Having said that, it is possible that Ronaldo would no longer play at the top/elite level again, maybe there isn't a big club that wants to pay his huge wages again, so another possibility is for Ronaldo to move to a less competitive league (maybe in Saudi Arabia) that will offer him far more than what he is receiving at the moment (in terms of salary/wages), so he could go there, make tons of money, finish his club career with little or no pressure, and be happy, the only thing is that he will be away from the spotlight, and that is one thing Ronaldo would struggle to give up (the spotlight), we'll find out what happens next after the WC.

I definitely agree with you, Looking at Ronaldo right now I still see this much of energy and eagerness to continue playing football,  maybe till 40 years. If actually he wants to be or play in most recognized league in the world, then best thing he should do is to consider taking paycuts, so clubs will be able to pay his wages, because right now at his age he should be playing for pleasure and to stay fit too not for money, he has achieved almost everything he needs to achieve both in his career and otherwise.

Everyone knows the eagerness of Ronaldo to continue playing football maybe for two or more years but no one seems to understand the notion of the superstar. Age is no longer on his side but money has never been the reason why he hasn't been linked to other top clubs in Europe, Ronaldo is willing to accept a pay cut but he wants to play for a team in the Champions League and he wants to be a regular starter in the team because he believes that he's got a lot to offer in the field if given the opportunity and that was why he was pushing for a move to Napoli but the deal wasn't a success.

Ronaldo has got some notable achievements playing football that's why he isn't playing in Saudi Arabia right now if he's looking for money then I see nothing stopping him from accepting the offer last season when he was offered a contract.

Some comments from managers of other clubs have shown a different picture here. Ronaldo seems to have been brought into discussion by his own manager at other clubs, but all of them immediately declined because they said there is no way they can handle the salary. Saying that it wasn't about the money for Ronaldo really goes a bit too far. If that was the case I am sure there could have been a solution where he buys himself out of his own contract. As far as I know that has happened before with other players, although I can't recall exactly.

UAE   0 : 5 Argentina

Enjoyed Argentina vs UAE friendly so far. Argentina's players have performed very well. Argentina won a great 5-0. Di Maria's performance was excellent. He scored two goals and one assist. On the other hand, Messi scored a goal and an assist. Also the performances of players like De Paul, Otamendi and Allister were very good. In this way, if Argentina is able to continue the performance, then Barcelona will win every match in the group stage. Argentina has talented players in defense, midfield, and forward and all are in good form.

I like how Di Maria played as well, if he plays like that in the tournament that would boost Argentina's chances. Julian Alvarez also played good, he's still getting international experience. Argentina should've played against a better team though, this was not a good test. United Arab Emirates have no quality players. Probably opening game for Argentina will be similar to this friendly. Saudi Arabia is almost same level as UAE, they are just slightly better.

What's great about Di Maria's current shape is that he functions very well along with Messi. They both know each other in and out, Di Maria still has great speed and great precision in his passing and seeking the free space. I am sure we are going to see some great moves by the Argentinian offense. They are for sure a great name again and I hope they'll make it far in this tournament as it it always great to see Messi perform for a long time throughout the tournament. He is thrilled beyond imagination I guess.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shell, enters Bitcoin mining and sponsors Bitcoin conferences on: November 15, 2022, 11:16:47 PM
This is great news for Bitcoin but probably terrible news for at home miners. I don’t think anyone will be able to compete with companies like Shell, Exxon, etc. They have access to energy at prices we could only dream of and will likely pressure Bitcoin mining operations in places with cheap power and older equipment. I think we might be seeing the final evolution stage of Bitcoin mining.

But assuming that happens and energy companies build like sort of a cartel and centralize mining significantly, would there be any reasonable solution to counter that and update the protocol to prevent dangerous degrees of centralization from happening (especially when it were to happen out of a sudden and energy companies fire up their rigs in concert)?

Though I would still wonder what the overall availability of mining equipment is? Chips are rare these days anyway and producing an amount of hash power like out of nowhere even with old equipment could perhaps be less of a threat than one would think.

