Quote
'I Don't Think Science Knows': Visiting Fires, Trump Denies Climate Change

See, this two things are actually related to each other, while the fact that Biden supports ending the war in Ukraine in a way that guarantees that aggression is not rewarded, that we do not go back to cold war and where Ruzzia has an incentive to avoid further wars and demilitarises itself in the process has nothing to do with helping rebuild Maui.

Climate change is something that has been going on for at least the last five thousand years. In the northern half of the United States, they get four seasons every year. Climate change. If you want time periods other than annually, same thing. You pick it. Climate change all the time... warm to cold, cold back to warm, warm to cold again... over and over and over.

When you study the science, global warming has been rate-decreasing over the last 20 years or so.

When you study the history of the earth, there have been times when the earth was much warmer, and times when it was much colder. Maui fires don't have anything to do with it, and climate change doesn't have anything to do with Maui fires.

Trump was right as usual.

Climate change is an excuse that Biden might use to say that it's nature, so might as well give more money to Ukraine for the war.

SEC should come out plain with their reasons as to why they want those coins delisted.
There are lots of coins that has potentials like the ethereum, litecoin and lots of them.
Because I don't understand what the regulators mean by saying "we're not going to explain it to you, you need to delist every asset other than Bitcoin".
I think the the court should just take a decided stance on this matter, because this is very delicate, as it involves lots of people's investments.

If anybody wants to get out from under the SEC, all they have to do is use wallets and programming that has Private Member Association (PMA) written into the transactions pages. This makes every transaction to be a PMA, with the hash as the identifying configuration. Government has no authority over a PMA as long as it isn't harming the members or damaging their property.

BTW, the members = the sender and the receiver.

http://www.ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2023/august/14/as-maui-burns-biden-demands-another-24-billion-for-ukraine/
I am not a big fan of Federal Government disaster relief. Too much of the time the money never gets to those who need it most, and too often Washington's armies of disaster "experts" are more interested in pushing people around than helping them.

Nevertheless, it's hard to look at recent footage of the devastation in Maui and then hear President Biden tell Congress that he needs another $24 billion for Ukraine. How can this Administration continue to justify tens of billions of dollars for this losing war that is not in our interest while the rest of the United States disintegrates?

Biden's new $24 billion request comes on top of well over $120 billion already spent to fight the US proxy war on Russia in Ukraine. Heritage Foundation budget expert Richard Stern has done the math and determined that Biden's spending on the Ukraine war thus far will cost each and every American household $900. How many Americans would rather have those $900 dollars back in their pocket rather than in the pockets of Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, and Ukraine's oligarchs?

Recent surveys have shown that a majority of Americans could not afford to cover a sudden $1,000 emergency. Will Americans connect the dots and realize that the reason they can't find that $1,000 for an emergency is because the neocons have already sent it to Ukraine?

The day that Putin will have an handcuffs to his hands will be the day when we will see a new formidable state to rival USA, as much as I hope that Putin gets tried for this, he will likely be assassinated. When it comes to Trump though, why is he still going for a re-election campaign? Is the majority of the USA still clamoring for his return?

After Putin, the empire will cease to exist. Many of its peoples will become independent from Moscow. We must not forget that the Russians will have to pay indemnity for many years for the death of thousands of Ukrainians and the destruction in Ukraine. One way or another, the Russians will have to pay for evil, and this payment will be large.

^^^ But if you look at the charges and indictments, you will see that loads of other presidents of the past have done way more in the same areas as Trump is being charged with. But none of them except Clinton was ever charged with wrongdoing for them.

The point is that the Deep State is working as hard as it can to prosecute Trump into a position where he doesn't make it into the presidency.

If they can't prosecute Trump out of the presidency, they just might have to declare an emergency of some kind, to shut down elections.

The simple reason for the aggressiveness of the Russian world is, nobody else will do it for them.

Cool

Right, a nation have to defend their territory and sovereignity, but in the case we could argue Russia is not defending her territory, but rather trying to steal some from another sovereign state.

Even if we take NATO expansion in consideration, Russia crossed the border in the middle of the night and started the active aggression against Ukraine. There is no excuse to risk the life of civilians and bomb civil infrastructure, does not matter were the bombs come from, violence is supposed to be avoided.

