1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Honestly do we really got rugpulled in pandemic? on: November 10, 2023, 05:31:48 AM
But what can we do better than blame one side? I know the difficulties in many areas that have caused disruption to the seamless pattern that was previously practiced in society. Disease, war, poverty, pollution,... Yep, these things are not just happening, but they are happening with greater intensity. Maybe this is the main reason why I realize that this life is inherently nuanced but not good and needs a way to escape from that, and fortunately I have found a way to escape from those constraints.
Sometimes being unsatisfied in life is just a challenge for us all to improve together. Anything bad now helps us, facing it or avoiding it is a choice. Even the problems that have appeared in this market are considered very negative, but perhaps, looking with more open eyes, a bright future is still waiting for us.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: November 10, 2023, 05:21:54 AM

Any addict will not value the money they need to pay for their craving.

The same happens with alcohol. It doesn't matter how much they are paying, an alcoholic will continue buying more and more bottles until they are broke.

Similar to a gambling addict, they will keep betting until they are broke.

The gambling addict doesn’t seem to acknowledge nor value the money he has at the moment. What would be going through his mind and foremost in his thoughts would be the money to be earned after gambling away the funds at his disposal.
Same with any addiction. The addict would prefer to accumulating money, the feeling or satisfaction gotten after having fulfilled the desire to indulge himself in the habit. And that’s why money doesn’t seem to stay long in the hands of an addict.

It is true what you say, an addict cannot accept or appreciate what he has got, even though he has won, he will not necessarily think that it is better for him to stop gambling right away, but an addict has an imperfect sense of control so he still there by playing gambling again with the aim of making more money that was previously obtained, and I like your opinion that it is true that money will not last long if it is held by an addict because he will continue to chase winnings until his desires or satisfaction are fulfilled.
In the minds of addicts, gambling is the easiest way for them to make money. They will not accept their own stupidity, but satisfying that need will only make them lose more. Only when the cost is big enough to make them look back, or there is no longer a chance to look back, will this end. The irony is that gambling addicts always like to promise, and remember to never trust what the addict presents, it is just a lie, but of course there will be a few exceptions. I'm not sure if this is true, but most quiet gambling addicts have a distorted view of life, and they don't have much awareness about money, only seeing money as a measure of human value and nonsense about competition through money.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $50,000 betting goal by 2024. Share Your Thoughts With Me. on: November 10, 2023, 02:50:18 AM
What are your thoughts on these strategies to assist me in achieving my $50,000 betting goal by 2024?
Since the strategy is based on your own research, I wish you success in achieving your goals.
This is a huge amount of money given the winnable vision I have for gambling games, but I would like to ask a little more about how much you are willing to lose for this goal because this will happen when you make that journey.
I don't really have much of a strategy with gambling, as most of the money I can spend on gambling games is what I'm willing to lose, although I must admit I encounter quite a little luck when playing, but I understand that is not stability. With such a big goal, I think the approach strategy you build needs to reflect the amount of risk you are willing to take.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illuvium (ILV) price increase after news with Gamestop on: November 10, 2023, 02:30:11 AM
The trend will not be the same, but there will be some who will still be operational despite not being on the trend anymore.
Hype is long gone.

Well as for the news, it's pretty common that we see a short spike after some good news from projects. Just look at Ethereum's price right now just after Blackrock announced that they are applying for its spot ETF. It surged and surpassed the $2100. Of course both projects are different, but I'm just saying that any good news mean price increase for every project.
A bit of an aside, perhaps there is some connection when price increases occur on a large scale in the space, but I am not too surprised about the news being spread as a way to legitimize the price.

Even with technical analysis, market fundamental analysis, psychology,... I can also make some speculations about the possibility of fluctuations, but honestly everything is just theoretical speculation and the displayed results may be correct or incorrect. What we think of as trends really don't show much value outside of volatility charts.

I also accidentally saw the doubts of many people, but more honestly, it was a regret for not being able to catch up with this price increase. Even though excitement is growing, don't really trust what's being revealed. Even with the latest news about the ETH spot ETF, I don't expect a strong wave here, but of course this brings an exciting atmosphere to the market.
Vitalik! Oh, my goodness!

