hope price will recover, it's a nice coin and I am going to hold it for longer term.

I think the byteball is a good coin as it has good community support. Many are bitcoin holders.

Richer get richer.  Grin Grin Grin

So you have to buy bitcoin first to get rich.

If you buy GBYTE you will benefit more from the airdrops....

Try not to forget, This is GENTLEMEN!
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is once again $2580 on: July 20, 2017, 02:39:47 PM
hahaha that's what im talking about. that's why i never sell my bitcoin because my bitcoin is protected when august 1st happen. all you need to be scared of is you bitcoin bank or bitcoin third party app. where you stored your bitcoin. if you want to know what it is. you can read admin theymos news about it . if you have a trezor or other hardware wallet. youcan store your bitcoin there so it will be safe before august 1st come.

but why doesn't anyone want to sell before 1st of august and buy back later? seems like a solid plan. the real moon rally won't begin before we get bigger blocks anyway.

on the other hand, I'm keeping my BTC right now because I expect a pump before the dump. some whale most definitely dumps on the 1st of august or a day before it.

everyone wants a coin on both chains ,if you sell it now some whale will buy yr coins and there no guarantee you will be able to buy them back at all .........
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 20, 2017, 02:09:20 PM
What exactly is the byteball trading confirmation time? Some people say it's seconds, but my deal pending for 5 hours In the byteball unreliable?  Time spent is slower than other coin!!!!!

Byteball transaction gets confirmed as soon as another transaction comes on top of yours. In your case, there likely is a problem with connection between your device and a hub.

what is a hub?

It's like a full node

WTF is going on. 2600 and rising?!

Everyone knows you need your btc BEFORE 1st August.....

wallet.dat is the most important or send your coins to a new device wallet or even an exchange if your hardware  about to die
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 19, 2017, 05:10:42 AM
guys . stop selling you chickens. unbelievable. this coin is one of the best projects in my opinion.

dump the other shit and hold this coin!

It doesn't matter what you think or what you want.
This is not how it works. Don't fight the market! You will always lose that way.
So sit it out, hold the coins you have if you believe in it's success and try to take advantage of the actual circumstances and maybe buy more if you can or just sell and relax. Anything else will just make you go crazy in your head. Not healthy I can tell!

The low price now is probably a good opportunity, but all depends on the bitcoin, which is the king of the cybercurrency.

Take it as a buying opportunity .......It wont last
People now are lucky because these prices will rise exponentially after year 1

ANN Airdrop Round 5

Please note you can claim your free Bitcore on http://bitcore.cc/

We pay on the next Monday 3 % to your Balance BTX.
The minimum Amount is 10 BTX.

The Airdrop Address 2 is 175WUjungSYtiFTfojFX8S8SHeNbiC6RKe.

Example
You have 100 BTX  = 3 BTX

Dear Limx Dev,
Will you pay a percentage even to those who did not get into the top 1000?
Thank you!

Yes, we have removed the top 1000 rule. Jon has written a new tool for that. The api of chainz is now no longer required.

Unfortunately you listend to the poor. Now there is no motivation left to buy BTX to get into the top 1000. I'm out for now.

This has just lowered the minimum bar for entry from 62+ BTX to 10+ BTX
more than half of the world are in the so called "poor" countrys so more people can particpate now they dont need $150 to get on the ladder

which predictions for BTX after 1 August?
After 1 August 1 BTX will be worth about 12 BTC.
This is best of the best prediction. Grin

Get them while they're still cheap gentlemen...
Its still possible to become a btx whale...  Cool
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 18, 2017, 12:55:27 PM
I don't care if Tezos will be dumped X5 below the ICO price because I'm not in for a quick profit. If  find it more cheaper on exchanges I will buy even more and hodl for 1yr minimum.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement without knowing how the team will perform. That's what I'm waiting to see.

This thread is a glorified  circle jerk...
Aha, Fuck it.
Tezos to the mooooooooooooooooooonnnnn!  Grin

131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 17, 2017, 04:35:13 PM
When the hardfork issue, bitcoin prices drop and I think they move to various altcoins including monero, but why altcoin prices also go down?

Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrency
if btc falls 5% shitcoins fall 10-20% lol

thats why its funny people think they would be safely diversified in shitcoins if btc ever  went to zero  Cheesy

I'm holding my coins on cryptopia's wallet. is a problem for the airdrop?

yes
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: July 17, 2017, 01:42:00 PM
The coin will live! Now the entire market of crypto currency is falling in price. You just need to wait for stabilization. Time to buy more!
----
Any news ?
No bro seems this coin has started to die if not immediately held a new action

buy on the way down ,dont wait until it starts mooning or you will pay too much
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 15, 2017, 10:12:32 AM
I had a look at the transition page to see the amount of bitcoins linked. It has dropped from 949k during the previous round to 819k currently.
Looks like people have moved their bitcoins around quite a bit. Or maybe some have sold out their coins due to the current uncertainty.

I think many people are selling btc for fiat because btc will drop to 1300 usd in the next 14days.

fork is cominng
I thought it was excessive, I'll buy some of the bitcoin if prices drop to $1300. But I hope this does not affect the price of byteball.

lol..after the end round bb will dip at 1$  Cheesy..this communauty is the worst than i never view on this forum..they all think that all is their due when it is nothing..they will be the biggest loser because they have swollen with pride.

you should probably see a Dr about that....
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's time to re-invest on: July 15, 2017, 10:07:48 AM
I know all of this, but in the end confidence dwarfs everything else.  I believe Aug.1 will have little to no impact, and especially true if the balls gets rolling by then.  How do you think some of us saw this coming in the first place while most people denied it?... then blamed us for warning people and "creating hype".

People even blamed me for trying to peddle my own warez people I recommended people to buy gold coins and get them slabbed & certified to sell for a profit, lol... as if I own a coin store or something (I don't, btw).  Just giving advice on how to make gold make some quick gains instead of just sitting stagnant.  These days investing in gold isn't much better than just putting your money in the bank.  Well... at least back when you actually gained interest worth a darn on your money.

Anyhow I did what I told others to do, made a bit, and am re-investing every red cent back into BTC now that I see the price hovering around 2100.  I waited a week after the Alphabay debacle to see what (if any) effect it would have on BTC.  The answer = little to none.  That's another testament to just how capable it is of weathering any potential storm, just like the one a few months back when many expected a steep drop only to see it stabilize again quickly around 22-2300.

It's not going anywhere.  Practically every institution that accepts credit cards accepts BTC these days.  And the ATM's aren't going anywhere either.  Those who wait until Aug 9'th or whatnot to see what kind of effect this next storm has will wish they'd had the confidence they lacked when the price was sitting around 900/share, and be asking themselves once again...  "Is it too late now".

Aha, I thought I was the only one who understood that
Looks like there are two of us...
C u on the moon!  Wink

plenty of time for price discovery after the distribution ...
dumpers will be regretters so it helps anyone who wants to be whale later  can buy in cheap now  Wink
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL on: July 14, 2017, 08:37:27 AM
I had sold some of my bitcoins earlier but I have still some in my cold storage.

I will let those remaining bitcoins I've to be hold for better and will just hold it further more.

I'll wait until the price gets at $5,000 or $10,000 before selling it.

I'll not be touching my cold storage until $100k
Hodl to the brink of death...

You sure about that $100k? You will be having a long journey until waiting for that time.

With the current price I had still enough for profit taking already and I won't be feeling sorry on it.

Will wait for sometime after these drama's are already done.

Ive waited since 2011
I can wait until 2031 or whenever....

It has? Yet when I asked a simply question it got ignored as if I was not serious with my inquiry about the wallet syncing.

Most of people here are traders, they don't know such things. I suggest you not to stop the syncing, I did it and was stuck in endless DB compacting loop.
Ah okay. Did not realize almost all people who collect byteball here are traders and do not have the time nor the know how on what they actually did when they installed the wallet months ago. Which would of taken no time at all to sync since it just started in November 2016 from when I recall seeing it advertised in a signature campaign for the first time.
I will take your advice and not stop it because then I would end up with the same problem and the five days of endlessly syncing would be for nothing. Undecided

Thanks for the valuable information about this.
Since I wasted alot of electricity and also warring out my hard drive read and write times doing this syncing process. Embarrassed

I could help you, but you have an attitude problem so I won't bother...

I wonder if airdrops occurred at random times, would it have made the value go up more.

random airdrops would kill  it imo
people use their btc for margin funding on exchange loans and some people sell their altcoins to get more bitcoins and then rebuy each month
no matter what happened people would say it wasnt fair and that some had insider information earlier than others etc
and exchanges would probably keep more too because they could have higher balances in  cold wallets we likely dont know about claiming more free Gbytes with customers bitcoins
