1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: May 06, 2018, 03:11:09 PM
Everything begins with intent. If you want to stop gambling, start from now round our determination and willingness to be able to stop from this misleading game. If we have a strong determination, it can be the main capital and strength to be able to escape forever from gambling.

In some cases, individual effort will not be enough. One might need medications in such  a case. Another option is individual therapy. In this process, the addicts are taught about the ill effects of problem gambling and how it has ruined the families of other gambling addicts in the past.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: May 06, 2018, 03:09:59 PM
not only make you poor, but you will be ostracized by your community and your own environment, even if you are obsessed you will try to steal for capital if you run out of capital.

Most of the people think that it is a problem only if they are spending thousands of dollars on gambling. There is no requirement regarding the amount being spent. This is because it depends on the financial condition of a person. For a person with $1000 monthly salary, it should not be more than $100. You should not touch the savings kept for emergency situations at any cost.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: May 06, 2018, 02:50:54 PM
I think buying ethereum is one good investment to get profit but wait until the price goes down, because if you buy the current price of ethereum is high so have big enough risk

ETH is costly, those with limited budget can consider coins like cardano.  Cardano exploded onto the scene in September 2017 and within just 2 months made it to the top 10 cryptocurrencies list in terms of Market cap value. Cardano has seen spectacular growth since its launch 8 months ago and is tipped to be the next addition to Coinbase. Industry experts anticipate further growth throughout 2018. Cardano offers excellent security and has a highly competent team.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is neo good choice for long-term investment ? on: May 06, 2018, 02:45:37 PM
I have also invested some money in NEO, its developers are wrokign very hard. Neo's creators have also made sure that the platform is attractive to developers by offering multiple programming and support options including (amongst others) Java, VN.NET, Kotlin and Python. By providing developers with options and a variety of different compilers and plug-ins Neo is positioning itself as both adaptable and flexible for developers to work with.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most profitable altcoin to invest on: May 06, 2018, 02:43:37 PM
You can consider investing in NEO. This new kid on the blockchain uses a second generation platform. Neo is a Chinese cryptocurrency that after a rocky start has been rebranded and is now associated with the Chinese government. Neo is faster than Bitcoin and Ethereum and can handle a staggering 10,000 transactions per second.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is your Top 10 coin? on: May 06, 2018, 02:42:39 PM
You can see top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. I have invested in alt coins like Ripple, ETH, Cardano and Tron. I am most hopeful with ripple as it got a  number of unique features. The lower transaction costs and speed makes Ripple a very attractive prospect for huge financial institutions, many of which are adopting Ripple's technology. American Express, JP Morgan and Santander are already on board, and the company also has links with financial giants in Saudi Arabia and China.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: May 06, 2018, 02:39:26 PM
Ether guys, here it will just blow up the market this year, you'll see, look how it's grown just before our eyes!

Blockchain expert Dr Julian Hosp has predicted that if enough ICO's adopt Ethereum's platform, the market cap could reach $200 billion by the end of this year. Based on Hosp's prediction, the price of Ethereum would rise to $2000.
1188  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I’m planning to invest some btc in profitcoins. should I do it? on: May 05, 2018, 03:08:23 PM
Just do the arbitrage yourself, it takes more time but the profits are higher and you don’t have to pay 25% fees like for profitcoins.

If you want to do this yourself without any experience you can also just throw your trezor (or ledger or whatever you’re using) out of the window and burn your mnemonic sheet. Smiley
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: May 05, 2018, 02:57:34 PM
No one wants to be in the position of struggling to make payments on debt, but the reality is that it happens, as soon as you face up to the situation, paying off your debts maybe simpler than you realize, we should discover the extent of our financial problems ,finding ways and seeking advice,"paying it little by little.,"discipline ourselves to avoid debts",.

Some people are satisfied by paying the minimum due amount on each debt every month. Now this practice has a big disadvantage that you need to pay interest for longer duration. A better approach is to pay the debts as soon as possible. You can make use of some portion of the emergency funds so as to pay back the entire debt amount.
1190  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: May 05, 2018, 02:34:15 PM
If I am rich, I will be responsible to society, I will pay the full tax to the government and I will also do charity work to help the poor and I will also guide them how to make money.

I strongly believe that if you have more than enough, than only you can think about sharing with others. If a person is himself struggling hard to arrange food for himslef or to arrrange money to pay bills, he will never think about charity.

