121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Profits from gambling with crypto (UK tax question) on: April 14, 2022, 02:48:50 PM
UK doesn't tax income from online gambling if I am not mistaken but that probably applies only to UK regulated casinos so you'll have to ask your tax man for clarity on that. Providing proof of the source looks like a pain now that they've banned you. I don't know if it will work but have you contacted these platforms to at least give a letter that the sending address belongs to them?

If the platforms are good enough to give you of their time giving you records however it won't be that easy. One reason is that the accounts had already deleted and no records that can prove that he really played on their casino. It is the best solution to throw whatever reason he got and show his blockchain records.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will switch to PoS in Q3 2022 on: April 14, 2022, 01:08:28 PM
Ethereum may switch to PoS as early as Q3 this year. The source of this assertion is a post by an Ethereum developer on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/TimBeiko/status/1514010098145759232

Quote
It won't be June, but likely in the few months after. No firm date yet, but we're definitely in the final chapter of PoW on Ethereum

I wonder if this prediction will turn out to be correct or if there will be new difficulties and PoS will be postponed again. This time, though, the developers are determined, Tim Beiko even recommends not investing in new ETH mining equipment anytime soon. Will PoS be launched this year after all?

Too bad it will come to an end (eth mining), I have been fond of mining eth since 2017 and aside from getting profits it has been my hobby for the rest of these years. I guess it is time to say goodbye to my cards, what ever the decisions maybe, we should respect those and accept it fully.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Is crypto the final stage in the evolution of money? on: April 14, 2022, 06:15:30 AM
I don't know if perhaps i'm overthinking this, but considering the evolution of money from the beginning of time where different things have served as a medium of exchange and now currently banknotes.

On same trend, we are slowly witnessing the evolution of  money to crypto and i can't help but wonder if crypto is the final stage or there may perhaps be another revolutionary idea to replace crypto as money after crypto has been accepted.

What do you think?

Brilliant minds are out there, time will tell if there will be another innovation that would surpass crpyto currencies. However this is too early, there are rooms for improvements as of now. Monetary system right now have survived for thousands of years, and we are nowhere near from that. I guess we won't be able to see it for ourselves, 60 years and above we are gone in this world, so let the next generation decide if they will still be using crypto or make a new one.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Im ready to adond all banks and my friends also dont need banks anymore on: April 13, 2022, 09:32:57 PM
To be honest all i need is just cash machine ATM and card to use on store.
As all my money and many people money in on crypto exchangers they feel more secure and even much better liquity then regulars banks.
We dont need old banking system my crypto exchanger is my bank i dont need regular banks anymore what we need is to directly connect cash machines ATM s with crypto so its cobvient to use cash.
Yesterday my bank told me men you need to update some information i said cmon...i dont need even bank all i need is just cash and to keep my wealth safe stable coins so i saidi dont have to do nothing nowdays who needs bank ?

Lets be we are ready to adond all banks i dont care if they close down all banks same day and they are slow to use it for example i want to semd money to china to usa or russia to usa or uk to canada...its a pain whole process but USDT tron stable coin its instant i pay only 1$ and its fast and anonoynmous.

So im ready i dont need nobdy dont even business can start use stable coins its time old way not work and banks are old the banking system now days is like windows 90

You are quite a rebellious person, I bet you have grief over your government and want to abandon your currency that badly. We still need our banks as of now, you cannot pay small time merchants with crypto anytime and anywhere. If you are living in a 3rd world country then you will be having a hard time buying you daily needs or living a simple life if you only have crypto and no cash at all.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best mining build, I think on: April 13, 2022, 08:14:31 PM
With just 10 pieces of 3090s you are already at 1GH on the Ethash algorithm, why aren't people doing this instead of having so many GPUs around, taking so much space and having to use more risers and more motherboard, why are people not going this way?.

One reason is they are starting with enough money to build a rig smaller than what you recommend. I too started from a single GPU back then until it became 5 of them. Another reason is the supply, there are scalpers around in every corner of the earth, new stocks are always sold out or if available it is higher than MSRP. There are lots of reasons that you cannot do what wanna do, unless you buy it from scalpers in order to build your dream rig, or buy it used and feel it's remorse later on.
126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watching Our Kids From Something That Could Dangerous To Them on: April 13, 2022, 05:06:53 PM
Some time ago I visited my friend's house. We talked about many things because we had not seen each other for a long time. Besides us telling stories, he accompanied his son, who was already a teenager. His son is playing games on his cell phone and I got a glimpse of what games he played and he seems to be playing games he shouldn't be playing.

