Converge FiberXers established some good records in their previous game against the Phoenix FuelMasters.

The first one, Converge and Phoenix on that game, records the most scored by two opposing teams in halftime alone so far in the season. The score at half-time is 74-73 Phoenix. That was a crazy shootout between these two teams.

In the second one, Converge established a new franchise record of 22 three-pointers in a game. Just 2 three-pointers shy to break the record of 23 by TNT and San Miguel Beermen.

Converge continues its hot streak. They are now on a 6-game winning streak.

1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 10, 2022, 10:43:36 PM

I was surprised by the odds given to Portland Trail Blazers as an underdog against the New Orleans Pelicans just because Damian Lillard is out. It's a whopping @4 ML odds and the Pelicans @ 1.26. I understand that the Pelicans will be the Favorites but just can't imagine the distance of the odds as Blazers are currently on a hot start this season.

Fans will miss the supposed face-off between Damian Lillard and his former Blazers duo for long, CJ McCollum on their tonight's matchup.

Pelicans -8.5 @ 1.85 should be a good pick. The handicap -6.5 @ 1.57 for them seems not a worthy pick for me.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 10, 2022, 10:25:16 PM
When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.

If a person feels depressed every time they lose, that's alarming and they really need some big help. Depressed is not a joke or maybe you just used the wrong term there, am I right? Instead, maybe we can use the word "stress" although still considered an alarming emotion, somehow it can be managed.

Emotions are always triggered while gambling. It's impossible to take away that emotion as it was human nature.

There's no need to stop gambling but rather take those emotions responsibly.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 09, 2022, 11:54:04 PM
Simple solution. Use adblockers. Visit sites that are non gambling related. You don't have to stay away from the computer.

And as far as I know, those spam gambling ads that consume space noticeably on a certain website are not that site that a user can encounter every day. Usually, those gambling ads can just be seen on gambling-related websites and I think a person that trying to recover from gambling addiction will not think of visiting those sites.

Even social media that has lots of gambling-related posts, doesn't have an annoying gambling ad that popped out everywhere, and sometimes those ads are not even noticeable. We just have to trust these persons who deal with gambling problems that soon, they can cope with their problems.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: November 09, 2022, 11:48:55 PM
But do you know that the bear market is a blessing in disguise for every investors that is prepared and has been waiting for the dump ? So many tokens are going to touch lower lows, and if you are prepared, you can key into this tokens and more than double your money when the bull run is here. The dump is your friend, and is a blessing if you are always ready and prepared for it.

The bear market is really the best opportunity we have to acquire and accumulate more coins at its considered cheap price. Especially for those who will just make a new entry, that makes sense to spend everything they have as much as possible to take advantage of the trend.

Unfortunately, there are people who already did some mass buying prior to the bear market that's why they considered this trend as the worst situation they need to deal with. No choice but to just see their portfolio losing value and try their best not to sell it to minimize the losses.
1187  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta fires 11k employees - Effect of economy or being bullish about metaverse? on: November 09, 2022, 11:44:58 PM
2. Meta had invested heavily on Metaverse which failed to find users or ways to earn revenue. Now the investment is lost and putting huge financial pressure on Meta.

Which one you think might be the actual reason? Don't you think Mark had gambled quite heavily in an uncharted territory and put the existence into huge risk?

I think we just need to rely on what Mark said about the reason and that's it:

"to reduce costs following disappointing earnings and a drop in revenue"

I don't think that Mark did some gambling here. It's just that their Metaverse-related investment might need a longer timeframe before it can actually reach its peak. However, it will take a continuous heavy cost during the process, and reducing the company's expenses might be the best way to deal with it.

Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program

There's no such thing as that. Just use your common sense on how is that even possible in the first place.

Used your knowledge and time instead to learn more important things to earn money in a nice way and not via this overnight profit scheme.