Regardless of the outcome, I would still say that it is also kind of a legitimization that can have a positive influence and be protective in favor of Bitcoin when it comes to regulation or even soft ban considerations by the respective governments.

~snip~
That's one reasonable way to look at it. The more obvious high quality games are exciting to look forward to, but I wouldn't say that the Netherlands will easily beat Senegal either. It reminds me of the Cup in 2014 and Argentina in group F. They won against Bosnia-Herzgowina 2:1, against Iran 1:0 in the 90th+1 minute, and against Nigeria in a sweat with 3:2. Most people would think that the team, which then made it to the final, should have won the group with ease, but those games could have gone either way. I think that almost every group is also set up such that there might be very surprising results waiting for us. Germany didn't pass the group stage at the 2018 Cup in a seemingly doable group. I look forward to a lot of those games.
Argentina and Brazil qualified to this world cup without losing a single match. And the South American qualification is extremely tough. It's full of great teams.

That tells you that those 2 squads are at an extremely high level, and there's no chance that either of them will not go to the next round.

Although I also believe that they will make it through relatively easily, there are lots of examples when teams played a perfect qualification and still got kicked out during the group stage at the World Cup. There is no guarantee as you put it saying that there is no chance either of them could fail to make it. The odds are clear here, but look back at several World Cups, check the qualifiers and then see how teams got busted during the final group stage. You can get under pressure very quickly by losing the first game in an unlucky way. That is how soccer works and that's great because it is more fun to watch that way.

Holly molly, I think this drama should be end ASAP, I don't want to hear any drama again from Ronaldo and Manchester United. If Ten Hag and his teammates want him out, just go out since there's few clubs still want him although he need to cut his paycheck. Few weeks ago I remember there's a news where the relationship between Ten Hag and Ronaldo already fine, now I heard the opposite thing. If Ronaldo still stay at Manchester United, the drama wouldn't end.
It's good that after saying that, Ronaldo should be removed from the club. No matter how good a player he is, he can't build a team around himself.
The task of the coach is to seek balance and bring victories, if for this, a player like Ronaldo should sit on the bench, because there are better players, then you need to put him on the bench.
Ronaldo is a great player, but he won't replace 11 field players and he only undermines the credibility of the coach with interviews like this.
Nothing good will come out of it.

Ronaldo did have two choices, he could have behaved as a real team player for Manchester United, accepting to be sitting on the bench at times, or behave like a king, but then I suggest you better score two goals per game on average. The way this played out shed some negative light on his career overall. Nobody can take away his successes, his goals and trophies, but this is just not acceptable for someone playing a game where the is a huge number of teammates and staff involved. He is also going at ad hominem when he indirectly calls Rooney an ugly person.

The interview is 90 minutes long and I think the full version will be published on Nov. 16th.

The timing for the interview is also clever because he has nothing to lose anymore. If he becomes a shining star at the cup now, Manchester United is still in a complicated situation. He still wants to go to a club that gives him the chance to win the Champions League. I just can't convince myself of any idea concerning a club who might sign him unless he played an outstanding cup in Qatar because then signing him would also be a smart PR stunt.

His parody interview also is about how much he loves his fans. I don't know what anything he did at Manchester United has to do with loving his fans. He is egoistic. Slapping a mobile phone out of the hands of a 14 year old fan doesn't come across as if he truly loved his fans.

I think we often forget that when you are an alpha male, and you have done a lot of things in your life, which can be worth bragging about, it is possible for you to not handle the lows of your life, very well.

Cristiano Ronaldo is an icon. A hero to a lot of people. And honestly, I don’t think anyone can say anything about his ego because those men who are talking about Cristiano Ronaldo having a big ego, I am quite sure that most of the girlfriends of those people, girlfriends or wives, whatever you say, have much bigger egos compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, by just having a few hundred Instagram followers.

I know that Cristiano Ronaldo has not done anything to deserve the love of Manchester United fans currently, but I think people should understand that this is a phase he’s going through right now. And if people keep talking shit about him, he’s not going to play any better.

