Not every news about cryptocurrency published by mainstream media are negative. They also do informative piece such as this one https://twitter.com/YahooFinance/status/965220728755847168 The bigger issue here are the opinionated and self-proclaimed "crypto experts" hired or invited by mainstream media for interviews. They love publishing statements of guys like Peter who knows little about bitcoin. 2. Mainstream media love negative news, they know that they generate much more clicks than positive news.
Not exactly. It's the people who are consciously or subconsciously hooked to these negative news. The mainstream media knows it and they will keep feeding them those types of news.

This is the first time I'm learning about this bitcoin wallet for the blind. I haven't thought that someone would actually develop it. Looking at their website https://icywallet.com, the last project update was September of 2019. I'm not sure but the developer could be working on another project at the moment. It would be cool if this gets more funding to fast track its development. The IcyWallet software is designed to run on a Raspberry Pi, specifically one that will never be connected to the internet (a so-called air gapped device). In theory you could run the software on anything, but everything has been designed with the Pi in mind. IcyWallet will securely generate private keys and store them on the device, and issue a mnemonic seed for safe and convenient backup.

I'm not jealous of not being accepted, I just posted this because, it's a very unfair situation and a not professional act by a Campaign manager.
You posted this because you were rejected and found a hole in the campaign manager's selection process. You were also quick to call the participants that were listed in the OP as shitposters and clowns. You guys saying that it's fair because, it's normal user VS campaign manager. But if someone famous user pointed this is out you will be in favor on them. If the one accusing a campaign manager is a known person here in the forum, I don't think s/he would be in a rush to post something based on opinions like you did. I think it's clearly his alts. You could have waited for him to respond in the post you quoted before creating this topic.
Selecting applicants from tens or hundreds of applicants can be overwhelming for the manager and he may commit mistakes in the process. I was able to participate in one of his campaigns. Although there were issues with the payment for reasons I think is out of his control, he still managed to pay all the participants. From that experience, I can say he's a good campaign manager.

Is this from NBS? I am not into books and rarely visit the books section of that store (NBS). I was wondering if they were accidentally put in there by another passing customer but seeing there are more than one Blockchain Revolution book in the shelf made me realize that it's for real. Did you happen to ask from their customer service how many books were already sold?

Is there a way to export or see the private keys (or the seeds) using this ABRA wallet? I've never tried it. Before you can use the wallet, you will be prompted to save your seed or recovery phrase. Quoting from https://www.abra.com/blog/abra-recovery-phrase/Step 1. Show your recovery phrase
There are several opportunities to have the app show you your recovery phrase, including when you first install the app, when you are reminded to verify your recovery phrase, and when you press the “Backup” button in the main menu of the app.
When you select the option to show your recovery phrase, you will be shown a screen with thirteen words to copy. These thirteen words are your recovery phrase. The recovery phrase is unique to your phone – no one else has a copy. Post editI guess this is what you are really looking for Quoting from https://support.abra.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003160508-Where-can-I-find-my-recovery-phrase-Instructions for backing up your Abra wallet: - Open your Abra app, to the main screen (now your portfolio view)
- Tap: the icon in the upper left corner to go to the menu screen
- Tap: 'Wallet Security'
- Tap: 'View recovery phrase'
- Write down your unique backup phrase and keep it in a safe place, such as where you would store other valuable documents and cash savings.
- Tap: 'Yes, I wrote it down'
- Write down the previous 13 random words from the previous step
- Tap: 'Confirm Phrase'
If you've made a typo, a red alert box will show on the app prompting you to check the phrase and try again. If successful, you will see the next screen with a 'You are all set!' message.

Many topics related to earning merits in the past got a lot of it. I cannot blame the OP for trying to do the same Sadly for him, many users seems to be fed up reading the same topics. But my fear is this, what's the penalty for cleaning up this bounty report, I hope my account won't be banned as a result of this...
There is no penalty really. Posts are simply part of a user's activity. Thus, if you remove your posts, your activity count will be reduced also. For higher rank users, that would lead to a lowering in rank. Since your account is still a newbie, you shouldn't be worrying about that. I don't see any point in hiding your post history now. It's up to you if you still want to remove them but, if I were you, I would focus on posting more good stuff instead.

