1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150,000 US dollars and my target is a 10x gain. Stop me going all in now on: May 21, 2021, 07:18:09 PM
always leave 15-20% of your portfolio in USDT simply for the reason that dips happen at least twice per month. Being able to buy the dip allows you to get out of the hole quicker, is better for your emotions, and though there are too  many possibilities to quantify, I think over time your profits will be just as good.  The only other viable strategy in crypto is to just buy and hold.  It's alot less work.
What you have mentioned here are basic investment strategy as no one invest everything they have and they hold the reserve to invest when the market goes down especially when you are investment when the market is high. Most of the investors in the cryptocurrency market follow the buy and hold method as it is less risky and less stressful especially because of the high volatility.

The other major thing you need to follow is never use stop loss with a huge margin and the prime example was two days ago when the market had a good correction and anyone used the stop loss function might have liquidated their asset and then all of a sudden the market recovered and you might miss investing in it again.
1162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fucking rich whoever bought bitcoin around $30,000 -$31,000 on: May 20, 2021, 11:23:38 PM
Yes, if you are one of them, you should be richer now. Bitcoin went up to $40,000 now, when yesterday it was down to $30,000. You have made 30% profit just within 1 day whatever the amount you bought the dip/crash (whatever we called it) several hours ago.
This is the opportunity you only get in the Bitcoin market where you see a major correction and then all of a sudden the market recovered and i was waiting to see the market settle down and at one point i thought the market would go down further as the entire alt coin market was bleeding badly and i was not in a position to make any decisions but congrats to anyone who was able to invest when it touched $30k as the recovery was faster.
1163  Other / Off-topic / Re: Musk deleted his Twitter bio: no longer a technoking and Mars imperator, hooray! on: May 20, 2021, 07:24:13 PM
Our first victory folks! Musk realized he is none of these, only a clown and acted accordingly.
It is better to avoid him, started to get annoyed when i see his name, like everyone i was glad when he started pushing Bitcoin but now we are back to ground zero and all he does is to manipulate the market and if he is doing that even after holding billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin then i have no words to say but if that is not the case he should face legal issues for manipulating the market.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still okay to fake kyc in 2021? on: May 20, 2021, 06:18:24 PM
I’m sort of new to the scene but I’ve noticed how much money there is to be made in IDO’s. The problem of course is that almost all requires kyc and doesn’t except USA people.
It is best to avoid faking your identity while investing in these projects as it might create problems for you. You can either seek help from reputed users with the help of escrow to purchase the coin for you and that is the best solution rather than faking your identity as it can also create issues for the project team as well and these teams are avoiding US citizens to avoid these legal issues.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 20, 2021, 12:02:55 PM
I am not surprised to read bout a match fixing in general, particularly not surprised that any short of fixing happens in India, where you can actually buy a certified negative COVID test from the f*ing laboratory that is certifying the results for just 20 extra bucks.
Are you saying that people are getting fake COVID test report and why would anyone do that when people are literally dying as per the news reports i have seen and this is criminal and i have no idea how to react to these.

Sreesanth, who was acquitted by the court on spot-fixing allegation contested the election for the ruling BJP (but lost the polls and came third).
If he contested for the ruling party then why he did not get the permission to play in the IPL .

Anyway, don't place your bet if you think the match is fixed so you wont lose money, we can also see such matches in Boxing nowadays.
How do we even know whether a match is fixed or not, we only come to know if there is an investigation going on. Even if we placed a bet and lost the bet the money is gone and you are not getting your funds refund even if at a later time it is found that the particular match was fixed.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 20, 2021, 10:42:57 AM
IPL hype died for me this year. I was excited when Tourny started but the way things went south drastically, a bit disappointed. Now i'm just looking forward to T-20 WC as last year it got cancelled.
I would like to see the T20 World Cup as it is much easier to make a prediction than the IPL as some of the matches are usually really competitive and i was getting used to the matches and getting my predictions correct and then they stopped the tournament all of a sudden  Grin.

Now I suspect that the other teams might also take a similar position. I am afraid that the days of BCCI elbowing other boards to dance as per their whims and fancies are over. Apart from the poorer boards, I don't think that anyone will agree to the tournament to be conducted in India (especially after the fiasco we had during the IPL).
Every players and their respective boards should take a position that they cannot travel to India as i was watching the horrific situation everyone is going through and you cannot conduct a tournament when things are really bad. They should move the tournament outside India.

