It's not a problem for Bitcointalk users, they already know how to access the original mixer, the site, and possibly check in ANN. The issue of phishing and fake pages is quite well-known here. The problem comes with inexperienced users and those who believe that "if it's written on Yahoo or any reliable service, it must be true". This problem goes beyond the scope of the mixer service only.

I am assuming I am not eligible for the raffle.
Judging by your account, you are most likely not eligible for this raffle. Very low activity, i.e. the only participation in the free raffle, you don't have a single merit in the last 120 days (this is often a condition). Honestly, your account seems more like an alt that only serves to participate in raffles.

Please show me where I did "vouch for him" .
Please show me where I say that you vouch for him. This? If you are already a messenger, make sure that it does not sound like you are vouching for him with all his alternative accounts and the drama he was making.
Because I gave him a positive feedback months ago isn't it. Yes I did, and it stays there, because he gave me a small loan without collateral which I appreciated. Other than that we just spoke about life in general because we both live as expats in Asia, that's all.
I neither alluded nor investigated any of this. I didn't even check if you left him feedback, I didn't research or analyze anything about you two. Although you defend yourself aggressively, it sounds weird. I was not supposed to get back here, because this is a place for kids, but let's get back with one message for clarification.
So, your account was not hacked? I really dont understand why you attacking AHOYBRAUSE about it? AHOYBRAUSE asked me, I explaind how it was, he wanted to share it with you, even that it's not any of your business, I see it's kind of him.
Why did only you and AHOYBRAUSE see the attack on him? /I honestly don't even care about the reason, it's more of a rhetorical questionBut if you actually would find proof that I am an ALT of anyone. I challenge you. I will give that person 0.05BTC now you have to do for the rest of the week also.
You now owe FatFork 0.05 BTC, I hope you will show that you are a person who keeps his word.

Considering the real-time audit, Nexo got completely different business model from what took place in Celsius, where they had a clear Ponzi scheme.
There is no different business model! Celsius didn't go ponzi, they simply overlend money and a liquidity crash took them down s they had money in all the wrong places. Nexo is, for now, it just playing it safer, acting more like a traditional bank but this doesn't mean that's safe and doesn't mean that it will guarantee any kind of profits whatsoever. This is the best explanation, I fully support it. The next bull run (if there is one) will certainly bring new risky assessments that will offer profits of 1000% and more. Celsius went after such a profit, there is no guarantee that Nexo will remain immune and ignore such "potential".

Hey, in other thread I saw user reporting about this issue: https://pnnv.com is showing 1 BTC = 0 USD to me. Seems dead. Is it working for you? I see same thing. Can you fix it or you don't maintain website anymore? Preev is still not working as they supposed to work, so, alternatives like this one is needed I noticed that too, it's been like that for a while. As far as I can see, there is a problem with the exchange widget as well. At least it doesn't load for me. Both things seem like an API issue Preev is still not working as they supposed to work, so, alternatives like this one is needed
preev.com working, but there are certain problems with the SSL certificate. You probably have to accept the "risk" and continue on that site. https://preev.net/ always working, unfortunately, the planned improvements are long behind schedule

Inace evo jedan vrlo interesantan koncept vodjenja signature kampanje.

Hi, back in 2020 I transferred about € 10 000 worth of crypto to this exchange. I know now that it was stupid, but this knowledge won't help me now. How can I get my money back? This was most of my savings and I really need it back.
You probably have to start some kind of private lawsuit. It is not a small amount, so surely you have a good reason to investigate further. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but maybe you can start from here: Moreover, @tillkoeln was last seen recently on Telegram.
It doesn't take much social engineering on Google to find that tillkoeln is the pseudonym of Till Schmitz from Köln/koeln (Cologne), Germany. He supposedly studies on Tilburg University. If it's him, he's the dumbest scammer I ever seen to expose too much about himself before scamming people lol.
and User pokerowned also supported him, so I would try to investigate him as well

Clearnet doesn't work for me. Error 429 Too Many Requests from DDos-guard The domain name is one word, very related to the mixing service. It can affect the feeling as if we know about this service from before.

In our space (crypto gambling), sometimes it can definitely be considered a joke though... what I LOVE the most: Crypto casinos that don`t even have a license, don`t even disclose who they are, no company, no nothing... and they ask users for KYC... that`s absolutely hilarious! This is not the case only in the gambling industry. I have also seen it with various exchanges (in testing). I am of the opinion that it is only an attempt to avoid obligations and delay access to funds/winnings. Just because of the insistence on KYC by illegal services, all other regular cases are considered jokes.

Don't shoot the messenger man and you could ask these question in a better tone. I just updated here because I had time and thought it's a good idea since cg said it himself after he gets paid he is out of here. Also, there is no scam accusation thread about sakanwa, I just checked and I didn't find any. The communication was all in his general lending thread.
After everything we have seen in all the cases with the c_cowboy, manipulation, lies, fabrications... That is why we accept all the information coming from his kitchen with a great deal of suspicion. Don't forget that he started a lending service where he applied for a loan with his own sock puppet accounts. If you are already a messenger, make sure that it does not sound like you are vouching for him with all his alternative accounts and the drama he was making.

Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great. I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).
I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.
Rhetorical question, why do you do something you don't want your children to do? You are aware that you are doing something wrong, but still, you continue with it. Even in front of the children... In the end, they won't have to steal the money, you will give it to them willingly because you understand their need. By the way, that's exactly the situation that happened to me, but instead of gambling some other things.