Don't even get hooked even if you saw an HYIP or the same scheme giving profit to their users as it will be turned into a scam 100% later on.
1189  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: November 09, 2022, 11:34:05 PM
What extra do you expect from a (somewhat established) crypto casino? A few aspects we can think of include:
- More crypto original games. Minesweeper and plinko, so we've heard, are getting trendy. Any more thoughts and would these interest you?
- More cryptos accepted as payment options. We currently support BTC, ETH, EOS, USDT and USDC. More has been requested - but will it make depositing easier for you? And which cryptos should we add, in your opinion?
- Additional features for our chat room?
And feel free to tell us anything else you really want!

Just push those aspects that the team thinks of and see the result for yourselves.

I believed being in the crypto-gambling industry for a long, you should already know what gamblers prefer, at least.

As long as you keep the service healthy and fair as the priority, that's what matters.

1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 08, 2022, 10:26:41 PM
Dont let your emotions do make more mess up because instead on getting some revenge, you might rather end up on deep debt which is something that most people fear the most.
If you do tolerate your emotion then you would be simply be making more mess or problems ahead which you should really make yourself been avoiding on the first place.

I think none of this useful advice will make OP change his mindset. Based on his approach to gambling, it seems that he already created and form a mindset that he has the ability to always win in gambling because of his winning experience.

Maybe we just have to allow the OP to do what he wants since, in fact, he really stands on his crappy beliefs.

Let him taste his own medicine. Good luck to the OP on his revenge mission.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: November 08, 2022, 10:16:35 PM
Cyprus... Because can anybody or O.P elaborate more on this.. Or does Cyprus has a part where gambling is legal and some parts where gambling is illegal?

If you will take a look at the details on Cyprus in that article, they do actually allow gambling and I can even say that they are a gambling-friendly country. However, like in any other country, there are prohibited forms of gambling and aren't allowed to operate as far as their current gambling regulations are concerned.

To summarize these, all physical casinos are allowed there as long as they are regulated and as far as online gambling is concerned, the only allowed online gambling is sports-betting therefore, obviously, no online casino sites are allowed to operate in their jurisdiction.

Maybe subject to change though in the future.
1192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 08, 2022, 10:08:24 PM
Losing money on investing is a frightening proposition. However, you can protect your money and reduce stress in a falling market by avoiding five common pitfalls made by crypto investors.

Panic
Putting in Emotional Efforts
Investing short-term
Overtrading
Mental Health

That's why it becomes "common" because those are something tough to deal with.

If that's how easy to deal with the bear market, then why still make a strategy during that trend?

It's better to absorb that mental-related stuff since that will fuel more of our experience to become used to dealing with a bear trend. Without the experience of being in an actual loss, stress, panic, FOMO, being weak hands, a trader can't be an improved trader in the future.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100X Altcoin Projects on: November 08, 2022, 10:03:05 PM
What do you think about the portfolio I believe it will make at least 100X in the bull run. They aren't shitcoins or tokens instead; they are doing fantastic work to bring the masses to the blockchain.

Good development is really a must but to expect them to make a 100X in the bull run seems not an appropriate mindset you should have. These projects might give you a good return but you should at least lower your expectations as unfortunately, even with how good the project is, there are other factors to consider for them to achieve that 100x increase.

The fact that you were able to end up with that list with your own DYOR, I think you already know how to do some good projects based on your own view, at least. You won't put some trust in these projects in the first place if you didn't see something special about them but always remember that don't allow yourself to be looped in hype or shillers, if there's any.

Good luck is the best advice I can say.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 08, 2022, 09:53:24 PM
Ah, so it's only fictional? I really thought that it was real but I think the same scenario can happen for real especially if you are a kind of friend which is scared. There's always one friend who are like that where they will discourage their other friends to do risky things.

Those people defy the rules of roulette because that's for comedy purposes.

In most cases, the chosen numbers are locked once the spin is now in motion. Even if there's a forced attempt to move those chips, either just honors the first pick or the bet of that specific gambler on that round will be totally voided.

Maybe we can discuss another gambling-movie-related scene that can somehow happen in actual for real.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 08, 2022, 09:46:45 PM
Jazz definitely is a big surprise this season, I can't believe what they have achieved so far, this only means that they are here to compete to the playoffs. With their performance so far, I would not be surprise if they will rank at least in top 4 when the season's end.