In related news, Asia cup has been postponed once again (probably to 2022), and the PSL resumption is also delayed.
Hopefully we will be able to see the PSL resuming before the World Cup.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase adding dogecoin on: May 19, 2021, 05:25:14 PM
Took Armstrong enough time to add them.  They missed a lot of action this year.  Coinbase seems one step behind the curve. Coinbase is definitely warming up to alt trading though Smiley
A pump can make some major decisions and it is good to hear that Doge will be added to Coinbase but what happens if the market starts dumping, will they be changing their plans. Will see how it goes and whether they will be adding in the next few weeks.
I am not using coinbase, i would like to know how many coins are listed.

Edit: I thought only a few coins are listed but it looks like there are more coins listed in Coinbase and Doge does deserves to be listed as well.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 19, 2021, 11:48:49 AM
I think that the market will recover when people will stop panic selling. But, some people will try to cause this panic or dump on purpose to buy cryptocurrency as low as possible. I think that we have entered accumulation trend right now and the price will recover only when it will be enough. I dont expect a quick recovery, I expect market to be flat during whole summer and only in Autumn things will change to a uptrend or downtrend.
We are well past that time period where small time investors will have any impact in the market, when institutional investors are dominating the market you need to understand that they will book their profit whenever they feel that they had the planned profit and the correction is not just panic selling, there are many that are booking their profit and then there are other factors from different government especially China recently which is dragging the price down.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: May 18, 2021, 11:51:14 PM
Currently BSC has become a mainstay for traders because transaction fees using BSC are very low. so in my opinion bsc is the best. and make transactions using bsc the process is faster than ethereum. and have a totally centralized network
So you think that a centralized network can be trusted and you are really happy with the development. If i have to select between ETH and BSC chain i will always choose ETH simply because it is much more decentralized than BSC who simply copied ETH and started their own centralized chain and right now we see developers using both these network but it will change eventually when ETH upgrades is implemented completely.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 18, 2021, 11:15:15 PM

That's possible, but if If my memory serves me right, the contract between Fury and Joshua is not yet signed isn't it? And if Fury vs Joshua will proceed, Fury will have a potential lawsuit coming from the side of Wilder for not honouring the contract and the arbitration.
Fury and Joshua fight is not officially announced but the management and promoter of Joshua was claiming that the fight would take place in Saudi Arabia on August 14th and some of the insiders also noted that would be the date and that the Saudi will be building a stadium for the event, will see how Fury and his team will be managing this arbitration order and i do not think it will ruin the Joshua fight as they can overcome that easily.

Never knew this. I always knew that he was a gentleman in the world of Cricket, but this makes me respect him even more. He is a legend who chooses to remain in the shadows since he clearly doesn't crave popularity.
Dravid is a legend of the sport and even after retirement he is helping the young generation develop their cricket and the reason India is having so much young talent is because of the work done by these people in the background.

Personally, I am a defensive player which is why I respected his patient form of batting. Also, he is still a good looking Indian player in my opinion despite his age.
Since you like defensive players you should love Test cricket and i do not have the patience to watch Test matches but only do so when i am in the mood to gamble.

Yeah we'd say this was a weekend well spent
No doubt if you are winning $78842 in a single roll, there are really lucky rollers who are taking the risk but getting huge rewards, rarely do i see 600x whenever i am playing but for him to wage 1360 Tron which is above $150 means he is a high roller and he won big.
Congrats to whom ever won that money hope he will not bust everything  Grin.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: May 17, 2021, 10:12:08 PM
Big fight is coming in few days in Bellator 259 event with ex UFC champion Cris Cyborg (23-2) fighting against Leslie Smith (12-8-1).
Cyborg is clear favorite here to win here and she is few years younger than Leslie Smith, she has 3 inches reach advantage and this is her third fight after she left UFC.
Interesting thing is that this two fighters meat in UFC when Cyborg won with TKO in first round.
Cris Cyborg is a goat even though Amanda Nunes was able to defeat her and i wanted to see the rematch because when i was watching the fight i was convinced that Cris Cyborg would win the match and placed a huge bet on her and when the fight started i always felt it was a lucky punch as Amanda was swinging with her eyes closed and then never gave the opportunity for a rematch and there is no other fighter going to defeat Cyborg and i am sure the odds will be really low to place a bet on the fight.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: May 17, 2021, 08:54:11 PM
You're right and no matter what happens, the boxer should trust his manager because he is the only one how to deal with the marketing strategy in the boxing industry. The boxers will just need to condition their body and practice some new skills to get some new fans and to be able to maximize their profit and with that, both parties are happy. No matter how Crawford wants this fight to happen if Bob doesn't see the profit he wants coming, it won't gonna happened this year or next year unless the Pacquiao team will add more to that offer.
Bob Arum is a leech and he makes his living from the millions these boxers make and even Floyd Mayweather started making huge amount of money after breaking off with Bob Arum and he had to pay close to a million dollars to get out of the contract and these fighters might not have that kind of money to get out of the contract and hence they are stuck and need to fight according to the promoters plans and it is a really pathetic situation in boxing which needs a change.
1175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Game addicts=Worrying parents. on: May 17, 2021, 07:05:15 PM
Yesterday there was a parent who complained to me, that includes my family too, he confided in me: his son is currently quite naughty as long as he is addicted to online games, doesn't want to eat, didn't want to take a shower, didn't want to sleep and didn't want to hear what his parents were saying, his mind was only playing, playing and playing online games.

