1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: November 20, 2023, 08:31:43 AM
~
Other than that, I confess that I didn't spend much effort in publishing links to other casinos, so I'm not sure if they are profitable or not, but one thing I know for sure: the sites profit much more than the users who publish them.
The truth is, none of us earned money using referral bonuses. Why? One thing is that what we are sharing is a casino, and we know many people are hasty when it comes to casinos or gambling, so it's not easy to attract or refer one. Second, we are not popular. Yes, popularity is one thing that could make you earn referral bonuses. For example, streamers, vloggers, etc. can earn from referrals as many of their viewers could be attracted or tempted to try what they are playing, or simply streamers or vloggers can earn from advertising the casino and using their links.

For us normal people, it's hard for us to attract people to use our referral links. If we can get some, it's not enough to earn a fine profit, but maybe by hard work some can earn from it as there are a lot of ways to advertise now, especially on social media.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is the largest sports bet you have ever placed, and what was the result on: November 20, 2023, 07:19:26 AM
bonus question: did that experience cause you to play more or less? and do you still bet?
Well, like most of the commenters here, I like playing NBA basketball, I also like watching NBA playoffs, and I think that I could give it a try in betting on NBA plays as I have an idea which team could win or not and who's a player I can bet on, and so far, it's good because even if I lose, as I monitor my spending in gambling or betting, I can track that I earn more than losing. And I can't recall the largest amount that I win; I think it's $300–400 in just one bet, and does it make me play more or less? It makes me play or bet more, but of course with discipline in mind, and as a person, I sometimes feel greedy and end up not well. Still,  I know that I can earn from betting, so I only limit myself to one bet per day.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Letting the cat out of the bag on: November 20, 2023, 05:57:35 AM
Why is it my job to change anyone? In a perfect world everything would be free, people would help each other, noone would kill anyone, no adultry, no famine, no bad shit period. We obviously do not live in a perfect world and most only care about themselves no matter who it hurts.

I haven't seen anyone in such bad shape from gambling that I should intervene. People I know gamble what they can afford and go on with life.
Well, yes, maybe you don't have a care or concern for other people, but what the OP is talking about is that if you have someone who has the case of being addicted, maybe if they reach out to you as a friend, will you not help him? Or, let's say, you don't have the ability to help your friend, but can your conscience take it? That's what the OP is referring to: that maybe a gambling addict could wake up from their addiction if someone would reach out for them and help them get back on their feet. But you are also right that in this world there's no perfect, so maybe there are addicts to gambling who also don't have a concern for the people around them who could be affected by their gambling habit. But the thing is, the person itself should help himself; without the dedication to change, there will be no change, and we can't do anything from that.
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got started with Bitcoin and how it is blessing for me? on: November 20, 2023, 12:25:06 AM
In one of the thread, I made a statement that those who joined Bitcoin early and still held till date are the true believers who understood what Bitcoin was and where it was going.

To keep your money in bitcoin all the time and not touch it, you have to have money from other sources. What if a person has no other sources and lives off bitcoin profits? According to you those who live off bitcoin are not true bitcoin believers?

I am totally agree with you.
Since I am from a very poor family, at that moment I had nothing but bitcoins from which I could earn/get extra money.

I don't see anything wrong with using bitcoin as a means of livelihood. It's normal. If you don't overdo it and don't get too greedy, you can live on bitcoin profits for a long time. The main thing is that, God forbid, there is no situation in life that will require selling all bitcoins.
Yes, true, but of course, an investor should first know his or her situation. I noticed that because of the bitcoin hype, many people choose to invest in bitcoin without proper knowledge of it, resulting in losing the investment, and many choose to invest a large amount of money thinking that they could earn a lot right away, which is not the case. You could use bitcoin as a side hustle, but not as a livelihood. Why? Because bitcoin is volatile and complex, not every day you will win or earn; that's not it, except if you are really good at it. But if you know for yourself that you are not familiar with bitcoin, then don't rely on it alone; bitcoin is for long-term investment, so if you think that bitcoin could give you earnings every day, then stop dreaming. To efficiently earn in bitcoin or in any crypto currency by many means, you have to go long.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: November 19, 2023, 10:50:22 PM
If you're hiding money from the government and mostly from your wife, this is what the other gamblers do.
I've done with it before knowing Bitcoin, but until I know how to hide it using a bitcoin wallet, I won't do it again. Because when I think about it now, hide our money on gambling site online is very risky from hacker or the owner site online. but it also depends on how much money you hide it, If only $100 or $200 that is not a problem. Maybe if we are bored, and I want to clear our mind, hide on gambling site is good, While saving dan hding it maybe we can also make it multiple from $200 to $400. There is nothing possible as far as you trust it.

