Maybe because their sales drop off and think of a strategy that could boost it anyways. Now they'll gonna have to hire blockchain experts developers to catch up, but even so late, it is better that never. If they could manage to do this and succeed, I think other companies would follow too. They have been always like these, want to be ahead of each other so they would do anything to provide uniqueness and soon all of the electronics companies out there would be blockhain ready.
1162  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 24, 2019, 02:19:34 PM
It has also a good side on it, I have been in this field and have known many investors in real life. They also bought at the hyped and you know what? They are still holding their Bitcoin and never had the thought to sell it. Now they have little knowledge about it and how it works they even have an urge to buy more. As of now they have more than a BTC and for whatever the reason they could buy it for almost 20k USD they should be having no problem buying them at the moment at all. They are bunch of professors in my university, so I was saying that time when Bitcoin and other crypto hyped, not all have bad impact but there are good things happen also. So if these kinds of scenario keeps going, little by little it is what we called mass adoption.
1163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto film brings Bitcoin to Hollywood on: April 24, 2019, 12:43:42 PM
It should be released on months or seasons with has no strong competence in the film industry. As you can see, famous movies and awaited series (GOT) are shown recently. Count avengers on, so the movie Crypto would probably have less watchers and cause a low impact on the society. If they could watch maybe because of referrals or boredom with no nice movies to watch. So these guys should carefully pick the release date or else it would go to waste.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience & endurance on: April 24, 2019, 09:46:17 AM
The moment I felt like stopping is always when good opportunities shows up, I've came to understand that after knowing every thing about crypto you can't do without these two tools

1) patience
2) endurance

If this two tools are lost you would be lost in crypto space and be filled with confusion
Bear, bear and bear all around, understandable isn't?
But for how long? Will bears be around forever? NO!
Cryptocurrency is growing, that's exactly what we want so why lose hope? Be full of patience and endurance or else you will leave crypto space in shame

I could be a lifetime of bear if you have chosen the wrong crypto currency to buy though. From the start all soft heated and have an easy temperament person should have just stay away from investing in this kind of business, the risk of dying due to heart attacks and other illness concerning the heart would be easily triggered. Even having those two characteristics would still be lacking in the crypto space. You should also have knowledge( it is powerful), without it you could go astray and buy some shitty coins and fall down straight to the dark abyss, you get the point? This ain't easy here so you gotta be tough.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How huge is the job of the legislature in the improvement of Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2019, 04:38:04 AM
Improvement in what? in price or something else like adaption? We already acknowledge Bitcoin as payment here in our country, the thing that it is not banned across our nation is one the proofs it is acknowledge. Well if it isn't they would jail people who have BTC and other crypto currencies including me. My accounts and my other fellow country men our open in the public, you see we follow rules here, submitting KYC procedures to prove we are not doing anything wrong. It is very important that the government supports Bitcoin and it's technology, but if you say the government should declare Bitcoin as the currency will be used in the country then it could probably start a civil war here.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I fell for FOMO on: April 23, 2019, 09:45:07 PM
I feel you broh, I was hooked up to that too when suddenly it goes beyond disappointment. At first it was cool but then when the bearish market arrived I stopped. I later on go to my parents house to mine there. As it is super cheap electrify for me because it was free. My rigs was in a good place and it has air conditioning to maintain temp. I did not realize the pain earlier, there are things to maintain that's one of the reason I felt I should just quit and buy then hodl.
1167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your plan if you bought around all time high? on: April 23, 2019, 01:54:25 PM
I want to ask everyone who got into bitcoin towards the end of 2017 and is currently at a loss, like myself  Sad What will you do when the market goes up and you get your money back. Sell or just keep holding?

I think I will sell 50 o 60 percent of it and will still hold the others. I already get over with the lost I had, I have extra cash now and you know what? I am still buying little by little in the current market state. So far the outcome is good and hopefully this will continue. This the days I have missed so much when most of the coins are in green. If I run out of cash in the upcoming weeks, gotta sell my gold accessories and add it to my BTC holdings.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sparks Imminent Crypto Bull Stampede with 44% Gains in 2019 on: April 23, 2019, 09:14:37 AM

I am alredy packed up and my savings are ready, just gonna have to go and buy more of Bitcoin. The bullrunwill start any time sooner that expected, hodl guys!
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what type of ideas you should share here? on: April 23, 2019, 01:20:00 AM
The ideas you should share here should be entirely constructive and should be something that teaches users on understanding the bitcoin world .here are some constructive  ideas related to bitcoin
 News related to bitcoin
How to get bitcoins and  issues related to mining
How to  invest  bitcoins and  concentrating on their transactions
Any creativities related to bitcoins  and the market situations of the current bitcoin

As much possible it should be unique ideas. Discussions that are not yet still available at the moment. If you have information that could lead to Bitcoin's growth should probably be shared here. In your statement above, most of them are already discussed and some are just repeated because old threads are being covered with new.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: April 22, 2019, 10:39:14 AM
Here in our countr, betting is one of the common forms in gambling and that include spider fight.betting. Spiders could be easily spotted at night in the mountain areas where they will going to make their spider web to catch its prey.

Now, since spider do fights when meet, gamblers take this chance for.betting. Do you have experience on spider fight betting?

Note: Not all spider's fight for it will depend on its classications and some are too poisonous if got bitten will result to death.

These spider's are the common spiders that are not poisonous.

If you by chance have friends and colleagues who knows technical skills, you could develop a site that bets on all kinds of animal fights. Yes it could sell, these days players are looking into something new to them and must be fun also. I was searching for a site but never have met one. Insects, little animals etc.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain study on: April 22, 2019, 04:19:38 AM
Hi !

