I would like to add also this thing : You can have both bitcoin & ethereum, what is the problem? The first doesn't put down the second & viceversa. It's a stupid fight between bitcoiner and ethereum users, I think also that is better to have more 'coin' instead to have only one because it's a sort of decentralization and free choice. Ethereum is here to stay no doubt about it. I dont think it will become bigger than bitcoin. But it;s always nice to have diversification, and have multiple innovations going on.
Exactly, this is what I said.... and this thread will lose all its meaning if we start to think that both coins/projects are not enemies. |

It might convince users if one day I can see some signature campaign here paying ETH of some gambling sites like ETHcasino.com to any with eth on its domain exist. Itshould be a great leap for ETH if this happen. but until we use this forum, it may never happen. and look at its domain bitcointalk.org
There isn't a good reason to do so. You don't really have any good reasons to switch over from Bitcoin to ETH from a users perspective. If anything, you have reasons to stay here (e.g. POS). Here more info : When you register, the IP that you used when you submitted the registration form is used to calculate your evilness. The more frequently this IP or its neighbors were banned, the more evil is associated with your account. The amount of evil associated with an IP decays slowly over time, but the amount of evil associated with an account does not. You must pay or be manually whitelisted to enable posting on one of these "banned" accounts. I'm invested in LISK, mainly because i think the team is enthusiastic, ran a good ico compaign and have a good idea to invest in.
MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT THE COIN GOES OUT TO THE MARKET RIGHT AFTER THE ICO ENDS. WHICH MEANS- NOT MUCH DONE IN ORDER TO MAKE THE COIN ATTRACTIVE.
MY SUGGESTION-
1. DELAY THE DATE IN WHICH THE COIN GOES OUT TO THE MARKET IN A FEW MONTHS.
2. IN THE MEANWHILE- HIRE A GOOD TEAM WITH WELLKNOWN FACES AS ADVISORS.
3. START BUILDING THE PROJECT WITH GOOD PR.
OTHERWISE- im sure the coin value will drop once it goes out- AND WE DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN.

Without any real world applications, I don't think Lisk will surpass Ethereum. We need a good idea of how a Javascript application can be useful as a DApp.
Is there any specific documentation on traditional apps vs DApps?
Yes of course, lisk can't even surpass ethereum but (maybe) can create something similar. However the people are investing because they want to double (or x3) their investment, most of them don't care about the 'technology' behind it. x3  even most part of Iota investors don't sell under x10 although it doesn't exist yet. One should be a complete idiot to sell Lisk under x15-x20 Nah , most of them will sell also for a miserable x2 . |