hiding or saving money in any gambling site is okay depends on the amount but not recommended, like what you've said, It's very risky and there are some possibilities that your money will lose in case the gambling site has a problem and tends to close. It's okay if you keep the allocated fund for your gambling on a gambling site but not that much amount, Just save the majority of you money in reliable crypto wallet.
Storing money or even a crypto currency asset on a gambling platform will never be recommended. Well, it depends on the person if he will take the risk of storing it there, but gambling platforms tend to have issues in terms of money being lost and are prone to being targeted by hackers as they know they could get something from the platform. But mostly, this method of storing money on a gambling platform is used to hide confidential money—money laundering, for example—as some gambling platforms are illegal. That's why it is not appropriate to store money in such a way. Anyway, it's up to a gambler or a person if he or she wants to use this method. Just make sure that the amount is not too big and that the platform you put it on is one you can trust, its hard to trust in such platform now a days tl handle our money.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really too Expensive? Then Buy Satoshis on: November 19, 2023, 04:11:35 AM
If Bitcoin is too expensive then you should have bought sooner!  Tongue  Grin

Furthermore I would argue that the topic title should be: "Not enough money for Bitcoin? Then buy Satoshis." Because the value of both Bitcoin and Satoshi scale, so you are buying BTC at the same Satoshi price as you would be at buying Satoshis. If you consider Bitcoin has a too high price-tag then so do the Satoshi.

Although I would also argue that Bitcoin under 100k is not expensive.
You can't say that many investors in bitcoin are late in buying it when it's affordable. That's why, even without buying the whole bitcoin, an investor could still earn. Bitcoin is just the whole thing; satoshi is the small fraction of bitcoin; it's like a cent to a dollar, so you brought a fraction of bitcoin, which is called satoshi, but of course, in exchange, it will only reflect bitcoin. So anyone who wants to invest in bitcoin can still do so; it is not too late. The most efficient way to earn through bitcoin is by trading, but if they can't do as much complex trading, holding a fraction of bitcoin could be profitable. I also do holding or trading, so I realise that it's still not too late. Theres still an opportunity and chance to ride if bitcoin will bullrun; you just have to have patience and wait for it, and of course, grab the opportunity and risk.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you in profit? on: November 18, 2023, 11:00:21 PM
I have noticed some individuals claiming to be successful in gambling.
but, my personal experience with online gambling platform over the past 8 months has been consistently unprofitable
I haven't broken even or made any gains. I'm curious if anyone in our community has actually achieved profitability through gambling. If yes, we can calculate that how much percentage of us are profitable.
I know most of the people pay to win and deposit to recover previous losses.

write in this format:
Code:
Context:
[color=green]YES[/color] [color=red]NO[/color]

