1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: November 04, 2023, 12:57:44 PM
There are many things to question about this, firstly, E money is a prominent Nigerian man that is well know to be involved in many kinds of digital businesses online and in physical, how are we going to know if truly this slip was really from his verified social media handles, am someone who also trust his integrity but doesn't believe he can come out publicly this way, showing his betting slip, people may begin to predict that he got all his money from gambling and not in doing business.

Even if the bet slip is not for the mentioned person, still that bet is too risky, but it can also be risky because what if the better didn't care about the outcome? Then he will rely on his luck, and there are 50/50 percent chances, which is too risky. It may not be risky because the man may be sure about the bet; that's why he put a high amount of money into that bet. Well, either way, it will definitely hit his life; it may be good or bad.

If this person just faked that post, he is a big scam; claiming others bet slip is a bad thing; and also, flexing bet slip is not a good move because, as you said, many will be suspicious about the man who posted the slip. He can be targeted if, for instance, the bet he placed is win situation.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 04, 2023, 10:10:04 AM
The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?

Yes, of course, that is the beauty of cryptocurrency: its volatility. I know it is risky or dangerous, but that is what crypto is. Because of its volatile price, even for many, it is dangerous, but for crypto investors of any kind, like tafing and holder, we take advantage of the volatility of cryptocurrency.

Of course I can, because I've honed my knowledge and skills in terms of cryptocurrency. That's why I'm not afraid of the volatility. Of course, there's still risk, but of course, without risk, you will not gain. A mature and honed crypto investor will not blame the volatility of the price if they fail or lose money; the ones to blame are the investor itself, because it means that you do not have enough skill and knowledge and yet you still invest. There is a lot to invest in fiat, but I'm more into crypto currency.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to start betting on sports? on: November 03, 2023, 11:27:49 PM
Well, that would be risky. I mean, you said you want to earn a profit from sports betting, but you don't know about sports. Players,  how could you possibly earn if you are not sure on who and what you will be betting? Yes, you could start playing sports betting, but the guaranteed earnings are impossible. I think you should invest first in gathering information, like reading articles about the sports you want to bet on and gathering information about the teams and players. In that way, you have a chance to win because you know who could possibly win.

Sports betting is fun, yeah, but losing money from it is not. So before you decide to fully engage in sports betting, take the advice of a lot of people who will reply to your topic. That will be useful and beneficial for you, and you will also earn a lot if your bet is on point.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 03, 2023, 10:41:39 PM
Telegram? From the sounds of it, telegram is subject to use for scamming. I don't, but trusting the application and installing it on your device is so dangerous because, as the OP said, it is only on telegram, and what we know is that it may be a scheme made by scammers, added with no KYC. That's a bit too obvious. Imagine depositing money from an app that you've got on telegram without knowing who is the developer of the casino app or who's the owner of the casino app.

As an IT professional, this is too risky; apps may contain malware that can be used to hack devices. I don't discriminate or talk bad about Telegram; I use it, but online casinos that are based on Telegram are too risky and dangerous. Of course, I don't stop gamblers if they want to use it. You are in your own safety; it is your own responsibility.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: November 03, 2023, 10:09:26 PM
This doesn't seem to be true. Some of the oldest and reputable crypto casinos don't do KYC. All fiats do KYC and many fiats are crooked. Even if you give your KYC to a crypto casino they may ask for a video selfie later.
That's because the old and reputable crypto casinos already make a lot money, so if there's a gambler is winning and withdraw his profit, it's just a peanut for the casino and they will not ask KYC since it just a wasting time for them.

Yeah KYC isn't only submitting personal ID, bill etc, but including self introduction video, live video, or other ridiculous thing that could satisfy them and you don't have any option to reject it.