Actually, I wanna know, is there any requirement to get child boards for the local board? Or give as soon as you apply? And if you have to apply, to whom should you apply? Can moderators do this? Or the admin himself? What is the process? Afaik, only theymos and Cyrus can create new local boards so what I would suggest is to make a request topic in Meta (but first talk about it in your local board to figure out which boards you actually need) and explain the reason why you need them. Just wanna warn you though that it may take some time to get them as nothing gets done fast around here. They certainly won't do that because they are expected to switch to the new Epochtalk forum software and all changes waiting for that moment. I believe that when the transition starts, then new child boards and some new stuff will be added or whatever.

For those who care, cyber cowboy informed me that the loan has finally been paid in full.
Why did he only say that to you, why don't you make an update in his scam accusation thread? With proof of course. If he cannot access his account, he can always use another account with an address signing to prove that it is him. That is so frivolous and opens up all possibilities. But as far as I can see from the feedback, both accounts (cyber cowboy and Rohan Kotkar) are actually connected and probably alt accounts. So, a big red flag for all involved in this bullshit.

You are on point with the metrics you provided. Although I can't ascertain how incoherent the results might be if this metrics is used as a standard to measure the success or failure of any similar forum as this, but this metrics will sure do and is notably still the best one yet.
Keep in mind that external factors also affect the increase or decrease of activity on the forum. For example, always during the bull run and when Bitcoin reaches its historical highest point, interest in it rises sharply like all other cryptocurrencies. I believe that some parallel graphs would show it well. The same thing happens in the opposite direction, when it's bearish and when everything goes down, interest also decreases and activity on the forum decreases.
|
|
|
Now that you have passed certain initial things, I think it is the right time for you to start learning about Bitcoin itself and the technological potential it offers. You will see that it is not a scheme for investing and getting rich. The better you understand Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, the easier it will be for you to make decisions about managing your investments and crypto capital.

@bitmover pošalji PM menadžeru i pitaj ga za svoj status. Možda te unaprijedi u merit rang status.
Mislim da je vec bila diskusija ili bar pokusaj o ovome. @bitmover, I have not overlooked your application. Replying specifically so that you don't feel ignored. You have enough merit for the Merit rank but we are looking for some exceptional members for the remaining Merit Rank slot/s. I hope you understand it that the Merit rank does not only consider the qualified merit but there are other factors involved in there too.
In that case, the name "merit rank" is inappropriate, the bitmover case shows that despite fulfilling the quota of merit, it is not enough. Maybe a green zone again, Gold, VIP or something that will look good in terms of marketing.

Since you admitted that you are a freelancer it's important to show us your success rate who are your clients and give us a list of sites that you ranked and why would potential clients pick you instead of more established SEO companies, It is better to tell us if you are affiliated on SEO companies like all SEO freelancers are doing.
Honestly, I have a hard time believing an SEO specialist who does not have his own site to showcase his service, and rank it in his chosen niche, if there is one, better to include it here.
When it comes to SEO, results and testimonials are very important.
I have to partially defend the OP, that is, the SEO business in general. First, it is not to be expected that someone will publicly share information about their clients. This is not done for the protection of clients, so as not to affect their reputation. Such things can be considered inside information. There is no way to prove that someone did SEO for a certain company, website or whatever. Apart from taking their word for it or if the client himself officially announces it somewhere (but this happens very rarely). Even if you have all the reliable information that person xx did SEO for site YY, without prior knowledge (about SEO) and certain (paid) tools, you cannot determine the quality of the SEO work performed. Backlinks are what he needs to prove. Their quality and method of creation. However, what exposes the OP is his offer. He persistently offers backlinks, some of which he calls premium. Now I responsibly claim that it is not possible to get 10 "high-quality" backlinks for $50 (let's ignore the fact that his specific service comes with it). Or even 40 "elite" BL. for $300. Just imagine, for example, CMC+Coingecko+38 and other "elite" sites sharing $300 for backlinks to some new and unproven crypto site... What the OP doesn't say is that bad backlinks cause penalties from Google, and it's very difficult to correct that later.

I feel like Max did all he could even with all the things that happened. I mean this dude didn't even had tire changes during the SC to get the first place, and he couldn't get that, which was a terrible deal for them because if he was first he would have fresh air and he would be able to just run with it, and wait until the ones behind him get the changes, and he could get a pit spot there.
They can already start doing certain tests and preparations for the next season. Because of Red Bull's dominance, I almost lost interest in following F1. Maybe Red Bull fans don't think so, but that was never good for any sport. However, what I watched restored my faith that F1 can be interesting again. What Carlos Sainz showed was a real masterclass.

I have a question about service fee, why is it always changing?, when I refresh the mixer, the service fee changes to: 4.637%, 3.017%, 1.055%, ..etc. I never got the service fee 0.7% or bottom.
I think that it is part of greater anonymity and potential concealment that coins go through the mixer, with different fees for each transaction. Just imagine if there was a fixed fee of 0.75% for all transactions, it would mark all Yomix transactions in some way. After a while, as soon as you see a 0.75% fee on a transaction, you automatically know where these funds came from, without the need for further verification. You have a slider, so at the end, you choose which fee you want to pay. I recommend that it always be different.

The value of the 1337 coins was so low that it is not worth the effort, but thanks for the detailed answer. I also think, since he hosted it so unprofessionally from his basement. Some of the payouts may even have been done manually, as I said, good that such an exchange disappears from the scene.
Honestly, I largely blame the projects themselves and the small communities that accepted the listing on this exchange or similar ones. Somehow they desperately wanted to be tradeable coins, so they just closed their eyes to all the suspicions of poor exchanges. Oh, a long time ago I had a 1337 wallet and some coins there. He wasn't exactly worthless. I left it when it was rebranded to Elite (or something like that). It's always sad when I hear that some old coin with solid potential is losing the interest and support had from the community.