I have to study the short, medium and long-term application of the blockchain within the financial sector for my thesis. My professor gave me this topic and I liked it so I said yes. I am thinking about studying who's really working on implementing the blockchain to see if it's just a buzzword or if the majority of the companies are really investing in it and not only talking about it and about their ideas by searching on the internet informations for example. And getting in touch with different companies. I'll be doing my internship at EY next year so I'll try to get the opportunity to have information too. And PWC has already done this type of research so I thought I could also compare a little bit my results by the end of my research.

I don't know if it's a good idea for the empirical part of my thesis so I wanted to know what do you think about it Huh
And if you have other idea please let me know beacause I am a bit lost.

I'm also new here so I don't know if it's the good place to ask my question. I'm sorry if it's not  Undecided

Thank you !

PS : I'm also sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker ^^

Welcome to the forum where you could find answers to your questions regarding Blockchain technology. If you read the past discussions of Satoshi Nakamoto and the rest of the gang here you could learn a lot and study how it came to fruition. You are one of a kind researcher, How I wish I would be in your position. 1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Trusted Managers Don't Accept Red Trusted Participants on: April 21, 2019, 10:46:12 PM
Isn't it unfair?

Most of the bounty managers has red trust but they never accept red trusted participants mostly on their signature campaign. If ico making this decision so why are they hiring a red trusted manager?

There are no sane people who would hire negative members to manage their campaign if they knew he was cheating his own campaign or doing illicit activities unless the employers also want to fool people. If you ever came across one then that project or that manager conspire to scam the investors and should definitely be avoided. We and the managers are only humans that made mistakes, we get easily dazzled if we see big money is coming right through us. If they are still continuing such projects, whatever the costs you should just disengage to avoid being dragged into the mess. It is most likely you could get negative trusts ratings also so. Or you could report to the admins and let them fix the issues.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: April 21, 2019, 03:47:50 PM
Hell yeah, even the roosters are allowed to be fighting with each other here on our place and so many people bet on each sides and there are millions of money involved in it. Any fights can be have bets on them as long as there is fairness in it. In our home town there are people taking care of a small fish called " fighting fish" and they put them to a fight with real money bets on them. I guess the imagination of humans are unimaginable if we talk about betting, we just can't get over even with even tiny animals and other living organisms have to put bets on.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 21, 2019, 12:50:38 PM
It is easy to state the truth that bounty hunting is still on the go until no new coins are born or no projects offers it anymore. Most people that have no money to invest on any sorts of investments like trading would definitely go to bounty hunting. Aside from low risk, it can be profitable with no money from your own pocket is being given. When I said there is a low risk, when the bounty uses Bitcointalk accounts, you could get negative trust or banned just by joining if you are not careful enough to research what you are joining. Well for most cases, when someone gets his bounty payment he use it as a capital for trading.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? Please voice your opinion! on: April 21, 2019, 08:48:01 AM
I would be lying if I told you that it is just one of those reasons I gamble. It is actually mixed emotions, all of the above options are mixed in one and I don't know what you call it. Sometimes family problems, I ran into this kind of activity. I don't know what's the case between most of the gamblers out there but there are different kinds of reason at different kinds of situations or timings.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 21, 2019, 08:09:23 AM
It is a no go for me, my parents are strict, even though I am a married man now still they watch me most of the time. Picturing it out gambling would them gives me goosebumps. They are religious people and never had a chance to gamble even once in their life. When we were still kids we used to play cards at home and when we got caught by them they punish us with sticks.
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 21, 2019, 04:25:49 AM
I remember the first years of bitcoin's life. There were so many things to do and learn: mining, faucets, wallets, blockchain visualizations, etc.

Nowadays the bitcoin world is pretty boring: mining is for people with deep pockets, faucets don't exist anymore, wallets are getting centralized by big corporations (blockchain.com, coinbase, etc.).

Is there anything fun left to do with bitcoin, any specific application, website, app, anything that will make bitcoin fun and interesting again? Otherwise I just keep on holding and that's it.

Mining is still fun for me, I have free electricity that's why. By a cold storage for your wallet, it's decentralized, still bitcoin is decentralized. They many things still available to learn. We are currently at the stage of development and there's more to come, so don't stop learning. There are more things you can do with Bitcoin now compared to it was way back your time, so many things.
1178  Economy / Economics / Re: The Great View of History on: April 20, 2019, 02:15:57 PM
Why do so many people think that crypto will replace FIAT in the future even when its adoption rates are so low at the moment? This will never happen since FIAT will always be the primary money source despite its disadvantages which you mentioned.

Bitcoin was always meant to serve as an alternate payment method and nothing else in this case.

He was talking about the adoption on the future, later on it will just happen and that's the fact that we can't deny. If we see the current state of crpyto currencies it is developing and more people are adopting the technology. If you believe that all of this is a bubble and and meant to pop, then you are wrong. Think wisely, if those people who controls the world had an intention of stopping this technology then they could have done so with how much wealth and power they got right now, but still it remains and continues to grow, truly it is out of their reach.
1179  Local / Pilipinas / Re: bitcoin - nanatili sa $5k level on: April 20, 2019, 01:36:31 PM
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: April 19, 2019, 11:51:59 PM
You are saying the fear of losing big money made you changed your mind and adopted a religion? What on earth did happen to you to change a sudden course like that. What was the religion you chose? I bet it was some religion who prohibits you from gambling. That way not only fear stops you from gambling again but also the fear of God. Things like that are possible somehow, the state that you are now proves that. Even criminals have changed for the good because of fear of losing their heads if they continue to do bad things. The difference only is that your's is money and them are their lives or for the sake of the family.
