Nice find.
122  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: April 09, 2015, 07:30:30 PM
Right now it's effectively a bet on the off chance of a penny stock succeeding.

Hasn't that always been the case?
123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 08, 2015, 08:15:28 PM
Mineral is located in HK (currently XPY Limited HK, name change has been confirmed btw) for obvious reasons. Our dev and support team will be located in the UK for the stated reasons that you just posted.

Again, who can I call to make sure you're fully insured like you claim?

Dont quite follow you? Your coins are secured by Mineral International Limited. We will soon be releasing how our secured offline wallets are setup.

Mineral customer coins are insured and stored on offline servers that are never connected to the Internet.

Which company can I call to make sure your customers coins are insured?

It's a pretty simple question.

http://www.oneibc.com.hk/fees

Total Cost (USD) 299

 Roll Eyes

Does that come in with a HK bank account? Mail forwarding etc? Didn't think so.

Who can I call to make sure your totally legit exchange is fully insured?
126  Economy / Securities / Re: HAVELOCK tried to BRIBE ME! on: April 06, 2015, 09:37:24 PM
Ok, i have dealt with this before (MtGox and PBmining) and recovered ALL the money, you know how? By gathering the biggest investors and pooling with them a REWARD OF 300 BTC for the whereabouts of YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS and another 300 BTC to pay for the people that is going to PAY YOU AND THEM A VISIT.

You are not dealing here with the average guy that invests 0.1 BTC, i represent a group with almost 250.000 shares, value over 250 BTC, I represent the kind of people that it is VERY DANGEROUS to mess with in any part of the world.

So i will offer you an exit: Reimburse our shares for 250 BTC or i will start the process of hunting you and your relatives and friends. You have 24 hours, after that i will start the hunt and i will make it public, so not only you will have to pay the biggest ones, but almost every little guy that sums to the hunt. It is best for you to settle this now than settle it later, check my posts in this forum, I HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE.

Be smart, be like Mark Karpeles and Jason Boyko, they are still good and their relatives too because they acted smart, they kept this private and small and ended up losing less.

You have 24 hours.

IIRC Mr. teal was able to find a ~200 btc transaction that happened right before Airwolf comes out and says this:

127  Economy / Securities / Re: HAVELOCK tried to BRIBE ME! on: April 06, 2015, 07:39:42 AM
Don't try and put words in my mouth. Why do you have to constantly take digs at this guy.  Yes I have seen him post some stuff and I take much if it with a grain of salt but same goes for you and your posts. Seems like you sir are motivated to portray a certain perspective whereas air wolf might be batshit crazy but at least he comes off as genuine. So he got hit hard and is pissed and is trying to do something about it. Good for him and good for the rest of us smaller investors. Maybe he accomplishes some,   Maybe he accomplishes nothing.

I do not think I am as you suggested ( delusional). I don't think much can really be done but atleast someone is trying to get to the bottom of it. And if nothing else he is communicating his displeasure and his position to the actors in the situation. He may not succeed in his effort but I can guarantee that something is less likely to happen if there aren't calls being made, emails and letters being sent and cages being rattled.(keep it up all those who are doing this and don't be afraid to post update) jimothy idk why you think it is good to post such negativity because it stifles open and free discussions.

I am not new to Bitcoin and I have seen ponzies and scams come and go and no one ever held accountable. You are not crazy for being cynical and pessimistic. But you are an asshole for attacking people for who don't demonstrate your nonchalantness.

-Mulletwang

Look, I'm not against doing something, like reporting AM/FC to the proper authorities or taking further legal action if you feel like wasting your money/time. I am however completely against extortion.

I'm honestly surprised so many of you are fully supporting this guys attempts at blackmailing a suspected scammer and his friends/family/associates. It's disgusting. Imagine if you started a business and for whatever reason it fails, how would you like someone threatening your family if you don't cough up the money which you don't have?

There is absolutely no justification for extortion, period.

People aren't just sitting around waiting for some miracle to happen. Action is being taken, but not by some 12 year old wannabe gangster/extortionist who spams every "discovery" he makes across the forum.

I'm 99% sure he isn't even invested at all. All of his discoveries were public knowledge that anyone who spent ~20 minutes doing due diligence would have found. Most likely he's just taking advantage of the situation to extort some guy he knows has a lot of btc since it worked with Mr PBmining.
128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 06, 2015, 02:06:42 AM
Not sure if this has been posted here but this is Josh's new "unofficial" account on hash talk https://hashtalk.org/user/minerorigin

What a fucking scammer loser.

@PotatoFan said:

@minerorigin Certainly not thousands of coins, but thousands of stakers for sure.
100% of staker income went into purchasing BTC which was used to purchase XPY at the launch of coinstand

So he's dumping ~2000 xpy to get enough btc to buyback ~50 xpy?

I'm thinking this is just another attempt to get the reasonably educated people out of his scam. (scamming retards means no repercussions, if they even realize they are being scammed)

Speaking of retards:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=119409

This retard forgot to add an asterisk after "core developer" explaining that it's not the bitcoin core, but some shitcoin core.

Also forgot to mention that he developed the platform for the ponzi "hashprofit", and was the sole promoter that scam on this forum.

Why anyone would trust this buffoon to run a shitcoin exchange is beyond me.

Air wolf I support your efforts and admire your persistence. There is no doubt that something smells fishy at havelock. I am a Canadian who has contacted and supported havelock along the way but I have lost faith along the way. I definitely think there should be an independent 3rd party investigation into their financial activities.

