Maybe Indonesia will become a starter country that supports cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, so that other developing countries start to adopt bitcoin too. There will be many hurdles for sure, but the Indonesian government's decision to launch their own local exchange is a bold and willing one to accept crypto as a valuable digital asset. Even though it is centralized and requires KYC, it is everyone's choice. There are facilities provided by the government to trade legally so that it does not violate the rules that have been set.
I do agree with you maybe it can pave the way for other countries that crypto is not that bad and in the other hand you know that Government like Tax so much hehehhe if this exchange open there will be another income for government. I think would be great if parent made crypto saving in separate wallet so when they grow up they can use it for example college or made small business. Since I am a technical guy and do know some programming. For my kids, I love to teach also the technology behind Bitcoin, like how it is working from the technical side, and explain things that easily for my kids to understand.
Another thing is the economics behind Bitcoin, how it works, what is pros and cons of using Bitcoin, how it can help the financial system, or how it can help when we are using them as a mode of payment.

Even if ETH doesn't move to POS and doesn't have a burn mechanism, it's still a top altcoin and worth investing in. I don't think supply is too much of an issue for ETH based on what it brings to the market, keep in mind its potential and value are huge before it even has a token burn mechanism. But for comparison and as an alternative to bitcoin, both are not worthy because bitcoin is unique and no one can compare. Bitcoin's decentralization creates an unmatched security that no other altcoins can match.
Yes ETH is a promising project and maybe will be top of altcoin for long time since the chain can handle the smart contract and everyone can make their token there make the Ethereum is best altcoin in my opinion. but if you want to diversify i would pick both of etherum and cardano because both are the long standing altcoin and community or dev keep develop the coin but i think the problem with eth is has unlimited supply rather than cardano but eth seems have burning mechanism so maybe it will be hit different