1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Treating bitcoin as a teenager. on: November 09, 2023, 10:23:16 PM
Yep, the perspective from which the OP evaluates and considers it as a teenager is also very interesting, but I don't know for sure whether it has limited development or not, so I don't attach to it because I believe that the ability to develop is limitless.

Many years ago I was very confused when talking about Bitcoin, and to this day that confusion still remains, it's just that the process of being exposed to Bitcoin made me love the possibilities it solves and the way if we accept and apply it in specific industry fields. Currently, I personally still think that Bitcoin(crypto) is something very new, as not everyone knows about it, so understanding its operation is also far away.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 09, 2023, 10:16:03 PM
Perhaps gambling behavior may or may not depend on bitcoin volatility.

Personally, I always separate them and don't see any connection. I'm not a regular gambler and I'm always ready to spend a small amount of money to find fun with slot machines. It's similar to how we can spend some money to buy packs of cigarettes, candy, bottles of water,...

But perhaps for those who have participated in online gambling for a long time, they also know the use of bitcoin as a payment tool, so they also agree that it can also create behavior for other people.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 09, 2023, 01:33:29 PM
And what results do we get with the strategies that people suggest themselves? I know most people lose more than they win. In gambling games, I find slots provide good entertainment, but the strategies to apply them with better results, I think are incompetent. Or maybe I don't really understand it, I'm just oversimplifying that I think offline or online games should stop when you've tried with 10% of the amount you plan to play for that day.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin help global refugees and migrants to relocate to new countries? on: November 09, 2023, 01:25:34 PM
Why do we think bitcoin does that for them? And why are we, the people who know about bitcoin and have the opportunity to change our lives and help those around us?

I think sharing and helping belong to the responsibilities and obligations between people. And bitcoin here is just a tool for us to do that, I encourage anyone who currently does not know bitcoin to force them to use bitcoin as a way to save their lives. What makes them live such a miserable life? Yes, it's not entirely true, but I understand why some poor countries due to embargoes tend to migrate to find a chance to live for themselves. themselves.

1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 12:10:20 PM
Why do altcoin don't have the characteristics of bitcoin? After the creation of bitcoin thousands of coin surface the crypto market, some altcoin became a huge success but some still reamain dumant and has no hope of even attaining the high of $1

Dogecoin is one of a long time COIN that has been in existence for over 10years now. since December 2013 dogecoin hit 0.0000869 on may 6 2015 and today is $0.076 now am wondering if it could reach $1price after 10years compeard to Bitcoin.
The potential of altcoins is something we do not need to discuss further, but looking at the fact that the few successes show their risks, the important thing is that altcoins are dependent on the development of bitcoin. So don't compare bitcoin with the rest of the market.

In the case of dogecoin, a cryptocurrency where much of its growth comes from manipulation and pump/dump by early adopters and their influence. Its current position in the market will have many different opinions, and the price increase expectation for this crypto will be similar to other leading altcoins, when the bull season comes, people will naturally come back to exaggerate to help it reach the target.
1170  Economy / Economics / Re: India is the new economic leader of global south. And replacement for China?... on: November 09, 2023, 04:26:46 AM
(...)So the question is - what do you think about India's potential, opportunities and prospects, in light of the idea of India becoming at least the economical "Head of the Global South", and possibly "one of the poles of the world system" ?
Even though I love the people and culture of this country very much, I don't think they can compete with China. Although the development potential is huge, as they have human resources, resources, and intelligence from the people here... but it is not enough for them to compete economically with China.

Some things that I am not sure are completely true, as disagreements within India's religious culture in maintaining caste discrimination will be a big challenge for them to rise to outstanding positions. , typically the gap between rich and poor in this country, and urban planning issues. I really hope to travel to India soon, to be able to experience and feel the reality of their lives, from the pictures that my friends shared before, some things that I admire are that they have a very impressive history, but the economic issue is not praised much, but it is easy to admit that they are developing very quickly.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not perfect, and that's okay. on: November 09, 2023, 04:15:24 AM
It is not created to satisfy any individual, but rather to determine how we will accept its use. I also encountered similar prejudices from individuals, not only towards Bitcoin but also other areas of life satisfaction should be transformed into gratitude. Yes, I learned to be grateful for everything in life and to be grateful for every perspective on life from individuals, even if they oppose it. I understand the tool story that connects us and our selfgiving. The right itself represents the view of living freely, but there is no obligation to make it better.

