advantage of him, he also claimed that Diego throw the fight against Michael Chiesa at UFC 239.
It's no wonder Fabia is now receiving death threats -.-

UFC Fight Night Rozenstruik vs Sakai is looking more interesting to me that previous one, but I already see that some changes and fight are canceled because of injuries like in a case with Maki Pitolo.
Todorovic will now fight against new Brazillian fighter Gregory Rodrigues who just moved to UFC instead with Pitolo.

I had an alright week in terms of predictions, Silva getting the KO before my round 2 prediction particularly annoyed me. Although, I wasn't actually far off from landing some big money. Onto the next event. Speaking of the next event, I can't believe I have to go a whole weekend without UFC to watch!

I'll look at the scheduled fights a little closer to the date as I imagine a few will be chopped, and changed by the time the 6th rolls around.

Edit:  I just noticed the next event is a week after this weekend.  Sucks...

This is not even Bellator level XD But since they started multiplying events through the year, starting a couple of years ago, they have to put filler events. I guess that's the part of the business I don't get and might be related to PPV, but I never got why they have 3 title fights in one event and then a filler event after that.

^  What do you mean?  No way any Bellator card is at the same level as the UFC’s lower tier fight night cards.  I mean sure there are some events that are not as good but week in week out there’s always a couple or more good matches in there.  Bellator match making isn’t so good imho.  Check the betting market.  It’s usually one huge favorite vs one huge underdog.

Yeah, I've never been disappointed by a UFC card, but I have been disappointed quite routinely by a boxing card. This is due to the multi discipline, and lack of boring fights.  Every weekend, there's an absolute war going on. Don't get me wrong, I've been disappointed by main events quite a few times, but that's kind of natural due to the cagey ness of usually fighting for a belt or something bigger. However, I'm often entertained by the prelims, and in fact are usually some of the most entertaining fights for me.

I don't tend to catch Bellator has frequently as UFC, as I tend to value my sleep, but also its usually an absolute landslide in terms of betting, and the result. Favorites are usually the ones to dominate over there.

It appears Uncle Dana’s new storyline to please the Chinese MMA fans has failed again. I reckon he should promote Weili Zhang vs. Xiaonan Yan for an all Chinese battle. The winner gets the opportunity for revenge in the name of China hehehe.

EXCLUSIVE: Yan Says UFC Hinted Title Shot Looming With Win Saturday

Additionally, Yan shared some of her recent experiences with all that’s been going on behind the scenes. It seems the rising strawweight contender is hopeful about her title aspirations for 2021.

“Yeah, I think between the conversations between UFC and my management teams, I think the implication (is) that if I win this fight, I may get an opportunity to fight for the belt.” Xiaonan Yan said.

I was more tongue in cheek with my remark, but I would disagree with you that any Bellator card a UFC lower-tier card. There were some piss poor UFC cards and at times Bellator offered more interesting fights by less known fighters. Is that the norm? No, but that's why my comment was a bit cheeky Smiley However, in no way were all UFC dumpster fire cards better than any Bellator card.

If he really favors pleasing the Chinese people why not rigged the fight, (just joking) kidding aside I think that even if he wants to please the Chinese people but the favor and outcome of the fight would go against his favored outcome then pick a more vulnerable one and an opponent that can surely easily beaten, I think all Chinese fight would just backfire on him I think he would not do such careless decision that might abrupt the interest of the viewers in my opinion why not just let it be and hope for the best, he is not 100% have full control on who's really gonna win then just hope for the best-desired outcome.

What cards do you have in mind in the UFC that were bad? I've been watching a long time, and there's always been at least one or two entertaining fights. Although, I'll admit I'm a fan of the sport, the multi discipline side, rather than just individuals in the sport. I understand, that many might think a certain event is bad, if they only watch their favorite fighters. For example, the Costa VS Adesanya fight recently, may be considered quite bad, as nothing really happened until it was over. Plus, Costa just didn't seem to want to engage.

However, the prelims, and other main card fights on that card were pretty damn good.

Jon Jones is not going to get back fighting in octagon for one more year because he realized it's not that easy to be a heavyweight fighter.
I think that waiting for one more year is not a good decision and after he refused fight with Stipe Miocic I would not be surprised if Dana White and UFC forget about him.
Let's face it, many of heavyweights would eat him for breakfast now, but I see no reason why he is avoiding to fight the guys from light-heavyweight division.

He's just staying relevant, by acting big on social media. I think he misses the spotlight, but for sure knows that he would find it very difficult to actually beat the current heavyweights. I don't think we see him return, but he's likely to keep on chirping in the background for the foreseeable future.

I don't even know why he would even deserve a title shot (which is what people seem to be speculating about). He's been out for too long now in my opinion. UFC is moving on from Jon Jones, and I think thats what he doesn't like about it.

I don't think he deserves title shot anymore, and I could see him losing from several fighters even if he comes back in light-heavyweight category, that is now more interesting than ever without him.
His last fight was in 2020 against Dominick Reyes, he was not so impressive even after he won, and he beat Thiago Santos with split decision.
That means he will have more than two years break from fighting, and I see he now hired a new advisor Richard Schaefer after split with old managers.
