1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good alt hodl posts and "motivation" from the past? on: July 27, 2019, 10:59:17 AM
This kinda feel weird. An investor asking motivation to hold on to his/her investment. I don't know mate but I think it's wiser to check on the developments of the projects you invested into than reading inspirational stories. I mean, you don't even know if what altcoins they held for a long time before that gave them good profits.
1062  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga dahilan ng mga deleted posts sa forum on: July 27, 2019, 08:56:36 AM
Tungkol sa troll post, hati din ako dito. Minsan may nababasa akong sinasabi nilang isang "troll comment" pero kapag binasa ko, meron naman point kahit papano. Subjective din yan.
As I've pointed out, a troll post is different from tongue-in-cheek replies or sarcasm. They're two different bananas. A troll post is pure garbage/trash.
Just like what I used in my example, some people are subjective to fit their definition of a troll. We can only imagine how difficult this is for the moderators if many will report comments they perceived as troll.

1064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My mindset vs. Mindset of people around me. on: July 27, 2019, 08:05:35 AM
One question. I know that some here have decent jobs in their real life but how do you response somebody who is saying things like that. Please help me. I don't know what to say to them and even I say it, they have no idea unto what I'm doing. Thanks.
Are these people close family? If so, the best way to stop them from asking is to give them money on a weekly or monthly basis. That should be enough to prove to them that you are doing well with crypto or whatever online gig you have and that you don't need an 8-hour job.

If they are not close family, you can just ignore them.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 27, 2019, 07:30:04 AM
Just curious, do you see something in Tacko where he might not last long in the NBA? IMO, he can compete in the league, add a few more pounds and he's ready to bang bodies with any bigs out there.
Many giants have come before him and we don't even remember a lot of them because their careers don't last that long. They are prone to injuries. He looks agile now because youth is still in him and he hasn't played the number of games with a high level of competition yet.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I lost 200,000 EURO on Bitcasino.io on: July 27, 2019, 07:13:02 AM
That's a lot of money spent on gambling and I'm even more amazed that you are only doing it for fun  Cheesy
I don't know if you have that "never give up" mentality but I don't think that really works on gambling.

I have a large mining farm and I'm generating a good amount of btc per week. But 90% of it gets dumped into bitcasino because I feel that my luck should change every week haha.
Seriously, you can limit it to 50% instead of throwing 90% of your mined btc.

1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 27, 2019, 07:05:20 AM
One thing that is cool with this guy is he is not that slow. He ain't like Boban which cannot do fast breaks. Tako can.
Also, he jumps. When I saw him play, announcers are trying to figure out if he is jumping and yes he is.
I don't why he is not pick on the draft, he got skills though raw but he can improve.
While it is undeniable that Tacko has skills and good moves for a guy his size, I won't criticize the teams for not drafting him. In a league where skills, athleticism and longevity matters, they have to pick the top players who meets that criteria. They don't want to get someone who might not last long.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: July 27, 2019, 06:53:10 AM
Let us wish each other luck, mate! The teams in Group D are not easy opponents, especially Italy and Serbia. While I also support and cheer with crossed fingers for my very own country, I am not expecting them coming out the winner even in the first round.
They almost made it last time. They had close games with top European teams and they can do it again. I think they can win against Angola and Italy  Cheesy