I think KYC is normal these days. It's part of the security policy of the casino; they do KYC for them to know who the player is and where they will send the withdrawal. And because a crypto casino or online casino is subject to money laundering, what I mean is that if the player is anonymous, he could waste money that could be from illegal activities. That's what the online casino is avoiding, and there are also laws that require KYC for online casinos to verify the players for their safety. I understand that you are concerned about your personal information. If you think you can't trust the online casino, then find another that is more trustworthy. But asking for video recording—I think that is sckechy; if they ask for that, I suggest they don't sign up for that casino. KYC only requires informal ID and a picture. But it depends on the casino; it's your call whether to trust it or not.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 03, 2023, 03:22:40 PM
Crypto gambling is the new meta because it is easy to access because it is online, and crypt currency is also well known to others. Especially investors. Well, traditional gambling is still popular these days, as many people are still fans of physical gambling games as they are more fun and entertaining, especially for the elderly. Mainly, one of the main differences between crypto gambling and regular gambling is that regular gambling is for gamblers who like engagement with other people, or socialising, in short. While crypto gambling is easier to access with just a device, it is suitable for gamblers who don't have social skills or are introverts, and of course, it is more popular among young people. Still, even though they have differences, gambling is gambling, and gambling is a form of entertainment with money involved, while it has its good side, as we know both of them can cause addiction.
1267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: November 03, 2023, 01:58:15 PM
And I experienced that at some point in my trading journey, both crypto and forex, when I first started, I ignored the essential things that I should know: knowledge, skill, and experience. At first, it went smoothly. I traded recklessly, but it didn't last long because after that day, I kept losing and losing money until I'm in debt.

But that didn't stop me. I rested for a while, then started learning more about trading and focused only on crypto currency trading, mainly bitcoin. Of course, at first I still lost some money, but not like my first experience. Eventually,  I noticed that I'm getting better and better at trading. I'm not a perfect trader, so I still experience down trades, but I can earn more than I lose. Even trading is too risky and can cost you money if you don't do well. As long as you have dedication and patience, the losses will pay off.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: November 03, 2023, 10:36:16 AM

that's the madness of gambling addicts, those who are addicted to gambling will find it difficult to stop, even those closest to them won't be able to do much, let alone remind them to stop immediately because they will get carried away and do it secretly so that many people don't know.
To be able to stop definitely requires a great desire from oneself to be able to recover and have a strong determination so that they can control their thoughts to stop gambling gradually.

Gambling using this method is not easy, but at least we need to know what steps to take so that we don't fall into irresponsible gambling. By having a strong stance, we will be able to control our finances and time as well as possible.
Addiction to gambling is a serious and genuine problem. People simply cannot stop themselves once they become engrossed in the thrill and excitement. It draws them in farther and farther like a vortex. Indeed, even those closest to them frequently have limited options. It's something that is very, extremely secretive

It takes tremendous resolve and willpower to give up. It's not simple, not at all. But it's important, really important, to know what actions to take. The healing process includes taking a firm stand, managing money, and scheduling one's time. It's a long, drawn-out journey. But one may conquer, truly overcome, with the correct attitude and strategy. It's about accepting accountability and assuming command. It requires significant attention because it is a serious issue
Yes, gambling addiction is indeed a serious problem. We cannot stop someone who has fallen into gambling addiction. To be honest, it is difficult to cure it, even support from the family is not enough if within themselves they do not have the strong determination to stop immediately.

A firm attitude towards yourself is very important. We must have a strong determination to stop or at least reduce it gradually so that the gambling addiction can be resolved quickly.

We can help them, we can forced them to enter in a rehabilitation, that is I think the last resort for gambling addicts, because if friends and family can't help them then no one will even their selves. I've see a lot of people who commited crimes and suffered from their addiction and gambling is one of them.

Even if we concern ourselves with the gambling addicts if they can't help themselves then we can't help also but of course you can do your part by pursuing them to quit and to change it don't has to be immediately they could practice a limited amount to spend in gambling first and little by little will reduce the session of gambling and eventually he/she will forgot about gambling, but of course he/she should divert his attention to other things like sports or other games with no money involved.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2023, 11:50:46 PM
No, it's never too late. Yes,  you are too late in the event where the bitcoin price skyrocketed, but it's still not too late to invest in bitcoin because there are a lot of ways to earn through bitcoin; you can do holding, trading, etc. There are a lot out there. What matters is how you will earn from it; the answers will be yours. Don't listen to others claiming to be experts in bitcoin or whatever; at the end of the day, you are the one who will determine if it's too late.