I really hope that this is not your line of reasoning... There is a certain level of respect every human being on this planet owes every other human being. It is a question of character. Not a question of achievements and money. Achievements and money can actually evoke your true character in a special way and this is what's happening to Ronaldo.

I don't care about him anyway. I love players who perform well and this is what the true GOAT is doing, namely Messi! There is an exciting time ahead of us to see how he will do at the cup now, but also in the other tournaments especially against Bayern. I really would like to know for how long he can keep going and whether there will be one more transfer in his life.

Let Ronaldo keep going nuts and destroy his legacy at least in regards to his reputation. All he wants is a transfer because he is afraid that Messi keeps scoring and might be overtaking him in the all time goal scorer ranking in the Champions League. Let's soon find out whether he can successfully blackmail Manchester United and force a transfer to a club that is playing in the Champions League...

Cristiano Ronaldo has given an explosive interview with Piers Morgan for TalkTV released by The Sun on Sunday night, criticising Manchester United and Erik ten Hag. Ronaldo: "Disrespectful Manchester United have betrayed me. I've been made black sheep. I don't respect Erik ten Hag". He also said there has been "zero progress" at the club since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in the summer of 2013.

Reading that Crypto.com has of its reserves in Shiba Inu Coin and guess what, they are into trouble right now because of some other meme or trash token (GALA). There was an arbitrage opportunity between exchanges and some people went for it and made lots of money with it. Now Crypto.com froze a ton of accounts, asking customers to pay more than they actually have in their accounts in order to get access to whatever is in their accounts. Worse than that, they are individually negotiating with people about the amounts they need to pay back and sometimes even admit they seem to have wrong numbers in their accounting systems.

The interesting question is actually, why would an exchange complain about customers making arbitrage gains? There aren't many good reasons, but one is that the exchange itself loaded up heavily on that token without disclosing it, intended to manipulate its price and then didn't react quickly enough to sudden arbitrage opportunities when dumps happened elsewhere. Huobi is also involved.

Thank god that Crypto.com has Shiba Coin as part of their reservers, that means we are all safe! Huh Tongue

There is probably a lot more to come over the next weeks and months.

1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 13, 2022, 08:58:14 PM
The last three matches without a win have made Union Berlin's position continue to decline in the standings and instead, Freiburg has managed to penetrate into second place in the standings now and is right below Bayern Munich.
At first Union Berlin competed with Bayern Munich, but now it is Freiburg who has become its replacement. But in reality, there is no team in the Bundesliga that can really disturb Bayern Munich's position at the top of the standings.
Because, if Bayern Munich has returned to the top of the standings, it will be difficult for any team in the Bundesliga to be able to take over the top position.

But apart from the top position in the standings, I personally still regret Union Berlin for not being able to survive at least for the top four, because with this decline in performance it is of course possible for Union Berlin to continue to fall.
Instead of being able to maintain his performance for Union Berlin this season, what has happened is a performance that continues to improve for other teams such as Eintracht Frankfurt. I think it is clear that this is a great performance that Eintracht Frankfurt has, and of course it is progress that can make Eintracht Frankfurt consistent going forward.

Union Berlin has a little crisis and I think this is a much needed break for them. Additional to the bad results are now coming unlucky situations like the early red card. When you get two penalties against you and a red card in the 19th minute, it's probably close to impossible for any team to make a comeback. This shouldn't lower the achievements of Freiburg so far.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 13, 2022, 08:33:57 PM
When I look at the groups, there is no group that I can call the death group. In general, there is a very homogeneous distribution. Of course, we may encounter surprise match results. Because it is in the nature of football. But it is difficult to say which group is more open to surprise results. So I hope to watch a pleasant World Cup.

Argentina have a good squad of football players. And Messi has the chance to crown his career with a World Cup. I hope he doesn't get injured in the tournament. They are my favorite in this tournament.

Actually, the group of death is called the group where there are no clearly defined favorites and outsiders, and when I look at the groups, I see at least several groups where there will be fierce competition between at least three teams. And I'm glad that already at the stage of the group stage we will see such games as Germany - Spain, Belgium - Croatia and some others. A defeat in such a meeting deprives you of the right to make a mistake and further games become nervous.

