1261  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: August 03, 2023, 02:12:24 AM
That's weird. You should be able to earn from your Youtube channel already as a content creator unless you're not actively uploading or not getting enough viewership from it. If you're having fair amount of subs, likes and views, you should definitely apply for Youtube Partner to be able to monetize your videos and you know the rest already.

For sites, not sure if you built the site from scratch but you can start freelancing business either as a backend, frontend, or full stack dev. Not sure what country you reside from, but clients usually pay a lot in freelancing. There are freaking lowballers, but a good and well-paying client should be there.

Yes to be partnered with youtube is really hard you need at least 4 thousand watch hour and Im still at a thousand currently and need 1000 subscriber and i have 1,4K subs now but to get 4000 watch hours is tricky part since I only have short video but when I uploaded long video no want watch it  Grin
Why I dont give up because monthly view is already reached 1-2K so I dont want to give up now hahahha

For the site Im making Blog and basically dont have really specific niche so I throw it what happened in my mind

and for the OP i just quick search that Grab Holding that listed on Nasdaq according to https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/GRAB/ still not unprofitable for couple of year it more that 4 year

1262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi asset mode on: August 02, 2023, 01:17:55 AM
yes I just barely know that Bybit supports multi asset mode I think to this date only binance and bybit other Futures platfrom usually using USDC or USDT.

Even Binance do delisted some of their BUSD pair in futures i dont know for what reason maybe BUSD still have ongoing issue with SEC
1263  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DEX with orderbook on: August 02, 2023, 01:05:41 AM
https://app.1inch.io/#/1/classic/limit-order/WETH/DAI example

1nch now also has limit orderbook. But personally Im using https://idex.io/ on polygon but volume of Decentalized Exchange like this is very small so use it with caution like spread etc.
1264  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now let’s talk about CEX or DEX on: August 02, 2023, 12:53:03 AM
You might know the difference already CeX or centralized exchange is a platform owned and operated by a single entity acting as an intermediary between buyers and sellers according ledger.com while Dex is Decentralized Exchange usually community owned through DaO but you dont need deposit like Cex did or direct peer-to-peer cryptocurrency transactions to take place without the need for an intermediary

Whose the better liquidity in my opinion is Cex, Big CeX like Binance usually has a lot of liquidity and tight spread but in today Dex you can use dex aggregator like 1nch or DodoEx to route your transaction at best rate.

1265  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Viabtc Cloud Mining, read before you buy. on: August 02, 2023, 12:44:29 AM
I am of the opinion that every cloud mining should be labelled as a scam. No exception

But for no reason, there are a lot of people who still fall into this program.

Unfortunately, just like in casinos where MOST people end up losing money given the statistical advantages the house has over the players, you can't label them as scammers, the same thing is true for cloud mining that is offered by "legit" companies like Bitmain, in other words, you could sue all those fake cloud mining companies who simply take your money and run, but I doubt you can do the same with Bitmain, Viabtc, any other company that doesn't just run away with your money.

They simply are counting on people's ignorance and greed, they know the math very well, and they know how to make a profit at the expense of those who don't, do I advice everyone against it? yes, can I say without a doubt that Binance, Viabtc, and all those folks are scammers? would be hard to prove in a court to be honest.

It is kinda grey scam hahaha I just recently saw Binance Cloud Mining and am interested to see but after doing math with stompix at the end if we subscribe to Binance cloud mining today we will get razor-thin profit

I just know after you guys tell me, and yes it actually profitable but razor-thin margin and we need 3 months to get return of investment for now it is not worth it too, it is better to buy with DCA technique and maybe the return will more than this.

* Hashrate Fee 0.02 + Electricity Fee 0.0531 = 0.0731/USD/T/Day (the historical output 0.0776/USD/T/Day - Fee 0.0731/USD/T/Day = 0.0045/USD/T/Day

I wonder where the 23% comes from

So right now it's 0.0777 in profit with 0.0200+0.0531, a bit better than yours but still, you get
0.0731 in expenses and 0.0777 in revenue, which is 0.0041 in profit, so a 5% margin, nowhere near a 23% stated there.
Taking into account the current mempool spam that drove the fees up and you get a 5% bonus from this which might not be there tomorrow the profit is paper thin, one tiny dif increase and you're losing coins.

1267  Economy / Economics / Re: Dubai Dirham and russian rubles are like some low Cap cheap coins now on: August 01, 2023, 01:58:37 AM
bro If you love fiat then buy it or trade it on Forex it is also a form of investment but in my opinion, If I were you I would definitely buy crypto instead of fiat especially bitcoin. Remember inflation is a monster.

Here a picture

Unless you have ton of money and then put it the bank to make it grow, but bank usually give 3-7% while the inflation rate now is around 5.25% for US

Good Luck hehehehe
1268  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: August 01, 2023, 01:53:59 AM
Are you holding fiat? Do you not know that if you are holding fiat, it is like your government are scamming you, although it is not a scam, but it is a means to lose money as your fiat money lose value and unable to buy what you can use it to buy before.

Totally agree fiat is losing its value

Tho if I were you OP i would using my emergency fund first rathen than cut lose and sell your asset. tak example if you have crypto we are in the q3 of 2023 the halving is near and maybe like the past history we are going see ATH next year or early 2025.

If you have a mutual fund, especially in the money market you can sell it to cover your expenses

or take profit any investment that already showed green <-- but this is last effort
1269  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you will never become rich on: August 01, 2023, 01:47:22 AM
The first reason why you can never be rich is too much responsibilities, carrying family problems on your head which we all know family problems are always around the corners and can't be totally eliminated.

Well its me, a sandwich generation that pays the elderly and our kids. Tho Im not married yet but when I do Im gonna pay kids and parent at the same time. Exhausting but it is what it is.

