I have always been of the opinion that Graham Potter wasn't in my opinion worthy to coach Chelsea and the club was way too big for him, just like Pochettino managing a team like PSG, however, I still don't think by any means that Graham Potter is a terrible coach, he only just chose to manage the wrong club or maybe even the right the club but at the wrong time.
He wasn’t worthy of the job but he was in an awkward position. Boehly was just buying players like on FIFA. Tyere has been no real master plan, It’s just been spend an obscene amount of money on very average players. Kimd of like throwing loads of horse crap up a wall and hoping some of it sticks. So far their big spending spree looks like a big waste of a lot of money. Chelsea are oke of the worst teams for sacking managers quickly, Potter never really stood a chance did he. The Chelsea job is a poisoned chalice, Potter is better off not managing them. His career won’t be too badly dakaged because everybody gets sacked at Chelsea. Chelsea have been a joke all season, probably worse than my team LFC because of the money spent. Having said that, Tuesday night is battle of the flops of the season, Chelsea vs LFC, aka El Shitico.

Very impressive performance by Bayern yesterday, they really laid down a marker in the title race. Bayern go above Dortmund with the win, only 2 points separating them. Obviously hugely important win for Bayern but nothing is won yet, I don’t expect Dortmund to lie down. It will go right down to the wire. Plenty of twists and turns to go, will be very entertaining to see what happens. It’s so much better like this than when Bayern just run away with it.

I watched the fight on my iPhone on a crappy stream. I expected more from Joshua to be honest, I know he won, he was the better fighter in most rounds but I expected a more explosive performance. He’s going to have to be much, much better if he’s even thinking about fighting Fury or even trying to get a 3rd Usyk fight.

Massive win for Newcastle as they beat Man Utd today 2-0. The race for top 4 is really hotting up now, it makes Man Utd fans looks a bit stupid doesn’t it. Earlier in the season it was all ‘Man Utd are back’ , ‘Ten Hag is gonna win it all.’ They’re now 4th, 1 point ahead of 5th place Spurs. They spent over 200 million last summer and Ten Hag is no better than Ole, Mourinho & Van Gaal. How long before the Glazers Out chants return with the green and yellow scarves

I wasn't even happy when we took the lead today - I somehow felt that City will eventually turn it around. They did it with class and fully deserve the win - they were the dominant team overall.
Thank God for Chelsea so we aren't the laughing stock of the league.
Yeah we are a joke, mate. Has a club ever fallen off the cliff as badly as we have, we have gone from arguably the best team in world football in 2020 to a mid table Premier League club in 2023. Two and a half years, has that level of decline ever happened before? In the future we are going to be used as the perfect example what you don't do when you reach the top. You are supposed to recruit top players whilst you’re on top because once you start to regress it’s so much harder to get back to the top. Would Henderson get into any other top 6 team, let alone captain them? Klopp has been too loyal to old, declining players. The midfield needs major surgery in the summer, if we don’t Klopp will be out of a job by Christmas. We have picked up 12 points out of a possible 42 away from home this season which is less than Southampton and Leicester City. Eight away defeats in the Premier League is our most since 2014-15 when Brendan Rodgers’ reign fell off the rails. We are on course for our worst ever PL season. Ironically it’s Chelsea away next……

Another away game, another loss for Liverpool but not surprising. Apologies to Arsenal fans for offering nothing in help for their title challenge. Arsenal went ahead and beat Leeds comfortable any way though, 8 point lead at the top of the league intact. It’s going to be a thrilling title race which I am excited to see.

Even though I expected a lot from Marseille in the match after this international break, the reality must say otherwise because they only managed to secure one point in this match.
Really disappointing result for Marseille, massive opportunity to close the gap on PSG missed. If they have any hope of winning the title they really can’t be dropping points against teams like Montpellier, especially when they’re playing at home.

