1261  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: March 05, 2023, 04:08:08 PM
I wanna mention weapon companies, it sounds like it's unethical to classify them as taking advantages on suffering. But if you look at the facts, the amount of their production increased dramatically during the war. Take the example of the Du Pont company, branded the "Merchant of Death"[1].

1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did they not know about the importance of Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2023, 10:17:32 AM
Precisely in those years, they weren't looking for price, but functionality, experience, and they were really looking for proof that bitcoin was an important thing that brought change. I think they enjoyed their journey which in the end made history that the community will always remember, basically they don't really regret seeing the current price. After all, early adopters were more likely to have more bitcoins left (which used to be considered dust) than today.
1263  Other / Off-topic / Re: i need investor on: March 05, 2023, 09:50:27 AM
Finding investors isn't as easy as it seems, I saw your base in the philippines and checked your boutique gallery via postal history. So, add more details about sales statistics (eg. publicly confirmable evidence such as accounts on specific marketplaces), opportunities, prospects, or anything that might inspire someone to choose you as a business partner.
1264  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: March 05, 2023, 09:16:08 AM
In my country, for whatever reason, buying fast food is considered wasteful by most people. The solution is to make your own food at home (it is recommended that you have a living partner to reduce food waste).
I'll tell the boarding school boys how they get a varied menu throughout the month for a small monthly meal fee for roommates (say $50 per person). Generally, each room (group) seats 3-4 people, so the cost of buying groceries is $150. Measuring the low cost of living in my country, this figure is actually very sufficient.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 05, 2023, 03:21:18 AM
It's up to you how much you have, separating by spending category. What you need to remember is that the risk isn't only about losing assets, but also losing access. Sometimes someone actually does silly things because they lack basic knowledge of saving keys. So, having lots of wallets isn't always a good suggestion, first measure how good you're at handling this.
1266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Facts about BingX on: March 03, 2023, 03:13:59 AM
Here is a list of the user information they collect [1],
Quote
Individual customers:
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Full legal name (including former name, and names in local language)
  • Nationality
  • Passport number, or any government issued ID number
  • Date of birth (“DOB”)
  • Proof of identity (e.g., passport, driver’s license, or government-issued ID)
  • Residential address
  • Proof of legal existence
  • Additional Personal Data or documentation at the discretion of our Compliance Team

Obviously they need user verification, no specific conditions for this request are stated (I think that's when you identified it as violating conditions). On a review they won't ask for KYC at registration[2]. But you have to be prepared for the worst case scenario, deposit the smallest amount possible or don't use it.

1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Deposit Exchange Rate shocks on: March 03, 2023, 02:53:22 AM
What's surprising, you suggest him to transfer via an ATM for the 2nd time at the same price even though it clearly seems inconsequential. Don't know where the machines took the price reference from, the last time the 30k price was seen was in May last year.

If it were me, the first try would be enough to make my decision to stop using bitcoin ATMs for life.

1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin is lost in a wallet can it ever be recovered on: March 02, 2023, 06:10:03 PM
If you mean self-custody(hot or cold) wallet, it can't. The only recovery is manually, by going directly to the thief and making him willing to send it back. However it is hard to imagine, your address only shows traces of tx input-output in the explorer, meaning it can be traced but not easily identified as to who it belongs to.
1270  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Localbitcoins.com] Is Closed. on: March 02, 2023, 02:06:14 PM
~

Here are some exchanges without KYC https://kycnot.me, you may be able to adopt their business model.
Some people are okay with KYC and some arent because it is against the concept of decentralization, skepticism about data leaks, etc. After all, not all who care about privacy are scammers.
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 02, 2023, 01:51:18 PM
The higher the level of education, the more specific theory will usually be studied, but again, that's just standard knowledge in all fields that can become obsolete one day. The rest is depending on how to adapt to real challenges, development, evaluation, improvement, and so on. Challenges will be different every time, you must still welcome new non-academic knowledge from various sources which sometimes actually provide more solutions.
1272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im newbie here but long time been in the game Im instutionol person on: March 02, 2023, 01:37:59 PM
Your writing level is quite high for the average newbie, let's get things straight.
You're a person from an institution with some trading background. You're interested in creating a crypto project based on some inspiration.
What kind of project would you like to start and what criteria would you need someone for?
1273  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap food: can you beat this price in your country? on: March 02, 2023, 12:40:06 PM
Sorry but I wouldn't restaurant to this place
In this place, you can also take your food home by the way.

