1021  Other / Meta / Re: Are self-moderated threads censorship? on: August 02, 2019, 07:24:24 AM
No, creating self-moderated threads is not censorship but it can become a tool to censor someone else. In OP's example, if another person says something negative thing about waffles and the OP deletes it, then that's also censorship in my view.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 20 Weirdest Cryptocurrencies on: August 01, 2019, 07:30:32 PM
Another one that should be on the list imo is Jesus Coin. I still have no idea why it was created and how it made it to CMC.

There are a lot more weird tokens (mostly erc-20) out there but they never got listed on CMC and for good reasons.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: What the next 4 years look like? on: August 01, 2019, 07:22:12 PM
I would not be thinking that far for ethereum yet. I want to see ethereum 2.0 first and how the community will react to it.

competitors only in words. Ethereum has a very strong team and other projects (at the moment) can not bypass Ethereum in terms of marketing and development, as funding will not be enough.
Do not be so sure about that. Have you actually studied the other blockchains competing with eth? Or did you just look at their respective prices?
1024  Other / Off-topic / Re: 💛 Emoji: we make a topic on the Bitcointalk beautiful🐞 on: August 01, 2019, 07:07:34 PM
The default emojis are enough. There is no need to use more. Those emojis in the OP are more useful in social media and not in a forum like btt.

Since when is expressing an opposing opinion an attack? This is a forum mate, don't expect everyone to agree with your opinion or proposal. You can lock this topic if you do not want to see more "attacks".
1025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What stock exchanges lack? Convenient trading on: August 01, 2019, 06:53:14 PM
Few tips for your ANN:

1. For better visibility, move this to Service Discussion > Exchanges (Check the "move to" option at the bottom of the page (left side).
2. You do not need to hire all these thread bumping services.
3. Please make a better presentation like adding some screen shot.

1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best exchange in 2019? on: August 01, 2019, 06:30:10 PM
I don't particularly have a rank of the exchanges I used. I have some preferred exchanges right now like Kucoin and Binance. I find them very easy to use. It's amazing that none has even considered any of the DEX to be one of the best yet.
1027  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records, here. on: August 01, 2019, 06:06:10 PM

This is hilarious! I really wanted to give you a merit just for this post but I thought maybe it is better if your merit count remains 555 for another day. Enjoy it  Cheesy
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 01, 2019, 04:56:45 PM
Don't do that. Fans wont cheer for him at his best if he aint unique.
He can explode for so many times just like how superstars do it and also have his off nights which superstars also have.
Still it doesnt make sense for me.
I will look deeper to what analysts would say about this.
He ain't unique mate. The last time I saw fans really cheering for him was during his Linsanity stint with the Knicks. He had a little break when Melo got injured and he took advantage of it which is good for him. After that, he wasn't able to elevate or adjust his game. NBA is a tough league where players fight for position, it's either you shape up or ship out. If your current form doesn't impress the coaches, then you're on your way out.

Which do you think is more gifted overall? The Greek Freak - Giannis or Zion
When you compare them now, It's the Greek Freak.
When you compare them when the freak entered the league, I'd say they're pretty much equal.

1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 01, 2019, 04:34:38 PM
Neymar?
Juventus acting like Real Madrid now. I hope this transfer won't happen. I don't think Ronaldo-Neymar would work.

Ronaldo nominated for Ballon d'Or, how do you feel that?
I'm all good with his nomination. He is still an elite player and also instrumental in Juve's win last season.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Liverpool VS Man. City, 2019 England Community Shield, By a Fan of SEER on: August 01, 2019, 04:19:44 PM
It's not the most competitive of matches but it should be entertaining. I hope no one gets seriously injured here. Liverpool may have the slight edge here.