The point of Russia trying to steal some of Ukraine's land is invalid. Why? It was Russian land in the past. The people living there are both Russian and Ukrainian. The Ukraine military was attacking and killing both Russians and Ukrainians living on that land. This killing was going on since at least 2014. And there was a lot of destruction of property, as well.

Further, This Ukraine government killing activity was going across the border into Russia in places. It wasn't far across the border, and it was often in guerilla style of fighting, and Russia warned for a long time that they should quit killing and destroying property. But they didn't.

Further, a week before Russia 'invaded', Ukraine built up its military along the borders of Donetsk and other areas, like it was going to war with the people living there. Russia's goal was to stop the Ukraine killing. But the Ukraine government wouldn't play along with Russia, and the war is the result.

Since it was the US and Nato behind the Ukraine actions, Russia will be coming for the US and Nato sometime soon. They have to, just for Russia to survive.

Notice that it doesn't say that Trump had something to do with it.
They were investigating Russian Government links to and contacts with the Trump campaign.

Paul Manafort was the chairman of the Trump campaign.

Besides, it's purported to be FBI, who we all know is in collusion with the Biden team. They would easily blame Trump for something that would make him look bad, truth or not.

The report was written by the special council, who was appointed by the Trump team in 2017.  Trump was elected president in 2016.  Biden was elected president in 2020.

I would agree with you that if someone does criminal activity or appears to have done criminal activity, investigate and prosecute as necessary.

By the admission of the info you showed us, it was the Trump team and the Trump campaign manager that might have done wrongful activity. Since Trump has been shown to have had nothing to do with criminal Russian collusion, go after the people who did... not Trump. Trump doesn't control every activity of his people, or even know what they are doing all the time. There is the element of trust in there.

Take Biden for example. He supposedly wants to send like $40 billion more to Ukraine. And Ukraine doesn't have anything to do with America. The money is increasing inflation which is already like double from a couple of years ago. How are Americans supposed to live with that.

How is this Biden activity comparing with Trump's supposed Russian collusion activity? Simple. We all watch Biden on stage or anywhere. On a good day, he might understand some of what is going on. But so often he is simply a parrot of what is being supplied to him by his handlers. Does he even know what goes on in his regime? Possibly. But certainly not as much of it as he should. Even if he has a criminal mindset, he trusts others. And do they do all kinds of things that he doesn't know about? Certainly.

Biden might just get off from his crimes by pleading insanity.

Ukrainians Begin to Despair as Bloody Counteroffensive Yields Small Gains

https://libertarianinstitute.org/news/ukrainians-begin-to-despair-as-bloody-counteroffensive-yields-small-gains/?feed_id=7019&_unique_id=64d551b2d88d7
"Ukrainians, much in need of good news, are simply not getting any," the Washington Post reported Thursday. One Ukrainian, Alla Blyzniuk, interviewed by the outlet, said, "[before] people were united." Now, she described, a sense of collective "disappointment."

The sense of despair is driven by massive casualties in Kiev's counteroffensive. Blyzniuk said that most soldiers sent to the front die in just two to three days. Last week, Politico reported that Kiev had committed 150,000 troops to fight along three fronts. Nevertheless, the Pentagon admits that Ukrainian forces have failed to make any significant gains.

Washington publicly claims it has provided Kiev with everything Ukraine needs to wage a successful counteroffensive. However, Western officials admitted to the Wall Street Journal that Ukrainian forces lacked critical equipment. "When Ukraine launched its big counteroffensive this spring, Western military officials knew Kyiv didn't have all the training or weapons—from shells to warplanes—that it needed to dislodge Russian forces." The report continued, "But they hoped Ukrainian courage and resourcefulness would carry the day. They Haven't."

Perhaps it is just me, but using the sad case of the political assassination in Ecuador to compare it to what it could happen to a political candidate for the Presidency of the United States is rather out of place. Both countries are very different from one another in terms of organized crime and the consequences which an assassination of such magnitude would imply in America.

While I agree that if a candidate is relevant enough and has reasons to fear for his/her personal security, then the government should provide protection to him/her. it is matter of common sense, in my opinion.