Tho if we want free from sandwiches generation we should invest at a very early age and really have tight budget to do everything. Work hard Invest hard even this would be little bit hurt.

1270  Economy / Economics / Re: Helpful mineral resources on: August 01, 2023, 01:41:07 AM
Africans are blessed with a lot of minerals that if this resources are gainfully used for benefit of their citizens, this God given resources would add colours to Africans. Countries in Africans like Nigeria, Serial Leone, Ghana, kenya, south Africa and lots more you will a lot of natural resources either misused or abandon by government and even if they see need to use them, is either abused or mismanaged. Petrol in Nigeria till today is been refined outside country and still import back to Nigeria on a high price, lots of minerals like coals, salt, kerosene, gas, petroleum and so on but no appropriate handling of this resources, so even the citizens can not benefit from it. If Africa can make use of their resources well, they will be more independent, free from indebtedness and indirect colonial system of other countries.

They should be free like you said a lot of minerals meaning your country could be independent. But the truth is the rich mineral countries will always in the end of the list just like my countries Indonesia also had lot of mineral including oil and gas also the biggest nickel in the world. But the raw material always goes outside and when it becomes a finished good it goes to indonesia back.

1271  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: August 01, 2023, 01:32:19 AM
But Guys why we still talk about twitter stock when twitter is delisted by the exchange I just quick do google search and the site said

In late October 2022, the company was purchased by Elon Musk for $43billion US dollars, and the company was subsequently removed from public trading on November 8th, 2022. Each individual share was paid out at $53.70 prior to delisting. View historical data and performance charts for twitter share prices. - https://uk.investing.com/equities/twitter-inc#:~:text=In%20late%20October%202022%2C%20the,charts%20for%20twitter%20share%20prices.

It is currently like that, they have recently closed it for public trading. However, it should be noted that possibility of a rise in twitter or x stock can happen if Elon Musk or the board decides to open it again for public trading. As of now, it is unclear what Elon is planning to do next after the huge rebrand of the platform.

I think it won't happen in the near time because the first time, he bought he decided to go private and buy each individual share and already paid out.

Or maybe Elon still have a bunch of money and not gonna decide to go public again near soon. Because that Only Tesla that Public right?

1273  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 31, 2023, 02:09:32 AM
I agree, but I think there's a limited kind of plants can be used plant using hydroponics or I'm wrong? All in all, hydroponics can really help the economy but the thing is it is kinda expensive in some areas, the materials are expensive especially here in us, we are in province but the lands are already occupied by subdivision. I really want to maximize the agriculture sector in us but the government is too slow.

YEs hydroponic is expensive and we need to sell the plant little bit higher to keep the production and sometimes expensive vegetables doenst sell well and I do agree with you but I just view youtube video that farmer using hydroponic and Fish farming at the same time

and the technique called Aquaponics is essentially organic cultivation of plants and animals together in a re-circulating closed system (water tank), using water instead of potting mixes. - https://www.canna-uk.com/aquaponics

I think with this technique we can manage sell vegetable cheap and sell the fish at the same time
1274  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: July 31, 2023, 02:03:28 AM
This is an interesting topic in

it really is I have a youtube channel and a website that have been live for more than 3 years and don't give me the profit yet, at least for now but there is people viewing the channel or visit the website while I still pay for the game and internet for the youtube channel and pay the domain for the website.

I dont want give up when see the analytic and remember how much i spend for this but in the other hand I want to give up because it took multi-year and still not any single cent transferred to my bank account.

If you guys know about startup like Grab Uber or doordash the company still make unprofitable business and still operating

1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: July 31, 2023, 01:37:37 AM
I don't think the Fed rate hike is still having a big impact on the market anymore. Since the beginning of the year, the Fed has raised interest rates twice and it seems that the market no longer overreacts every time interest rates are announced. So I think if the market has a big correction, the cause will not be the Fed. I still predict that the market will not rush to the upside from now on and still have a few corrections before and after the halving. But I don't believe bitcoin can drop below $20k again, I mean, we made a bottom for this bear season and it's over. Those who are still waiting for a lower low to buy may have missed it.
It is still have impact tho the last time all analysis agree that fed will raise the rates from 5.5% to 5.75% and the market react it. the proof is my image below

The bitcoin price is down for 4%

it is because most of crypto owner is from the united states according to - Triple A survey - https://triple-a.io/crypto-ownership-data/

"United States   339,996,563   44,959,854   13.22%"
1278  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: July 29, 2023, 02:55:38 AM
I'm not defending him nor being a fan of him but we need to look at the fact that he is a genius and I believe he will soon bring Twitter back to its glory days.

After Elon buy Twitter the Financial Statement is not fully declared to the public, I think because if he had revenue loss he had twitter blue revenue that we dont know

I would agree with you he is a genius and now he turned Twitter into X the media have said it going to be multi-app. And recent news he wants to pay the creator from the ad-revenue.
1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: July 29, 2023, 02:39:13 AM
Well, the speculations are that the Bitcoin price might see a significant drop from $29k-$30k and plunge to below $20k in the coming months. I think the price of BTC at the end of 2023 will be somewhere between $15k to $22k (I might be wrong). We will see a new ATH in 2024 after halving.

if the fed still raising rates yes maybe we will see another correction but i don't think it will hit the 15K but I might be wrong too  Grin

today price still held at 29K level
1280  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some financial secrets that you know of? on: July 28, 2023, 03:30:16 AM
I dont think there is secret or maybe there is a secret but I still don't know it yet.

The thing for sure is we need an investment so we can fight against the inflation rate.

Look at this chart

is its like an invincible monster our money year by year will never the same as couple year ago.

so the secret sauce is keep working I'm afraid and doing an investment at least in future our investment can help us