I look forward to a lot of those games.

CZ is a big irony!
Speaking of CZ, here he is blatantly lying on Twitter and claiming that Binance-owned Trust wallet is open source: https://nitter.it/cz_binance/status/1591804907702874113
As I explain here, Trust wallet is not open source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415683.msg61049268#msg61049268
But hey, what's one more lie to his Twitter followers who just believe his every word without a second thought, just like his proof of reserves bullshit. And speaking of proof of reserves, is it just me or has Binance's proof of reserves page (https://www.binance.com/en/assets-proof) been down since soon after it launched? I'm sure that's not suspicious at all! Roll Eyes

There is a nice video series created on Youtube. It's quite nuts what was going on at FTX. He is even said to have had special accounting software that made sure no warnings are triggered when he makes transactions out of the system and others weren't supposed to get aware of it. He transferred out about $10 billion to Alameda, and did lots of shady stuff here and there.

Now this Tweet is quite interesting and I believe that other exchanges also have a lot of borderline stuff going on for themselves. I'd be surprised if no others fail because of the current market conditions and over leveraged positions. But the video is a real popcorn video. The FTX corporate structure is more complex than the one of Lehman Brothers used to be. He shows a graphic in the video.

1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 08, 2022, 12:45:30 PM
When I saw the results of Round 16's many stunning decisions, I grinned. It will be difficult for the qualifiers. Liverpool might not be in good shape this season, but they shouldn't be underrated. Napoli vs. Frankfurt with Napoli current performance should beat Frankfurt watching their performance in serial A and the other two matches that will be an entertaining are Dortmund vs. Chelsea and PSG playing Bayern. Let's see what each of these teams can do. Man City is playing against Leipzig is a starting bonus for Man City.
Liverpool just an equal opponent to the real madrid. Napoli could win against frankfurt easily without any doubt. The performance from napoli is really good at this moment. All of its players fully balanced in their positions. Even napoli was coming from serie a but it was a perfect team in serie a for now. Frankfurt may go out from the champion league against napoli. I take napoli for that match. I don't expect a lot from dortmund against chelsea. The performance from chelsea was really really bad at this moment in EPL.
It was always facing lose and this might become the end for chelsea in the champion league. The latest result from EPL that makes me doubt about performance of chelsea during champion league against dortmund.
PSG against bayern would become a very interesting thing for sure. Messi and friends must have faced the team that became the toughest team when messi was in barcelona. The chance to win the match against bayern is pretty small.

I would by no means underestimate Frankfurt such as they will be beaten easily by Napoli. I think it is obvious at this point who does have a slight advantage in this match, but still they have shown in international games that they can be very hard to beat. I doubt that this will be an easy dance for Napoli particularly in the away game when Frankfurt has its fans who haven't been able to support their own team in the UEFA Champions League ever before. We have all seen the pictures what those fans are able to pull off. They are among the most supportive fans out there. That can set free quite some strength within the team.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 08, 2022, 12:32:19 PM
Senegal vs. Netherlands on November 21 is catching my attention because they actually play well and because they are the best representation for Africa during this World Cup, I have faith in them to win. Everyone is anxious to know who the winner of the fifa World Cup will be after so many disqualifications and with group A opening the floor and the games starting on November 20th, which is on Sunday. Till then let’s see the out come of the matches when it starts.

Senegal is a good team. They have a few star players such as Sadio Mané, Ismaïla Sarr, Cheikhou Kouyaté and Kalidou Koulibaly. And they are in top form, as seen from the CAF qualifiers. On the other hand, Netherlands are not in great form recently. They have suffered a few upset defeats. And during the 2022–23 UEFA Nations League A, they struggled against team such as Wales (although managing to tip their group). But is this enough for Senegal to pull off an upset? Netherlands are one of the favorites to win the world cup.

