1261  Other / Meta / Re: Why was I banned? on: November 15, 2014, 01:40:26 AM
why are you so eager to be in here? you must ask yourself this. what are your motives? you may think you appear innocuous enough, but just firing off inconsequential posts all over the place makes you look like you are merely trying to pad your status and promote your sig.

its good to be honest with yourself because everyone else sees the same thing. There's nothing "illegal" with sig campaigns, just make a little effort to be part of the conversation. If you cant find anything valuable to say, hang out in "Begginers & Help" there are plenty of newbies in there that could use your assistance for real btc-related problems and inquiries, and you can get your posts done while actually contributing to the community. You never know, you may help some n00b that will one day remember and send some favour your way  Wink
1262  Other / Meta / Re: What is Off-Topic NOW ? on: November 15, 2014, 01:31:14 AM
If you want to see what a thread that has gone off topic is visit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=68655.0

first page of the speculation thread as long as I can remember and rarely any discussion relating to the thread's title. Lots of hostility though.
1263  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] A little question How much btc do you have ? on: November 15, 2014, 01:27:47 AM
The amount the BTC price matters varies depending on how well I am doing financially. If I am in a position where I need liquid cash, then BTC price is very important because I want as much $ as possible. I own gold and silver too, they are both long term "store of value" holdings that I will only dip into if I need to. I watch those prices carefully too.

I'd love to see a world where you can do all you spending with btc, it would drive the price up so high and no one would need to "cash out" ever, but that world is a long way away, if ever, so until then, we watrch the price.
1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: November 15, 2014, 01:10:52 AM
hard to tell what topic we are on now. I came in here to talk about gold markets...obviously not the convo here
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2014, 01:07:12 AM
ISIS live in a world reminiscent of 500 BC, or older. They are planning to mint coins and print paper money, its all thier caveman brains can understand.

If they do make a crypto, it will not flourish, they do not have enough supporters. If they mint actual metal coins...many collectors will want one if not a set. This alone could be very profitable for them.

Mostly I believe ISIS to be very much full of crap. They spend most of thier time trying to make themselves look bigger and stronger than they are. Stunts like beheading videos and such are obvious efforts to make themselves look big.

True they have a lot of oil to sell and friends in russia, but the rest of the world is closing in, they will be crushed. They only exist in the form they do now because they are useful in the Imperialist USA agenda.

Still want an ISIS penny tho
1266  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-08] Major French Supermarket Chain to Accept Bitcoin on: November 15, 2014, 12:56:03 AM
Monoprix is HUGE. I was just in Paris and shopped there every day. they are everywhere, the selection is good, the prices are cheap...Monoprix is a part of French life! Chilled, good quality rose wine for 2 euros a bottle...can not be beat!
1267  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 14, 2014, 09:31:50 PM
when are we going to see some financial statements? AM seems to be busy busy but where is the money going? solomining? all sold to private investors as Datatank? what is going on? is AM just a shadow? are all profits being syphoned into umbrella companies?

I want FC to address this BS, not one of his minions to come on here and simply deny. That has been the course for over a year and things are just sliding further down. dont talk to me about LONG range goals and long games... we get no info, no divs and tanking share value. What part of this equation is ok? answer=none of it!

Its a mystery what is going on with FC and AM.
1268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi I'm new!! on: November 14, 2014, 09:17:30 PM
I also just learned about alternates to Bitcoin. Like penny stocks. I will probably invest in those too. Anyways, my journey begins...

Be very careful of the vipers in there.. Best of luck with your store|BTC integration.

Be very very VERY careful in the securities area. Read all the posts in all the threads...there are trolls, shills, and manipulators everywhere, my guess is the trolls outnumber the legit users by a long shot.

I would like to think one can turn a profit in the securities sphere, but I am afraid that the profitable offerings are no longer offered to the general public. Dont be fooled by past performances either, the btc world changes so fast that a home run last week is meaningless now.