What can I say, I honestly feel sorry to see them, against his son's stubborn behavior, honestly I can't say good advice for them other than 'hit' them, but that's not a good solution to say.
The only solution is to take the kid to an experienced psychologist and you need an expert opinion when dealing with kids. In the past few years online gaming is creating issues for kids as you see many are addicted to them and in the present age it is a problem for many family and many are puzzled on how to deal with these situations. Punishing the kids will not make any changes rather than creating hatred in them.
1176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: May 17, 2021, 06:04:33 PM
Then thank the Gods for panic sellers because they make people like me get more profit from hodling for the long-term. I don't get how they are easily panicking over a news that never should get this big but there they are running with their tails in front.
You should rejoice as the market is giving you more opportunity to invest as the market is below $43k after a very long time and i would like to know what will be your entry point. I am of the belief that i am not too confident in investing at this price until the market settles down and there is no way i could predict when these institutional investors will dump their coins.
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: May 17, 2021, 02:20:03 PM
Despite their statement of declaration that Tesla will not sell their coins held, I speculate that they might have sold it days later. Elon appears to be behaving similar to the average cryptocoin trader in the forum after dumping hehehe.

Also, why would Elon continue to risk $1 billion of shareholder’s money by destroying Tesla’s own investment in bitcoin? Tesla might not be holding bitcoin anymore!
Even i am thinking on the same line, if not he would not come up with the theory of carbon emission and the high electricity usage if he is holding billions worth of Bitcoin and then all of a sudden withdraws accepting Bitcoin as a payment for Tesla and he wants the price to go down and may be he will be investing again, who knows what his intentions are either way it is not good for the market.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 17, 2021, 11:36:51 AM
If the senior players do not guide the young players properly or do not cooperate, it will be difficult for the Indian team to find young talented players in the future. Coaches in different franchises usually work more with senior or experienced players than with young ones. So senior and experienced players should cooperate with the youngsters.
From the look of it, the young talents are in a really good space and from what i understand the young talents are nurtured by the former players especially Rahul Dravid and you can see the number of talents that are exploding into the International scene and even in the India team i do not think there is any partiality and the former players are always helpful to groom the young talents and that is how things are in the England dressing room as well in the Australian dressing room.

Imagine what the inhabitants of the USSR were brought to, that for an attempt to sell JEANS, people were actually sentenced to capital punishment, i.e. death penalty by firing squad! No, I have not lost my mind, and not under drug intoxication, this is REALITY from the USSR, "the country of developed socialism" (here is an example https://lovetalk.ru/groups/interesnie-fakti/djinsi-kak-prestuplenie-kak-eto-bilo-v-sssr /, Google will translate). This was the face of "Soviet socialism"! And the price of "free", in the USSR, education, medicine (by the way, of a disgusting quality for the most part), was work for a beggarly salary. For example, about the same jeans - the average salary in the USSR was 120-150 rubles / month, and jeans cost 200-250 rubles, and someone had to bring them from Western countries.
This is the first time i am hearing about these specific brutalities but i have read a few and in totality it was a horrible period to live with two world wars and life was a struggle and then on top of that these sort of miseries and fear of the government when people are trying to make ends meet.

I will add that the countries you mentioned did not build 100% socialism, but they took a lot of it and implemented it into their system, and they did it much better!
I could see your point, they took the good values in socialism and implemented in democratic countries. Not sure every country who borrowed these values are doing much better as nothing is perfect and you need to look in different countries that implemented them to analyse the success ratio.
1180  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 16, 2021, 05:37:13 PM
I, too, wonder how people believe all sorts of rumors and assumptions... You could have put any name instead of Alibaba, like Microsoft or Facebook! Exactly, Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin, I guess Facebook will invest in bitcoin! Grin

Although I'm sure that eventually all the big companies will have bitcoin and the price will be completely different!
What is the point of these big companies investing in Bitcoin, they will just create the hype and pump the market and they will dump just like how Tesla did. These sort of investment by big companies does not bring any good to the market, the only advantage is the sudden pump in a short period of time and there is nothing positive in the long run.

My idle situation would be, major companies accepting Bitcoin as a payment method and that gives me more satisfaction as a Bitcoiner rather than hearing about companies investing to pump and dump.
