121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JASMY - worth investing? on: June 01, 2024, 04:59:15 PM

this is not the first that the Japanese have a coin for their people though. i remember Noah coin but it turned out that coin was a scam. So we shall see.

Jasmy however has been around in one crypto cycle so this had survived one wave of bull and bear season which is considerably a big milestone for this project. the main point is that, this hasn't turned out to be a scam.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be aware that the government and the haters envies your progress on BTC on: June 01, 2024, 04:35:53 PM

you are too anonymous to be envied actually. suppose there is anyone really going to be envied by someone because they dislike BTC. In that case, they might be targeting people who are more popular than us users here in the forum, like Michael Saylor. or some other OGs that turned youtube influencers.

i think they already have 1 such as Roger Ver. although that guy has serious addiction to forking BTC, he definitely has success in doing it.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How could i found a legit project? on: June 01, 2024, 03:59:02 PM

if it's a new project, you just can't find out until you already lost the money. your option is to just invest in the tokens that are already listed in the exchanges and the project has already been running for years.

you couldn't trust any projects today even the new exchanges with a token that appears legit. if they are desperate to spam the forum, then they probably have a hard time getting clients onto their platform.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JASMY - worth investing? on: May 31, 2024, 08:29:55 PM
i thought the token was a memecoin as was promoted by one influencer on youtube. i got used to watching influencer promoting memecoins already that every time i see them shill something i now assume its another memecoin.

just today i can see its growth up to 55.11%, what a pump.
seem not too late to join the party. its ATH in the previous bull market was $0.27. so it must be a good token.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Labor is really the birth of happiness? on: May 31, 2024, 07:00:03 PM

the lack of opportunity is always the cause. if a farmer only has the opportunity to sell their products straight to the end users and will not go through a lot of bureaucracy and middlemen, they may succeed and will be able to let their sons and daughters be agriculture engineers who may be able to experiment a variety of plants that will bear fruits every month.

laborers have to also be resourceful to succeed. ambitions are always going to make a person look into the future.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's use the cryptocurrencies and blockchain techology for good idea on: May 31, 2024, 04:48:05 PM

blockchain is already used for good. memecoins are just for fun.
if big projects can't even do it. memecoins will also be that way. memecoins are for quick bucks only, the only reason why its there on top is due to the hype that regular people can actually buy billions of memecoins for less than $100.

the idea is good but then anyone who earns a few bucks after investing in memecoin, will dump it all and move on to another memecoin.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you feel that the global economy is declining? on: May 31, 2024, 04:31:10 PM
Global economy has been declining for a long time now, but the rate of decline is not very fast which is the silver lining. This situation could reverse in the future, but that requires cooperation between all major powers across the world.

Unnecessary wars need to stop, annoying new viruses like COVID should not be born, all countries just work together to battle climate change etc for the situation to reverse.

unfortunately, this is not happening. there is even growing support for nuclear war which is the end of us all. there is no adult in the room that will make those leaders see they are heading to a full-blown war and not even a proxy anymore.

i guess the 3rd world country has been in this situation for a long time already and they are already used to poverty. i'm not sure how those rich countries will survive if they are in such condition that even their toilet paper is 2x its previous price.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest problem is that stablecoins usdt and usdc only few blockchains on: May 31, 2024, 04:11:07 PM
But for now tron, solana and ton are really with most use cases becouse those blockchains are everywhere.

Those smartchain networks are not just everywhere; they also offer low transaction fees and high transaction costs, which is why I think people are using them regularly. For me, I have not used the Solana network to receive USDT, but I have used Tron, Polygon, and BSC, and currently, what I am using is the AVAX chain. All the while I have been using AVAX, the transaction fee is much less than BSC and Tron, and that's why I keep on using it. It is also fast and gives me the result I want. Apart from the Sol and Tron that you think are majorly popular, BSC is also very popular.

tron used to be the cheapest but it's gradually increasing its transaction fees. SOL and MATIC aren't very popular when it comes to sending stablecoin but BSC is the most common, we can see some campaigns in the forum rewarding USDT in BEP20. and its cheaper than in TRON as well. that's just what i noticed.

even withdrawing USDT BEP20 on several exchanges is cheaper than any other chain. i don't know how long it will stay this way with BSC but it's better to use it while its cheaper.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non custodial staking on: May 31, 2024, 03:54:14 PM
Hello everyone,

I heard that it is possible to stake with my own wallet.
This seems to provide you the best of two worlds: you
keep control of your funds and you earn rewards with
them. That being said, the only info i can get on this
is: "Non-custodial staking is more complicated and requires
technical skills and blockchain knowledge that is beyond
most beginners".