Well, I think it will be your problem; for the past 8 months, you haven't gained any profit. Then I think you should stop gambling or take a rest for a certain time before it's too late, before you get more addicted and lose more money. And maybe you gained some profit but didn't notice. That's why it's important to keep records to track your losses and wins. I've been into gambling for quite some time, and so far I can say that I earn more than what I lose. For example, this month I allocated $200 to gamble, and by keeping track, I can see that I quite earned roughly $100+, which is a good profit. Maybe you just lack recording your spending, or maybe gambling is not for you, then better stop before it's too late. Maybe give your time some rest and, of course, your spending. Anyway, good luck if you still continue.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An easy approach to Bitcoin on: November 18, 2023, 12:43:42 PM
Most people especially kids have heard about Bitcoin or crypto currency without really knowing what it is about or how it works.recently I came across a particular video which I found online.it was an animated video giving a very brief and basic knowledge about the concept of Bitcoin. It talked about why Bitcoin was created, how Blockchain works ,as well as mining.I saw it as a good approach to teaching young ones or even newbies about Bitcoin.Without saying much here is a link to the video.
https://www.facebook.com/reel/3050082035123654?mibextid=Hn3EexMF1WhlYZLE
op To me teaching bitcoin to kids is nothing but stupid. Because children do not want to study properly under the guise of play. They cannot focus on something as important as Bitcoin. They are just busy with sports, if you try to teach them about Bitcoin, you will fail completely. Bitcoin should be taught at a time when you can make your own decisions. If you don't understand the importance of bitcoin, you will spend all day explaining it to kids and they won't understand anything about bitcoin. Sixteen to seventeen year old boys and girls can be taught about Bitcoin then they will slowly understand the importance of Bitcoin.
If parents want to teach about bitcoin, they have to wait until their children are of age to know about economics, markets, the meaning of money, and so on.
Parents must also be wise in teaching things, including teaching about Bitcoin, by adapting it to their age. But if they see something written about bitcoin and ask their parents about it, this could be a way to introduce bitcoin to them and show them the video so they can understand a little about bitcoin.
Later, if they are curious and continue to ask more about bitcoin, their parents can teach them other basic things to increase their knowledge about bitcoin. It will give his children an understanding of bitcoin and they may be ready to receive further lessons about bitcoin.

I really don't understand what is the benefit of teaching bitcoin to children, why does it always become a topic of discussion when at their age it is only suitable for basic knowledge of life and most of the time their mission is to have fun and explore the world. I would love to know the people who are coming up with the idea of teaching bitcoin to children, have they done that with their children? Or do they not have children and know nothing about how to raise a child? Bitcoin is just a currency, and while they don't know what currency is, how can we teach them more complicated things?
It's because they keep wanting to make the children interested in bitcoin, which is a complex thing for their young minds. I get it; they are teaching a good thing to their child or to a young age, but that doesn't mean they have to absorb it. Remember, young people tend to forget what they watch or can easily be distracted and ignore certain things as they tend to explore and be curious. Yes, maybe some children might show an interest in bitcoin or crypto currency, but there are only a few; they are the exceptional children. I hope this age of bitcoin or crypto currency is a trend. They don't push their children or young people about things that will be too complicated for them and may block their youth, as young people should focus on their character development and knowledge. Parents can teach all they want if the child is of an appropriate age, but there is still no guarantee that he or she will take an interest in it.

1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount of bitcoin or satoshi should hold for poor? on: November 18, 2023, 10:00:29 AM
Poor?!!! Really, from the words you said, "poor" means it has no capability to obtain a bitcoin or even a fraction of bitcoin. Why? It's because they will, of course, buy necessities first before anything; they don't have the time or money to think about bitcoin. Okay, let's take consideration. Let's say you are talking about those in the middle class. Then what they need is just a fraction of bitcoin that they can afford, and the money they used is money that could be extra or money that they can afford to lose. If you know that you have other things to buy, then they will not be interested in this thing, but if you want to make your life easy, then it would not be bad to invest even the amount that you can in bitcoin. It doesn't need to be that big at first; you just need to start.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most important thing in a betting site on: November 18, 2023, 07:43:06 AM
I guess anyone who does betting should have the responsibility to check or do research first to see what's the best betting site or application, and if they've chosen one, they should review the ratings and feedback. Why? Well, it's because you will see and know what kind of betting site you are entering and will know their good and bad sides, and most importantly, because it's better to know the bad parts of the site before entering that site. Like, for example, what the OP said about withdrawal, many betting sites and applications delay the withdrawal process, or there's a certain period of days before you can receive the money. If the gambler is not happy with that, then he or she could blame the site. Well, in the first place, it's their fault because they don't research first and know what kind of withdrawal process the site does. So it's very important to know the site first before anything else; it's for the gambler's safety and convenience.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: November 18, 2023, 06:03:38 AM
If you walk into a casino with $200 and you start playing with that $200 and you win $200, get the hell out, you simply just doubled your money, take your goddamn leave, what do you think you wanna do? Win a million dollars? You will go home empty handed.