Then I asked my best friend how she watched her grown children. He replied that his children were able to choose what was good and bad for them and he just needed to say that playing games are okay as long as he doesn't lose track of time.

Then I asked again if the kids installed games they weren't supposed to play (but I didn't say the kids were playing those games). She replied that she sometimes checks her children's cell phones and asks what they are playing and that a parent should ask their child.

From here, I then asked myself, is that what we should do for our children, giving them the freedom to install whatever they want. Then there is another thing that sticks in my mind: if they want to buy something in the game because this type of game allows players to get rare items at low prices. They can ask for the money from their parents to buy that item.

Then, I also thought if this could cause symptoms of addiction to continue playing the game and later it could be accidentally, they see adult content such as pornography or gambling or others easily. The role of parents who give freedom to their children in using cellphones does not seem to be felt by those who are starting to grow up. I see that a teenager has started to be equipped with a smartphone.

What do you think about the situation above? Do you have any such situations like me before?

This is something to take it seriously, growing children are curious and all. We should be aware of what they are searching online, as much as possible you could put boundaries for them not to go out of control. I let my 2 year old watch on Youtube kids however it has parental controls. I blocked what seems to be influencing my kid bad attitude such as pushing other kids, shouting to parents and the likes. You just have to put barrier with this kind of contents, as later on you will be having problems with that. Same in letting them play, you should check what they are playing, is good or bad at the point they say mean words. It is our duty to protect them, as they are still fragile and prone to bad things in the society. Also if you need to punish them do it without harming them, like conditioning them not to give them what they like in order for them to be disciplined.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency Mining Profit Calculator | ShyMiner.com on: April 13, 2022, 02:34:28 PM
Hello,

Today, there is probably no person in the cryptocommunity who would not be interested in such questions as: How much I will earn by mining cryptocurrency? Which cryptocurrency is most profitable to mine? Currently, there is no good service that can provide answers to these questions. All existing services have primitive logic and cannot give reliable information.

We gathered a team of professional developers, crypto-geeks who live cryptocurrency and developed a new service, which has no analogues (in terms of accuracy of values).

ShyMiner.com will help you choose which coin to mine on your equipment (be it a video card or an ASIC) and calculate your estimated income from mining. Our service features the most popular coins and we are constantly updating our database.

We would like to receive feedback.

Best regards from ShyMiner.com team.

I am using whattomine since day one the time I started mining with video cards, and it just gives me what I need to know and calculate hashes and electricity consumption. What good does your site offer, better than what I am using?
128  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive income : Bank interest vs staking on: April 13, 2022, 01:00:12 PM
Staking involves MUCH MORE risk! These are really two entirely different things.

I guess you are right, however there are also disadvantages in bank savings, I do use banks in everyday life because online payments for our business gets through them. I do also stake in Defi Binance with 90 days maturity. It is in the person where he wants to put his money, and I prefer both of them. Investing in different fields is a good decision where in if the other fails, you still another to support and back you up.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Babylonia Always More Fun on: April 12, 2022, 08:35:06 PM
I don't know if you are the first to this but it is a great Idea to insert NFT in the Casino, it is an innovative way. While players are gambling on the site, they can earn free NFT's right? When will be the alpha released?
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: April 12, 2022, 03:40:09 PM
Take advantage of the moment, the price of crypto if permanent will not be as popular as now. Not only that even the stock market or other is also not permanent, and nothing is permanent in this world. Both sides are mutually beneficial but sometimes a prolonged bear market makes us hold for a long terms.

I hold the other way around, a prolong bullish market doesn't affect me and encourage me to sell. We have different opinions and I can hold as much as could with a minimum of 2 years. So it doesn't really affect me whether it is a bear or bullish market. Maybe because in the situation where I am in that point, I have money to buy and hold, or I don't have cash and sell in times of need. It isn't wise but I careless much of the losses when I am in a dire situation.
131  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: April 12, 2022, 02:14:14 PM
To what extent is the online  slot game machine RTP reliable based on it's technology?