Just like we like someone when that person doesn't meet our needs in that relationship, jealousy makes us potentially harmful to them. It's a pity that that love is just a narrow mindedness that wants to possess rather than hoping for good things to happen to them (and Bitcoin is similar).
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 09, 2023, 03:57:28 AM
For every new gambler there comes a time when he becomes addicted to gambling. I was first introduced to online gambling when I was in college and since then I gambled little by little to save semester money or pocket money. At one point I felt like I was addicted to gambling because at that time I felt I should be gambling. When I didn't have any money, I used to borrow money from my mother for gambling and so on, but later when I finished college I realized that maybe I was going in the wrong direction, maybe I shouldn't be so addicted to gambling. Since then I tried to recover myself although it took me a long time to recover myself from that place but still I managed to recover myself. Now I gamble but not addicted to the tide but on my own accord. When I want to gamble I gamble, when I don't I don't gamble.
You mentioned the time in college that reminded me of the time when most of my friends participated in online gambling, and we also had groups that were often online to play together, but not to win money but simply entertainment when the games only rank points without depositing money. And at that time, my very close friend was also a gambling addict when he often borrowed money from me, even though we were both students. Perhaps the pitfalls of gambling made many people uncomfortable, including my friend, who had to pay the price, and he dropped out of school when he first started his second year. But actually, I don't feel too sorry for that friend it was only because he had to pay the wrong price. Only then can he be better aware of his own behavior.

Can you finance your studies with gambling money? sounds good guys. I lost more than I won, that's what made it worse. If I get a lot of wins in gambling it might have a good impact and there is no need to stop gambling. May I know what game you play?
Not to encourage that behavior, but I was lucky enough to bet my tuition money on gambling games. But that only happened once when I was in a situation where I didn't have many options to have money to pay for living expenses and couldn't ask for more from my family. Either I would go into more debt, or I would get out of the jam, and that luck happened to me. Ironically, I was quite lucky with offline games, as I had also won before with lottery games, but really, I don't want to become an addict, simply the experience of the people around my family makes me aware of the mistakes and risks that I encounter.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 09, 2023, 03:40:02 AM
At this point, it would be highly unusual for United to keep Erik Tan Hag. Spending hundreds of millions of dollars and then building a team that you want and still ending up with these terrible results are not normal. As a fan of Galatasaray, I am glad that they lost, a tie would be even better tbf Cheesy but I am glad that they lost, if we could tie with them and beat Copenhagen, or tie with Copenhagen and beat them, basically one win and one draw, the likely result is that we will go up as second, both other teams will face Bayern and likely lose, so we would get more points in that regard, we need to make sure we do not lose any games. But still, even though it does benefit us, seeing United this bad makes me feel sad, they suppose to be a lot better if you ask me.
This is the umpteenth time I have heard of Ten Hag failure in building Manchester United, he was coach with fairly high salary but it was not commensurate with his performance as Manchester United coach.
Ten Hag also used the team budget to bring in young players and got rid of several players who were relatively old, but this was in vain and even now nothing has changed.
I sure that if conditions like this continue to drag on, financial losses will only be experienced by Manchester United.

From their defeat against Copenhagen, they were in the bottom position with only 3 points and now Copenhagen and Galatasaray have the same points and they are just trying to fight for second place in order to qualify group phase.
Bayern Munich will clearly be first but the second place also seems to have big chance of being taken by Galatasaray.
After the match between MU - Copenhagen, I did not feel lucky for MU to only lose with a score of 3-4, they are actually losing their position from the beginning of the season in all competitions.
This season, I don't think MU's squad has enough depth to compete with other opponents, and now a series of bad days are still surrounding them.
The strategy Ten Hag is building with the team is unlikely to make the fans and coaching staff patient enough to keep him in the near future, but with results like these, MU is in a phase that is difficult but worthy of what they are showing.

P/s:
- What are your thoughts on this information?
- IMO, the Gamefi hype is slowly spreading now, and many people are starting to FOMO with this trend. Although the potential is undeniable, we need quality projects and enough longterm development capacity if we want this field to develop stronger.