What about the china who is the host country for this world cup ?  Although china never won the FIBA worldcup before but it would be interesting to see their performance in this WC. They are in group A with Cote d'Ivoire, Poland and Venezuela in their pool.
They may go to the second round but I don't see them going any further than that. They don't have enough athletic or deadly shooters.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 26, 2019, 07:11:35 PM
Don't know why others doubting this guy early. There are lots of room for improvements if ever he will have difficulty for his early seasons. And yes, as a big man, there will be a point that he will clash with the likes of Joel Embiid and Greek Freek but as long as he tries to improve his defense anytime, then much better. No need to literally expect him that he can able to stop those two always.
I've also seen some highlights and he looks good with some post moves but people that tall don't usually last playing multiple physical games in a year. It's his durability that's being questioned.
1070  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] Account - user0000001 on: July 26, 2019, 06:57:43 PM
I cannot see you winning your appeal here. You can try your best to argue about translators but the closing parenthesis at the end of the sentence strongly suggests that you copy-pasted.
1071  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Credit Card Cash Loan - Buy Bitcoin on: July 26, 2019, 06:38:19 PM
Just imagine the pressure at stress na aabutin mo kapag hindi umaangat si bitcoin o patuloy na bumaba tapos papalipit na due date ng loan repayment. Maraming ganyang kuwento back in 2017. Instead of a loan, bakit hindi ka na lang magbenta ng gamit mo then use the sales proceeds pang-invest sa bitcoin?
1072  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Duterte halts lotto, other gaming schemes licensed and franchised by PCSO on: July 26, 2019, 06:24:45 PM
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: July 26, 2019, 05:35:01 PM
The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.

Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?

It has been a while since I have joined an airdrop. From my experience, none of them has asked me to sign anything. Airdrops are supposed to be free and you do not need to send anything to them. Anyone asking you to send first are scams.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that would list your coin for free or a very small fee? on: July 26, 2019, 05:30:31 PM
I have found that thread that precisely answer to all my questions
Check it out! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5079048.0

Now that you got what you needed, maybe you can lock this thread now before it becomes one of the many mega-spam threads here.

But before you do that, can you answer if you have an ANN here? Best of luck with your listing.

USA can still win this but if not, then it will be one of the top European teams.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 26, 2019, 04:00:13 PM
Tacko Fall has officially signed with the Celtics. Some have doubted how his body can cope up with the NBA and I don't know if he can hold up to the bigs in the east like Embid and Giannis but I can't wait for the Celtics-Sixers-Bucks. One of them will win the Eastern conference.

Keeping Lillard was their greatest deal ever. With their lineup, they still might make it to the championship .
McCollum is his Pippen. It is also a wise move to extend him for he got the potential of being a champion.

Let the team improve their chemistry by playing together for it may also improve their plays and also a higher chance to get the title.
Like I said, their line up looks good. We shall see whether they can go deep into the playoff again next season. A lot of teams in the West have made some potentially significant improvements also.

How do you think BNB is a good choice? What's the basis of your interpretation? BNB is overvalued now even. It doesn't have anything to be priced at $30. Just because of the IEO, it got significant pump. Initially I have the same thought but, the truth is it's still a shit centralizes coin.
Can you imagine what will happen if a significant hack goes over Binance? Let me remember- Waso, waso, waso, bitconeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
We may derail this thread if we go back and forth with this. Obviously, you have your own opinion of BNB and others like me have another. You can go go check the various BNB topics on Altcoins Discussion board.

For example you can collect BAT by using the Brave Browser, which I think is a great browser.
I've been wanting to try this but it is not yet available in our region.
1078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for a poor newbie on: July 25, 2019, 07:36:14 PM
Can you confirm if your total cash out is around $80? I'm not sure if you followed the "do not put all your eggs in one basket" advise but you may have spread your assets too thin here. It is better to consolidate to one coin like BTC as many have suggested already. I adon't think BNB is a bad choice either but it is up to you.

1079  Other / Meta / Re: Hired shillers/thread bumpers? on: July 25, 2019, 07:22:47 PM
yet i am not so sure what exactly can be done about it... (Nothing?)
Those accounts in the OP who does the same thing were all banned after being reported. Maybe you can report five of their comments and they will be banned too.
1080  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga dahilan ng mga deleted posts sa forum on: July 25, 2019, 07:07:02 PM
@asu I am reiterating that specific point of the OP and thought that it's better to use sample comments. If you feel offended by me in using your comment, I apologize.