Investing in bitcoin takes a lot of time, effort, and knowledge; it's up to you if you want to. I guarantee that investing in bitcoin will be worthwhile as long as you equip yourself with the necessary tools to do so. So don't be disappointed because you didn't get rich immediately. Be disappointed if you can't make yourself rich. It's better to do your own research and not believe in the hoax of others that bitcoin is not a good investment and it's too late, because it is not and it never was.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SPORTBETTING ADVICE ⚽️ on: November 02, 2023, 11:14:58 PM
There is a difference between searching information about LaLiga and 3rd league of Indonesia(for example). Sometimes you have to spend several hours trying to find any information about teams. And you can`t find any information about injuries and main players(for examples) mostly.
Sports always can surprise, but with statistics and analyze you can predict the victory at least. Even if you win a half of the bets - you get stable profit with odds more than 2. And it is much easier to get it in low leagues.

The reason that a person can actually have an advantage in sports betting is that they can do research and analysis which will help them understand which team has the highest chances of winning a certain match, and if they have experience in that sport and knowledge about the teams already, that's like icing on the cake because their own knowledge combined with the results of their research and analysis they've done for that match will make it much easier for them to pick a side.

However, as you said, the thing about low or smaller leagues is that news or information about them isn't always readily available for sports bettors to see and analyze because most news outlets and websites are mainly focused on big leagues and tournaments and they barely cover these small leagues except the local newspapers and stuff where one might be able to find information and news about them but that makes it a bit hectic.

Yeah I agree.
Sportsbetting is not only based on luck such as slots for example. You can take away a % of needed luck and replace it with knowledge instead. 💪

I disagree with the idea that sports betting is based on luck; I guess that's not what you've quoted in his statement. He is stating that in sports betting, you have an advantage over big leagues in sports because you can search for the source of information about the teams and players. but it is different for low league or small league as it only has limited resources. But of course, as a sportsbetting gambler, you will not bet on something you don't know about or are not sure if you will win; that's what you called "based on luck" if you didn't do any research or you just want to bet without knowledge about the players or team.

Sports betting is fun gambling, especially for sports fans, as you can enjoy supporting your team, bet on them, and earn if the team you choose to support wins. That's the thrill and fun part of sports betting.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 02, 2023, 10:04:47 PM
Lesson learned: never ever share anything on social media. Well, it's not bad to share your achievement, but do not brag about it, and never share the wealth you have because that's when scammers or people who take advantage of people do so. You see, that is the problem now. People always share even the little things on social media; it's like a new norm now.

I also have friends who flex their bitcoin things or their trading journey or screenshot, which I don't contradict, but the thing is that they give the wrong idea about bitcoin or trading to the viewers of their posts or stories. Beginners in bitcoin will think that it is easy to earn in bitcoin, and if those viewers of their stories or posts nag them, asking for help on how to earn, which is a hassle because they want to learn bitcoin just because of the money. That's why I'm not a fan of flexing my achievements and earnings on social media.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 01:29:19 PM
I only use one platform for betting, but I have multiple accounts on different platforms. For example, in sports betting, I have different accounts on different platforms. Because each account has disignated a sport that I bet on, why? It's because I think that a specific sport requires a specific platform for sports betting. I know one flatform offers all the sports, but it's my own belief and technique, and it works perfectly fine for me.

On another betting platform, I usually have 2–3 maximum accounts on each platform because I feel that having multiple accounts on one platform can be useful, such as if you feel that account is unlucky that day, then try the other one. I know it doesn't have anything to do with how I will win or luck itself; it's just, as I said "my beliefs" so don't try to contradict me, so to answer the topic, yes I used multiple flatform yes and also multiple accounts.
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Simple Reason Why Bitcoin is not Money on: November 02, 2023, 12:20:03 PM
What I don't understand is how are you not bored with it and do you really believe that you will change anyone's opinion here?

I'm guessing they suffer from the same personality disorder as other forum trolls like franky1.  Aside from the multiple accounts, the similarities between them are striking.  They base every argument they've ever made on fanciful notions that only exist in their imagination.  No one accepts their flawed premise, so they set themselves on repeat like a braindead parrot, somehow expecting a different outcome.  And then getting pissy when no one takes them seriously.  Same toxic behaviour.

Seems the world is full of narcissistic sociopaths with too much spare time on their hands.
I agree. I guess there is something with their minds about doing posts like that, which is that we know what the outcome will be. This is a cryptocurrency forum or a bitcoin-related forum, and they hope that anyone will take their side just because they have a long post saying sh*t about bitcoin and still pursuing others that bitcoin is not money. It is a morey in the form of digital currency. I guess he is one of the boomers who can't accept the advancement of technology and how powerful bitcoin is right now.

