1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to invest in bitcoin to build a country whose economy is down? on: August 06, 2023, 11:50:45 AM
As we can see other countries are already doing it and others are only partially making bitcoins as one of their choices of investment in their countries. Nevertheless, their results was pretty good because non of those countries are experiencing economic falls after they make bitcoins as choices for their people to invest their money with.
1162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ARE THE CONSPIRACY THEORIST RIGHT? on: August 04, 2023, 11:57:58 AM
Sports are one of the amazing events that they create to focus people's attention towards not thinking of another important aspect of our existence in this world. Sports and Music industries seem their way to divert the attention of most people to control them. I came up with a reel on Facebook where they talked about why these industries are billions of dollars even though they do not have any means to change the world into a better place because there is only one explanation in that reel they said that there's some group out there that making all these things happened. They wanted the people to not search for the answer and they control them by these means. This is one of the conspiracy theorists that I think is real.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2023, 10:53:58 AM
^ Besides being difficult to compare, I’m not so sure it’s even a true statement over a long enough time frame. Bitcoin has gone from nothing to being worth nearly a trillion dollars in just over a decade. Gambling has been around much longer and surely hasn’t kept up with the infinite growth of Bitcoin in the last 15 years. It is a question of metrics.

Even if it's real we know that there are some people that are already been fans of traditional gambling that find it convenient to play online as well. As you said we don't have the total statistic but obviously that doesn't really need because we know that gamblers are already there before the invention of bitcoins and most likely they have already been there and are probably already huge in numbers. But bitcoins are making slow progress towards adoption by other countries and surely it will be different stories and bitcoins will show positive news in the future.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 03, 2023, 02:57:04 PM

The kind of statement he made is powerful enough to make other teams, which he didn't choose, try to prevent him from getting there. However, it doesn't help the NBA overall, as players now seem to dictate, rather than acting as professionals and playing according to their contracts. Lillard should not have said it publicly; the negotiations between his team should have been handled confidentially. Now, if the deal with the Miami Heat doesn't succeed, can the Blazers still expect Lillard to give his best next season?

Most likely they will lose investors and some advertisement because, with this kind of scenario, I'm sure companies will not risk signing them another contract because there will be no assurance of competition in their team to reach even the NBA playoffs next season and surely they will gonna be busy working on trading him in another team if the current deal will not success. However, if he gonna speak some convincing words that he will gonna do the best he can to help their team to get back to the NBA playoffs like he was doing before, then it will be a positive story that won't gonna cut their possible earnings this upcoming season.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 03, 2023, 12:57:02 PM
As this fight approaches I’m surprised that Jake Paul seems to be doubling down in his offer to fight Nate in a UFC style match after this fight is over. I wonder if that would remain the case even if Jake lost. While I think Jake is the boxing favorite, Nate’s reach could be a problem the same way Tommy Fury’s was, and if Jake can’t win in boxing, he surely stands no chance in MMA.

Looks like they are making a huge amount of money from this fight and it seems like Nate is OK with whatever they asked him as long as it is reasonable and they also pay him reasonable payment. Let's see how will it end because surely what's interesting is how they will gonna fight and show the fans that they are not playing inside the ring. But whatever it is, surely it will never be the same as his last fights because these guys are entertainers and they don't want to bore their spectators with the same scenario as they did before.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an inflation hedge on: August 03, 2023, 12:06:47 PM
I think it will not totally replace local currency because government can make rule to make sure the civilian use local currency only. but I think Bitcoin will dominating virtual transaction replacing paypal and etc. bitcoin has a lot of advantage rather than remittance service because it don't need employee to operate , so the operating cost will be lower, even it's only need internet and electricity. although bitcoin is still volatile but it is one of best way to avoid inflation.

I think that's the reason why El Salvador wanted to adopt bitcoins as legal tender in their country and their government supported it until today. looks like their decision was good because we can see that they had good responses and positive results in their economy after they did that. That's why the other countries are willing to do the same but their government seems not unanimous towards it and they happened to not convince by El Salvador's current economy. Perhaps they just need a strong convincing impact where they don't have to doubt that decision and finally be like that country that fully made bitcoins legal tender in their country.
1167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining, a Potential Ally in Our Fight Against Climate Change. on: August 02, 2023, 02:54:10 PM
Bitcoin mining has gone far with the use of renewable energy source and there's less dependency on electrical power supply unlike before, there's more to see on the aspects of this same bitcoin mining being environmentally friendly, we can make this our own way of understanding the real idea on the use of bitcoin energy used for mining as an environmental friendly and cause no harm on the climate like the other source of mining do.