As words in the street has it that it has gained so much popularity than other casino games due to it's simplicity nature.

Let's discuss, what's your view.

I think it is not like the movies that we see where there is a control room for monitoring, controlling winners, in short Casino are full of mobsters you robs your money secretly. The Casinos in real life wouldn't do things to harm their customers, and make sure that they get full support and reliable in any ways. Now all we have to do is just trust in them if we are playing in their Casino, or you could just simply stop gambling if you have trust issues.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: April 12, 2022, 09:37:51 AM
I don't think the hype is over. But I think it would continue but this time, at a slower and steady rate than before. And as mainstream adoption continues, it would pump

Or the opposite could happen where mass selling of NFT on lower prices will happen this coming weeks. Maybe people see that NFT's aren't good investments after all. I would rather convert those to Bitcoin as soon as possible if things go vague.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another day, Another Lesson for those who want to learn on: April 12, 2022, 04:37:11 AM
I experienced it also, but with another token. The method is also different from what I have encountered. At first I was excited to received free tokens worth 1k USD but then when I searched thoroughly I found out in order for you to withdraw those coins you have to trade on their exchange, for which you will be getting points in able for you to convert that coins you received. At that moment I knew something was off and just leave it on my wallet, another month had passed, the coin wasn't any value at all. If I had trade in their exchange I would've used a total of 20k USD, see what they are trying to do? Steal from you slowly and the mean thing is only that coin  is allowable for you to trade in order for you to acquire that points which you can use to withdraw those free tokens. It just means that you have to acquire more of those to get them, what a scheme they have, so be careful of that tokens that they sent you.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I quickly research on any crypto before investment. on: April 11, 2022, 09:18:38 PM
There are thousands and thousands of different crypto projects ,So there are a lot of things to consider before investing on any cryptocurrency, Whether you're a short term or long term trader. I usually start up with the coinmarket cal. that is coinmarket calendar to check for up coming events though some might be real some might be fake. Besically for me I like investing at things that continuesly creat value and that's something you should look for, so when looking at the project I try to look out for projects by asking yourself and doing research base on these.

Part 1
why I'm I investing in ?,
what's the value of these project?
Will there be a long term growth?
What's is the team behind it ?, has that team delivered on anything?, Can these team actually do it.
What's the road map like ?
Does it have problem to solve?
How the community looks like?
Example I check if they have verified Twitter account, I check out for the number of followers on Twitter, telegram, Facebook etc

part 2
This is where I check out on the exchange they are trading on , are they trading on tier 1 ,2 or ,3  crypto  exchanges?, If trading on an exchange like Binance, kucoin that one will give me more confidence.
Another thing I look out for is the contract address to check number of holders and percentage they're holding if they're holding pretty significant amount without huge percentage difference.
is the token locked ?,(15%-50% )
How many percentage is Burn ?,(up to 50%) is good for me.
what percentage of the token is in Dev address?, (1% - 10%).
Finally I look at the market and how it has been trading by taking an overview look at the chart. All these are what I do before I deep dive into any project.

Good thing I have relying friends and colleagues that keeps me even though I am not worth anything to them. Regarding investing in new projects aside from Bitcoin and other alts that are somehow stable, I look onto my friends choice. I let them be the captain of the ship and if they lose, I lose too. It doesn't matter to me trusting them with this and I am very pretty much sure about their capabilities. As I look at your lists right now,  am starting to understand that it is a hard work for them and I think I wouldn't be able to manage it all by myself. Furthermore I am very much thankful because they have helped me with what and where I am right now, and I will still be needing their help, and off course I am offering my helped too when they are in need but it some other cases. It is really hard to chose crypto projects and if you are a newbie in the field and your all by yourself, you would just be a food for the pack of wolves so better you have companions to help you out.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Desktop wallet vs Mobile wallet on: April 10, 2022, 07:36:37 PM
Between mobile and a desktop wallet which one do you prefer the most and why? Again I think desktop wallets have more open source wallets than mobile, which desktop wallet is the best open-source wallet that you know of?