If bitcoin is not truly money, then why have many people invested in it and gotten a profit? Or have many millionaires gotten rich because of bitcoin? It may not be the money we used like fiat, but that's because bitcoin is the new or future money and currency. If they don't want to consider bitcoin money, then let them be; they are just missing out on a big opportunity.
1274  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: November 02, 2023, 11:39:58 AM
       -   There are only three of them that I have tried to play gambling at: stakes, bcgames,  and wolfbet, but most of the time I play gambling at bc games. I just like their slot games because they really entertain me.

Now, if you are asking which is the best casino, the best casino is the one that always gives you profit most of the time and will play apart from the one that gives you comfort and entertainment. This was according to my assessment only.
I agree. There are plenty of casinos who can entertain and satisfy ourselves but there's one that stand out of them all and that is the casino who often give us profit. Because if you play on their site and win, able to withdraw without issues, this can trigger you to come back and play again.

Therefore if you have a good experience in a particular casino (often win) that makes it more special. It might be not the choice of other gamblers but based on your own experience, that casino is the best.

The best casino should depend on the person who gambles; at the end of the day, the one you are familiar with has the best casino games for you. So it's better to find your own best casino, because what if stakes or wolfbet are not for you? So you should find the best for you and the game that will give you a big chance of winning.

For me, sportbet and stakes are the best games, as I'm familiar with these two gambling games and I like sports, so I know a lot about sports. That's why sportbetting is one of the best casinos for me, as I have odds to win often. Stakes because I like to feel the thrill, and staking is one of the games that will give me that feeling. So as long as you have the game or casino that gives you entertainment at the same time profit then that is the best casino for you.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin and forget the investment on: November 02, 2023, 09:30:42 AM
The title of the topic says it all, there is nothing more to add or take away from it, if a person wants to be a millionaire, they do not have to do tradign or go looking for which is the easiest casino, or which is the easiest game, or shortcuts to Being rich, it's simple, you have money, you invest it in bitcoin, you wait a few years and you are already rich, the more you put money in bitcoin, the more a millionaire you will be, that is the trend of bitcoin behavior, there is no other way to be able to reach be the best and richest in the world, but now bitcoin is at a good price to buy, when it increases to more than $100k, who will buy? the most millionaires.

This only applies when you started bitcoin at its earlier price or in 2017, before bitcoin skyrocketed in price. Right now the price of bitcoin is too high, so you will never know when it will decrease or increase, so it's not just that you will buy and sell and stock a lot of bitcoin. It's not that easy; you will need to consider a lot before investing in it. Like its price, what if you brought bitcoin to its peak price and suddenly dropped it? I get it. Bitcoin is long-term, but of course you have equity to consider. If your equity runs out, then your asset will be gone. Don't talk like bitcoin investment is easy because it is not. There is no certainty in bitcoin as its price is volatile. Don't give false hope and false ideas without stating the things to be considered before entering something new.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: November 02, 2023, 07:43:55 AM
How can Gambling be illegal when it is celebrated all over the world. In sports like football alot of the adverts are gambling based. We know that money laundering is one of the reasons for it's
proscription but it is just a few people so launder money through it the rest are just average males and females who gamble for several legal and moral reasons.
Dude, gambling is not legal everywhere in the world. There are many countries where gambling is a legally punishable crime. If we follow international newspapers, we can see that many people have been arrested for gambling in many countries. But it is not correct that gambling can be called totally illegal just because there are these. Gambling should be considered as a means of entertainment. Although it has a bit of a bad reputation due to money launderers, I think gambling cannot be called an illegal activity except for these simple things.
Gambling itself is not illegal, nor are the games involved in gambling. What makes gambling illegal if the owner of the casino or online casino doesn't have a permit to operate? Or maybe a gambling game built only by normal people is illegal. The OP only mixed up the article by saying that yes, gambling is one of the activities in money laundering, and that's because the one who does the laundering does gambling in secession, like using funds just to gamble; that is what is illegal.

