So no one here in the pool talking about the really bad results of Manchester United (which is the last time I bet on those f*ckers) as they screwed all of my tickets tonight,I had them to win,I had them win or draw as I thought that would be the worst it could happen to them and I also had them both teams to score and none of these bets came true.Their recent form has made them not be so comfortable in the top 4 as Tottenham most probably will surpass them tomorrow as I am sure they will win against Everton in tomorrow night game.Things are becoming complicated for them yet no one says a thing about Ten Haag but everybody speaks about Potter,aren't they doing the same results in the last 3 games?

I have avoided betting on United for a long time for one simple reason: look at their game schedule. After the World Cup, this is the worst game schedule of any team. It is impossible to ensure stable results when you are exhausted.
By the way, because of this result, the most affected of all ... Liverpool!  If earlier they had to get around Tottenham and finish off Newcastle, now Newcastle seems to have become a little further, but the fact that United lost points did not change anything.

I have always been of the opinion that Graham Potter wasn't in my opinion worthy to coach Chelsea and the club was way too big for him, just like Pochettino managing a team like PSG, however, I still don't think by any means that Graham Potter is a terrible coach, he only just chose to manage the wrong club or maybe even the right the club but at the wrong time.

He wasn’t worthy of the job but he was in an awkward position. Boehly was just buying players like on FIFA. Tyere has been no real master plan, It’s just been spend an obscene amount of money on very average players. Kimd of like throwing loads of horse crap up a wall and hoping some of it sticks. So far their big spending spree looks like a big waste of a lot of money.

Chelsea are oke of the worst teams for sacking managers quickly, Potter never really stood a chance did he. The Chelsea job is a poisoned chalice, Potter is better off not managing them. His career won’t be too badly dakaged because everybody gets sacked at Chelsea.

Chelsea have been a joke all season, probably worse than my team LFC because of the money spent. Having said that, Tuesday night is battle of the flops of the season, Chelsea vs LFC, aka El Shitico.

Yeah we are a joke, mate. Has a club ever fallen off the cliff as badly as we have, we have gone from arguably the best team in world football in 2020 to a mid table Premier League club in 2023.

Two and a half years, has that level of decline ever happened before?

In the future we are going to be used as the perfect example what you don't do when you reach the top. You are supposed to recruit top players whilst you’re on top because once you start to regress it’s so much harder to get back to the top.

Would Henderson get into any other top 6 team, let alone captain  them? Klopp has been too loyal to old, declining players. The midfield needs major surgery in the summer, if we don’t Klopp will be out of a job by Christmas.

We have picked up 12 points out of a possible 42 away from home this season which is less than Southampton and Leicester City.

Eight away defeats in the Premier League is our most since 2014-15 when Brendan Rodgers’ reign fell off the rails.

We are on course for our worst ever PL season.

I feel that Klopp doesn't really have a choice. We're being outspent by half the teams in the league - I'm sure he doesn't want to play Milner and Hendo in the middle but what can he do?
When we had a crisis in midfield the best they could do was Arthur who won't play a single minute even though we had 5 midfielders injured.

If we want to stay at the top, we need to act like the teams that aim for the top - meaning that we need 2 or 3 successive transfer windows with 150 mil+ net spent. We need 2 midfielders and a CB in the summer for sure - and that costs up to 200 million euros. Will we get them? My guess is we won't, unless we sell a few players as well.

Who can we sell? Well, nobody this season. So buckle up, it's gonna be a shitty summer yet again.

Even Gakpo was doing more midfield work than Fab when we were chasing back. Also, I still think we're suffering from last season having no break and wringing our players dry. That's not defending how bad they've been, just I think the club didn't act smart to replenish the team with fresh legs etc.

Tomorrow we will face the Blues away, and I don't think I will bet on this match. We will see if Liverpool can achieve a victory against Chelsea, which itself has not achieved the desired results this season.

I think Liverpool can beat Chelsea especially after Chelsea management firing Potter at a very delicate part of this season.The first to benefit from such move it will surely be Liverpool which is going to win that game.I doubt that firing Potter was the right move to make at such time,right before a very important all in encounter which they have against Real Madrid in Champions and which is the only choice for Chelsea to compete in Europe next season too,but that is highly unlikely for them to qualify further.

On the game of tonight,Everton strange enough is pressuring a lot and Tottenham which has a golden opportunity to solidify their run to be in the top 4 are missing out,I hope this changes in the second half.