Can someone elaborate or give a link for a better
understanding?

Thanks a lot:)

Depends on what asset you want to stake. Moreover, sometimes you need to stake it via the smart contract, so please, give some more exact information!

i see it that way too. there are certain token that you can stake on your wallet only and earn tokens through it. one token I held for a moment was Cardano (ADA) which you can stake inside your wallet, you just have to delegate your wallet to a pool. and then you can receive some ADA every week. of course the more you have then the more you get every week as well. that's sort of how it works.

130  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Zeusmix — instant cryptocurrency exchange. No registration or KYC required. on: May 30, 2024, 08:54:01 PM

welcome to bitcointalk.org
this is a cool exchange. this should be the kind of exchange that is promoted widely but i think there will be transparency if we can see the SAFU, how do we know the exchange has BTC to send?

but wouldn't this be considered a mixer in the forum and we all know mixers are already banned here. hope not since they are already up to promote the exchange thru signature.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: The attractiveness of Bitcoin among my friends on: May 30, 2024, 08:26:18 PM
A lot of people will definitely be interested in it of course, there isn't really anything so wildly uninvestable about bitcoin and because of this there will be a lot of people who will want to invest as much as they possibly could to make this work, that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with nothing, I am just looking for a way to make it work one way or another, and that could definitely change things.

In the end, I feel like if you keep talking about it, of course others will want to join. I just don't do it because I feel like it is going to be quite difficult on the long run when the price falls and they are talking to you about when it will bounce back, I can't take that pressure and nagging in my life to deal with others.

not a good feeling when you are blamed for thier loss. the only people i have tried persuading to just put a little money on BTC are my immediate family my brothers and sisters but before i ever convince them, i even gave them BTC first because i don't want them to look at me like i'm trying to scam them.

i wanted them to learn the alternative which they can use the local BTC wallet to pay for what they can buy in some stores. and the advantage with BTC especially when they invest at the right time.
132  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Dethrone the Dollar on: May 30, 2024, 06:57:29 PM
The USD will fail as the World Reserve Currency in the next 100-150 years but it’s not going anywhere for a while. You can protect yourself against its obvious failures though by regularly buying & holding Bitcoin. Protect your purchasing power by opting out of the system.

it's not going to fail since people are using it and they dependent on USD, it's just going to be upgraded to stablecoin i think. easier to be used for all even the bankless.
the world is better when USD exists. just imagine those who are from the 3rd world countries going to the US and earning USD and they have to send it back to their country, its value will be greater at home. but its purchasing value in the US is very much affected.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchanges Nowadays on: May 30, 2024, 06:31:41 PM
CoinBase was good enough even then if you want to shift I think you can explore Binance and also the kucoin these two cex are going good now. I already used to with Binance for my trading and have know issues. Even then I want to say that always be careful and updated when you used a cex.
Most people have an account on Binance because this is one of the exchanges that many users including me often trade by finding good prices on this exchange, so indeed for trading then choose Binance but never store for long.

But I now prefer to use local exchanges this makes it easier for us to find crypto to fiat, but to find trading then look for global exchanges like Binance.

not sure if OP has replied in the thread since the last time he logged in mid-May. but if he just search i think he can find his way to Binance. he sounds very old Bitcoin user since he mentioned the old exchanges that were also shut down for years.

he does have coinbase though, he must be a US citizen which means he already has an account with the biggest exchange there. old user from old exchanges, he probably hasn't submitted KYC to any of the exchanges which he should be choosing wisely like DEX.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchange tokens or Crypto Wallet Tokens?? on: May 30, 2024, 05:42:24 PM

exchange token is somewhat like being manipulated. if it's still alive in the memory of the crypto traders, FTT went down from $73 to less than $1. so if an exchange like Bitget suddenly just comes out of nowhere and then adds lots of coins, it wouldn't be crazy to believe this is something the same as FTX.