As you can see in the FIFA ranking posted below, Senegal has a very good standing right now, also because of winning the African Cup of course. I am not entirely sure how the ranking works and I found some sources stating it is inaccurate for several reasons. Hence I tried to find out when they played against teams from that ranking that are not from Africa and that was the World Cup 2018:

Poland vs. Senegal ended 1:2
Japan vs. Senegal ended 2:2
Senegal vs. Columbia ended 0:1

I'd say that these results do lend some credibility to the ranking as you can see. Columbia hasn't lost games against Brazil or Argentina by more than one goal difference in quite a while. I think Senegal will have its moments at this World Cup and they might be a harder challenge to the Netherlands than many would expect.

1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 07, 2022, 12:51:54 PM
I also personally hope for good things for Argentina in this World Cup. I see the Argentinian team very strong this time. And since this is probably Messi's last World Cup, everyone in the team will want to be World Cup champions this time.
I have always felt a little bit sorry for Messi because even if he had won everything there is to win with Barcelona he has had a lot of problems with his national soccer team, so I am rooting for the Argentinian team during this world cup as they are in the best shape I have seen them, it is unfortunate that Messi is past his prime already, but I am sure that he if can win the world cup he is not going to care at all about this, as the world cup is probably the only trophy he has yet to win.

You and I don't have to feel sorry for Messi, even though he hasn't even lifted a world cup trophy.
as you said, he has had everything throughout his career in football. excuse me! I'm just saying, Argentina won't be champions just by pitying Messi.

he is the holder of the most Ballon d'0r in history, he has a large collection in various events with his club. an achievement that is difficult for any star to pass so far, I don't want to glorify it. due to the fact that he was indeed a megastar, at the end of his career. even though he has gone through his heyday, the talent he has has not disappeared and dimmed like his rivals. proved, his existence with his club PSG became one of the most dangerous key players.

in this most prestigious event, he is once again trying one last time to bring out the best for his teammates and country.
Regarding failure or not, let's leave it to time that will give us the answer.

This is well said. He won't be scoring 50 goals and more in a season anymore, but the way he reads the game and serves his mates is still genius. He turned into a real selfless player. I doubt his role with Argentina will be to score the most goals. It is more about putting his guys into the best position possible. He is still a free kick master. He can still score amazing goals. Whether he wins the championship or not doesn't change his status as the GOAT in my opinion.
1236  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs Cannot Save Weak Currencies on: November 07, 2022, 12:35:22 PM
The only advantage of CBDC is that it reduces the fees for printing money and thus saves a lot of money. Also, if it is managed efficiently, it will increase transparency and reduce corruption, but we all know that this will not happen.
Therefore, if the system is corrupt, these currencies will give the countries great control over the people's money and force them to take whatever taxes they want.

There are a ton of other potential issues that come to my mind: negative interest rates, which typically get sold as a positive thing stimulating the economy, could not be circumvented anymore by people who choose cash over other investments. With the application of negative interest rates people would feel forced to switch into other assets or accelerate consumption. That could be played out in a very tricky way. I would bet that banks are sitting on exactly those assets that are then the escape for people trying to avoid negative interest rates, thereby driving up those other assets' prices. I'd say it's similar to quantitative easing, but this time it is not the banks pumping money into the markets, but the people who are kind of left without a choice.
There is lots of stuff you can do with CBDCs. Among the range of possibilities is certainly also the ability to create a perfect, fully transparent profile about people, which is not unlikely to end up in exacerbating social control.
1237  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exactly did Elon want to buy Twitter? on: November 07, 2022, 12:09:07 PM
Social media has now become so ingrained in our lives that we depend on it for our expressing our ideas and in principle our thinking.
It doesn't have to be that way, you know.  I suspect if you think we're all dependent on social media, you're probably either under 30 years old or someone who needs it as part of how they make their living.  Using platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and all the other social media sites is a choice (for the most part), and I can tell you that I'm perfectly happy not using any of them.  I don't think bitcointalk counts as social media, but if it does then it's my one guilty pleasure.