Whether you want it or not, it depends on your preference because maybe you're from an area where you can't find restaurants that look above that around, or because the economic level is higher than the average income of people in a low-income country so you always imagine "cheap" restaurants will always look like this at firstthought.https://images.otstatic.com/prod1/49135837/3/huge.jpg

But focusing on the OP, it wants food with a decent dose of nutrients but cheap. so the place ism't a major consideration.
1274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Volare Project Going to cheat on: March 01, 2023, 11:57:19 PM
Damn I also just remembered that I also took part in this bounty by invitation. I wasn't following updates anymore until I found this thread. There seems to be a lot of new terms for exchanging rewards that weren't previously written into the campaign agreement. KYC, locking up, limitations.

It's funny that you just join bounties without even reading the terms or the road maps of the projects you are advertising,
Violating the road map plan seems to be a common thing to do lately,
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 01, 2023, 02:32:05 PM
It was only necessity that forced me to sell my wife's jewellery.
Is it a real necessity or is it just your passionate desire and it's based on belief? It's good if you understand the risks, but if your initiative is only to get community recognition, sorry it's not cool at all. I shook my head knowing you forced your wife to do this.

But I believe 100%  that Bitcoin may double or triple from ATH after halving day 2024.
That isn't a routine price increase, scenario sometimes misses the usual.

What crazy stories will I read next just to invest in bitcoin?
1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Enough? on: March 01, 2023, 07:36:40 AM
Enough or not depending on how high your dreams about:
- how high the bitcoin price will reach.
- how much you want something with bitcoin even though the value of the investment is quite high for the average ppl.

When it comes to greed, what I know is that humans are never enough. They'll place regret in any situation.
1277  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed By Moneso on: March 01, 2023, 05:28:38 AM
Bitcointalk is going to become a haven for scammers,
Every place on the internet will become a haven for scammers if users never learn the signs that scams work, ignoring recommended procedures to transact safely.

I am wondering, any new member can start selling on the Bitcointalk forum.
Not all newbies are scammers, do mods also have to prevent you from selling something?
1278  Economy / Economics / Re: Untouchable Savings: Do you have it? on: March 01, 2023, 05:17:36 AM
If insurance can be classified on untouchable savings, then yeah I have that, health insurance to be more precise. That can't be spent on other emergency needs right?

One should not place too much worry on anything far away, limit it to today and the next few days. The economy will always be a matter of life at every level, people have their own problems, and in fact they'll find solutions slowly when adapting to them. That doesn't mean you don't have a financial plan either.
1279  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance - where is it located? on: March 01, 2023, 04:14:02 AM
Binance has several stories of how they attempted to set up (physically) a head office which on average was short-lived due to new regulations that didn't always seem to stick around once the office was established, since the Cayman Islands (their first license), Malta, China, Japan, Seychelles[1].

December 2021 The Central Bank of Bahrain granted an in-principle license[2] where it was an opportunity to set up a new headquarters, though I never heard of any renewal. I think CZ is no longer interested in establishing a central office, as a matter of CZ's principle:

1280  Other / Meta / Re: Unban request, I was banned for copying my own text on: February 28, 2023, 01:51:28 PM
I also support the unban request, there is no doubt on my part that this was just a minor accident. This ban appeal is also made by the original topic poster.

Anyway, some start asking questions outside the context of account recovery, (it's reputation related). It would be better to open a new topic on the appropriate board.