and then the coming regulation/bill that crypto wallets going to be asking for KYC, it might just be a warning to you before considering to use the wallet.
this makes me think of just using the one exchange where i have submitted my data.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden team shift their tones on Bitcoin & cryptocurrency market on: May 30, 2024, 04:34:19 PM

they race to win the presidency so taking the safer route to get votes will be what's best for the two. congress however are doing everything to submit bills that are not going to help the crypto holders. in time and whichever wins this election, they will still approve those bills like custodial wallets will be asking KYC to its users for tax purposes. in the end, it's just like saying something good for crypto but doing the exact opposite.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kabosu (Doge) passed away. on: May 30, 2024, 06:33:43 AM
RIP Kabosu. been days since he is dead but i think there was a mention of his death in the Doge thread. in altcoinstalk, they changed the logo everything theres a meaninglful things happen so its hard to miss such details.

here in BTT, some users may even be surprised to know that doge is actually a real dog and his name is Kabosu. if Shib is derived from doge, i guess Shib is still him.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are undervalued in 2024? on: May 30, 2024, 06:28:30 AM
This is al time ADA chart. The coin has been dumping so crazily. it seems ADA will never reach that the new ATH again. This blockchain is so fucking boring. It keeps lose its users, the daily activity on the blockchains have been declining so hard. Impossible for ADA to recover again like 2021 bullrun.

ADA holders must be so dump enough to keep hold their coins while so many coins are increasing drastically. I think that many people are also aware about this coin is nothing happening with ADA.

The problem with ADA is that it's quite slow in terms of development and innovation. It's not as overhyped as Solana or Ethereum. Because of this, ADA has been unable to reach a new ATH in price. At least, Cardano is more reliable and decentralized than Solana. It can compete directly against Ethereum if developers keep it that way.

With ETFs taking the crypto world by storm, it's possible we'll see Cardano ETFs in the future. The sky is the limit to how far will the cryptocurrency go. Hopefully, people recognize the hidden potential in undervalued coins someday.  Undecided

Charles has to.open the cardano for USDT whales, those companies like Tether and Circle wants control of their stablecoin. if Charles is not allowing them because of his belief in decentralization, ADA may really have a slow crawl to its higher price per token.

it may also have a hard time getting ETFs. but i do think ADA is also undervalued.

138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEER 🍻 MEMECOIN, will this narrative fly? on: May 29, 2024, 09:07:13 PM

whatever pops in there if the meme party sees it's worth funding, it could be profitable. but maybe this time you should be choosing the popular memecoins only. you are the only one who knows this BEER yet. the team is just selling all those tokens from their wallet from the blind investors buying this new memecoin.

if you have millions to billions of memecoins, you probably should stop already.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: UK brexit and rejoin with Europe and economy on: May 29, 2024, 04:51:35 PM
It was bad move go out of Europe.
It's not that simple. The only thing you can say for sure is that things didn't go according to plans.

You have to go back to pre-Brexit time. They were already planning to start the war with Russia according to US orders. So UK needed to get out of EU to decrease the effects of that war on EU members' economies. They were basically hoping to not experience an economic and energy crisis of their own while entire EU did. Then later on they could come back to EU as the "victors" and take the leadership and revive a tiny part of the dead "empire" that way.

Little did they know UK would experience the same economic and energy crisis as the rest of the EU even when they existed the coalition. On top of that they experienced more crisis due to the exit itself.
This is why things didn't go according to plan and now it seems like a bad move.

there is no escape to this economic and energy crisis as it seems made up and they are making it worse with all the wars. they are not even sanctioned. but it looks like Brexit is part of the plan for this coming crisis after all. Geographically, the UK is like Taiwan for the EU. in case the EU responds in a manner that doesn't follow orders, i guess the independence of the UK comes in handy.

i don't know if it's possible to rejoin. not all country has the freedom to do what they want. my country has independence day but still no freedom.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: May 29, 2024, 04:25:19 PM

while we are at this thread.
may i just ask why is it that projects and casinos keep advertising here in bitcointalk and other crypto forums when they should be advertising somewhere else after all crypto is already becoming mainstream?  don't you think it's about time to spread the wings and fly away?  Grin  and i mean if i own a casino/bookmaker. it would make sense to advertise in sports forum, right?