Don't blame the owner for spending the way he did; blame the coach for bringing in players he planned to leave on the bench; not a single one of them is a starter or getting a run of games; mudrik, Madueke, Fofana, and Bashilale have spent more time on the bench than they have on the field since they arrived. If they weren't part of his plan, why did he go through so much trouble to get them in the first place? These players are world-class, and if Liverpool fans are willing to give misfiring Darwin two seasons to adjust to the league, then these players who arrived two months ago may also require some time to adjust. The entire players appears unmotivated, and I'm hoping that the new guy can instill some confidence in the team.

Hiring Potter was a huge mistake in the first place, and whoever recommended him should be fired as well. Potter is clearly on the same level as Lampard and Gerrad, he left Brighton, and the team is doing much better than when he was there. Give him two seasons and nothing would go right; it was the best decision for the club and the players.

Cutting losses for a better option was the best decision, Chelsea is never a mid-table team, we only needed 4 points to move to 8th place since December and we couldn't do it.

But asides of that goal, Totenham..... again, again? And im refering about being with 1 more player than the rival and being dominated by a team with 10 players.
This happen against Southhampon and now again, and we are talking about a shit teams in comparison with Totenham.

I was going for a 1-0 to Everton and it was close and far at the same point.

I agree they weren't Potter's transfers, but Potter should have done way better with the team he had.
It isn't easy managing 40 first team players and the new coach will have the same issue as Potter.

Still - they had 3 league wins in 13 games since January. It's simply not good enough for a team of such calibre - no matter the circumstances.

The top three are starting to open the gap with the others slowly. The competition level for the 1st place in the pool is still very high. After my horrible performance last year it makes me happy to see myself in upper places. I hope I don't fall back to much lower places.

Even though the teams parting their ways with their technical directors usually get better results in their first times I think Liverpool will beat Chelsea away today. If Liverpool don't manage to win this match as well then their chance for top 4 ends completely.

This is far from being an attack, and if that's what you think this is, then my sincere apologies, I've just never see you put any form of blame whatsoever on Todd Boehly, but from your explanation too, it just doesn't make any sense to sack a coach over that, and when exactly did it become a coach's job to appoint director of football, from what I learnt as to why Tuchel got sacked, it was due to issues with the board and backroom staff, and he was said to have already lost his dressing respect too, no club owner have kept Tuchel under that circumstance, but sacking a coach just because he wouldn't get involve in the club's politics is pure nonsense and being a fan for 33 years doesn't mean much if you can't differentiate facts from opinions, for you to have implied this was an attack, and I'll stand by my opinion that Potter might not have been the best choice out there for Chelsea and it was indeed a mistake to have gone for him, but It's all on Boehly if you ask me, any other coach would have struggle as well, maybe not this much.

Yes , but in this round the gap was close, fortebet really catch us in the top, and the fight for first spot is really tight between me and mitchr, and now fortebet also.

Yesterday we (me and mitchr) went with a really bold prediction, Everton to win.

The only i can see its this season its really hard to predict any match. Today games for example.

And yes, if you've been following my posts on the other JollyGodd thread, you'd find 101 episodes of me pointing fingers and calling Todd an idiot multiple times for sacking Tuchel the way he did. I think Tuchel was unhappy with our summer transfer dealings because Todd wasn't able to get him any of his preferred targets, which is how their relationship ended, and Todd said, "From now on, you're going to lead the recruitment process," and Tuchel said, "No my job is to train players only'' they were no longer on the same wavelength.

Tuchel stated that his most recent meeting with the owners lasted only 3 minutes, that the owners wanted a YES SIR pet dog as coach, and that was another box Potter ticked.


And, yes, some coaches prefer to be involved in the club's internal affairs, while others prefer not to. Finally, we can all agree that Harry fcking Graham Potter was never the best man for the job. I've always been the #PotterOut guy

The games of tonight are about to start after that miserable fail of Tottenham yesterday night but I was smart enough in that game as I predicted that it would not win already as you can see in the picture here.



For tonight though there is money to be made but I have gone for a reasonable bet which is Brighton team Over 1.5 goals and despite the odd being 1.63 and not great I think the chances are high for this to come up.Also I think Aston Villa should win again after that great win against Chelsea and I predict also Liverpool to win against Chelsea and change of coach will not show anything new.

And yes, Saltor did, at least for the first time this season, the fans were satisfied with our line-up, players returning to their original positions it was a perfect sight to see Enzo, Kovasic, and Kante walking past the Loserpool midfield like no one was watching.


There were some positive attitudes on the pitch today, I saw our defenders diving to the ground to save a ball, thats something we haven't seen in a long time, the players fought so hard, sadly we don't have a proper striker to finish those chances. This Liverpool team is too average; we've never had it so easy this season.