Actually, the plan is just to go with the flow, unleash what they're best, and show everything in every game.

This season is the 1st phase of their rebuilding and if ever things went horribly, that would just be fine as the goal is to the tank to somehow have a chance to get worthy 1st round picks on the lottery draft.

But since they are currently looking good, the goal was now changed to, "forget about tanking and go compete at the top."

JC will probably have his first all star appearance, good for him if that would happen.

If Utah Jazz will continue to show dominance prior to All-Star games, they can attract the fans to vote on their players.

Aside from that, the NBA All-Star 2023 will be hosted by the Utah Jazz.

For sure, there will be a big attempt by their fans to vote for some of their key players as their representatives in the NBA All-Star this season.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 08, 2022, 09:29:31 PM
I talk on live roullete in physical casino can it be rigged?

Be it rigged or not, there's no way to tell it honestly. To minimize the risk though, expect that these casinos won't ruin their reputation because of the rigged game possibilities. However, you have to accept that the house was designed in favor of the casinos that's why you are "gambling" against them.

It doesn't mean that you are losing, the casino is cheating on you right away. That's not gambling anymore if there's a 100% win rate. There's no special gambler there that can always turn the table upside down.

Why not the casino just give free money to all if there's no such thing as gambling there?
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 08, 2022, 09:22:41 PM
Is this the biggest odds gap for a boxing unification? 1.02 is way too low. But maybe rich bettors will still take advantage of this by risking huge amounts of money. A million-dollar bet on Inoue gives $20,000 which is like free money.

I can't imagine how much guts we need to risk that million dollars for a $20,000 return even though Inoue has a 99.9% chance to win. Well then, since we are not a multi-millionaire, we are questioning that guts but maybe these people on that tier can manage the risks.

However, bookies already know that kind of system and surely, a million-dollar single bet on a sure favorite might not be possible because of the bet limits especially if we refer to crypto-bookies. Don't know though how it works on fiat bookies.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lottery's defense to not paying a huge winning. on: November 08, 2022, 09:18:53 PM
People's trust in the lottery will be diminished they already have two cases based on the article, the lottery company should have a good case because if the complainant won the case that will tarnish the image of the lottery company, gambling like a lottery depends on people's trust they should prove that they have the right decision not to pay cheaters they send a strong signal that they cannot be bribe by cheaters but they must also prove that they are a legit lottery company and will pay real winners even if it involves a huge amount of money.

Not taking my side on the lottery but we should also have to take note that while they have two same related cases before, they also granted several big winnings without a problem too which is might even way higher than the amount mentioned on this topic.

That's why I also mentioned that we are just giving our thoughts based on what is written in the article without knowing the actual happening in their trial e.g how the lottery provides their proof that the man is doing irregularities, how the man defends himself and everything along those lines.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 07, 2022, 11:33:26 PM
And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?

I can say that I'm addicted to gambling but still responsible for things outside my gambling habit.

Depending on the level of addiction, I think that ads are really not something alarming or a big deal even a person that is recovering from gambling will encounter those ads. Besides, it's impossible that the majority of the sites that a person is browsing the net have gambling ads.

It's, even more, better for me to see that a person can see those ads as part of the challenge to counter their gambling temptations.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 07, 2022, 11:29:51 PM
It will not jeopardize your waiting if you name the casino, it's normal for a very huge amount for verification as long as you are clean and you think you don't break any rules and the casino is reputable everything is good you'll get your money, I will also get worried that is a life-changing amount, but that's the process when it involves a huge amount of money, yours is not an isolated case, if you have not done a KYC, then get your documents ready, they might ask it.

OP mentioned the name of the casino and I can say that the gambling platform is not popular here.

Regardless of how OP found the site, he mentioned that he was able to claim his big winnings smoothly before with no problem that's why he is concerned now about his pending withdrawal status for a long.

Since OP was asked to proceed with verification, then no choice but to comply with it if he really wants to pursue getting that amount.