I use the both of them. Mobile wallet is portable and you can carry it anywhere unlike desktop wallet. If you the kind of guy who currently checks his portfolio then mobile wallet is suited for you. I use the desktop one because some features isn't found in mobile wallets, aside from that the screen is bigger. I have metamask, crypto.com, trustwallet in me and I am also using some 4 different exchanges with small amounts of coins.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economy is not good for either super rich or very rich on: April 09, 2022, 09:21:18 PM
If I am rich then why do I care about the economy is bad or not! I absolutely don't care and if I already have wealth then I can make more wealth through smart investment. In a bad economic condition poor and middle class people need money for food and run business. I can give them money as a loan and charge interest. There are many other ways too.

Actually in capitalism rich become richer no matter what the economic condition is.

It matters to me when I am rich and while the economy is in bad shape. Remember the poor are the workers, they are many than the rich people. If they won't work who will? It is a balance, the rich must support the poor and help them out even a little. If poverty is getting worst in the country, all of the people will suffer including the rich. Maybe not in financial matters but, crime rates will increase, illicit activities, riots and rallies. The people will oppose somewhere and I won't be relaxing at those times as it will also affect my daily living, with danger in the society. Well the case is different when you are a foreigner from a rich country, which you could go home anytime you like if things gets worst in a place where you are doing business. We just need to be human in times of hardship, we are dependent on each other in some ways.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: April 09, 2022, 07:19:48 PM
If crypto becomes extremely popular in the future (widely adopted by a vast majority of people worldwide), it's probable governments will turn against it. They can pressure centralized exchanges to close up shop or face serious consequences in the long run. After all, these exchanges are the on and off ramps from the crypto world to the Fiat world. While not every country is against crypto, they might change their stance once they see Russia using it as a means to avoid sanctions.

Imagine if most countries unilaterally agree on banning centralized exchanges for good. Will that mean the end of crypto for good (even though it would still be possible to get some crypto through decentralized exchanges)? After all, most people will be afraid of using crypto if it's declared "illegal". The ban of centralized exchanges will surely topple crypto prices, signaling fear among investors and traders alike.

What are your thoughts? Huh

We are going forward and not backwards here, leading countries in economy are now seeing blockchain as the future of money, more transparent than any other means. It would still be intact even if all the countries banned it, some people won't let it go. Crypto currencies are our future and even without those centralized exchange we will manage to move on a decentralized one. Way back it was just etherdelta, fork delta, etc, and it was okay like that and I am not telling centralized is not giving any advantage in the markets but we are fine without them.
138  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 09, 2022, 05:53:16 PM
They will face consequences if they do not abide the law, that is why they follow it. Under 18 children knows things that sometimes even adults doesn't like bypassing such limits on them. A 17 year old is still under 18 and I am sure there are those teens who are knowledgeable enough to overcome this if they were into gambling badly. The Initiative of BGC is good but with flaws in it, I guess they should be more stricter than that and push it even further.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: April 08, 2022, 09:08:14 PM
I have 2 BNB, what is a good project to invest in? Something with utility, no shit coins

Bnb is also a good choice, if you stake it on Binance exchange it would give you nice profits, though  I would recommend on Defi staking as it offers 15 percent or less. However it is a centralized coin and if you are looking for a stable and decentralized one then the best for the job is BTC, you don't have to do anything aside from waiting.
140  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: April 08, 2022, 07:26:27 PM
I was thinking that "Casino" is gambling game played by players in this forum. Because I am seen the name everyday, so today I decided to find out how the game is all about.
When I googled the name, then I discovered that it is an establishment for different types of games. Such as: Dice, crabs, black jack keno etc. That is, it is a facility or a platform for gambling. Simply means. It is a building for games. https://www.quora.com/What-is-a-casino

And also. Most terms use in the gambling platform confused me so to contribute and comment is not easy. But I know for sure that it is for the mean time, I will get all for the free flow communication. But if there is any board that I can learn those terms. Please forward the links for easy and faster learning of the terms.

Or you could have tried it for your self to and learn it along the way, it is more fun that way and surely you will learn, asking questions to players logged in. There is a chat box for almost all Casino that are existing, meet them and they are the best teacher for newbies like you.