The next thing that rings in your ear is you can still win another or more, that's the devil whipsering, the art of gambling is knowing when to stop.

The only game where you have some power is in Poker, not the online one, this is the best game in casinos, as making profits off of bad players is possible.

As for Other games, You are at the mercy of the house.

No one actually visits the casino to have fun, you gotta trick the mind, I like to think of it has a fun night out and I am going to spend a few hundred dollars and have a good time and if I win it's a bonus, like I've said, you gotta trick the mind.

Always remember this, you are there to win a game where its statistically impossible to win at, it's not impossible to not understand this about gambling, a wise man once said, "if you want to make money with gambling, own a casino".

A gambler that knows what his doing, knows when to stop.  A lot of times, you can actually go to casino with that same $200 and you will end up not winning a dime. So for you to even double your invest by gaining another $200, that's a plus to you. So like you said, the best thing is to leave after a successful win,  don't let the devil trick you to stay a second,You can fight another day.
About the thing that a gambler that knows what he is doing knows when to stop, I kindly disagree with you about that, not generalising all the gamblers but mostly many gamblers become addicted because even from the start they know their limit or what they are doing, it is unavoidable for a gambler to become too addicted for a certain reason. Logic and thinking responsibly will be nothing to a gambling addict. That's why, from the start, if you know you can't control yourself, don't do gambling.

About doubling the initial capital, it's not that easy and you can't always do that. That's why it's much better to know when to stop and when to don't. For example, if you have $200 and you are playing for quite some time and still not gaining or doubling your capital, you should know that you need to stop. Don't push to reach that. For example, you can stop if you see that you've earned quite an amount. A win is a win, and a profit is a profit, no matter what amount it is.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 10:38:09 PM
Well, we know why in the first place. I dont want to stereotype, but most women or women don't have interest in complex things, and bitcoin or crypto currency is one of them. They are more interested in girly stuff, but there are some women who do cryptocurrency; they are the ones that are money-oriented and want to earn more money and discover bitcoin. As we know, bitcoin is not widely known, so it's natural that many women don't know that. The only way to discover bitcoin is by surfing the internet or spending more time online, which is usually a man's thing, as we like to play online or online.

Anyway, we can't just make the women like bitcoin; they don't like complex things such as bitcoin, and they much prefer a way to earn that doesn't require them to understand the complexity of bitcoin. Of course, bitcoin is risky and can be stressful.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a mega winner say no to public presentation? on: November 17, 2023, 10:03:32 PM
The wrong here is the casino itself. If the scenario is that they posted the winner's information and identity without consent or approval from the winner, and the winner doesn't like that, then the winner has the right to sue the casino. But for instance, if the winner initiates for itself to be posted or he agrees to be posted, then it's his fault. What he does is wrong; it's not wrong to flex your winnings, but there are consequences. There are many people with wrong motives who could take advantage of the information they have, and of course, the life of the young man could be in danger. That's why it's better to keep it low-key at all times. No matter how much you earn, you should not announce it. Many people out there are greedy for money and can do anything just to get it, and committing crimes is not an exception. Well,  better luck for the winner.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: November 17, 2023, 12:24:00 PM
I don't think that mathematics is related to gambling, because if it is related today we have seen that many genius mathematicians gamble and win in casinos, but unfortunately so far there are none. So gambling is still related to luck and skill, mathematics is only the umpteenth factor, not the biggest factor.
Yes, gambling is luck and skill, but of course don't ignore the fact that all things have a relation to math. Many gambling games relate to what we call "probability", which is the measure of the expectation that an event will occur or a statement is true. In gambling, something might occur, like you being a winner. For example, in the lottery, there is a certain probability or computation where you can get the right numbers, but of course it's too low. Still,  math can measure that. Slots are programmed to randomly give the jackbot, but of course there is still a probability for you to get the jackpot. You need to consider how many symbols there are and the series of combinations before you can hit the jackpot.