Taking Twitter private is the best way to ensure that our freedoms last into the new digital age.  I think Elon bought Twitter so he could see these changes happen and he knew it would cost him 44 billion dollars to make it happen.
I have a hard time taking anything I read in the news (or from Elon Musk) at face value.  You might be correct, but as I said previously when an ultra-wealthy individual purchases some sort of media outlet, it's usually because they want to control the flow of information.  I don't use Twitter, but I'm damn curious as to how it's going to look 6 months to a year from now.  Maybe by then we'll see if the reasons Musk gave are true or if he had another agenda.

This is an incomplete list of billionaires owning important media. Musk has reacted outrageously various times over the last couple of weeks and months. He has been an interesting guy to me for a while and his entrepreneurial success is crazy, no doubt. But is the way he achieved success a great way? He has been brutal and he often has been lying.

Here he calls one of the Thai cave rescuers a pedo. I really wonder if someone who loses control over his wording in such a way is the right person to judge in the future what can be said on his Twitter platform and what can't be.

He is also dominating space with his satellites and some sources state that it is close to impossible to compete with him because in that sphere around planet Earth there is only so much space for satellites to be placed. He already "owns" the majority of it. So how far is that guy going to go?

One real problem I see is that with so much power, most people can't keep themselves under control even if they wanted to. He can implicitly blackmail authorities who are dependent on the satellites like NASA and the Pentagon. He is polarizing so hard, and I am not against polarization per se because sometimes that is a helpful tool to get hurt, but I feel he is crossing many lines at that is a type of polarization our society doesn't need. If the guy stays healthy, he has tens and tens of years to increase his empire and exert more and more pressure. Doesn't feel right to me.

Another quote:

"But by April, Mr. Musk made it clear that his help would go only so far. On Twitter, he said that as a “free speech absolutist,” he would not use Starlink to block Russian state media outlets that spread propaganda and misinformation on the war in Ukraine."

Allowing for spreading misinformation specifically, like proven misinformation: is this guy bipolar?

I will not say that the Barcelona team is not strong. Barcelona's team is strong enough. They have a lot of talented players in their squad. But the problem is that it is very difficult to make predictions about Barcelona's performance. Because there is no consistency in their performance. Barcelona does not perform well against big teams. Barcelona has several weaknesses. It is a shame that a renowned team like Barcelona will be eliminated from the Champions League in the first round. Xavi will definitely want to perform well in the Europa League and La Liga. I think if Barcelona's defence is strong they will be able to win the La Liga title.
Right now, Barcelona is under development, and they are doing good work in La Liga, but sadly they badly fail in Champions League with mostly fans saying in this season Xavi's main focus is La Liga so just because of this they are unable to have positive results in Champions League, but they can improve performance in coming season, and we can expect better results from them but in this season most chances they are looking for champions of Spain with La Liga title even this is not easy because right now Real Madrid is having three points lead and their performance is also solid which is surely big positive point for them and Barcelona has to done amazing job if they want to win any title in coming days.

Bayern has very well demonstrated that Barcelona isn't ready yet for the big stages. They are doing well in La Liga, that is true, but I don't see them on par with teams like Manchester City, PSG or Real Madrid yet (as we have seen in the clásico). Barcelona might need to sign one or two outstandingly strong players for their defense. They could be running into financial issues though especially when they can only play the EL now.

This year's final round will again be extremely exciting I think. PSG is in great shape, Manchester City is always ready and Real Madrid is very strong as their offense is now stable and well established. Vinicius Junior is getting better and better, great speed and also getting more efficient with time passing by as that was one of his issues and he can still improve. I don't think that Benzema can reach his level from last season once more, but he is still very important for decisive goals.

My eyes are on PSG and City for now. Both of them are eagerly waiting and working towards their final breakthrough.

Not only in that match with Bayern, but also in the matches against Real and Inter, it was seen that the Barcelona team is not at the highest level and that it is not yet ready to win the Champions League, and probably not even the title of the champion of Spain.
I'm actually quite surprised that Atletico, Sevilla and Juventus didn't make it to the knockout phase of the Champions League either.
This season, the competition in the European league will be very strong and uncertain.
As for the Champions League, the main candidates for the title are Real, Bayern, Manchester City and PSG.

