121  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Dark Side of the Art Industry Foretell NFTs Future on: October 31, 2021, 10:58:21 PM
~
There is a big difference between a one hundred year old one dollar bill which happens to be in mint condition as this was not supposed to happen with what we see in this market in which NFTs have no other goal but to be bought and be collected, and as such I do not think this market will amount to much once it crashes as people realize it is a waste of money and time to try to collect something that no one cares about.
You got a point there but there are new users in the cryptocurrency space because of NFT, not sure what the future would be, they need to come up with something interesting to carry on with the hype. I am also eager to see how the NFT market would be when the market turns red. NFT games are coming to some of these projects and there are many coming up but only a few will survive.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 31, 2021, 10:36:41 PM
This is not mandatory by ICC it's every board own decision, so I am feeling this was from BCCI that every Indian cricketer will be kneeling down. About Pakistan, I read they already cleared about this they will never do this in any game but in respect they will put their hands on chest which is also like same thing. Your point is valid, BCCI need to do some other things as well because they are most powerful in ICC, and they can force them for anything related to humanity instead of this BLM.
I am not sure whether these are mandatory or not, i understand the message they are trying to convey but my opinion is to avoid these political statement or any massage other than cricket. There are major problems in the world and it is not because of racism and if you start voicing one then you need to start mentioning other issues as well.

India also facing some serious issues which are hurting very badly to them in last few decades, but sadly they never do any act for this on any forum which is very important for them to aware world about these things with their way in this ICC.
I am not sure what you are talking about, can you be more specific about the things you are talking about. What are these issues related to cricket and what changes ICC can come up with to sort any issues  Huh.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ethereum gas price is very high? on: October 31, 2021, 10:19:16 PM
I have 5 tokens stuck on my wallet that I cannot trade, it all becomes shit tokens because of the cost of trading or transferring it, as much as possible I stay away from Etherem based tokens and it's good to know up and coming projects with potentials are on BSC and MATIC if you are a small trader Ethereum is not for you, I really missed those times where I can send a huge amount of token for pennies.
If you invested in any token built on top of the Ethereum network then you are doomed as there is no idea when the situation will be back to normal but with the speed in which things are moving there is no way the Ethereum team will be able to sort the issues in the network during the rally. Majority of the projects were forced to have alternative chains, if not they will loose the investors and i am not willing to spend $40 per transaction to move some shit coins .
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 31, 2021, 09:35:39 PM
~
Schooled? That's not an appropriate thought because Canelo is just in his early years of boxing when he fought Mayweather. Lack of experience and don't have yet some of the special moves. If they will fight on prime, Canelo has the chance to beat Mayweather.
When Canelo Įlvarez faced Floyd Mayweather he already had 43 professional fights and you cannot call that inexperience. Canelo Įlvarez was much younger but in the fight game he had enough experience when he faced him and he is a legend of the sport and no one can debate that.

On the topic, it seems that some boxing analysts consider Caleb Plant can take a chance to win the fight. Maybe they are referring to both boxer's current training regimes.
It is not surprising because all the American analyst will give Caleb Plant a chance against Canelo Įlvarez and as a fight fan anything is possible in a fight but i am rooting for Canelo Įlvarez to win the fight.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 31, 2021, 08:58:15 PM
I can feel that this is another like Tyson vs Jones  Grin the ending is DRAW and Mike will win   Cheesy

anyway exhibition game nowadays are not getting more reaction and support from Boxing community because of the past results in which many gamblers losing their funds because of Manipulation from the results.
and Same as mine , i will never take part in this kind of plays.
I would say that it is better to avoid exhibition fights even if you have the itch you gamble on it. You cannot expect to find a result in majority of the exhibition fights and you cannot expect the judges to score them and if you are placing a bet on these fights you end up loosing. I am not sure whether i will be placing a bet on Mike Tyson and Logan Paul, will make the decision after looking at the odds.

Consider India out from the tourny, for majority of Indian fans 2003 WC finals , 2007 WC, 36 all out, WTC finals and 2021 WC doesn't exist  Grin Grin
With performance like this, there is no way they are going to win the match. I really thought the IPL would help the team to prepare for the World Cup and it turns out to be a disaster. It is a really pathetic performance by India and before the tournament i thought they are the favorites to win the entire event and now they are on the verge of a two match loosing streak Cheesy.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 31, 2021, 12:45:35 PM
Paddy Pimblett is no comparison to Chimaev Cheesy The kid is new bright star probably, but Chimaev has more charisma. I dont get why Paddy gets so much attention? He has only one UFC fight, and before that, he is not in winning streak. To me, he is just a regular fighter who has a good record made in a cage warrior. But I dont know how he will perform in other top promotions.
Paddy Pimblett is a character and talks a lot and so is the reason we are talking about him and so does Khamzat Chimaev but he is backing up and his skills are evident and he might fast track to a title if he is active next year.