Though, I am not sure if RFK is relevant enough as politician in this presidential race, still one should give him the benefit of the doubt an take his word seriously; nobody wishes to be assassinated, after all...

The point is that RFK should be getting protection like other major candidates do. The polls show that He has at least 20% of the Dem vote.

Probably the biggest thing that affects life expectancy is, Jesus fills the whole universe. He wants us to use the things of the universe to live healthy lives. So, accepting Him is part of using-the-things-of-the--universe, because He is aware of everything and everybody.

Cool

Yeah, he said we should reference his name above every other name and that he is able to come to our rescue at all times, including when we are sick that he is the greatest healer. His desire for us is for good and not for evil. Therefore, we should feed subdue our world and harness all that will make us feel better in our life.

Life and healthy life and be free from bacteria   Grin That is the surest way to increase our life expectancy, don't feed on toxic and poor nutrition.

What most people don't realize is that Jesus isn't exactly here. He hasn't been seen on earth since His ascension.

Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to take His place while He is gone. The Revelation says that The Holy Spirit is a seven-fold Spirit. One of those seven has always been here since the Beginning. That fold of the Spirit is the One Who gradually heals us from diseases. He's the One who slowly makes a scab on a cut, so that it heals. He acts in all things to heal them. But He acts slowly.

The Holy Spirit fold that Jesus sent at the Pentecost, is available to all people who have enough faith. He is the One Who works whatever miracles that are done while Jesus is gone.

We need the right kinds of bacteria in the world as it is.

The surest way to increase our life expectancy is to fill ourselves on the Word of God all the time, more and more. Then, using what we have learned by filling ourselves, we need to focus on the words that grow our faith. Jesus said, when His disciples asked Him to increase their faith, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you" - https://www.biblehub.com/niv/luke/17.htm.

In the US, all that government money borrowed from the Fed (actually, newly created), and given to Ukraine, is filtering back into the US. It's a big part of the inflation that is going around... often doubling prices in only a year. Some of the American people who are suffering the most are senior citizens. And now Government only wants to give them a 3% Social Security increase rather than the 8% like last year. Last year's 8% was way too small as it was. But at the same time government is already thinking about war reparations for Ukraine.

Seniors Told To Brace For Far Lower Social Security Payment Boost In 2024

https://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finance/seniors-told-brace-far-lower-social-security-payment-boost-2024
The latest COLA estimate from The Senior Citizens League (SCL) is around 3 percent, which amounts to a roughly $54 increase in the current average monthly benefit check of $1,789.

The estimate could still change, however, with SCL saying it will release its final projection for the 2024 COLA on Sept. 13.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is expected to announce the actual COLA for 2024 sometime in mid-October.

To arrive at its official calculation, the SSA takes the average of the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) during the third quarter of 2023 (which includes July, August, and September). This figure is then compared to the corresponding data from the previous year.

"The COLA announcement is expected to be October 12, 2023, barring any unforeseen delays from a government shutdown," Mary Johnson, Social Security and Medicare policy analyst at SCL, said in a statement.

A partial government shutdown in 2013 led to delays in the official COLA announcement.

The more money that the US pumps into Ukraine, the higher inflation goes, to the detriment of the American people. But Russia grows.

India Consumes 11x More Crude Oil From Russia, Exposing Ineffectiveness Of Western Sanctions

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/india-consumes-11x-more-crude-oil-russia-exposing-ineffectiveness-western-sanctions
According to the data, export volumes were almost 11 times higher than last year's shipments over the same period and exceeded shipments for the whole of 2022. Last year, India imported 33.4 million tonnes of Russian crude oil.

It is another sign that Western sanctions have had a much smaller impact than expected on Russia's ability to export its natural resources.

During the period under review, Russia secured the title of India's primary supplier of crude oil, followed by Iraq (21.4 million tonnes) and Saudi Arabia (17.5 million tonnes).

Russian crude imports to India continued to grow over the summer, reaching a record 2.2 million barrels per day in June and rising for ten consecutive months, according to crude analyst firm Kpler.

Deliveries fell slightly in July to an average of 1.9 million barrels, according to a special report in the Morning Express newspaper earlier this week.

Analysts attributed the decline to the production cut agreed by the OPEC+ group, under which Moscow has pledged to reduce output by 500,000 barrels a day.