Airwolf, stop putting so much effort fighting off the trolls and focus your energy towards your efforts. I think they will bear fruits when you stop allowing your energy to be sucked from you by the vampires.

-Mulletwang

Lol @ you taking airwolf seriously. You actually think this play pretend gangster is friends with Putin and is going to have him call his buddies at China to hunt down the guy who sold you unregistered securities and took off? You're delusional.

The gullibility of some people in the crypto world never fails to amaze me.
131  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 31, 2015, 08:55:05 PM
Contrary to popular belief among some of you more naive cryptonoobs, wasting boatloads of money on legal fees will only increase your losses.

Every time a scam collapses we see the same thing. Those who invested too much to lose form a group to sue the scammers, and every single time they come up empty handed.

I've seen dozens of scams collapse and I still have yet to see a single person recover anything through legal means after wasting thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours working through the legal system, but I'm sure this time will be different right?

Just file a report with the proper authorities and move on with your life.

if you have any other questions I will be more than happy to answer them for you

Who exactly are you and why should we believe you?

Do you plan on releasing any more info and exposing GAW further?

I'd be particularly interested in knowing:

- Was there ever $100m backing?

- Was there ever any tier 1 partnerships? (like directly with Amazon/Mastercard)

- Is/was GAW dumping xpy on the market?

- Is there a SEC subpoena/investigation?

- Is Josh still living in the US?
134  Other / Off-topic / Re: I am Jonah Dorman, the former, (interim) CEO of the GAW Conglomerate on: March 31, 2015, 03:02:07 AM
+5 respect points.

It takes a real man to expose GAW/Garza after knowing his extortion tactics. (If the car following part is true, that's pretty scary)

I wonder if it's possible to sue Mr Mclain for extortion? The guy must have send out dozens of threats of frivolous lawsuits by now.

You know, ViK, the guy whose dick Josh was sucking last night on twitter and the "only media outlet" that will say anything nice about GAW?

No, actually, I do not.

Vik is the guy who owns badbitcoin.org. (the site dedicated to finding/exposing scams, yet despite all the warning signs, he continues to aggressively promote GAW.)

Read his recent assessment of the whole GAW situation here for a good laugh: http://www.badbitcoin.org/gaw.htm

He's very good and puts it exactly as it is.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm, or if you are actually supporting these idiots attempts at taking action against AM.

Why would they? it has no basis its pure shit

I can't tell if you're really a delusional paycoiner, or just a convincing troll.

Either way, the only thing here that's pure shit are your posts.

More Josh/Jonah babble about NDAs shared by PRODIGI on GH:

I called this individual out and others talking about NDAs on GH and I got quietly told to go away.

You got called out because you called her a 'retard'.  Something no one should ever call anyone much less to the mother of a special needs child.

That's retarded.

Calling someone a retard is no different than calling them stupid/an idiot/a paycoiner, but for some strange reason retards get really offended by the word retard.

It's only a matter of time before retards are too offended by the phrase "special needs" and have it changed to something nicer like "alternatively paced learners".
138  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ANN] HashCoins - Cryptocurrency Mining Hardware Manufacturer on: March 29, 2015, 07:56:26 AM
I will attach a wire transfer document just for you to believe, and well, consider me as a newbie in the forum here not meaning I am a newbie in mining business!

I think you've proven you're a newbie to mining when you bought from hashcoins.

What made you decide to buy from these extremely shady hardware resellers who lie about their hardware specs?

Well you proven nothing but Bla Bla Bla .. if you tried to do business with them before in that case you are speaking the language of logic and experience other than that you prove nothing.

I read about their hardware specs and compare it to the market, and I believe that they are alright and I thought I will "give the benefit of the doubt" to HashCoins and still the days not over.

Take care!

You never asked for proof, but here it is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=417623.msg9823103#msg9823103

In case you don't already know, ck is the lead developer for cgminer (the mining software hashcoins uses) and Mrteal is a hardware developer (who has designed boards using the same HF golden nonce chips as hashcoins)

You say you're not a noob miner, but how can you compare their specs to the market and think they are legit? There are several chip integrators that use HF chips, and their hardware all performs about the same. Hashcoins is the only chip integrator that claims to have specs FAR beyond what is possible with the chip they are using.

Hashcoins is like a shady used car dealership that rolls back the odometer, fakes the paperwork, and tells you every car they sell is as efficient as a Toyota Prius.

140  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If BTC/USD went to $0.00 tomorrow or diff = ∞ how would it affect you ? on: March 29, 2015, 06:46:06 AM
Suppose hypothetically that tomorrow the price of Bitcoin became $0 due to some blockchain hack or economic event or that for some reason the difficulty went to infinity and you couldn't make a penny mining.

I keep reading many many threads here and I am starting to realise that Bitcoin is becoming much more then a hobby for some. There are people who constantly keep buying new equipment at retail when they pay alot for electricity and still have old unpaid hardware. And yet they still keep buying hardware

I keep seeing people who constantly keep buying more and more Bitcoin on margin or who empty out their 401K and reinvest it into Bitcoin. I see many individuals who max out their credit cards and trying to buy Bitcoin either thru Paypal or some merchants.

For myself. If bitcoin went to $0, I probably would be very sad and a little pissed off. Economically I would be hurt slightly but nothing that would make me suicidal.

How would it work out for you?

Your scenarios are impossible. Bitcoin difficulty cannot go to infinity, and the blockchain cannot be "hacked".

I don't mean to sound rude but this seems like an incredibly pointless discussion. It's basically "what if the thing you all care about became useless/worthless".

Also I've been on these forums for ~3 years now and I've literally never heard of someone maxing out their credit cards to buy btc.