From now I think they already fixed that and use technologies that are not gonna be a problem for the environment because right now the eyes of the people are on them and they can be used against them if they don't want to fix their components to be environmentally friendly. Just like what happened in the past few years where groups that are hostile against bitcoins are barking and using all of that to stop any bitcoin mining. Thankfully they didn't succeed and decided to stop their claim because they seem cannot find concrete evidence about what they are talking about in bitcoin miners.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: August 02, 2023, 12:41:13 PM

Generally, it is advised that start with small and gradually increase the amount. Straight away increasing the amount is more risky as you can lose everything in one go. Of course, when you place a big bet and choose the right multiplier the chance of winning a big amount is present. I haven't been lucky enough at the moment to get to that point. There are times when your intuition would want to go with the risk but your mind won't agree. In such a situation when do not place a big bet and if you win you will feel remorse. I am sure everyone might have gone through the same experience and everyone would have felt the same way.

Lots has happened after you play with small money because when you are winning playing with that low amount, the next thing are you gonna try the high amount of bets which will you think the best thing to do since you have the capability to do so and when you lose all the money, that's when you realized you made a wrong decision but let me tell you a fact when you decide to stop playing after that kind of incident, then you are gonna save money for yourself because obviously gambling is not for you and you need to consider to think of other hobbies that are not putting many risks on your money.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: August 02, 2023, 12:00:31 PM
Hahaha True talk influencers not all are actually terrible people Most dont hold or buy the project they pump and when they finish the promotion their payment usually get dumped into the market and they will normally move on.. If they happen to hold the token they pump it and then when is high enough they dump on your head..Before you invest read-up the project first and make sure is worth investing

Most of them are getting paid for what they seem to introduce to the public and they are claiming that they didn't receive anything from the crypto project. They are deceiving their viewers by sugarcoating their words that's why investors need to understand the risks of watching their videos most of them are not telling the truth or just one of the investors of that project itself that chooses to invest first and talk about its advantages in their videos and once the price goes up, they're the one who will gonna sold their coins first and leaving behind the others that have followed their footsteps.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 02, 2023, 11:21:48 AM
I am giving credits to Pereira and I had my doubts about him going one division higher after losing from Adesanya, but he proved me wrong.
I think it's time for Tony Ferguson to finally retire after losing so many fights in a row, it is sad to watch him like this and Dana is just milking him for more money.
Derrick Lewis is back with a win and I was sure he was going out similar way like Ferguson, but maybe we are going to see few more good fights from him.

It's really hard to win after a loss especially when you get knocked out by your past opponent because the emotional damage will be the main problem for you to not to focus and be scared to attack in your next fight. Thankfully he handled it well and managed to beat his opponent in the upper weight class and he should be staying there for a while in order to be comfortable until getting a worthy opponent once again. As for Tony Ferguson, he has done a good job to accept that fight but that's not gonna work well just like that, and losing that fight might gonna be considered for him to finally retire for real.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capitalizing a smart trading strategy on: August 02, 2023, 10:49:40 AM
That's just how their luck goes because the others choose to quickly sell their coins in order not to be late because sometimes being late will result in not getting any earnings at all because the price will most likely crash due to the overwhelming numbers of sellers from those people who get their rewards from airdrops. But it seems like the other way around since the price is even more higher in different exchanges which does not happen often in the past few years just after receiving the rewards from airdrops. I think most of the time they are just being safe but forgot to risk the opportunity which they learned the lesson after that incident.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in DogeCoin or Bakac Coin for the Uptrend season? on: August 01, 2023, 04:33:23 PM
You need to consider to think if Doge Coin really matters to Elon Musk he could have used all of his power to make it more popular than the top cryptocurrencies but the truth of the matter is, he is not serious about it rather he was just playing with the investors and he was just keep saying things about Doge to make its market alive. That's why when you see some veteran investors convincing others to buy Doge, it is because they are just gambling their investment with the new investors and when they see the price rises at a decent price, they rush to sell their Doge in order not to get back their capital with a decent amount of income.
1173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18, holding my bitcoin and looking forward :) on: August 01, 2023, 03:15:02 PM
If I were you, I wouldn't put any time to sold all my bitcoins rather I will wait for the new bull runs which will probably gonna happen after the bitcoins halving or a year after that just like the historical graph shows us. there are lots of people who are waiting like you and they are just waiting for the price to decrease a little bit and maybe after that, there will be another surge of bitcoins price because lots of investors will rush to buy bitcoins at that time. You need also not rush to sell when the price is not doing well in the crypto market and you need to be patient to wait for it to recover again in order to save your money and maybe gain more earnings after that.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 01, 2023, 01:10:32 PM
I am not really a fan of loaning, even though i really need a money or there is something I wanna buy, I wont borrow money for it but instead i will save money and wait until I have enough money to afford that thing, what more if you are going to gamble the money that you have borrowed, this is is really a dumb thing that people doing especially those addict, and I think people with good and normal thinking wont do that thing, online those gambling addict will do.
The worst part of this is whether you lose or win you still have to pay the money with interest and that makes it more problematic especially if you lose.

