1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Bingo on: November 07, 2022, 11:24:22 PM

So what's the catch here of creating this topic? What are the concerns? What is about to discuss?

Just want to share our thoughts on Bingo? Well, to begin with, I'm really an enthusiast of playing bingo for a long. In fact, I'm just nearby in a mall where there is a bingo hall. I even lured some of my friends that are not into gambling to play bingo online. The reason is, it's just cheap, to begin with.

Since everything is now digital, the traditional bingo that used to be a pastime before is not present anymore.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 07, 2022, 11:19:16 PM
More traditional Casinos too shifted their services online.

I don't think that most traditional casinos shifted their service online during the pandemic.

Instead of doing that, they just accept the fact that can't operate until further notice, and to reduce the cost of the operation, they lay off some of their employees.

If I missed something here, can you give examples of those traditional casinos that shifted their service online just to cope with the financial situation?
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 07, 2022, 10:57:16 PM
With all 30 NBA teams playing tonight, I urge everyone to put a few satoshis on a 15 game parlay. Granted, nobody will hit it, but if by some miracle someone did get all 15 games right, that would be one hell of a win. Worth tossing a few satoshis at. I can’t remember the last time I saw all 30 NBA teams playing on one night, but it certainly doesn’t seem common. Take advantage!

I already tried lots of times betting on a 4-5 game parlay with "only favorites" and most bets failed lol. That's why just imagine how difficult it is for a 15-game parlay even let's say just tossing a few satoshis and will choose odds playing around @1.1 - @1.3 for a quite a good chance of hitting those.

Maybe it's better to consider not only Favorite but also try to pick a good-worthy handicap bet or O/U totals.

Anyways, good luck to those who will do that.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 07, 2022, 10:50:19 PM
I will really hate him and go into a rage, he did not respect me for doing that,  that is once in a lifetime and your friend just blew it, this is why you don't tag your friends when you're betting in a casino, it's a life-changing win and you and your friend who will not be your friend anymore will haunt that memory for the rest of your life and its hard to make up with your friend after what happened, but maybe time can erase the memory.

It depends. What if the other way around happened? Anyways, it's really hard to assume what will be the exact thing that might happen because I don't see it happening in real life. Our accompanied friend or someone, while we are in a casino, is not that dumb to just moves chips while the spin is currently in motion where in fact, it's not even allowed to do some actions while in that phase. That was embarrassing.

Because of that movie, OP gives us a problem to think about.  Cheesy
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 07, 2022, 10:39:54 PM
When i cane back they  closesd he casino they lucky to close before i play again i had all my adrelaine and mood to win and bankrupt them.
Tomorrow i visit them again and take what is mine.

What an arrogant gambler lol. I hope you will successfully make them bankrupt once you visit them again.

Your $1,000 is not enough to bankrupt them. They have lots of money in reserves.

Next time, can you create a much more realistic story? Anyways, can you update us tomorrow about what will happen to your plan? Smiley
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 06, 2022, 11:45:16 PM
Online gambling and lottery have worst odds, players usually prefer sports betting due to the better chances of winning. I don't know what is exact house edge on lottery games but casino games have about 3-4% edge, sports betting is best shot for majority due to the mentioned reason, IMO.

Also the fact that standard casino games all have the same odds, whereas in sports bets different casinos will end up having different odds for each team.

It's pretty obvious what's the difference between the odds of sports betting and usual casino games.

However, there are really gamblers who luckily hit some good wins playing casino games that's why they think the probability to win here is much better compared to sports betting or strategy-based games.

Well then, let's just allow them to have thoughts like that until....
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 06, 2022, 11:43:07 PM
That's a 19 points comeback as far as I know, so we cannot blame the supporter of SMB for throwing that rumors because we all know they are sister company and both on the lower standing.

Even for let's say magic will be applied for BGSM to win, it's hard to do it behind a 19-point comeback.

It's just that SMB choked on that game and when BGSM is now doing some rally, they don't even know what to do.

Too much confidence and I doubt Justin Brownlee himself will be a fan of this "Sagip Kapamilya" scheme. SMB losses and fans need to move on.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 06, 2022, 11:35:28 PM
It's not that far from the last weight division where Casimero became a champ, he can still move the same and his fighting skills especially his speed is still applicable though the opponents strength might be tougher from this new weight but proper adjustments and enough trainings and sparring may let Casimero to stand out and bring the win.

I'm expecting Casimero to be like that. No offense to Akaho but this should be an easy fight for Casimero.

If we can expect a 100% healthy Casimero like the way he performed as a WBO Bantamweight Champion, I'm seeing no reason how Akaho can keep up against him. However, if there will be an upset here (and I'm not ruling out that),, and let's say Akaho got the win, Casimero needs to deeply think about what the problem is.
1209  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 05, 2022, 10:17:26 PM
Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?

I don't consider it a trend but it's just that the number of companies entering the crypto-gambling grows over years.

That was a usual and expected growth since the gambling industry is one of the biggest industries in the world.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?

Obviously, no. There are lots of active sections here aside from the gambling section.

It's just that you mostly lurk here in this section that's why you have noticed that might be the busiest section here and considered already the whole forum as a gambling forum.

Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

No one knows. Just go with the flow, mate. Smiley
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 05, 2022, 10:10:59 PM

What an impressive performance is again shown by Converge last night.

They played without an import the whole second half and still, dominate the NLEX Road Warriors by a big lead. What's more, if their import, Quincy Miller, is able to play the whole game, we might expect that a much big lead happened.

Converge Head Coach Ayo is already showing his coaching skills. He knows well how to rotate his players and almost the entire active roster on that game was given a good playing time. We often don't see a coach using all the entire players in a game with provided good playing time.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 05, 2022, 10:00:46 PM
But I'm just curious regarding on his weight, any news about him? It's so unlikely that we're not getting any news from him, I just wanna know if he's still struggling to get the required weight in this division.

He only struggled to maintain weight at around 118 lbs therefore at 122-125 lbs, there should be at least no problem.

Not that much news about him because we can fairly assume that this fight is not really a big fight to consider.

Maybe a few days or weeks before the fight, we can at least see some local sports news giving pre-match analysis on this fight.

1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 05, 2022, 09:57:09 PM
^^ Good to hear that Filipino boxers are going to be included in this fight.

Unfortunately, PH Jerald Paclar loses in his match against Kal Yafai via Unanimous Decision. Paclar has a high chance of getting the win as he dominated the early rounds but Yafai managed to get back on track and settle the match in his favor.

On the other hand, another PH boxer on the undercard, John Lawrence Ordonio upset his opponent, Majid Al Naqbi via Unanimous Decision. Referring to the final score, Ordonio dominates the entire match even in the pre-match, he was the underdog in this fight.

The main event, Bivol vs Ramirez is now currently in action.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 05, 2022, 09:46:55 PM
But my perception is that this was already on this plan from the start and probably lowering staff will be the first step and then taking a loan.

I think that situation happened mostly at land-based casinos and not at some online casinos.

In terms of operation cost and expense, it's no doubt that operating land-based casinos are far more costly. And because there's no way that these physical casinos will make money during the pandemic, no choice but to decrease their manpower to save some operational expenses.

Moving forward, now that most physical casinos are now back in action, surely they can keep up now with those big losses from now on.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 05, 2022, 09:39:05 PM

That Bivol winning via TKO is also attractive. Hard to decide but I think that might be the best bet based on my own preference.

From @4.90 yesterday, the odds of Dmitry Bivol winning by TKO now jumps to @6.2. Don't know the reason for the big leap and it seems that bookies think that the possibility of that happening becomes slimmer.

Regardless, I placed my bet on that as planned from the beginning.

The fight is now approaching. The countdown is around 5 minutes as of this post.
1215  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 05, 2022, 09:32:46 PM

That's really a set of good advice however we should not have the mindset that doing that, it's the road to becoming rich.

The key here is proper financial management and that's necessary to avoid a financial crisis in the future.

I will rephrase it to "5 things you should consider doing with your money to avoid major financial problems".
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 05, 2022, 09:29:35 PM
Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you

Honestly speaking, even with no shared big winning experience, I have lots of friends who got involved in gambling because they saw me doing that. It's not that technically I'm the reason but maybe they become curious because of the joy I'm expressing every time a winning story is shared regardless of how much it is.

Have you ever taught or predicted a game for someone which turn out to be a win,how big was it ?

Even if I want to, I like to allow them to make the final decision on their own based on what they think.

I will give pointers but not to the point I will try to influence their decision.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: November 05, 2022, 08:26:00 PM
I dont need your advice how dangerous those channels or groups are i know myself just Im looking For good pmpp channels.

Sorry but the majority here considered signal groups and channels as crappy groups.

Since you don't welcome the advice of others about how risky these groups are, then maybe you are in the wrong place to ask that question.

Go on some shillers group and ask questions there. That kind of group doesn't have a good reputation here.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 05, 2022, 08:22:54 PM

Should be common to think that there's no way to find out that investors are leaving on that mentioned chains.

Besides, should be a common practice already that filtering the news we encounter should start with us. While browsing and lurking in the crypto world, we should be vigilant if we will believed in certain news or not.

Might be hard for newbies to determine if the news is sh*t or not but sooner or later, they will be soon used to it.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 04, 2022, 11:07:45 PM
How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?

Big problems occur but there's always time to recover from it. And besides, online gambling becomes a trendy activity during the pandemic that's why I believed they didn't really suffer a financial crisis during that time as they able to cover those supposed profits in sports betting which was not present at that time. Now that the world is now recovering from what the pandemic bring, expect that currently, these gambling companies now able to sustain their operation as usual.

As the famous line says; "Business as usual".
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 04, 2022, 11:04:20 PM

I'm surprised here that Spence Jr. still not yet giving much detailed content about why the fight failed to materialize. Being silent is not a good thing for me unless he himself is part of that failed negotiation. Moving forward, Crawford now finally moved on and now chooses to sign another fight.

But we don't know if the negotiation about this fight against Spence will resume next year now that Crawford already witnessed what happened in their first negotiation. Should be one of the biggest fight this year but unfortunately, we might not witnessed it anymore.