Although there's probability or math in gambling, it is still not enough for you to win. Why? Because gambling is a complex and unpredictable thing, it requires more than just skills and luck—skills to think about when to play or how to play—and a certain probability that will give you a win. It's not just about luck and skill; there are a lot of important factors to win in a gambling game.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you bet on when your league is in break? on: November 17, 2023, 07:40:05 AM
Well, in sports betting, I only bet on the NBA league and my country's basketball league. When they are both nearing the end of the season, I choose not to bet at all. It's not that I don't want to bet on other sports; it's just that I don't have the information and knowledge about the other sports teams and players. But so far, the NBA and my country's basketball leagues don't end the same season on the same date, so I still have an option as to which league I can bet on.

Maybe some other time I'll try other sports aside from basketball; I have little information and knowledge. If I have a chance, maybe American football. What I'm curious and want, if ever, is if there's betting for e-sports like League of Legends, CSG, Valorant, and many more. If there is, can somebody recommend the application that offers those services?
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start with the little you have, you don't need millions of dollars to own BTC. on: November 17, 2023, 05:53:06 AM
Accumulation can also be referred to as DCA ... however, I'm a bit skeptical about newcomers entering Bitcoin just because they see their friends making significant profits and are eager to buy Bitcoin. Newcomers usually don't understand that investing in Bitcoin requires patience; sometimes, it takes more than 6 months to truly see profits, or even several years. The mindset of instant profits should be kept away from those who are new to learning about Bitcoin; it's truly a poison that affects their emotions and only makes them frustrated because the price movements don't align with their expectations.

They should start learning that Bitcoin can be an alternative savings method, meaning every day they can save $5 or $10 according to their ability. After accumulating a significant amount, they can evaluate whether their savings have grown or remained the same. I believe that if this is done over an extended period, their savings will grow due to the increase in the BTC price.

That's what we called hype riders, meaning they want to enter an industry that they don't know or that is new to them just because they see its value or because a lot of people earn from it. I think many people invested and got interested in bitcoin or other crypto coins when the NFT's were popular. I will not say the specific game, but in my country, that crypto game became too popular because of the earnings you could get, and I noticed that many non-crypto people started to invest in it. A little while later, the game started to lose its value, and still many people in my country became crypto wannabe enthusiasts.

What I've learned is that many people will enter into something that they don't know because of its opportunity to earn, and nothing is wrong with that. What's wrong is that they think things are easy. Many borrow or load money, or some sell properties just to have capital they can use in bitcoin or other crypto currencies. Little do they know that the best way to earn is to start with a little amount, and then it's up to you and your ability to make your money grow. That's when you will know that you have a future in that industry or in the crypto world.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: November 17, 2023, 02:25:49 AM
Quote
Trying the unknown and winning big time is really fun experience.

Sometimes when we move out of our comfort zone, new surprises come our way. Perhaps I could try going out of my way too but playing responsibly of course.

Congratulations for your first time big win on slot game. Sharing the streamer's link can also encourage more gamblers to follow up.

This is actually quite rare- winning a slot game after watching a streamer gambling also!

Generally, streamers have a bad reputation on a gambling platform due to some bias happening. People have this misconception that ALL streamers have bias rates in which they stream games that have predetermined results in order to attract gamblers in a specific platform. Well from my experience, this is actually what happened and eventually that gambling platform closed.