From the Internet: "More than Cory Sandhagens mom and his team, cheering for his victory was Aljamain Sterling, because if Petr wins, he would have to take another beating." Cheesy
Aljamain Sterling has nowhere to hide now, he will be facing Petr Yan next and i am rooting for Petr Yan to win.

It was Asif Ali 4 sixes in one over that turned the table for Pakistan. His performance was match winning too against NZ, scored 27 runs on 12 balls but his performance was overlooked because of Harris Rauf bowling and Shoaib Malik batting. A good hitter at no 6/7.
I have not seen his performance before the World Cup, but he is a great talent for them and he is a power player who could change the match with his impressive striking and his consecutive performance against New Zealand and Afghanistan stand out from the rest.

~
England has made it by 12th over. So marvelous. A good game from England. Chris Jordan was awesome taking 3 wickets and giving out just 14 runs out of 4 overs. Though Mills have given 45 runs, he has taken 2 wickets and Woakes has taken 2 wickets giving out only 23 runs. These three were the key players to bring down Australia score below 130. Joe Buttler was on fire scoring 71* from just 32 balls, 5 4s 5 6s at 221 strike rate. Vow.
Australia disappointed big time and i thought it would be a competitive match but England dominated the match and the next match for England is against Sri Lanka and that is another easy win for England but the odds are not that great.

May be its popular among blacks in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Blacks dont have necessary facilities as compared to whites that's why they cant compete with them. South Africa has produced great black players like Makhaya Ntini, so we cant say that blacks dont like cricket in SA. I am surprised to see there is no black player in Namibia team and its strange that you have majority of Blacks in country while your team only has white players.
I have no idea what you are implying here that facilities are different for everyone in a country, you are talking in 2021 like we differentiate people with their caste and color and it is bullshit to see these issues raised here. I have no idea about Namibia as a country, if there are no native players then it is the ICC or their respective cricket that need to sort out because they need to attract the players to play the game.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 29, 2021, 11:49:06 PM
Paul brothers never lose. Only during sparing  Grin
This fight is going to be another bought fight. If (or better when) Logan wins, who would he fight next? Wait till  Fury retire, gain his 100lb back and offer him an exhibition fight? Why not, Fury likes to have fun and clown.
I expect fight to end in slip decision in Logan favour.
There is no way Logan Paul is going to win the fight against Mike Tyson even though he is in his mid 50s . Logan Paul is not even at the level of professional level fighters and if Mike Tyson could fight the same way he fought against Roy Jones i am sure Logan Paul will be hitting the canvas.

To be fair Logan Paul is not even a heavy weight to be matching against Tyson Fury, with one hands tied behind the back Fury will beat him up  Cheesy.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa or Cardano for 1 year? on: October 29, 2021, 11:37:40 PM
~
According to my own personal opinion, I chose Ziliqa. Because I think Cardano has reached its highest price for now. There may be more price increases, but I think it hits Ziliqa more than Cardano.
The thread was created in 2018 and if you make a suggestion that Zilliqa which i am hearing for the first time as i have not heard about this project nor i do not remember reading about it somewhere. If Cardano rallied which it did three years down and line and you think a random project like Zilliqa
will rally now. I would advance everyone to check the projects before advising someone about investing Tongue.

Edit: I just check the graph and even Zilliqa rallied this year like every other coin in the market, so i would not advice anyone to invest, take your decision and spend time to learn about the project before investing.

SELL , or CHANGE ..

Dogecoin is not going anywhere in the next couple of years so if you want your funds to increase then best to use in another coins at least this year and the next, and if you really trust dogecoin then invest again in the future.
He invested when the price was at an all time high according to him and until and unless there is a major correction in the market there is no point in selling at a loss. If he invested a couple of hundred dollars then it is better for him to hold rather than to sell off right now. I am not having very high hope for its rally but then it is the cryptocurrency market and anything can happen.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The president of El Salvador just bout 420 BTC! on: October 29, 2021, 09:18:27 PM

It's easy to try and act gimmicky when you're spending other peoples money. I can only wonder what sort of projects and social benefits (new roads?) might have been possible in this country with this sum of money, instead of paying off speculators for little real benefit to the tax payers. It also seems incredible wasteful to buy in such large sums, although he might just be grandstanding, when he could buy much smaller amounts periodically instead of waiting for these elusive "dips" where you never can tell the bottom. I guess he is still chasing newspaper headlines and populism which in order to get re-elected next time, without actually fixing much else in the country.
This is exactly what i was thinking after reading the headline, is he invested from his own pocket or he is playing with the taxpayers money and he is particular about getting all the headlines and he is getting them. I wonder what is the ground reality and how the people in El Salvador are responding to his investment in Bitcoin. There were many resistance when he introduced Bitcoin and he might not be that popular among the normal citizens.