An intelligent person will never consider doing that in the first place and they also avoid many risks in order to save themselves from major problems in the future. Those people that are mostly deluded are just wanted to play even if they don't have anything to fund their bad habit anymore which most likely ended up in a bad way just like the news I watched years ago where the suspect free fire in Casino because he lost everything and ended up taking loans which in the end he won't able to pay it anymore.
1175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should P2P on centralized exchanges should be called? on: August 01, 2023, 12:36:36 PM
The centralized exchange plays a crucial role as an escrow service, securely holding both cryptocurrency and fiat currency from both parties to facilitate trustworthy transactions. In contrast, decentralized exchanges face challenges, particularly in peer-to-peer transactions involving fiat from banks. Nevertheless, the centralized exchange fulfills its purpose effectively, and I am satisfied with its performance.

Thanks to these new features which we don't find in any of the exchanges before, we escaped the local exchanges' bullying which they asked for a high amount of payment when they convert your crypto into fiat which doesn't really make sense at all. But with this new feature from most of the popular exchanges, we can trade it easily to other people and they pay a reasonable price for your bitcoins which is closely the same as the current market price. As for me, I don't have to worry about what they gonna call it because all I can say is the feature is super convenient and good for newbies to try.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The British Museum has announced to turn artefacts into digital co on: August 01, 2023, 12:02:52 PM
So they just making pointless NFT collection with copies of the real exhibits. They are not trying to save them in the digital world, they just want a cash grab. And I'm not buying that.

Obviously, they will gonna say that the artifacts will gonna have unique codes in order for them to stay unique and that will gonna be the best thing they can do if they wanted to make some NFT out of each artifact but the prices are not gonna be cheap because they probably pay more money in order to make it looks like unique and have rare designs. Honestly, I'm not interested in buying it but I just probably wanted to see some copies because right now, they can just make some beautiful designs since the NFT market already improved since its first introduction to the public.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 01, 2023, 11:18:25 AM
Lakers is considered to be a dark horse as well, if I'm not mistaken, of course some of the core is back but still, a ageing Lebron and then injury prone AD? Still not sure how far the Lakers can go in this season.

No matter what happens to them in the Lakers this season, they have already done their job and won the championship because that's just all that it matters when you are with the Superteam trying to be a contender in the NBA league. It will be more amazing when they can get back to the NBA playoffs this season because they easily made a great run last season and also beat the defending champion easily. The worse thing they did was signed Westbrook despite having multiple stars that can help them with the championship again last season.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC asked Coinbase to halt trading in everything except BITCOIN, CEO says on: August 01, 2023, 10:40:48 AM
Wow, this is quite surprising. However, it appears that the request for deletion of altcoin assets is not a formal request from the SEC. This is getting interesting, let's see how Coinbase officially responds to this

Maybe bitcoin is considered by the SEC to have undoubted value so they recommend bitcoin trading. This shows that the SEC is on board with bitcoin and the value of bitcoin is so strong there is no doubt about it. Bitcoin is a commodity that has a high value, I think that is undeniable and the SEC justifies this with their statement, because they reject altcoin trading in favor of bitcoin

There is no bad when Coinbase wanted to do that but as we know, they are gonna lose huge amounts of money as well because the SEC won't cover the possible incomes that the Coinbase gets from altcoins trading in their exchanges. We all know when SEC gives their verdict on something, it is because they are seeing some gain in the future about it. Therefore, Coinbase should consider not following the SEC because there will be no turning back if they do so and they will gonna be overcome by their competitors because of this kind of limitations that they have.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2023, 01:36:13 PM
Lot of time ahead for the start of the season, but in your head, wich team do you thing its gonna be a contender and wich team its gonna be a tanker in the bottom of the table?

We can say surely San Antonio comes back again to be a contender after a few long years being a tank team.

Since the Denver Nuggets is the defending champion, all the NBA teams are mostly working on how to beat them and one of the contenders that will gonna surely compete with the Denver Nuggets this upcoming season is the Boston Celtics because they cannot afford to lose the chance again and again when they are few wins away to get that championship. surely they will gonna be different this upcoming season and they will gonna improve their play in order to secure every win to get back in the NBA playoffs and have a higher chance to get the NBA championship as well.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 31, 2023, 12:00:38 PM
As for me, I'm not scared and I'm willing to teach everyone about it but what I'm worried about is when they put the blame on me when their investment goes the wrong track and there are lots of incidences where the crypto market has gone down due to the volatility and some of the investors who don't know what they have done, blame the others for their failed investment. That's why instead, I only choose those who can simply understand the risk of investing and I will gonna highlight the scenario where they can use their investment despite the fact it has a higher chance to succeed because bitcoins investment historically has a higher chance of success rate if held for long term.