I have to admit I never watched a Saudi League game in my life until Ronaldo joined Al Nassr. It was a great move by them to bring him in, not just for his obvious talent but also for his commercial value. Imagine how many Ronaldo shirts they will sell, it’ll be of epic proportions.
Ronaldo has brought so much attention to Saudi football, who knows, maybe other star players will finish their careers there, taking away the appeal that the MLS has to older guys before they retire.
The standard surprised me too, some of the teams aren’t as bad as I expected. I shouldn’t be surprised though, the Saudi team that beat Argentina had a full squad of players who started there. Any way, good to see Saudi football doing well with the obvious appeal of Ronaldo now there.

I don't think young players will replace Benzema in the team. Madrid knows their needs up front, selling Benzema, of course, must get a replacement for players who are also experienced and have good performance. it doesn't matter if it's 2 or 3 seasons. it is to guard against how Madrid will face strong European competition. there are also rumors that Moh Salah is on Madrid's radar to replace Benzema.
Nobody can replace Benzema at Real, he will go down in history as one of their best strikers ever. He has won everything with them multiple times. Salah is a wide forward, he isn’t the same type of player. If Real want to replace Benzema there are only really Haaland and Osimhen who can step into his shoes.

Man City vs Liverpool tomorrow.
Can the Reds do Arsenal a favour and take points off Man City? I’m very doubtful but we do tend to raise our game against the bigger teams a lot of the time.
I’d be delighted with a point to be honest, I see Foden is confirmed as out with injury and Haaland has been missing training, fingers crossed he doesn’t play, we may have a chance then.

Victor Osimhen has been very transparent in acknowledging the fact that it's been his childhood dream to play in the English Premier League and reports has it that Chelsea has been childhood club. Chelsea currently do not have clinical no. 9 striker and with the current heavy investment in the team's midfield and defense, Victor Osimhen will be a match made in heaven.
Victor Osimhen is expected to cost above 150 million pounds but after the heavy January spending, will Chelsea owner want to make another big signing in the summer? That's a question that only the Chelsea owner can answer
This guy is the real deal, he burst onto the scene this season and has probably become one of the best centre forwards in the world. He looks like a traditional CF, has all the attributes to play for any club in the world. I don’t think he’ll be going to Chelsea though, probably no Champions League next season and there’s no way they will be able to comply with FFP by spending 150 million. They’ve been spending like a fat kid in a sweet shop, it won’t continue. I can see Osimhen ending up somewhere like Man Utd unfortunately. They need a CF and they will probably spend big as they’ll be back in the CL. Arsenal need a CF but they don’t spend that kind of money on one player.

I’d like to see how these ‘crypto’ traders perform long term, over let’s say, 20 years. I’ve seen so many people end up broke by meddling too much with ‘crypto’.
Bitcoin only for me, my friend.
|
|
|
I haven’t really got rid of anything so to speak but in 2014 and 2015 I used to be a cheapskate denying myself nice things to buy bitcoin all the time. It worked out well shall we say many years later. The best thing you can do is save as much bitcoin as you can for retirement etc. Bitcoin is your financial lifebelt so buy as much as you can, sell whatever you can, within reason to increase your stash.
You can go on as many nights out as you want when bitcoin moons. You can buy as many nice cars and clothes as you want when bitcoin moons but for now try to be frugal. Buy as much bitcoin as you can, your older self will thank you.
|
|
|
This leads me to believe the final BTC payout if you wait could be much higher than the early lump sum payout.
I’m not a creditor (luckily for me) but thought I’d just add an opinion. You guys have waited so long now that a little longer won’t be too bad and if you get more by waiting then why not.

I was looking forward to the international break ending until I remember it’s Man City vs Liverpool, damn it. Fully expecting LFC to get a humbling at The Etihad. This season has been a disaster for Liverpool fans, I can’t wait fir it to be over Arsenal fans, don’t expect any help from us, I expect something like Man City 3-0 LFC. We have a lot of work to do in the summer, major recruitment needed to get us back to where we belong but I trust Klopp, we will be right back up there next season.