Congratulations for your win, OP! May this win bring you more luck in the future!

this is just coincidence. he got lucky and that's it. i bet next time around, the results won't be the same. just think of the game involved here. the streamer's winning results may not be fabricated but we don't know how much he got paid, if he got paid. but fine, that's a lot of money for the streamer.

I agree it's just a coincidence. What I fear is that this scenario will be a ritual of the OP because he experienced it, and maybe next time he will always do that, betting on slots while watching streamers win, but what if the next time he does that, it doesn't turn out well? Will he blame the streamer? Is that right? No, I get what the OP feels, but in reality, it's just a coincidence. Don't have the wrong motivation to do slots just because you see the streamer you watched win; it can happen that he will do that next time, or, as I said, become his ritual or routine, but that's a bad idea.

Anyway, congratulations to the OP's win. The amount is amazing. I hope you saved up some of the profit and not used all of it for gambling, because you maybe got lucky that day and at first tried, but we never know what will happen next. Just don't have the hope that every time you play, you will win, and every time a streamer you watch wins, you will also win.
1178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you like AI for trading crypto? on: November 16, 2023, 10:08:45 PM
Well, first of all, this topic should be in the trading discussion. Anyway,  to answer your topic, AI for trading is a big no. Why is it simply because I don't trust the decisions of an AI? AI stands for artificial intelligence, which means AI or a trading bot will only rely on what information it has or has stored. Algorithm, analysis,  and execution will only rely on what it has, which means that if theres a new pattern in a crypto currency movement, for example, bitcoin, how can a trading bot execute a trade? Yes, it can compute the possible profit and loss, but how can you be sure that you will earn from it? Do you see a news article or even a statement that gets a lot of profit with the use of a trading bot? No bits because AI still has a lot to work on, and I don't think that AI could handle the unpredictable and volatile nature of a crypto currency.

That's why I'm not convinced by anyone who promotes trading bots; in the first place, is it legal to use? Still not proven; well, it's my opinion only, so yeah, I still will not trust an AI to trade for me. As an IT professional and crypto trader, I know the risk of using a trading bot.

From a casino affiliate that could easily earn some $$$$ to working with people that have problems coping
with gambling is selfless and commendable
!!!

And looking at how good the idea is from its facevalue, is this service free of charge, and for users that face a language barrier do your have other options available...

Otherwise hope casino's around can find a way to work with you guys and get to intergrate your services into their platforms Smiley

🤔

Wouldn't acting as a casino affiliate, which promotes and encourages gambling, invalidate the real purpose of OP?

Although, I do believe that the gambling industry has the responsibility to protect its customers and the people that regularly use their service to make sure that they're living normal and healthy lives. Because one more person that develops a gambling addiction, is another customer eventually lost.

I don't think casinos will have a concern or care for their customers. I haven't seen a casino online or offline that promotes moderate gambling or even a reminder to gamble at your own risk or what so ever. The thing is, it's more advantageous to them if many gamblers become addicted and play for them. That's a sad reality, but that's how they earn or get rich, taking advantage of the misery of others. Well, I'm not generalising, but I know we are aware of how casinos work. If there is no money circulating, they could be closed or bankrupt, so they don't care for their customers at all. Even if there's a customer who's gone, they can easily find another one—in fact, more.

A game like this, like what the OP is promoting, can easily be useful and helpful if the person who's addicted initiates it by themselves. You can't easily convince an addict to gamble.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 16, 2023, 08:47:42 AM
Confidence is necessary for a trader, of course, because trading is not for weak-hearted traders who could easily hold back or back down if they see their trade falling down. As a trader who experienced being scared and nervous when I was a newbie in trading, I know that feeling. You will close your trade right away if you see that it is falling down, which is too risky and not appropriate. But what I have learned is that if you invest in knowledge and gain experience, confidence comes because, with knowledge and experience, you will be confident in your trades and will not wait for the expected point of profit.

because newbie traders will rely on the little knowledge they have and hope that their trade will profit, and from that experience, they will build their confidence to trade more and have more belief in their decisions. Confidence is something you've gained and built from your experience, so don't be afraid to take the risk.