This is clearly reflected in the behavior of billionaires like Bill gates, . most of them give all their wealth in charity.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: May 05, 2018, 02:30:06 PM
Yes, now the alt coins have started to move up and this is good time to invest some money. However, you need to have patience as I believe we will see corrections multiple times in coming future. This is because a  lot of people will be selling their holdings as they have brought when prices were on peak few months before.
1192  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Advertising on: April 30, 2018, 04:16:39 PM
Hello, I'm the project manager of the multicurrency cryptowallet. And we would like to buy from you an advertising space in the signature, so that you place it in our banner with a link to our project. We can pay for this 100$ / month.

We need to active users in this forum (activity 800+). If you interested - write to pm.

This is not the correct section to post this. My advise is to postpone your campaign and first spend some days on the forum learning the rules here. This will help both your project and the participants who are going to participate in your campaign.
1193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: April 30, 2018, 04:09:44 PM
Good afternoon. I would like to hear your opinion. I've been reading the forum sufficiently long, but I rarely write. I had one question. Why is the forum divided into 2 teams that angry with one another? The first support bitcoin and hate all altcoins. All of this for them is only garbage. Others like altcoins and do not understand what the problem have first.
I have a question for the first camp. Why?
Take for example Zilliqa, Tomocoin, NEO, DragonChain, etc. People who bought them in large quantities became richer. Why do you think this is garbage?
Bitcoin is a legend, but some altcoins are worth paying attention to, aren't they?

I think the majority will be in the team supporting bitcoins and hating alt coins. We should respect bitcoins because it started the crypto revolution. Other coins would not have existed if there was no bitcoins. However, if we see as an investor, we need to be flexible. The primary focus should be on returns irrespective of the coin we are investing in.
1194  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin plays a vital role in the economy on: April 30, 2018, 04:07:29 PM
Bitcoin opens many doors of new markets, which would affect the economy of a country, the reason why there are some countries who don't like bitcoin because cryptocurrency controlled by no one and because they don't get taxes. But if governments open there eyes and use bitcoin in its positive ways as possible you would be shocked that the third world countries who opens their gates on bitcoin will become one of the best countries we have ever seen.

Bitcoin is the first decentralized digital currency which came into existence in the year 2009. In simple terms, it refers to coins that can be sent online. It was invented by an online alias Satoshi Nakamato. I think that developing economies can benefit the most from bitcoins. Their policies should encourage the use of bitcoins.
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: April 30, 2018, 04:04:48 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

This will have to change if bitcoin has to survive in the long term. It was designed to be a payment system only but everything changed as people started to make money by investing in them. This has made prices volatile making it ineffective as payment medium. So the greed has to end if we want to see it competing with options like PayPal.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 30, 2018, 03:59:08 PM
I also compare gambling with alcohol and drugs addictions. When you cannot leave anything easily it means that you are addicted of that thing. As I am smoker and I cannot leave smoking, it means that I am addicted of smoking. The same is wig gamblers. They are addicted of gambling and as it is a worst thing the society think gambling addictor bad people.

Interestingly, there are medications to cure gambling addiction as well. There are certain medications that can benefit these individuals. Generally, the prescribed medications belong to the class of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. But, you must take professional advice before taking these as the dose may differ depending on your current situation.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: April 30, 2018, 03:58:06 PM
A very bad type of entertainment I think, and I'm confuse how others sees it as an entertainment if they are losing their money, I'm not like that. I'm earning my money through hard work and I'm not going to spend it on gambling just to have some kind of entertainment, I'm wiser than that.

You are wise but most of the youth gets trapped as there are so many options. There are more than 5000 gambling websites today and people all over the world join these websites to gamble in the hope of making huge money.

I do not think there is any harm with this, provided you know your limits. But when you get addicted to online gambling, it can result in serious consequences.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: April 30, 2018, 03:56:11 PM
No, I do not agree with you. People do not stop gambling in these two situations especially when they make some money. The greed of winning money will never come to an end the winners will try again to win more. I think that addicted gamblers will stop gambling when he has nothing left for gambling or when he dies. These are the two situations for stopping gambling.

If the person who is addicted , shows some effort and engages in alternative activities, the problem can be solved. For instance, there are multiplayer games online where you can compete with other individuals. These games are entertaining and free to join. On some websites, you might be rewarded based on your performance in these games.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: April 30, 2018, 03:53:28 PM
I am looking a good casino website, if I find any then I would definitely try it.

Do proper research before choosing one. There are a number of rouge casinos operating online. These are casinos were games are manipulated and thus they cheat the users and steal all their money. In the beginning, they will let you win some money and when you try with larger amounts, you will lose. Once you deposit the money in such a casino, it is gone forever. They will make excuse at the time of withdrawal.

If nothing helps, you can take professional help. There is also a group therapy program where counselors help these people with their doubts and queries. They are also made to talk with other gambling addicts who have successfully come out of the addiction. You should choose a reputed service for this purpose even if it costs a little extra.