And also, gambling will be considered illegal if a country bans it for a certain reason, but the gambling itself is not illegal; the country just decided to ban it. If gambling is illegal, then why are there existing casinos and online casinos out there? So in short, it's about the country, the permit, or the rule if they make gambling games illegal.
1277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you must follow or use the services of trading signals providers on: November 02, 2023, 05:42:55 AM
When I'm a beginner in crypto trading, I also used to follow signals, and I'd say it didn't and did well at some points. What I mean is that sometimes their signals are not on point because their trade is not suitable for mine in terms of my equity, as I only have limited equity to trade. I did well because sometimes their trade is on point or I earn from it. And because of that, I don't want to rely on signals anymore, as I want to earn by using my own analysis and chart mapping. In short, I don't want to rely on them. Even now, I still look for signals, but only for reference; I still always follow my own.

Because there are a lot of signal providers that only aim to have an investor or get paid, and the free signals they give are cheap signals, which we understand because they are free, it's so hard to find legitimate and accurate free trading signals. That's why it's better to learn and execute your own analysis.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help? on: November 01, 2023, 11:53:14 PM
Bitcoin can help your life when you utilise Bitcoin but is not investment you will go into and you start making a huge profit so bitcoin is good investment and the aspect bitcoin help you is when you invest and leave it to grow, like long term investment not a short term investment the way I do see bitcoin, their is something we need to know every investment will help only when you understand the investment, and if you can have a patients when you invest in bitcoin you will make profit and at the moment the profits you make can also help your life.

You are right; bitcoin is a long-term investment; you have to go long if you want a big return. Yes, bitcoin can be short-term in the form of trading, but it will only be day trading or scalping, which is too risky and doesn't utilise the potential profit of bitcoin. You have to trade long-term to maximise the potential profit. Or holding bitcoin. That's why you are right about the fact that an investor in bitcoin requires a lot of patience to survive in bitcoin.

Bitcoin may be a good help or investment for many, but not for all. Why? Because, as I said, it is a long-term investment, not everyone has the capability to invest and wait for that long-term return, as many will need money for their daily lives. Bitcoin may be a big help, but bitcoin investment is, I think, not for everyone. If they want to try and enter bitcoin, then do so, but you don't have a guarantee that you will earn.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: November 01, 2023, 11:11:04 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency in which global knows about bitcoin and in the Internet bitcoin is always threading so even though you have not teach your children bitcoin other people will teach your children bitcoin either through school or through play from the age group because bitcoin is all over in the Internet and is not something you will force your children to develop interest and learn about Bitcoin, so I believe that bitcoin is something I denotes that have to do with time, if your children doesn't have a time to learn bitcoin their is nothing you can do and they develop interests in bitcoin

True that, let our children to have a freedom of choice, they will ask us about something if they are interested but let us not fail to introduce Bitcoin to them, at least we had opened a path to cryptocurrency for them.  Just let them decide whether they get interested or not.  We can follow through once they get older.  For now let them enjoy their being a kid and have them interact naturally with things and people around them.

Pushing things that are way complicated for their understanding will only confuse and stress them.  It is not healthy for the kids so better not force them to learn complex things for their age.
And children's are not always ready for these complex things; as they are young, they should enjoy their youth first before anything else, so they will not miss out on the things they can do as children. Yes, we can open the idea or introduce the idea of bitcoin; we can only teach them bitcoin deeply if they show interest and want to learn it themselves. As many children or young adults have exceptional talent and a mind that is more mature in thinking, they are the ones who's ideal to early teach about bitcoin, but of course, young people still need guidance from their parents as bitcoin if they engage requires money, so we also need to teach our children to have proper money management, not just bitcoin itself but the other aspects needed in bitcoin, like discipline, self-control, technical analysis, etc. There's a lot to be considered before bitcoin itself.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 01, 2023, 10:28:45 PM
What I can say is that if you are too worried about getting addicted, don't enter into gambling in the first place. Also, if you know that you can't control yourself from gambling too much, stop it right away. Gambling is not for people who can't manage their gambling habits or their money properly. And let me ask you: What is your purpose in getting involved in gambling? Is it just for fun, or do you want to earn money? If it's just for fun, then make sure you will not waste too much money. If it's just to earn, then as early as possible, I won't hope you will earn easily in casinos because if not, you might lose a lot of money as you are a beginner in casino or gambling. Well, I'm just giving you some advice, as I'm concerned for you.

If you are looking for a casino, you can see a lot in this forum. There are links all over the forum; it's up to you to determine if it's legit or not. Goodluck!