Maybe you are a bit too harsh on Barcelona here because the first game between Bayern and Barcelona could have gone either way. It ended with a bit of luck in favor of Bayern.

It is hard to judge yet whether Barcelona has a chance to win the La Liga title. I think they can for as long as they keep their players healthy, but it will be a close head to head race with Real Madrid until the very last moment I can imagine. At times Madrid also loses some points here and there, but probably not very often. That is when Barcelona has to score their points for certain.

What is absolutely impressive at the moment is Barcelona's defense. They just had their 10th! game with a clean sheet. That is probably a record in Spain after 12 games? I would think so, but didn't look into the history regarding clean sheets. Nevertheless, that is an impressive achievement and if they can keep up that quality defense they will necessarily be a candidate to win the La Liga title.

Union Berlin deserved to win. Their last-minute goal rewarded their performance. They did not stop believing in themselves. A great performance and good preparation for the Europa League match. Union Berlin and Freiburg make the Bundesliga exciting. Freiburg won against Schalke with 2:0.
at first, when union berlin was 1 goal behind from Monchengladbach I was really worried that union would not be able to turn things around but in the second half everything changed, union managed to win with a score of 2-1 it was really fun for me, besides that Freiburg also won with a score of 2-0, my bet for today is very good, no loss lol.
After end of first half when Mönchengladbach were leading by 0 - 1, and they were good at the end I was feeling most chances we will have upset, and Bayern Munich is going to be at the top of league table again but in last twenty minutes they have done amazing job and not allowed to visitors to have positive end of this match with first goal delivered into 80th minute and then second in 97th minute which give back top spot surely one of the best comeback in this round for having their rank back from leaders.

This is surely indicating that Union Berlin is doing good stuff for this season and if they are still leading league table after 12 rounds they deserve this all now most chances they could be stayed at the top until end of this month and after break we have to wait for all relative updates because nothing is clear.

This was certainly an interesting game for the audience with that spectacular ending. I haven't looked into the circumstances yet why there was so much overtime, but Union finished that one in quite a dramatic way. All the favorites from the upper part of the table won their games besides there more exciting game between Frankfurt and Dortmund who were both set out to take the three points, but with a more lucky ending for Borussia Dortmund from what I understand so far.

Bayern has done their job as expected, but it is good to see that the other clubs are also collecting their points. All the next games will be rather easy ones for Bayern, so I don't expect them to drop any points before the World Cup starts. We have to wait until January 20th before the next big match happens between a stronger team, namely Leipzig, and Bayern.

The difference of just one point will be easy for Bayern Munich to chase, in today's match against Mainz then Bayern Munich must get a win and I believe Bayern Munich will be easy to get a win, Mainz is not a tough opponent to beat and must take this moment to score many goals that make Bayern Munich back to the top of the standings.
Well, I don't know, Mainz is still looking good this season and it's not for nothing that it takes 6th place in the standings. The team no longer loses 4 rounds and at the same time has an active winning streak of 3 matches in the Bundesliga. The team is only 4 points behind Bayern and, if it wins, it can come close to the hegemon of German football. Therefore, it is not a fact that Bayern will easily win this match, although of course the factor of the home stadium and the support of their fans should not be discarded. It's just that, oddly enough, the victory over Barcelona in the Champions League and the factor of some emotional emasculation can play against Bayern.

Given that Bayern plays with very high focus and dedication the last couple of weeks, and given that they play a home game, I doubt that Mainz will have a chance. A lot of things would have to be in their favor, including a lot of luck. Under normal circumstances I would say that Bayern is going to clearly win this game by a margin of perhaps two or three goals. I don't expect Bayern to leave any points on the table until the World Cup break is going to start.

A very interesting game this weekend is Frankfurt against Dortmund. I think in the current situation they are meeting on equal footing. Both are in pretty good shape and had their successful games in the CL. If Dortmund wants to underpin their ambitions for the Bundesliga title, the only thing that counts is winning this game. Frankfurt is in a more relaxed situation as they are after international qualifiers but not the championship (yet Wink ).