Domestic set up is also not helpful for them because their new generation of cricketers is not good enough as they need before joining this national team.
I am not aware of their domestic setup but their having their own T20 league cricket and they should find young talents that could be in their playing eleven. Teams like Pakistan surprised everyone with their performance and they have some new players and they have plenty of all round options and Bangladesh needs to find quality players that can bowl in these UAE pitches and if they would have done that then there was a hope for them.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLYGON’S MATIC or Solana on: October 28, 2021, 10:56:02 PM
I prefer matic polygon , because the Matic blockchain is also listed on Opensea, which makes it have a high volume of visitors and a better market has a solid future for those who trust it
If you are fan of the NFT market then all the projects that are using ETH network will be using Polygon to overcome the high transaction fees, when it comes to usability i think Polygon is serving the purpose when users are struggling with high transaction fees in the ETH network.  When it comes to token valuation Solana has a much higher valuation and i am yet to invest in Solana but i am holding Matic to make NFT transactions.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 28, 2021, 07:41:27 PM
~
As we are seeing now, there are many NFT-related platforms that are already sprouting everywhere. So it means, most of them will be useless in the future. So you need to choose wisely where you want to acquire your NFT items. But I do believe that it will last long as it has real use case like in NFT games and NFT collectibles from known artists and personalities.
It is natural to see many jumping into a trend and that is what we are seeing with large number of NFT projects and some of the them will be successful but majority will die off if they are not able to fulfill the needs of the end user. I am watching a few projects that are promising use case of these NFT they are launching and if they do that then it will be really interesting and time will tell what will be the future.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: October 25, 2021, 11:03:20 PM
This was great Bellator event to watch that proved 45 year old Fedor Emelianenko still got the magic touch, he was so fast and won by KO in first round.
One more good thing for Fedor is that all his team members won their respective fights, maybe it was because of support from Russian supporters.
Next Bellator 270 event Pitbull vs. Queally 2 is scheduled for November 5 in Dublin.
Fedor Emelianenko can win against non championship caliber fights and keep on winning, he is 45 years old and i am not expecting him to make money nor get into any serious fight against any tough opponents at this age. Not sure how long he will be fighting but he is just a shell of his old performance and as long as he is getting opponents that are easy he will keep on fighting.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 25, 2021, 10:44:31 PM
Whether Elon says he owns or not.

You shouldn't be the one that's just waiting for his approval and what to pump.
What you said is the basic common sense but there is a huge fan following who is jumping into anything he says because his FUD has created them wealth. He has done that in the stock market and we know what he used to do in the cryptocurrency market shilling coins and that had huge impact on the market he is advertising simply because his followers are purchasing anything he says in large quantities.

Abu Dhabi UAE is really stunning and the thing I like and what I miss was the fight island where the ring is at the seashore, it is really beautiful to watch and I think when fighters would surely love getting back there that vibe and feeling,
The fight island looks cool but majority of the fighters flying from US and surrounding countries will not be liking the long flights as it would take sometime to get rid of the jet lag and then get accumulated to the weather condition. The hospitality is world class and if not for the long and tiring travel they would enjoy fighting in the UAE.

Well, the fighters that I think would dominate inside the octagon, but this is not my final pick but will still be looking at all the nook and crannies of all fighters, 1st for me is Jan Blachowicz, Islam Makhachev, Khamzat Chimaev, and lastly will be the beautiful Amanda Ribas.
Jan Blachowicz, Islam Makhachev, Khamzat Chimaev looks like a good parlay to bet, have to check their opponents and finally glad to see  Khamzat Chimaev return after a long break.

I think Hardik is getting unjust criticism, there were 10 other members in team also that didn't performed well. IMO, Pakistan was just a better side then India yesterday. India team selection is perfect and they will perform well in remaining matches.
This was an upset to many and they way in which Pakistan handled the win is commendable. This is the first time i am watching Pakistan performing like they belong in world cricket as a strong force, they fielded well and they way they were taking those catches and stopping the boundaries were incredible and after the match the sportsmanship they displayed is incredible. There will be many salty Indian fans who will find a scapegoat for the loss and it is not surprising Cheesy.