I honestly do not believe you will make any money or even ROI with anything offered in securities. most likely you will lose everything.

be careful, and ... I WARNED YOU
1269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help me choose a wallet on: November 14, 2014, 09:01:00 PM
get several wallets and try them out. you can send satoshis to yourself if you want. from there you can see which wallets you like using.

what are your needs? online wallets are convenient for using btc out in real world, but I would never trust any more than about 0.5 btc to any one of them. online wallets are the least secure.

desktop wallets are safer, but paper wallets are the safest.

I like to use armory because of thier "watch-only" cold storage, but I also use multibit and I have a bitcoin-q client running to support the network, but I almost never use it for btc moving or storage.

I use the blockchain wallet as my to-go hot wallet.

your needs will be different than mine, so you must explore your options and make your own decisions.

Also, encrypt everything.
1270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: November 14, 2014, 08:53:58 PM
not sure if you will ever make ROI no matrter who you choose. Cloud mining lets smaller players get in on the game but they shoulder the risk, like say if difficulty shot through the roof, the shareholders take the hit.

I'm curious to know the situation on the operator's side in this area. The guys who set up the farms and run the contracts...they must be making money... and without all the risk (shareholders have paid for everything already)
1271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what are faucets? on: November 14, 2014, 08:48:49 PM
a faucet sends you a few satoshis for doing a simple "human" task (watch short video, solve captcha, solve easy problem/answer question)
they are primarily used for advertizing and directing net traffic. most give out tiny amounts to a wallet they control until you reach the minimum withdrawl amount...this can take a very long time to reach. Also I have heard that some send dust transactions with no fee so you may never actually get your satoshis.

Faucets are a novelty and a gimmick. If you put the time spent on faucets into some legit method of earning you would do a lot better.
1272  Other / Meta / Re: Growing number of necro posters are taking advantage of old threads on: November 14, 2014, 08:41:00 PM
sometimes the discussion you are interested only appears in an older thread. not everyone is keen to begin new threads...but if the posts are meaningless...yes ban them. Is it a new wave of n00bs trying to create puppet accounts? would make more sense to post innocuously in existing active threads and not be noticed...these new guys are pretty easy to spot though...I'm even seeing a few with such idiosyncratic style of writing that you can spot them through several different accounts... wasnt the last wave of this BS related tpo the bearwhale incident?

Jeez all these nickle-dime losers are a real threat to my legit sig income...idiots.
1273  Economy / Services / Re: EARN BITCOIN WITH YOUR SIGNATURE ,UP TO 0.1BTC A MONTH, ONLY 30 SLOTS LEFT on: November 14, 2014, 08:20:11 PM
still no payment or any notice of what is going on. PR for this company is pathetic.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2014, 12:14:21 AM
yeah, the least attention from people like ISIS (and the forces that oppose them) the better. Bitcoin's core philosophy is about empowerment, NOT oppression (ISIS)

If OP wants to help ISIS he should go over there and put "boots to the ground" I give him about 45 mins in the warm embrace of ISIS before he comes pleading to be let back into USA.

OP is trollin'

She misses the most obvious point. Monster Energy Drink tastes like something that came out the devil's butt.
1278  Economy / Services / Re: EARN BITCOIN WITH YOUR SIGNATURE ,UP TO 0.1BTC A MONTH, ONLY 30 SLOTS LEFT on: November 13, 2014, 04:26:52 AM
The weird part is I am starting to expect people to be unresponsive, fickle and unpredictable at least, due to my dealings in the BTC sphere. It is the only place in my life where this sort of behavior is tolerated, even rewarded. Its starting to bleed over into my real life too. People talk to me and I walk away while they are half way through speaking. I stand there and appear to be listening but I have not, and I have no reaction whatsoever. I will live, life will go on, everyone will figure it out eventually...why bother?

1280  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 10, 2014, 06:53:10 AM
i am unclear if amhash is considered to be part of the 20% network friedcat aims to command or if that 20% is entirely AM solomining its own stuff? im enjoying this offering btw