Is that really yours? Regardless, thanks for the laughs! It's the best post on crypto twitter yet Stupid wallet forgetting the password of a millionaire that knows a lot about bitcoin even though he got them only as a gift. I'm pretty sure that wallet couldn't even face itself in the mirror for all the shame he caused to the bitcoin community

Good on him for coming out. The guy maybe has a million of viewers that were informed about this scam. Given the circumstances, it's probably the most efficient and effective approach. I visited the Philippine SEC website to check if there's already an advisory against this bitcoin revolution but I couldn't see any unfortunately. I don't know how long it would take for them to investigate after the reports and were submitted. I guess I'll just add one more report to their list and hope that they act faster. I'm also done reporting all six in the OP. Google is kinda slow also in taking down these fraudulent websites. Like, do they really 100% surely guaranteed profits as long as we go subscribe to their services?
1Referee already explained it well but I just want to show you an example. There was this user who was very confident in his trading bot and claims that it has never lost. There were even long and heated arguments with other members here questioning his bot's win rate. Finally, a reputable member here volunteered to try the trading bot. Follow his updates on this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5206137.0 It looks like the experiment didn't end well

I read that those who do not try to search if the topic has been discussed before will get the virus Previous topic: Corona Virus will Impact the price of Bitcoin ? Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5220763.0The topic was originally posted he in bitcoin board correctly but was probably moved by moderator.. You can lock this topic now and follow the discussion on the link I provided. The next time you think of opening another topic about the effect of certain events on the price of bitcoin, the speculation board the is correct section for that.

Okay, please enlighten me here...
Is this how the events happened? 1. From exchange to his private wallet 2. From private wallet, sent to a mixer 3. From mixer, to another private wallet 4. A few days later, he got an email that he violated the terms for sending his btc to a mixing service.
If that is the case, isn't that invasion of privacy already? It's like a bank telling you that you can't deposit your money to any institution that they don't like.

It's probably one of the most hyped projects that failed to live up to expectations when it comes to the price and adoption. Don't get me wrong, the Waves team did release some real products like their DEX and lending platform. I even remember it being dubbed as the ethereum killer when smart contracts were implemented. Having all that, it seems like only a few are interested in the project and I'm not sure why.
I stopped following the project's development last year but if you are really interested, you should check their roadmap and see if there's anything that will attract new investors.

Hayaan na natin mga DT at ibang mga forum members na interesado na mag-debate dyan. It is up to them kung anong gagawin nila sa QC at sa mga members na sumali sa campaign. Life goes on sabi nga ni yahoo.
YoDollars - right move pero naging irrelevant na, mainit na masyado ang Yobit by that time.

You are right, we can change completely the thread subject, but it doesn't matter. You may not pay attention, but it always exists in this forum without any harm.
It may not be that important but I still find it confusing though. I thought I was opening a new topic entitled "IT's NOT IMPORTANT" since it has no "Re:" but only to find out it's a reply to a thread.

I was browsing the net to see if there was a similar incident before and found this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8txhex/bittrex_account_hacked_with_2fa_enabled_be_careful/The same thing could have happened to your account. On June the 19th a hacker was able to intrude in my Google account.
1. He stole passwords from "Google Auto Sign-in", a tool I use to automatically sign-in to websites using stored credentials
2. downloaded photos of me and of my passport from Google drive
3. arranged these pictures with Photoshop or some other photo editing program to make a photomontage showing me holding my passport
4. entered in my Bittrex support account and submitted a ticket to disable 2FA security on my account
5. put a rule in my gmail to filter all messages from Bittrex and send them directly into the trash bin.
6. At the request of identity verification he just posted 2 photomontages one showing me holding a paper sheet reading "bittrex 19.06.2018 Please disable 2FA" and another one showing me holding my passport. It looks to me that you are a seasoned trader that needs no reminding of "not your keys, not your funds". I assume that you already contacted the bittrex support team and why they allowed the 2FA. May I ask if your email was also changed?