The duo of manchester have good history during community shield that Man Utd with the most titles and Man City as defending champion
This year's Community shield is between Liverpool and Man City.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: August 01, 2019, 04:14:35 PM
I still expect the Beermen to reach the finals (3-1) and TNT (3-2).
Oh well TNT finished off the GSM already and now waiting for the winner of SMB vs ROS series. I was expecting the TNT vs. GSM series to go to game 5 but it's all good since I didn't put a bet for game 4. I would have lost for picking GSM
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Fury 2: The Rematch on: July 31, 2019, 07:41:35 PM
If Wilder won rounds 9 and 12 by KO, why do you think Fury won rest of the rounds?
It was hard to see Wilder swinging and just punching the air. Fury was more precise during their first fight. I am not a judge but if it were up to me, Fury won 8 rounds at the very least.

Knocked down was the more appropriate term, not KO.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary tokens as an emerging threat in the cryptospace on: July 31, 2019, 07:31:28 PM
The concept of a deflationary token is a good idea in my opinion, it's just the use case that's been missing. It's just less supply = more demand thing.

Equal was the pioneer but they've already dropped it after moving to the Binance chain.

Can Colby Covington Finally Get A Title Shot If He Beats Robbie Lawler?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R47A8Tc7Nuk&feature=youtu.be
He should be based on his win streak. It's unfortunate that he is an organization that doesn't really have a standard on who gets the next title fight. If he can finish or win impressively, that will increase his chances. If only Woodley was still the champ, he could have his title shot already.
1035  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [DISCUSSION] Lightning Network Explained by finaleshot2016. ⚡ on: July 31, 2019, 03:04:10 PM
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: July 31, 2019, 02:45:48 PM
So it's both 2-1 now, I was expecting SMB to sweep ROS but kudos to them for hanging on. It was a good back-and-forth battle.

I still expect the Beermen to reach the finals (3-1) and TNT (3-2).
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 31, 2019, 02:32:15 PM
Worse, you love playing the game but no one is trying to give you minutes again to showcase your skills.

Just dont know why an explosive guy like Jeremy Lin will be benched like that.
He can do "no look" pass and shoot with a high percentage. Can also penetrate the paint. Just what the hell is the reason behind the sudden dip of this guy.

He is just 30 and they say his being "Linsanity" is over. Urgh!
Maybe you are not seeing what the coaches are seeing. Maybe he can shoot and make those fancy passes but there are so many aspects of the game that he may be lacking from the coaches point of view. It's also not like he's a unique or once in a lifetime player.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Fury 2: The Rematch on: July 31, 2019, 02:23:54 PM
Tyson = Left hand; Fury = Right hand  Cheesy

I would also go for Fury on the rematch. Wilder was the happier of the two when it was announced as draw. The guys is so skilled and fast for his size. He'll fight smarter during the rematch. It could happen early next year.

Come on now  Grin how can Fury be robbed, as he was knocked down twice (round 9 and 12).

Plus, according to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuD_G_WE4Sg it took more than 10 second for Fury to recover. Judge "saved" him. If this was not last round, judge would count till 10 and stop the fight (just my opition, but I'm not a boxing pro).
By judge, you mean referee?
Fury was robbed. Rounds 9 and 12 were the only rounds that Wilder clearly won. The rest of the fight, Wilder was punching the air most of the time.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is better Government run Lottery or private run Lottery on: July 31, 2019, 01:58:48 PM
I would prefer that the government still hold lotteries. It is still better than letting some private corporation control the prices of the tickets and where proceeds should go.

The government are getting funds from poor people to help the poor people, that doesn't makes sense IMO.
It's not like people are being duped by the government to give their money though. They aren't forced to join.

As far as the recent free agency status is a concern, looks like no teams shown interest on some of the notable names left on the free agency like Carmelo Anthony, Shaun Livingston, Jeremy Lin, JR Smith, Lance Stephenson, etc.
Shaun Livingston has to be signed somewhere, even for a minimum contract. The guy can still play and knows how to really share the ball. I've also seen that Lin video, he should have elevated his game after his Linsanity stint. I understand that he still wants to play and prove something but there are just better guys out there.
