In 9.5 years there will be 60 000 000 HYPER - then HYPER will stake at 2% annual interest for eternity. This is to ensure that HYPER remains spendable and that anyone can earn HYPER through staking by helping secure the network on ordinary laptops and desktop computers. I'm now getting this error every time I try to start the wallet. It began happening after I encrypted my wallet, and it automatically shut down to complete the encryption process. When I tried to start it up again after, I began getting this error. It tries to start up, but after sitting at the splash screen for several minutes, it just gives this error and quits.
Any solutions?
Haven't heard of that before. Which version of the wallet are you using? Windows, Mac or Linux? Windows Do you currently have HYPER in that wallet? Do you have an older backup of the wallet.dat? Do you run other wallets on the same PC that might contain malware? Do you have an antivirus that may be messing with the HYPER install? If you have an older backup of the wallet.dat try and replace your wallet.dat in the %appdata% folder with your backup (but also backup the current wallet.dat). If you have no HYPER currently in the wallet I would recommend a reinstall. It sounds like a corruption error. You can also try -salvagewallet command in the console and see if this fixes your problem. Let me know how it goes! If you have HYPER in your wallet please make sure to backup the wallet.dat that can be found in %appdata% folder (you can search for this folder in windows and then find your wallet.dat in the "Hyper" folder) BEFORE trying the -salvagewallet command above or reinstalling the wallet. If you haven't done so for a while I would recommend good anti virus software and a scan too (but back up ALL your crypto wallets before doing this). Conversely, your antivirus might be the problem: your antivirus might be messing with the wallet. |

Sorry... but when I try to run the Just Cause 2 server with the ip given on the forums I get a message saying: that the connection has been refused
because of the wrong server? please update? is this a glitch on my end/ or is the server under maintenance?
(I discovered an old Just Cause 2 dvd which I bought from a local retailer...)

You can mine if you like but as mentioned the game is very PvP oriented and a PvP situation could be forced upon you by other players outside the corporation. This is a pretty cool idea - rewarding players who also help the ISK coffers of the HYPER Crypto Corporation grow through mining in-game. We'll also need money to dominate the Universe as well as a HYPER army right? Sounds like it might be a dangerous task though - more dangerous than it seems! i got a hyper wallet...ive been doing some things with it and i placed %appdata% in the correct folder. my wallet still says out of sync. also i've made a withdrawal transaction and its not showing. what should i do?
What version of the wallet are you using? Windows, Mac or Linux? Have you used the wallet before fully synced? What block no. does it say the wallet is up to with downloading the blockchain? Sounds like you just need to leave the wallet open so it can download the blockchain and catch up to the network. This is taking longer than usual right now and I am working on an update to the wallet to make the blockchain download faster. Please let me know how it goes! |

In regards to Hyperzanda, we've had a player who has managed to cheat and earn an inordinate amount of SHY in a very short amount of time. We are looking at the logs to see what happened. Although we now know how to integrate HYPER quite easily, we need to plug this security vulnerability before tying SHY to HYPER on an exchange. Thank you all for your patience and support I though hyperzanda going to have a new server and everything will start fresh? Yes hyperzanda will be reset and launched again when we add HYPER trading. However we still need to plug this bug in the game, otherwise this player or another player will cheat, and do the same thing next time. |