1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gamefi alts; bull inbound? on: November 09, 2023, 03:16:45 AM

There is a lot going on in this sector, but my observation is that there is still a lot of hype before it can really be seen as a stable sector of activity. Actually, I think this is always a potential field, when looking at MC around 11b is still a quite modest number, although these statistics do not represent it completely.

We still need more quality appearances, and as well as time for the harmony between the ideas from developers and users to adapt to it, the current model does not have too many products worth trying.

Notice to those participating in https://www.memecoin.org/farming but don't expect too much because it may not be worth it when the number of participants is very large. As the dev mentioned, they will strictly filter bots, but imo, it will be difficult to give other specific criteria to apply to remove them. Waiting for the official announcement about the project.

1177  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Does Food Cost in Your Country? on: November 08, 2023, 03:03:53 PM
About 4 years ago, I worked for a company in the city with an income that I thought was very good, converted to about $1500, and actually, with that income, living expenses were not a concern of mine. Because every month, I only spend about $200 for rent + $150 for food and transportation + incidental expenses of only <$100. But I have completely moved to a place that is considered quite rural, where the cost of living is no longer a problem because I can earn my own food every day, and growing food is quite comfortable.
I have a small house near the hill, and there are also ponds around. Perhaps few choose the life I have now because the friends who often contact me and also often meet at my house all say my life is simple. I'm not sure, but in the place where I live, which is considered a country with a developing economy, I think the amount that people can easily earn monthly regardless of the job is probably > $300. With such an amount of money depending on living needs, the spending, IMO is enough so that people don't have much pressure. But for those who have bigger goals in life, of course they have to make an effort to get a good job, so they can build a house, buy a car, get married,... Anyway, for me now life is quite peaceful.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Believe That Reading People's Bad Experience Will Help You on: November 08, 2023, 02:46:02 PM
It's like we know the risks, and the choice to continue or stop is a personal decision. Compared to smoking, I think it's more of a warning to addicts than it is to newbies. Previously, I had read statistics about the death rate caused by smoking, which had an impressive number, but it was not as much as other pressures from society such as traffic accidents, war,... But going back to the issue of reading about bad experiences, I myself have experienced those things, so I also realized the need to change my own life. I have come into contact with many people who are considered gambling addicts, and the real lesson is to watch their lives. Their relationships in society gradually deteriorate, and their own lives also have ups and downs, even worse is debt and trying to escape, there are even people who have to be punished in prison. So I don't want that to happen in my life, and I hope it doesn't happen in anyone else's life. But sometimes this life has an invisible fairness, and we don't know whether things get worse or change for the better, it's up to us to decide.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Releases Web3 Wallet custodial crap on: November 08, 2023, 02:35:04 PM
(...)As OP said, surely it is not a self-custodial wallet. You did not own the keys, they can block and censor or freeze transactions. The term seems to strongly suggest they own the wallet, not the user. So it should not be categorized as a self-custodial wallet.
Although I'm not sure if it's necessary or not, I think it will be a product to make the Binance service more convenient. But if you think that competing with metamask, trustwallet,... or many other defi wallets, I agree that this is meaningless when your keys do not belong to you. And I'm not sure if it requires KYC to use, because Binance requires users to KYC, if this is true then it's definitely not necessary for me.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 08, 2023, 02:23:11 PM
(...)
1) Do not gamble in work area : It is not ethical to do so. Your employer is paying you to work for him for certain hours. If you waste these hours for gambling, it is a bad habit.

2) Do not take loan to gamble: Some young guys are so irresponsible that they take loans to gamble. It is a very bad move and can even produce life threatening conditions in future when loan recover agents knock your door.
Let me see, there are a lot of things that we shouldn't do
- You are not drunk or intoxicated when gambling.
- You don't need to depend on anyone's opinion to gamble because this is a game where you are the master.
...
Actually, there are many other things that could be mentioned, but I think each player will need to realize whether that action is harmful to themselves and those around them. The suggestion that I would consider reasonable for people who are not addicted to gambling is simply to view it as a form of entertainment, whether offline or online. Don't expect to get rich from gambling games because the few people who are considered professionals in this field will not encourage people to play regularly. Perhaps because I live in a family with a tradition of gambling for many generations and witness tragic situations, I don't want to become an addict.
